At the recent Midwest Glaucoma Symposium at the Cleveland Clinic, I learned so much from a presentation by Dr Matthew Brink about the benefits of phaco in glaucoma patients. He has some very keen insights and he made the point that it deserves further research and that his findings would benefit from further inquiry. This is the mark of a true expert because the more we know, the more we realize how much more there is to know. This podcast covers that topic but also the rewards and challenges of building his new private practice and the strive to get every patient his best. Very inspiring and truly a future leader in our field, so it's great to enjoy interacting with him at this earlier stage.
