The ACTUAL Root of Neck & Shoulder Pain

If you’re experiencing unexplained neck pain, shoulder pain, or upper back pain issues, it could be referred pain from your liver or gallbladder. Discover the connection between your gallbladder and shoulder pain. Find out if you’re dealing with referred pain and what to do about it. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Your neck pain is not spine-related! 0:47 Gallbladder, liver, and neck pain connection 2:30 What causes neck pain? 3:30 How to get rid of chronic neck pain and shoulder pain 4:06 How to determine if you have referred pain Eliminate junk food with the FREE Dr. Berg Junk Food Meter app: https://drbrg.co/457AcIO Apple Download: https://drbrg.co/4l8Wtw4 Android Download: https://drbrg.co/4lMZyCQ Discover nutrient-dense foods that support liver and gallbladder health here: https://drbrg.co/45kPiMh Try these 5 strategies to cut ultra-processed foods: https://drbrg.co/4f9yYS6 Your neck pain might not be spine-related. Your gallbladder is a small sac that hangs beneath your rib cage and connects to the small intestine and liver. When you eat, the gallbladder releases bile into the small intestine to help you break down fat. Bile is made of cholesterol and bile salts. You can develop gallstones when cholesterol is high and bile salts are low. Before the development of gallstones, you’ll have bile sludge that clogs the ducts, applying pressure to the phrenic nerve that extends to the neck. This causes referred pain in the neck and shoulder area. Any congestion in the liver or gallbladder can cause unexplained neck pain and shoulder pain. This can’t be fixed with surgery, drugs, a chiropractor, physical therapy, or massage! You must address the root causes: bile deficiency, liver damage, alcohol, and junk food. Address these issues to get rid of referred pain. Bile salts are a powerful remedy for referred pain from the liver and gallbladder. TUDCA can help thin bile sludge and reduce fat on the liver. It’s also good for the eyes, brain, and pancreas. Increasing taurine is also beneficial, but dietary changes are the best remedy for this problem. To determine if you’re dealing with pain from the gallbladder or liver, manually massage the area to eliminate congestion. If this is the source of your problem, you’ll feel instant relief from right-side neck pain and shoulder pain. Instead of talking about nutrition or exercise, we're going to focus on a completely new factor that will help you never be stressed out again. 0:00 Introduction: How to never be stressed out again 0:20 How oxytocin affects stress 4:10 Tips for stress relief 6:58 Learn more about coping with stress! You can't avoid stress. So, you need to understand how to deal with stress naturally. Today, we're going to cover a new way to relieve stress that has nothing to do with sleep, diet, or exercise. Oxytocin is a hormone typically associated with reproduction. But, recently, I learned it's also involved in countering stress. Oxytocin is actually the most important hormone in counteracting cortisol and the fight or flight mechanism, and it's a major hormone involved in regulating anxiety and stress. Oxytocin is also involved in social biology and helps prevents atrophy of the hippocampus. The best ways to trigger oxytocin and reduce stress: • Bonding with people and pets • Volunteering • Donating • Sharing • Storytelling • Hugging This goes beyond diet and exercise. It's clear that helping others is something you can do to increase oxytocin and manage stress. But a few other factors are also at play. Vitamin C, magnesium, and cholesterol support healthy oxytocin levels, and estrogen increases the receptor for oxytocin. Check out my other videos to learn more about the best diet for stress and how to reduce stress naturally. A big factor is how quickly the brain gets the reward it’s seeking. Dopamine is a key driver of addiction, and it’s not a pleasure hormone like most people think. Dopamine plays a major role in wanting and seeking a reward, like opening the refrigerator and looking for something even though you’re already full. One of the most powerful addictions today is smartphone addiction. Checking your texts, emails, and social media feeds can consume hours of your life. The average person checks their phone around 130 to 160 times per day! Smartphone addiction can become especially dangerous when it leads to behaviors like texting while driving. One way to help break an addiction is to add friction and time between yourself and the behavior. This Vitamin MISTAKE is Super Unhealthy!

Claims that vitamin E can cause cancer and cardiovascular damage have left many people confused, to say the least. In this video, I’ll explain the difference between tocopherols and tocotrienols and why you may want to check the label on your vitamin E supplements. Uploaded 18-02-25 Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: Vitamin E explained 0:29 Tocopherols vs. tocotrienols 1:06 The benefits of tocotrienols 3:52 The benefits of tocopherols In nature, vitamin E exists in a complex. If you’re taking a vitamin E supplement that contains a-tocopherol, this can act as a pro-oxidant rather than an antioxidant, as it is only a fragment of the vitamin E complex. There are 2 types of vitamin E: tocopherols and tocotrienols. Tocotrienols are far more powerful and have the following potential benefits: •Anti-cancer effects •Potent anti-inflammatory •Increases lifespan in animal studies •Neuroprotective •Similar effects to statins on oxidative LDL •Supports cardiovascular health •Beneficial for workout recovery •Beneficial for age-related cognitive decline •Reverses damage from radiation •Scar tissue protection •Slows progression of liver cirrhosis Tocopherols do support and protect the cell membranes, and there is more research being done on tocopherols. They are also easier to find in many foods, such as green vegetables, seeds, nuts, olives, and olive oil. Tocotrienols are more difficult to find in food and may be easier to take as a supplement. They’re found naturally in annatto and red palm oil. 👉 Get Dr.Berg’s Daily Routine as a free download: https://drbrg.co/3NpzjWV Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 59, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis and Intermittent Fasting. The Fastest Way to Get Rid of Acne

Have you tried countless topical acne remedies that haven’t seemed to work? In this video, I’m going to show you how to get rid of acne fast, naturally! Uploaded 22-03-25 Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: How to get rid of acne fast, naturally! 0:27 Sulfur for acne 1:22 How does sulfur work? 2:20 What depletes sulfur? 2:51 Sources of sulfur for acne 3:20 How to get rid of acne by increasing sulfur foods DATA: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2198910/ Today, I’m going to share one of the best acne remedies to help get rid of acne naturally and effectively. I discovered 4 patents that involved sulfur for acne, and I noticed countless sulfur creams on the market. So, what’s the deal with sulfur for acne? Many people with acne are deficient in sulfur. Sulfur can help with acne removal because of the following benefits •Decreases inflammation •Increases hydration of the skin •Increases collagen •Helps regulate androgens •Helps regulate insulin Grains, sugar, seed oils, fructose, and alcohol can deplete sulfur. You get small amounts of sulfur from plants like garlic, onion, and cruciferous vegetables, but most of your sulfur comes from protein. Methionine and cysteine are the 2 amino acids that provide you with the most sulfur. After calcium and phosphorus, sulfur is the most abundant mineral in the body, so you need a lot of it! To increase sulfur and get rid of acne, consume the following foods: 1. Eggs 2. Fish 3. Beef 4. Lamb 5. Cheese 6. Organ meats You must also avoid sugar and starch, which will block the absorption of methionine and cysteine and decrease sulfur. Try increasing your intake of high-quality animal-based protein to get rid of acne fast. The 10 Risky Foods RFK Jr. Just OUTLAWED

I’m sure you’ve heard about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. banning certain artificial food dyes, but that’s just the beginning. Find out about the banned and soon-to-be-banned foods in our food supply that aren’t really foods at all! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: RFK Jr.'s banned food list 0:20 RFK Jr. bans food dyes 0:56 RFK Jr. and SNAP reform 2:02 RFK Jr. bans titanium dioxide 2:24 Brominated vegetable oil and potassium bromate 3:15 High-fructose corn syrup 3:52 Seed oils 4:21 Ultra-processed foods 4:56 Dr. Berg Junk Food Meter App 6:33 GRAS loophole (FDA) 1. Artificial food dyes There is no benefit to having toxic, artificial food coloring in our foods. The Delaney Clause prohibited the use of any food additives shown to induce cancer in humans or animals; however, in 1996, the Food Quality Protection Act effectively reversed this clause, allowing these chemicals back into the food supply. 2. The SNAP Program RFK Jr. is actively working to eliminate junk foods from the SNAP program. He is receiving a lot of pushback, even from unlikely sources, like the American Heart Association. 3. Titanium dioxide This ingredient is banned in France for causing DNA damage! It can enter the brain and has been identified as a carcinogen. RFK Jr. is actively working to remove this ingredient from the food supply. 4. Brominated vegetable oil This flame retardant has nothing to do with vegetables! Although it’s still used in American soft drinks, BVO has been banned in Europe, Japan, and India. 5. Potassium bromate This possible carcinogen is used to fluff up dough, yet it’s banned in 30 countries, but not in the US. 6. High-fructose corn syrup This corn-derived sweetener can lead to liver damage, a fatty liver, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and more. Many activists have been working to get this banned or limited in the children’s school system for some time. 7. Seed oils The average person consumes 25 to 30 percent of their calories from seed oils. They cause inflammation and other toxic effects, and can linger in the body for over a year after consumption. 8. Ultra-processed foods Ultra-processed foods contain synthetic starches, synthetic sugar, and seed oils. RFK Jr. aims to remove these foods from children’s lunches, hospitals, and assisted living homes. 9. Artificial sweeteners Sugar alcohols are made by fermenting natural ingredients, while artificial sweeteners use chemicals like petroleum. These sweeteners cause significant damage, including an alteration of your gut microbes and cancer. 10. GRAS The GRAS (generally recognized as safe) loophole allows industries to do their own testing to determine if a product is safe. SHRINK an Enlarged Prostate (And Restore Urine Flow)

Prostate enlargement has become increasingly common in men over 50. In this video, I’ll share the best diet for prostate health and the foods you should avoid to prevent or reverse an enlarged prostate. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: 11 foods to shrink the prostate naturally 0:30 Enlarged prostate symptoms 4:34 Natural remedies for an enlarged prostate 7:23 Insulin resistance and the prostate 8:33 The best foods for prostate health 11:20 Foods to avoid with an enlarged prostate A healthy prostate should be the size of a walnut, but an enlarged prostate can grow to the size of an orange! An enlarged prostate pushes against the bladder, reducing its capacity, which is why one of the most common symptoms of an enlarged prostate is frequent urination at night. Frequent urination at night, or polyuria, can also be caused by the following: •Type 2 diabetes •Prediabetes •High-carb diets •Excess water intake at night •Alcohol •Caffeine •Certain medications •Kidney damage •Sleep apnea Most medications for an enlarged prostate work by reducing DHT, a powerful form of testosterone. The following natural remedies inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which converts testosterone into DHT: •Saw palmetto •Milk thistle •Stinging nettle root •Pumpkin seed oil The prostate has a lot of vitamin D receptors. Vitamin D regulates the growth of the prostate and helps prevent excessive growth. To increase your vitamin D, get more sun exposure or take at least 20,000 IU of vitamin D daily along with 350 mg of magnesium glycinate. As testosterone decreases, that can sometimes leave you with too much estrogen. DIM is an excellent remedy for hormonal imbalances related to estrogen. One of the most common contributors to an enlarged prostate is insulin resistance. Too much insulin can trigger the hormone IGF-1, which can increase the size of the prostate. Insulin is triggered by the consumption of carbohydrates and frequent eating. These 11 foods can help shrink the prostate 1. Low-carb foods 2. Wild-caught salmon/sardines 3. Arugula 4. Beets 5. Pumpkin seeds 6. Dark chocolate 7. Green tea 8. Tomatoes 9. Cod liver oil 10. Apple cider vinegar 11. Indicators You're Consuming Too Much Sugar

Discover the signs you’re eating too much sugar. Number 1 will surprise you! 0:00 Introduction: The classic side effects of sugar 0:15 Sugar vs. carbohydrates 3:12 7 signs you’re eating too much sugar 4:59 The #1 sign you’re eating too much sugar In this video, we’re going to talk about some of the side effects of consuming too much sugar. Some of the well-known side effects of sugar include fatigue, brain fog, belly fat, carb cravings, and cavities. Is there a difference between sugar and carbohydrates? A carbohydrate consists of sugar, fiber, and starch. Starches are called polysaccharides, meaning many sugars or multiple sugar molecules connected together. Starches raise blood sugar levels significantly more than sugar. Starches like maltodextrin, modified food starch, and modified corn starch have a much higher glycemic index than sugar. Here are 7 surprising signs that you’re consuming too much sugar: 7. Reduced collagen Reduced collagen will result in loose, wrinkled skin and premature aging. 6. Chronic white tongue Candida from too much sugar will cause you to have a white tongue. You won’t be able to get rid of it without eliminating sugar from the diet. 5. Chronic sinus problems Most chronic sinus problems are caused by a fungus called Aspergillus that feeds on sugar. 4. Red or pink gums Red or pink on your toothbrush after brushing could signify a mild case of scurvy or vitamin C deficiency. High sugar consumption blocks vitamin C. 3. Low testosterone Low testosterone can cause erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and difficulty building muscle. 2. Susceptibility to infection Too much sugar can weaken your immune system, making you more vulnerable to infection. 1. High adrenaline levels Too much sugar damages the cell’s ability to make energy in the mitochondria. To compensate, the body produces more adrenaline. How 115 million Americans Got Chronic Disease Overnight (Without Getting Any Sicker)

The chronic disease epidemic in the U.S. is not caused by what you think. Discover why overdiagnosis is so common and why chronic disease diagnoses continue to rise. If you’re dealing with chronic disease symptoms, understanding the root cause is critical, but it’s often overlooked. One of the best ways to identify the root cause is to determine when your symptoms began, and what happened just before that. In 2017, more than 31 million people were diagnosed with hypertension overnight without any actual change in their blood pressure. Instead, the diagnostic definition of high blood pressure changed. Similar trends have occurred with cholesterol and diabetes. In 1988, an LDL level of 190 was considered normal. By 2001, that threshold had dropped to 130, and statin prescriptions doubled. The classification for high cholesterol dropped again in 2013. Prediabetes was also introduced as a diagnostic category, and today more than 115 million Americans have diabetes or prediabetes. Expanded diagnostic classifications have not translated into longer life expectancy. Chronically elevated insulin may be at the root of many chronic illnesses, and a high-carbohydrate diet can keep insulin levels elevated. Natural approaches and lifestyle factors are not always addressed when someone receives a chronic disease diagnosis. Viruses can kill you, but can they also help you? Learn how viruses spread and replicate in an attempt to evade your immune system and hijack your cells! One theory proposes that viruses are necessary tools for survival. You’re born with an innate immune system, but your acquired immune system develops over time. It cannot be developed without viruses! Viruses cause your immune system to adapt and become stronger. Some viruses, like the Epstein-Barr virus, downgrade the vitamin D receptor. Vitamin D has two different systems. One directs calcium to the bone, and the other supports everything else, including the immune system. Your immune system will suffer if you’re not getting daily vitamin D from your food, sun, or supplements. You need a minimum of 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily to support your immune system! Strengthen your immune cells with the following: 1. Vitamin D 2. Zinc 3. Vitamin C 4. Sleep 5. Stress reduction 6. Garlic 7. Elderberry 8. Intermittent fasting 9. Magnesium 10. Is oatmeal bad for you? Let’s talk about it. The small packets of flavored oatmeal contain a lot of sugar, and even though they may be marketed as healthy—they’re not. But what about unsweetened oatmeal? Here are three things you might not know about unsweetened oatmeal: 1. Certain studies show a significant improvement in blood sugar and cholesterol. However, the control in one of these studies is white bread. The study also only showed an improvement in blood sugar right after the meal. Part of the study referring to cholesterol was only on consuming beta-glucan, which is an isolated compound in oatmeal. In a different study, the participants all had diabetes, and they didn’t see a change in their blood glucose levels. 2. Oats contain a type of gluten called avenin. This protein has been known to increase cytokines. 3. Oat products have often been treated with glyphosate. The World Health Organization classifies glyphosate as a carcinogen. It may be beneficial to skip breakfast altogether and give intermittent fasting a try. If you do consume breakfast, eggs would be a healthier choice than oatmeal.
