Let’s talk about how to get rid of bloating fast. When it comes to a problem with the digestive system, the first thing you need to do is consider what you’re eating. You can try consuming fewer foods to help isolate what’s causing you to bloat the most. It’s important to consider what you ate just before you noticed you were bloated. This will give you a big clue as to what’s causing you to bloat. One of the best things to do for bloating is intermittent fasting. The more frequently you eat, the more bloating problems you’ll have. Gas produced by microbes in your gut can also cause bloating. When trying to get rid of bloating, avoiding certain things is way more important than taking certain things. Common foods to avoid to help with bloating: • Fruit • Beans • Grains • Refined sugars • Sugar alcohols • Starches • Maltodextrin or dextrin • Functional fibers • Prebiotics • Gluten • Lactose • Casein • Nuts or nut butter • Vegetables Other potential causes of bloating: • Stress • Constipation • Menstrual cramps Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Why Sea Moss Is Going VIRAL!

Sea moss has gained popularity on social media due to its numerous health benefits, but what exactly is it, and is it worth the hype? Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: Advantages of sea moss 0:05 What is sea moss? 0:23 Benefits of sea moss 1:03 What is the purpose of trace minerals? 1:50 Importance of selenium 2:56 Advantages of iodine 3:40 Carrageenan and its effects Sea moss and sea kelp are both types of seaweed that grow underwater and have similar nutritional value. People have used sea moss on their skin and internally to help with digestion and inflammation. Sea moss contains various nutrients, including amino acids, fiber, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and phytonutrients. One of the standout features of sea moss and other types of seaweed is its high mineral content. This includes trace minerals, which are essential for our health but needed in small amounts. Trace minerals are crucial in activating enzymes and proteins that aid in various bodily functions. For example, selenium is essential for converting the inactive form of thyroid hormone (T4) to its active form (T3) and supporting immune function. Sea moss is also a great source of iodine. Iodine is crucial for thyroid health and helps regulate estrogen levels in women. Unfortunately, most land-grown produce lacks trace minerals. To get enough of these essential minerals, we need to consume foods grown near the ocean or directly from the sea itself. Some forms of seaweed, including sea moss, contain carrageenan. While this ingredient has been linked to digestive issues, it’s important to distinguish between naturally occurring carrageenan found in sea moss and the artificially added version found in processed foods. But, the problem with testing your ketones long-term is that once you start to burn ketones efficiently, the tests aren’t very accurate. Thankfully, there are nine clear signs that can tell you if you're in ketosis or not. Top signs of ketosis: 1. No keto transitioning symptoms (keto flu, keto fatigue, keto rash) 2. Weight loss (initial water weight) 3. Loose clothes around the waist 4. An increase in energy 5. A boost in cognitive function 6. Less inflammation and pain 7. Feeling satisfied after eating 8. The #1 Best Food for Youthful Skin

If you want glowing, youthful skin, you must work from the inside out. Discover one of the best anti-aging foods for your skin to add to your diet today! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: How to look younger 1:46 The best anti-aging food 4:27 Collagen and anti-aging 4:52 The best anti-aging diet Is your beauty routine actually aging you? The creams and lotions you think are helping your skin could have plastics, toxic chemicals, and hidden carcinogens. Even the products containing collagen will not be absorbed topically through the skin. Over-cleansing and excess scrubbing destroy your skin’s microbiome. Tap water contains fluoride and chlorine, which are toxic and damaging to the skin. A filter for your shower can help. Statins can also destroy youthful skin. They block cholesterol, which is essential for skin health and integrity. The FDA does not do third-party testing on the chemicals in your anti-aging products. The EU has banned 1600 cosmetic ingredients, while the US has only banned 30. The best anti-aging food is high in retinol, an essential building block for connective tissue and vital for the skin’s immune function. This anti-aging food contains copper and zinc, which support skin elasticity and healing. It’s loaded with iron, and a single serving has more anti-wrinkle and anti-aging benefits than many expensive creams. If you haven’t guessed, grass-fed liver is the #1 anti-aging superfood! Grass-fed liver contains every cofactor and nutrient necessary for healthy, youthful skin. Some people don’t enjoy eating liver, and if you have preexisting liver damage, you may feel tired after eating it. If this happens, try taking one beef liver capsule before bed. Soaking liver in lemon juice can improve its taste. Many good recipes also make it more palatable. Liver pâté, grass-fed liver pills, and blending liver with ground beef can also help mask the flavor. If you consume collagen, you need many cofactors to penetrate the skin. Liver provides all of them! Ultraprocessed foods will make you look older! Low-fat diets can also have an aging effect on the skin. Low-fat protein and poor quality protein will help you lose weight, but won’t help you look younger. THIS is the Most Remarkable ADAPTOGEN in The World - How it Works and Why it's THE BEST

Chapters: Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: What are adaptogens? 0:48 The most powerful adaptogen in the world 1:28 How ashwagandha works 3:07 Cortisol explained 7:07 Ashwagandha benefits 8:58 Check out this important video on stress! Today, we’re going to talk about the most powerful adaptogen in the world: ashwagandha. An adaptogen is something that helps you cope with stress and helps your body adjust to its environment. Ashwagandha has a lot of benefits, but we’re going to focus on how it can help you adapt to stress. Ashwagandha has helped many people feel calmer and like they can cope with stress easier. Ashwagandha helps control the HPA axis, which is the communication between your hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenals. These hormonal communications help the body adapt to a stress response. Once the communication is complete, the hormone is supposed to lower back down, but with chronic stress, cortisol never goes back down and is chronically elevated. Ashwagandha can help reduce these hormones. Cortisol isn’t a bad thing. It doesn’t cause stress—it’s adapting your body to a stress state. But, it’s not healthy to have your body in a state of chronic stress and chronically elevated cortisol. Potential benefits of ashwagandha: • It helps lower cortisol in the AM • It helps lower DHEA (a precursor to cortisol) in the AM • It helps raise testosterone (stress lowers testosterone) • It helps increase endurance • It helps increase strength (stress may cause weakness) • It has shown significant improvements in emotions Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Today, I want to cover the best food to support healing and repair: red meat. Not only does red meat have the most protein, but it also has some other amazing benefits. Other types of protein, like eggs and salmon, are beneficial—but red meat is the best to support healing. Of all the things needed for the repair or healing process, amino acids are among the most important. Red meat is more bioavailable and is a more concentrated source of amino acids than other types of protein. It also contains more iron, magnesium, zinc, B vitamins, vitamin K, and omega-3 fatty acids than eggs. This doesn’t include processed meat from factory farms. It’s crucial to get high-quality grass-fed, grass-finished red meat. Red meat also contains four important additional nutrients for healing, repair, and recovery: 1. Carnitine 2. Creatine 3. Carnosine 4. Coenzyme Q10 People who have difficulty digesting red meat typically have low stomach acid. Even if you don’t like the taste of red meat, it may be because you have low stomach acid. Betaine hydrochloride may be beneficial to help strengthen your stomach acid. You can try taking three to five betaine hydrochloride supplements before a meal for about one month. However, if you tend to have excess iron, red meat may not be for you. Instead, you could try consuming more poultry or eggs. Best Treatments for INFLAMMATION (Autoimmune, Gut, and Arthritis) That You Never Considered

Chronic inflammation over time can lead to serious health problems like cancer, which tends to invade areas of inflammation. Fibromyalgia involves inflammation that spreads throughout the entire body. Many people with fibromyalgia have it on the right side of the body and also have pain underneath the right rib cage. Fibromyalgia all over the body is usually caused by a virus that has come out of remission. Viruses such as the Epstein-Barr virus, shingles, and herpes come out of remission when your immune system is weak. Stress is a common trigger because it activates cortisol, which suppresses the immune system. Lyme disease can cause pain and inflammation in the body and downgrade your ability to use vitamin D. Vitamin D is the most important vitamin for your immune system. It can increase the immune system or bring down an overactive immune system. More causes of inflammation include the following: •Old injuries •Inflammatory oncotaxis •Food allergies •High cortisol •Sugar, starch, and seed oils •Too much visceral fat •Insulin resistance •Autoimmune diseases •Soy protein isolates •EMFs •Certain medications •Too much iron •Fibroids The following remedies may help reduce inflammation in the body: •Vitamin D3 •L. reuteri probiotics •Carnivore diet •Low-carb diet •Intermittent fasting •Omega-3 fatty acids •The opposite technique (acupressure) --- Learn more about your ad choices. The 13 Major Keto Mistakes: DON'T MAKE THEM!

If you’re not losing weight on keto, or you’re stuck on a keto plateau, this is for you. Make sure you’re not making these common keto diet mistakes... they could be the reason why keto isn’t working! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 00:00 Introduction: The keto diet is not working for me! 0:41 Why I’m not losing weight on keto 5:35 Gallbladder, liver health, and the keto diet 10:03 Vitamin D and keto weight loss problems 13:50 Keto diet facts and fiction In this video, we’ll take a look at why some people struggle with weight loss on the keto diet or experience a keto weight loss plateau. To do the keto diet correctly, you must reduce your carb intake to 50 grams or less per day, especially if you’re working towards a goal such as weight loss, reducing chronic illness, increasing energy, or improving your health. Avoid these 13 common keto diet mistakes! 1. Don’t do dirty keto, a low-carb diet that doesn’t eliminate unhealthy ingredients. 2. Poor sleep increases blood sugar values to those of a prediabetic. It also increases cortisol levels, inhibits the release of growth hormone, and reduces fat burning. 3. Stress raises cortisol levels, which blocks the benefits of keto. 4. Overtraining can stifle weight loss! 5. Gallbladder and liver health are vital for fat breakdown and absorption, and critical for proper thyroid function. You won’t lose weight on keto until you address these issues first. 6. Your thyroid is responsible for metabolism and energy. Focus on iodine, selenium, and zinc intake for a healthy thyroid. 7. Weight loss on keto starts with a healthy gut. Try L. reuteri yogurt to restore gut health and lose weight. 8. Not getting enough sun is one of the most common keto weight loss problems. Vitamin D protects you from insulin resistance, and sunlight increases melatonin and serotonin. 9. The more atrophy you have, the less keto will work for weight loss. 10. Make sure you have realistic expectations and an accurate definition of normal. After the initial water weight loss when first starting keto, weight loss will vary from person to person. 11. Pair the keto diet with intermittent fasting. Eliminate snacking and only eat when you’re hungry. 12. Avoid cheat day! 13. Lower your dietary fat intake if you’re struggling to lose weight on keto. You may have heard rumors that the keto diet is dangerous, but this simply isn’t true and is often based on poor research. Some foods labeled as “zero sugar” still contain carbs. Check labels and make sure your keto weight loss plateau isn’t caused by hidden sugar consumption! Why Are We Subjecting Our Children to This?

Why are we feeding our kids ultra-processed foods? In 1948, the childhood obesity rate was less than 1%, and food allergies, asthma, and autism were virtually non-existent. Discover the detrimental health consequences of the ultra-processed food diet in this video. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Obesity, disease, and diet in 1948 3:46 Obesity in children 4:10 Ultra-processed foods 4:34 The problem with the ultra-processed food diet 6:07 Ultra-processed food calories today 6:29 Seed oils 7:00 Refined starches Download the FREE Dr. Berg Junk Food Meter App here: https://drbrg.co/4ngJiL1 Apple Download: https://drbrg.co/3JwV70J Android Download: https://drbrg.co/4mv0Bbd When my father was a child in 1948, he recalls a different way of life. Sugary cereals like Fruit Loops, Captain Crunch, and Fruity Pebbles did not line the aisles of the grocery store. Children did not have mid-morning snacks at school and were told not to spoil their appetites by eating before dinner. Saturated fats were not demonized as they are today. Lard and tallow were found in every kitchen, and red meat was a dietary staple. Most people had gardens and relied on the skill of canning to get them through the winter. Obesity and chronic disease in childhood were uncommon, while childhood obesity, food allergies, asthma, and autism plague the children of today! The largest category of ultra-processed foods are snack foods. The problem with snacking is that you spike insulin every time you eat. Carbohydrates create the most significant spike in insulin. Not only are we snacking, but we’re snacking on the worst foods! The pancreas is constantly working to pump out insulin to remove sugar from the blood. This eventually leads to insulin resistance, which is behind almost every chronic illness, including a fatty liver, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, inflammatory diseases, mood disorders, dementia, and more. In 1948, we did not have not have ultra-processed food calories. Today, 65% of the teenage diet comes from ultra-processed food calories. This number is around 50% for adults and 45% for toddlers. Seed oils, such as soy, corn, cottonseed, and canola, are the worst ultra-processed food ingredients. Around 25% to 30% of all our calories come from seed oils. Grain-based starches generate 220 billion dollars per year! Highly processed industrial starches such as modified food starch, modified cornstarch, and maltodextrin spike blood sugar—often higher than consuming sugar does! --- Learn more about your ad choices. Today we're going to talk about natural remedies for AIDS and HIV. I'm reading a book called "What really causes AIDS," by professor Harold D. Foster—it's fascinating because it involves nutrition. When you have HIV, over time, if the immune system is weak, it can shift to AIDS. AIDS is a condition where you don't really have an immune system anymore. This condition targets a key player in your immune system called the T helper cell. Without the T helper cells, your immune system can't work how it needs to. Without these cells, you can also develop serious secondary problems like tumors or cancer. Glutathione is the key antioxidant for all your cells, and it's intimately involved with your immune system. However, HIV depletes the precursors to make glutathione. If you were to build up these precursors, and therefore, your glutathione, you could potentially prevent the transition of HIV to AIDS. Other viruses use this mechanism, including hepatitis C, hepatitis B, and coxsackie. The precursors for glutathione are: • Selenium • Cysteine • Glutamine • Tryptophan A potential natural protocol for HIV and AIDS: • Selenium (400 mcg) • Cysteine • Glutamine • Tryptophan • NAC Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Manuel Suarez is going to share his incredible story and how he uses the keto diet and intermittent fasting as tools to deal with type 1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is a situation where you can’t produce insulin, which means you can’t regulate your blood sugar. A person with type 1 diabetes depends on insulin medication to keep their blood sugar from going too high. But, if you lower your carbohydrates, you can decrease your need for insulin. High blood sugar is unhealthy, but so is high insulin. The goal is to take the least amount of insulin possible to have normal blood sugar levels. Before keto and fasting, Manuel was taking around 40 units of fast-acting insulin a day and 25 units of long-acting insulin a day. After being on the keto diet and intermittent fasting, he only takes two to five units of fast-acting insulin daily and ten units of long-acting insulin daily. One of the components he attributes his success to is exercising regularly. What works best for him is a high-intensity workout for 30 minutes three to four times per week. A key tip to take away is that if you’re doing OMAD, try having your meal between 2 pm and 3 pm to maximize your results. I think this interview will encourage you and help answer some of your questions about type 1 diabetes in relation to keto and fasting. Enjoy! The DARK SIDE of Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha has many health benefits, but does it also come with side effects? Find out about the dark side of ashwagandha. 0:00 Introduction: What is ashwagandha? 0:14 Ashwagandha benefits 0:53 Should I take ashwagandha? 1:39 Side effects of ashwagandha 3:06 Taking ashwagandha In this video, we’re going to talk about the side effects and benefits of ashwagandha. Ashwagandha is a powerful herb that helps to reduce stress and anxiety. Along with stress management, ashwagandha has numerous potential health benefits, including the following: •Reduces nervousness •Helps reduce cortisol •Increases VO2 max •Increases testosterone •Improves sleep •Improves recovery •Lowers blood sugar •Helps improve insulin resistance However, there are some things to consider before taking ashwagandha. Avoid ashwagandha if you have a hyperthyroid condition like Graves' disease because ashwagandha speeds up the thyroid. Because it lowers blood pressure, it’s best to avoid ashwagandha if your blood pressure is already on the low side. If you have low cortisol, you won’t want to push it even lower with ashwagandha. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also avoid ashwagandha. Don't take ashwagandha if you’re sensitive to nightshades or have a genetic problem that causes you to have too much iron. If you take too much ashwagandha for too long, some people describe feeling no emotion or feeling numb. Most people who experience adverse ashwagandha side effects have taken it for too long and in high doses. Consider keeping your ashwagandha intake at around 600 mg daily, broken into two 300 mg doses. It’s also best to limit your intake to two months at a time. I Started Doing This… It Transformed Everything

What would happen if you drank lemon water for 30 days? In this video, we’ll look at the benefits of drinking lemon water daily and how a glass of lemon water in the morning can improve your health and vitality. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: What happens when you drink lemon water? 0:12 Lemon water in the morning 2:37 Lemon water benefits 2:47 Lemon water skin benefits 3:57 Lemon water and digestion 4:19 Lemon water for the immune system 4:48 Lemon juice and your teeth 5:18 Benefits of lemon peel With so much focus on high blood pressure, it’s essential not to overlook low blood pressure, which is often due to low blood volume. When you wake up in the morning, your blood volume is lowest. Low blood volume can cause dizziness when standing, poor exercise performance, and a decreased sense of well-being. Plain water in the morning can dehydrate you by diluting essential electrolytes, especially sodium, which is vital for healthy blood volume. Cortisol is highest at 8:00 a.m., and sodium is excellent for lowering cortisol, so salt is a great tool for a stress-free day. Himalayan sea salt is a great option, or try Baja Gold salt if you’re prone to high blood pressure. Fresh lemon juice is an excellent source of vitamin C, which is beneficial for the skin and is a potent antioxidant that supports the inside of the arteries. Opt for organic lemons or organic lemon juice. Lemon juice contains citric acid, which helps reduce the risk of kidney stones. Other benefits of lemon water include the following: •Reduces the incidence of gout •Helps phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification in the liver •Helps thin bile and reduce the incidence of gallstones •Supports digestion •Helps regulate cholesterol •Protects the insides of the arteries •Increases microbiome diversity •Potent antimicrobial properties •Increases absorption of non-heme iron If you drink lemon water daily, it's best to drink it with a straw to protect your tooth enamel. For added bioflavonoids, try blending an entire lemon with a glass of water and a pinch of salt! If salty lemon water is too tart for you, try adding a couple of drops of liquid stevia. For added benefits, you can also add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the mixture. Let’s talk about the top diseases that could really be nutritional deficiencies. If you have a disease, doctors don't typically do much of a deep dive into vitamin or mineral deficiencies. They tend to focus more on medications and treatments instead of causes like deficiencies. A lack of certain nutrients, like vitamins A, D, E, and so many more, can lead to debilitating health conditions. These deficiencies can cause problems with essentially every part of the body. So, can we create health without nutrients? No, I don’t think so. With nutrients being so important for your health, it makes sense that a lack of nutrients would be involved in disease. Many recommended foods are more likely to create deficiencies and destroy your health rather than build your health. A lot of foods your body needs are also left out of recommended diets. Here are a few examples of foods that are often left out of the most commonly suggested diets but are essential to support a healthy body: • Egg yolks • Animal protein and animal products • Red meat • Seafood • Fatty fish • Organ meats Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Tinnitus is ringing in the ears, and it can drive a person crazy. Today I want to cover some tips to get rid of tinnitus naturally. Tinnitus is a little bit mysterious and hasn’t been fully figured out. Typical treatments for tinnitus are medications called Gabapentin and Klonopin. These two medications both have a mechanism to increase GABA in the brain. GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter and slows down the central nervous system. An interesting study shows that people with tinnitus may have lowered GABA and upregulated glutamate. Glutamate stimulates the brain. The problem with GABA supplements is that they don’t cross the blood-brain barrier. This means they will have a difficult time penetrating into the brain to create any effect. However, an amino acid called taurine turns into GABA and can pass the blood-brain barrier. Just be sure to take taurine on an empty stomach. In addition to increasing GABA, it’s essential to inhibit glutamate. MSG and aspartame are high in glutamate, so it’s important to avoid foods containing these ingredients. Other sources of glutamate to avoid: • Hydrolyzed protein • Calcium caseinate • Yeast extract • Textured protein • Whey protein • Soy protein isolates • Soy sauce #tinnitus #tinnitus_solution #tinnitusrelief #tinnitusawareness Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. The Best Fix for Dry and Wrinkled Skin

Find out about the best remedy for dry, wrinkled hands that can visibly improve your skin naturally. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: The best remedy for dry, wrinkled hands 0:12 The problem with most moisturizers 0:42 Natural remedies for dry skin 0:53 The best moisturizer for dry skin 4:15 Hyaluronic acid dosage for dry skin In this video, I’m going to share the #1 remedy for dry hands and dry skin. Most moisturizers contain alcohol, which dries and dehydrates your skin. Your moisturizer also gets absorbed into your skin, then into your bloodstream and liver. There are many natural dry skin remedies that can help, such as vitamin E, coconut oil, and tallow, but the best remedy for dry skin is hyaluronic acid. Many of your cells make hyaluronic acid, which is also found in your skin and joints. Hyaluronic acid holds 1000 times its weight in water and can keep your skin looking youthful. It’s intimately involved in wound repair and can repair skin after a sunburn. As we age, our hyaluronic acid decreases. There are also health conditions like progeria that cause you to lose hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid can be injected, used topically, or taken orally. When taken orally, 2.5% of hyaluronic acid is absorbed, which can be enough to replace what you lose as you age. To get rid of dry, wrinkled hands and skin, take 200 mg of hyaluronic acid daily. You can also use it topically. Look for hyaluronic acid without alcohol, wet your hands, and apply a couple of drops. Rub your hands together to apply. You can also do this to your face. Also, focus on internal health to get rid of dry skin. Try Healthy Keto® to keep your skin looking healthy. Cones are receptors in the eye primarily used for detecting color, daylight, and fine detail. Cones have the most mitochondria-packed cells in the entire retina. Mitochondrial loss related to aging can affect vision. As you age, you might notice the following stages of vision loss: 1. Contrast sensitivity loss 2. Need more light 3. See more glare in the dark 4. Age-related macular degeneration—can't see fine detail Cataracts occur when the lens of the eye becomes cloudy. This is often related to diet. Glaucoma is characterized by pressure in the eyes. High doses of vitamin D3 have been found to help reverse glaucoma. Your eyes are very sensitive to blood sugar problems, which is why one of the leading causes of blindness is diabetes. Improve your eyesight and support eye health with the following eye health tips: 1. Red light therapy 2. Regular exercise, intermittent fasting, keto, adequate sleep 3. Focus on far vision 4. Combat genetic susceptibility to poor vision with vitamin A 5. Increase lutein and zeaxanthin 6. Get your body into autophagy to eliminate floaters 7. Increase vitamin D and B3 for glaucoma 8. #1 Vitamin D THREAT You Absolutely Must Know!

Vitamin D is vital for your health, but is too much vitamin D dangerous? Find out about some of the negative vitamin D side effects and how to avoid them. Learn how to access potent vitamin D health benefits while minimizing vitamin D health risks. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Vitamin D dangers 0:10 The Coimbra Protocol 0:41 Normal vitamin D levels 0:58 Vitamin D hypercalcemia 1:08 The dangers of low vitamin D 2:10 How much vitamin D do you need? 4:18 Avoiding vitamin D mistakes Learn more about vitamin D with this FREE resource: https://drbrg.co/3IKN0xk Learn more about magnesium, an essential cofactor to vitamin D, here: https://drbrg.co/4lXMBGk Dr. Coimbra of Brazil is a pioneer in vitamin D research and developed the Coimbra Protocol, in which he treats his patients with high doses of vitamin D. This protocol has been very successful in resolving autoimmune conditions, with some of his patients taking up to 200,000 IU of vitamin D daily! Vitamin D deficiency is not always easy to detect. Blood tests do not reflect what's going on deeper in your cells. Taking too much vitamin D can be dangerous if you have hypercalcemia, or too much calcium in the blood. This can lead to kidney stones. A lack of vitamin D is also dangerous! If you’re deficient in vitamin D, you are more susceptible to autoimmune diseases, which is currently the world’s largest health problem. Vitamin D is involved in over 2500 genes and is intimately involved in every part of your immune system. You need a maintenance dose of 8,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily for healthy immune function. Many people can not get adequate vitamin D from the sun or their food. Genetic factors can contribute to vitamin D resistance. Low magnesium, zinc, and vitamin K2 can also inhibit the absorption of vitamin D. Certain viruses downgrade vitamin D receptors, weakening your immune function. Our RDAs are also far too low. There are several ways to maximize vitamin D benefits while also preventing adverse vitamin D side effects. Take the cofactors magnesium, zinc, and vitamin K2 with vitamin D.
