Keto and IF Plan Download Here: https://drbrg.co/ketoIFplan The #1 Best Exercise Hack for Maximum Results: ▶️ https://youtu.be/JNENcGfFHA8 0:00 Introduction: How to overcome procrastination 0:56 Does dieting ruin your metabolism? 2:00 Are you on the right diet? 3:03 Why can’t I lose weight? 4:35 I don’t have time to diet and exercise Let’s talk about procrastination. I used to be a professional procrastinator, so what changed? Dieting slows your metabolism a little bit more each time you do it, especially if the diet is low-calorie or high in carbohydrates. Dieting and losing fat go against our body’s natural survival mechanisms—your body doesn’t like to give up fat. When diets don’t work, people tend to mislabel themselves as lazy or as a procrastinator. But they’ve just been on the wrong diet plan. When your diet program is working, you’ll see results, and you’ll stick to it. If you’re on the right diet and you’re burning fat, you may not notice weight loss at first, but you will notice two things: 1. Your cravings will go away 2. Your appetite will go away This happens because you’re burning fat even when you’re not eating, which makes it much easier to stick to the keto plan. If you’re not losing weight right away on keto, you need to consider this key weight loss principle: you don’t lose weight then get healthy—you have to get healthy so you can lose weight. Various health conditions affect weight loss and also take time to heal. But, if you’re cravings and appetite go away, the diet is working. If you think you don’t have enough time to put into diet and exercise, you may want to take a closer look at your daily routine. As you plan out your day, put exercise and preparing healthy meals at the top of your to-do list as necessities. You may also need to change up your workout to fit your body's needs. The BIG Mistake Counting Carbs on Keto (Ketogenic Diet)

Free PDF Guide - Keto Strategy Tips 👉 https://drbrg.co/4baO3iO Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. All you need to do is focus on lowering your carbs, right? Wrong. Find out how to avoid this huge mistake when counting carbs on keto. Healthy Ketogenic Diet Basics Step 1: Intermittent Fasting and Fat Burning ▶️https://youtu.be/vMZfyEy_jpI Healthy Ketogenic Diet Basics Step 2: WHAT TO EAT ▶️ https://youtu.be/mBqpaAKtnXE 0:00 Introduction: One of the biggest keto mistakes 0:25 Counting carbs on keto 0:52 Protein and insulin 1:32 Foods that don’t trigger insulin 1:55 The insulin index explained 9:12 Check out this video on the glycemic index and glycemic load! Let’s talk about the biggest mistake you can make when counting carbs on keto. Understanding this crucial information will help you achieve better results on the keto plan. On the keto diet, you reduce your carbs to below 50 grams. We do this because carbs increase insulin, and insulin blocks ketosis. If you’re not in ketosis, you’re not doing the ketogenic diet correctly. But carbs aren't the only factor to consider. You need to remember that protein can also increase insulin, especially if you have insulin resistance, prediabetes, or diabetes. It doesn’t affect insulin as much as carbohydrates, but it can still raise your insulin. Only two foods don’t trigger insulin: fat and fiber. When combined with other foods, fat and fiber can also help buffer the effect of insulin. A blood sugar level between 70 and 80 is ideal. If your blood sugar is too low or too high, you’re going to experience a range of symptoms and potential health problems. But, if your blood sugar level is perfect, you’re going to feel fantastic. The insulin index is the scale of foods that trigger insulin. Understanding the insulin index is crucial—it’s one of the most important things to focus on when trying to achieve health. The lower the food is on the index, the better it is. Stick to consuming foods lower on the insulin index for more success on keto—don't only focus on counting carbs. Find out about the worst protein in the world. You won’t want to eat this! DATA: https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/nursing-and-health-professions/lysinoalanine 0:00 Introduction: The worst protein in the world 0:56 What is textured vegetable protein? 1:52 How is textured vegetable protein made? 4:26 Protein poisoning In this video, we’re going to talk about one of the worst protein sources in the world. After having a horrible reaction to some “chicken wings” that I ate, I called to find out what was in them. It turns out they were plant-based chicken wings made with textured vegetable protein. Textured vegetable protein, or textured soy protein, is the worst protein in the world. Soy or cottonseed is used as the “vegetable” to make this protein. Textured vegetable protein was invented in 1960 as a way to use the waste produced from seed oils. It has been used in veggie burgers, fake meat products, cereals, and many other food products. Textured vegetable protein is an ultra-processed ingredient. To make it, oil, nutrients, and fiber are removed from the soybean using heat and chemicals like hexane. There are no long-term safety studies or upper limit on hexane established by the FDA. Chronic hexane toxicity is a condition caused by inhaling hexane, so what happens when you ingest it? Over 95% of textured vegetable protein is GMO, and when consumed, it robs nutrients from your liver. It’s very similar to soy protein isolates. Any time you consume pure protein without fat, you are creating stress in your body, especially if the protein doesn't contain key nutrients like fat-soluble vitamins A, E, D, and K. Today, I’m going to share how to get rid of acid reflux naturally. Acid reflux is a situation where you have acid being regurgitated into the esophagus. The top cause of acid reflux is a deficiency of acid in the stomach. The common treatments for acid reflux or heartburn may help someone feel better temporarily, but they aren't good long-term solutions. They also come with side effects. It’s crucial that the stomach has the right pH. The normal pH of the stomach should be between one and three, which is very acidic. We need high acidity in the stomach to help break down proteins, absorb vitamins and minerals, and kill pathogens. The hydrochloric acid in your stomach helps with the release of bile from the gallbladder. It also helps stimulate the pancreas, which supports digestion. You need certain nutrients to make a sufficient amount of hydrochloric acid, including zinc, chlorides, and potassium. It’s also important to keep in mind that having too much calcium can cause GERD. How to stop acid reflux naturally: 1. Take betaine hydrochloride 2. Get plenty of potassium and sea salt 3. Get plenty of zinc 4. Chew your food longer 5. The Cause of Your Sinus Stuffiness (Congestion) Is Hiding in Your Pillow

Find out about a surprising cause of unexplained sinus congestion and snoring. The cause of chronic nasal congestion could be hiding in your pillow! DATA: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2005/10/051015093046.htm 0:00 Introduction: A hidden cause of sinus congestion 0:27 Microbes in your pillow 1:10 Rhinitis 1:35 How do I know if my pillow is causing my sinus congestion? 2:07 Easy remedy for sinus congestion Today, we’re going to talk about one of the hidden causes of chronic sinus congestion. Microorganisms in your pillow could be causing sinus pressure, nasal congestion, difficulty breathing, and snoring! The average pillow has 7000 spores of 4 to 16 different types of fungus, especially if your pillow is made of synthetic material. The fungus found in your pillow is a frequent cause of rhinitis, or inflammation of the sinuses. The fungus feeds on nitrogen and dead skin—and can affect the respiratory system. Fungus spores are activated by moisture, so your sweat, drool, and wet hair intensify the problem. Spores can even grow roots into the fibers of your pillow. Here are 4 signs that fungus in your pillow may be causing sinus congestion: 1. Discoloration on the pillow 2. Moisture on the pillow 3. Odors from the pillow 4. Sudden change in mucus membranes (difficulty breathing, stuffy nose) To solve this problem, wash your pillow at least once monthly and ensure it’s completely dried. It’s also essential to clean your pillowcase at least once per week. Your pillow won’t last forever, so be sure to replace it once yearly. There is a state in Mexico where people consume on average 2.2 liters of Coca-Cola every day. It’s even been incorporated into certain religious rituals, and 3% of babies in Chiapas, Mexico, are given Coca-Cola. Consuming 2.2 liters of Coca-Cola a day is equivalent to consuming 208 grams of sugar or 52 tsp of sugar a day. In Chiapas, Mexico, heart disease is the #1 cause of death, and diabetes is the second highest cause of death. Coca-Cola contains fructose, which has a similar effect on the liver to consuming alcohol. It also has glucose, which will delete important nutrients and can lead to many different health issues. It’s not just sugar that you have to worry about—Coca-Cola also contains phosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid is very corrosive and can cause cavities, an increased risk for osteoporosis, and certain nutrient deficiencies. There is also a lot of caffeine in Coca-Cola, as well as coloring. The caramel coloring creates a certain compound, which is basically damaged protein. Damaged proteins are involved in many different chronic degenerative diseases. Reset Your Gut After Antibiotics (5 Simple Steps)

Broad-spectrum antibiotics can take a serious toll on your gut microbiome, causing problems that can last for years. Find it here: https://drbrg.co/4yRQIKx Gut microbiome recovery after a single course of antibiotics doesn’t happen as quickly as you might think. Unfortunately, some people may never fully recover their original gut microbiome. People are often told that their gut bacteria will return to normal within 4 to 8 weeks, but this isn’t always the case. The bacteria that return may be different, and antibiotic resistance genes can persist in the gut microbiome. A healthy gut microbiome is essential for overall health and well-being. From your immune system to your mood, gut health affects nearly every aspect of your health. Gut microbes also play a key role in serotonin production, which is why many people report mood changes after antibiotic use. Probiotics can be helpful when taking antibiotics. Look for strains that can survive stomach acid, and take them simultaneously alongside antibiotics. Sauerkraut is one of the best fermented foods for gut health. Other beneficial fermented foods that can help support a healthy gut microbiome include yogurt and kefir. The Facts About Sugar - What They Don't Want You To Know!

These little-known facts about sugar will change the way you think about it. Check this out! DATA: https://arphysmed.com/2017/10/the-amazing-similarities-between-this-toxic-sugar-and-alcohol/ 0:00 Introduction: The truth about sugar 0:10 Sugar facts 9:35 Learn more about healthy sugar alternatives! Today I want to cover several interesting facts about sugar that you may have never heard before. Interesting facts about sugar: 1. It’s not just the amount of carbohydrates that matters. It’s also the quality of the carbs. You have to consume less than 50 grams of net carbs per day to get into ketosis. But, there is a big difference between consuming 50 grams of sugar carbs vs. 50 grams of carbs in general. For example, 50 grams of carbohydrates from sugar would be equivalent to a twelve-ounce orange soda. But 50 grams of net carbs from vegetables is equivalent to about 42 cups of salad. 2. The liver treats fructose like alcohol. Most types of sugar are really fifty percent glucose and fifty percent fructose. When you check your blood sugar, you’re really only looking at the glucose. Fructose doesn’t affect the blood sugar by that much. Instead, it affects the liver. Even though fructose doesn’t raise your blood sugar levels, it can create other serious issues. These issues can include a fatty liver, high triglycerides, high cholesterol, free radical damage, inflammation, insulin resistance, and diabetes. 3. Just because it’s from beets doesn’t mean it’s healthy. Most of the sugar used in the US is from beets and is genetically modified, so there are traces of glyphosate. There is an in-depth process to produce beet sugar, and the end product is refined and overly processed. 4. The chemistry of glucose is similar to vitamin C. This means that glucose and vitamin C are competitive to a certain degree. If you consume sugar, your body won’t absorb vitamin C. They Misunderstood ADHD Completely — And I Can Prove It

ADHD is not genetic! In this video, we’ll examine the profound connection between ADHD and diet. Discover the foods that worsen ADHD symptoms, the relationship between ADHD and sugar intake, and the best ADHD diet to address the nutritional deficiencies that may be causing some of the symptoms in the first place. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: ADHD and poor nutrition 0:13 ADHD diagnosis and ADHD symptoms 1:54 Side effects of ADHD medications 2:04 ADHD causes 3:32 ADHD and food 4:24 ADHD and nutritional deficiencies 6:20 The best ADHD diet DATA: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24934907 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17825405 https://www.southampton.ac.uk/news/20... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21961... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25181... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18431... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12532... https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is typically diagnosed by identifying the following ADHD symptoms: •Makes mistakes easily •Lack of attention to detail •Does not listen when spoken to directly •Doesn’t complete tasks •Cannot play quietly •Problems organizing •Loses things •Frequent fidgeting •Too much energy •Talks too much Many ADHD symptoms are normal childhood behaviors, and a poor diet can exaggerate all of them. ADHD is often treated with Adderall and Ritalin, which make lots of money for Big Pharma. The definition of ADHD has been dramatically expanded to make it more diagnosable, putting more people on medication. A double-blinded study showed that after 36 months, any benefits from Adderall faded to zero. It also has side effects such as aggressive behavior or a dulled mood. ADHD involves a metabolic problem with the prefrontal cortex of the brain. These metabolic changes affect the way the brain metabolizes fuel. If the brain is starved of fuel, you may exhibit symptoms like a lack of attention and hyperactivity. Chemicals like food dyes, artificial sweeteners, sugar, starch, and MSG tremendously impact behavior. Increasing dopamine can improve focus and feelings of calmness. Foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and cheese are high in the amino acid L-tyrosine, the precursor to dopamine. Research has shown that micronutrients, especially B6, magnesium, and zinc, can significantly decrease ADHD symptoms. Omega-3 fatty acids and fish oils can also improve symptoms without side effects. Vitamin B1 is one of the most overlooked nutrients, especially in psychiatric conditions. When a child consumes a lot of glucose, vitamin B1 is depleted, inhibiting the brain’s ability to utilize fuel. If an adult or child is experiencing ADHD symptoms, they should switch to a low-carb diet so their body can run on ketones. Ketones will fuel the neurons and restore a sense of calmness and increased attention span. Dementia is not an inevitable part of aging. Many of the risk factors linked to cognitive decline, memory loss, and dementia are connected to lifestyle, nutrition, metabolic health, and chronic inflammation. High-carb diets and vitamin deficiencies are often contributing factors. Nutrient deficiencies, insulin resistance, poor sleep, environmental toxins, hormone imbalances, and gut health can all affect cognitive function and increase dementia risk. Taking a proactive approach to brain health can help preserve cognitive function, support healthy aging, and reduce the risk of dementia over time. Certain genetic factors can increase your risk for dementia, but they are not in control! Focus on a healthy diet and lifestyle changes for your best defense against dementia.
