The Cause of Your Sinus Stuffiness (Congestion) Is Hiding in Your Pillow

Find out about a surprising cause of unexplained sinus congestion and snoring. The cause of chronic nasal congestion could be hiding in your pillow! DATA: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2005/10/051015093046.htm 0:00 Introduction: A hidden cause of sinus congestion 0:27 Microbes in your pillow 1:10 Rhinitis 1:35 How do I know if my pillow is causing my sinus congestion? 2:07 Easy remedy for sinus congestion Today, we’re going to talk about one of the hidden causes of chronic sinus congestion. Microorganisms in your pillow could be causing sinus pressure, nasal congestion, difficulty breathing, and snoring! The average pillow has 7000 spores of 4 to 16 different types of fungus, especially if your pillow is made of synthetic material. The fungus found in your pillow is a frequent cause of rhinitis, or inflammation of the sinuses. The fungus feeds on nitrogen and dead skin—and can affect the respiratory system. Fungus spores are activated by moisture, so your sweat, drool, and wet hair intensify the problem. Spores can even grow roots into the fibers of your pillow. Here are 4 signs that fungus in your pillow may be causing sinus congestion: 1. Discoloration on the pillow 2. Moisture on the pillow 3. Odors from the pillow 4. Sudden change in mucus membranes (difficulty breathing, stuffy nose) To solve this problem, wash your pillow at least once monthly and ensure it’s completely dried. It’s also essential to clean your pillowcase at least once per week. Your pillow won’t last forever, so be sure to replace it once yearly. There is a state in Mexico where people consume on average 2.2 liters of Coca-Cola every day. It’s even been incorporated into certain religious rituals, and 3% of babies in Chiapas, Mexico, are given Coca-Cola. Consuming 2.2 liters of Coca-Cola a day is equivalent to consuming 208 grams of sugar or 52 tsp of sugar a day. In Chiapas, Mexico, heart disease is the #1 cause of death, and diabetes is the second highest cause of death. Coca-Cola contains fructose, which has a similar effect on the liver to consuming alcohol. It also has glucose, which will delete important nutrients and can lead to many different health issues. It’s not just sugar that you have to worry about—Coca-Cola also contains phosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid is very corrosive and can cause cavities, an increased risk for osteoporosis, and certain nutrient deficiencies. There is also a lot of caffeine in Coca-Cola, as well as coloring. The caramel coloring creates a certain compound, which is basically damaged protein. Damaged proteins are involved in many different chronic degenerative diseases. Reset Your Gut After Antibiotics (5 Simple Steps)

Broad-spectrum antibiotics can take a serious toll on your gut microbiome, causing problems that can last for years. Find it here: https://drbrg.co/4yRQIKx Gut microbiome recovery after a single course of antibiotics doesn’t happen as quickly as you might think. Unfortunately, some people may never fully recover their original gut microbiome. People are often told that their gut bacteria will return to normal within 4 to 8 weeks, but this isn’t always the case. The bacteria that return may be different, and antibiotic resistance genes can persist in the gut microbiome. A healthy gut microbiome is essential for overall health and well-being. From your immune system to your mood, gut health affects nearly every aspect of your health. Gut microbes also play a key role in serotonin production, which is why many people report mood changes after antibiotic use. Probiotics can be helpful when taking antibiotics. Look for strains that can survive stomach acid, and take them simultaneously alongside antibiotics. Sauerkraut is one of the best fermented foods for gut health. Other beneficial fermented foods that can help support a healthy gut microbiome include yogurt and kefir. The Facts About Sugar - What They Don't Want You To Know!

Get access to my FREE resources 👉 https://drbrg.co/3UdU1bY Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. These little-known facts about sugar will change the way you think about it. Check this out! DATA: https://arphysmed.com/2017/10/the-amazing-similarities-between-this-toxic-sugar-and-alcohol/ 0:00 Introduction: The truth about sugar 0:10 Sugar facts 9:35 Learn more about healthy sugar alternatives! Today I want to cover several interesting facts about sugar that you may have never heard before. Interesting facts about sugar: 1. It’s not just the amount of carbohydrates that matters. It’s also the quality of the carbs. You have to consume less than 50 grams of net carbs per day to get into ketosis. But, there is a big difference between consuming 50 grams of sugar carbs vs. 50 grams of carbs in general. For example, 50 grams of carbohydrates from sugar would be equivalent to a twelve-ounce orange soda. But 50 grams of net carbs from vegetables is equivalent to about 42 cups of salad. 2. The liver treats fructose like alcohol. Most types of sugar are really fifty percent glucose and fifty percent fructose. When you check your blood sugar, you’re really only looking at the glucose. Fructose doesn’t affect the blood sugar by that much. Instead, it affects the liver. Even though fructose doesn’t raise your blood sugar levels, it can create other serious issues. These issues can include a fatty liver, high triglycerides, high cholesterol, free radical damage, inflammation, insulin resistance, and diabetes. 3. Just because it’s from beets doesn’t mean it’s healthy. Most of the sugar used in the US is from beets and is genetically modified, so there are traces of glyphosate. There is an in-depth process to produce beet sugar, and the end product is refined and overly processed. 4. The chemistry of glucose is similar to vitamin C. This means that glucose and vitamin C are competitive to a certain degree. If you consume sugar, your body won’t absorb vitamin C. They Misunderstood ADHD Completely — And I Can Prove It

ADHD is not genetic! In this video, we’ll examine the profound connection between ADHD and diet. Discover the foods that worsen ADHD symptoms, the relationship between ADHD and sugar intake, and the best ADHD diet to address the nutritional deficiencies that may be causing some of the symptoms in the first place. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: ADHD and poor nutrition 0:13 ADHD diagnosis and ADHD symptoms 1:54 Side effects of ADHD medications 2:04 ADHD causes 3:32 ADHD and food 4:24 ADHD and nutritional deficiencies 6:20 The best ADHD diet DATA: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24934907 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17825405 https://www.southampton.ac.uk/news/20... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21961... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25181... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18431... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12532... https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is typically diagnosed by identifying the following ADHD symptoms: •Makes mistakes easily •Lack of attention to detail •Does not listen when spoken to directly •Doesn’t complete tasks •Cannot play quietly •Problems organizing •Loses things •Frequent fidgeting •Too much energy •Talks too much Many ADHD symptoms are normal childhood behaviors, and a poor diet can exaggerate all of them. ADHD is often treated with Adderall and Ritalin, which make lots of money for Big Pharma. The definition of ADHD has been dramatically expanded to make it more diagnosable, putting more people on medication. A double-blinded study showed that after 36 months, any benefits from Adderall faded to zero. It also has side effects such as aggressive behavior or a dulled mood. ADHD involves a metabolic problem with the prefrontal cortex of the brain. These metabolic changes affect the way the brain metabolizes fuel. If the brain is starved of fuel, you may exhibit symptoms like a lack of attention and hyperactivity. Chemicals like food dyes, artificial sweeteners, sugar, starch, and MSG tremendously impact behavior. Increasing dopamine can improve focus and feelings of calmness. Foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and cheese are high in the amino acid L-tyrosine, the precursor to dopamine. Research has shown that micronutrients, especially B6, magnesium, and zinc, can significantly decrease ADHD symptoms. Omega-3 fatty acids and fish oils can also improve symptoms without side effects. Vitamin B1 is one of the most overlooked nutrients, especially in psychiatric conditions. When a child consumes a lot of glucose, vitamin B1 is depleted, inhibiting the brain’s ability to utilize fuel. If an adult or child is experiencing ADHD symptoms, they should switch to a low-carb diet so their body can run on ketones. Ketones will fuel the neurons and restore a sense of calmness and increased attention span. Dementia is not an inevitable part of aging. Many of the risk factors linked to cognitive decline, memory loss, and dementia are connected to lifestyle, nutrition, metabolic health, and chronic inflammation. High-carb diets and vitamin deficiencies are often contributing factors. Nutrient deficiencies, insulin resistance, poor sleep, environmental toxins, hormone imbalances, and gut health can all affect cognitive function and increase dementia risk. The SURPRISING #1 Cause of High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is not a disease! Learn how to lower blood pressure with dietary changes and increased intake of specific nutrients that act as natural blood pressure remedies in the body. Address the root cause of hypertension rather than just treating the symptoms. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: What causes high blood pressure? 1:15 Blood pressure explained 2:10 How to lower blood pressure and address nutritional deficiencies 2:38 Natural blood pressure remedies 4:33 Fixing insulin resistance to lower blood pressure Over 90% of hypertension is labeled as having an unknown cause, which is very profitable for drug companies. The endothelial layer of your arteries has insulin receptors. When these receptors are damaged, your blood pressure can increase. Too much insulin allows too much calcium to enter the cells, so calcium channel blockers are often used to lower high blood pressure. However, the connection between insulin resistance and high blood pressure is usually ignored. A protective shield called the glycocalyx typically covers the endothelial tissue on the inside of your arteries. When this shield becomes damaged, it can cause a cascade of problems, including cellular damage, inflammation, calcium buildup, and excess clotting. The glycocalyx is vulnerable to damage from glucose and fructose. A low-carb diet and intermittent fasting can help you get healthy and lower your blood pressure quickly. Insulin resistance creates serious nutritional deficiencies that must also be addressed to lower blood pressure. To help reverse high blood pressure, increase the following nutrients: •Vitamin D •Magnesium glycinate •Potassium •Sulfur To fix insulin resistance and lower blood pressure, it’s important to avoid carbohydrates, sugar, starch, and seed oils. Remember that it may take a few weeks to notice blood pressure changes. A food log can help keep you on track. If your blood pressure is decreasing, but you notice that the top number remains high, focus on reducing stress. Ensure you sleep enough, take long walks, or try ashwagandha to lower your stress levels. Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. His use of “doctor” or “Dr.” in relation to himself solely refers to that degree. THIS Pill Leads to Dementia!!!

Drug interactions can cause more complex side effects than the side effects of a single drug, and can even contribute to dementia. Join me as I interview Hal Cranmer, owner of several assisted living homes, and Dr. Roshani Sanghani, board-certified endocrinologist, to discuss the side effects of multiple medications. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Drugs that trigger dementia 1:51 Welcome, Hal Cranmer! 2:44 Hal’s dietary protocol 6:32 Adverse drug reactions 6:49 Welcome, Dr. Roshani Sanghani! 11:00 Common side effects of medication 12:37 What causes chronic disease? Assisted Living Home: https://aparadiseforparents.com/ Epocrates: https://www.epocrates.com/ Taking the following drugs for an extended period of time may potentially increase your risk for dementia. 1. Drugs that block acetylcholine This includes Benadryl, certain drugs for depression, and drugs that treat overactive bladder. 2. Benzodiazepine Drugs such as Valium and Xanax treat anxiety, insomnia, and seizures, affecting the central nervous system and brain. 3. PPIs Proton pump inhibitors, such as Prilosec and Nexium, that treat indigestion and heartburn may increase the risk of cognitive decline. 4. Opioids Morphine, oxycodone, and other opioids that sedate the brain significantly affect cognitive function and may lead to dementia. Hal Cranmer owns several assisted living homes and sees first-hand the consequences of giving someone several drugs at once. Many residents in assisted living homes are on 20 to 30 medications. In Hal’s facilities, he focuses on providing his residents with a healthy diet and eliminating sugar and ultra-processed foods. Many of Hal’s residents have been able to get off their medication. Multiple medications often involve multiple doctors with multiple viewpoints. Each doctor focuses only on specific parts and functions of the body rather than the body as a whole. Adverse drug reactions are unexpected side effects directly caused by drugs. Around 90% are underreported. Adverse drug reactions are responsible for 10% of all hospital visits and are the 4th leading cause of death. Dr. Roshani Sanghani, a board-certified endocrinologist, uses epocrates.com to help keep track of drug interactions. She points out the problem of specialists focusing on and prescribing treatment for one body part and not considering the patients’ other medications. The biggest contributor to chronic disease is diet. Medications are often prescribed to treat the symptoms caused by consuming ultra-processed foods. A healthy diet can turn this cycle around. How to Grow Thicker and Shinier Hair

This one superfood is the key to hair growth and healthy hair! In this video, we’ll cover 4 superfoods for hair growth, including the most important food for hair health. Add these nutrient-rich foods for hair to your diet today! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: The best foods for hair growth 0:50 Vitamin D3 and hair loss prevention 2:24 The #1 food for hair growth 2:54 Iron and hair health Today, we’re going to talk about the top foods for hair growth. Number 4 is the most important! 1. Bamboo shoots are high in trace minerals, potassium, and silica—essential for building hair protein. Silica makes hair strong and elastic and also prevents breakage and brittleness. Silica supports skin, joint, and bone health as well! 2. Wild-caught salmon is an excellent source of protein and is loaded with nutrition. It’s also one of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids. Wild-caught salmon is a potent source of vitamin D3, which can improve nearly every problem with hair loss. Vitamin D controls the hair follicle and can activate dormant hair follicle stem cells. 3. Egg yolks are loaded with biotin, vital for keratin production. They also contain all of the fat-soluble nutrients that are essential for hair growth and hair health. Egg yolks are a rich source of cholesterol, a precursor for the hormones necessary for hair growth. Cholesterol increases hair shine and luster and strengthens the hair shaft. Egg yolks contain vitamin D and sulfur, which supports a healthy scalp. 4. Grass-fed liver contains concentrated amounts of almost every nutrient. It’s high in iron, vital for oxygen transport to the scalp. One of the most common causes of hair shedding is iron deficiency. An iron deficiency can be caused by low iron or a copper deficiency. Copper is vital for the proper function of iron, and beef liver is loaded with it! It also contains zinc, which is essential in the appropriate ratio to copper. Zinc is necessary in the formation of hair and protein synthesis. Beef liver also contains folate and vitamin B12, which can reduce graying. The nutrients in beef liver are bioavailable, so your body can easily absorb them. Beef liver contains the active, bioavailable form of vitamin A and biotin. It’s best to get biotin from a food source rather than a supplement. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. #1 Best Food to Unblock Arteries

Find out about the #1 best food in the world to help unclog arteries and prevent a heart attack or a stroke. This food works to clean arteries naturally and doesn’t come with negative side effects. Find out how to clean your arteries and improve your cardiovascular health with this one food today! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: The best food for clogged arteries 0:10 Aspirin to prevent heart disease 0:56 Blocked arteries and heart attacks 2:11 How to clean arteries naturally with EPA 2:50 EPA benefits 4:30 The best food for clogged arteries 5:03 Vitamin D benefits DATA: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles...https://www.sciencedirect.com/science... Aspirin helps prevent heart attacks by thinning the blood and reducing clot formation. A blood clot causes 80% of all heart attacks and strokes. While Aspirin has helped people, it does come with side effects and may not be for everyone. Surprisingly, 50% of all heart attacks occur between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., likely due to higher levels of cortisol in the morning. Both cortisol and adrenaline can increase clotting. EPA, an omega-3 fatty acid, acts as a natural blood thinner without the negative side effects. Research has shown that EPA can thin the blood comparably to low-dose Aspirin. EPA can stabilize vulnerable arterial plaquing by decreasing inflammation. One 2019 study found that people who consumed EPA experienced a significant decrease in plaquing, decreased inflammation, and decreased cardiovascular events. It can also positively affect your mood by reducing cortisol and adrenaline. EPA helps prevent blocked arteries by making your platelets less sticky. Salmon, mackerel, fatty fish, and fish oil contain EPA, but there’s a better source! Cod liver oil or cod liver is the best food to unclog your arteries naturally. Along with EPA, cod liver oil contains vitamins A and D. The active form of vitamin A, retinol, helps to repair the body’s internal tissues. It’s also a potent anti-inflammatory and can help decrease atherosclerotic plaquing. In one study, out of 1000 compounds, vitamin D was the most effective at preventing damage to the internal layer of the arteries. Vitamin D increases nitric oxide and the stiffness of the arteries. It’s a potent anti-inflammatory, stabilizes plaque, prevents rupture, and decreases arterial calcification. Today, we're going to talk about the signs and symptoms of iodine deficiency. Many people have low iodine. You're likely iodine deficient unless you consume shellfish, seaweed, sea kelp, or vegetables grown on the coast. The level of iodine in your body really depends on the level of iodine in the food you eat and the soil it's grown in. If you're deficient in iodine, you could end up with a hypothyroid condition. The top symptoms of hypothyroidism include: • Swelling in the lower part of the neck • Difficulty losing weight • Dry hair and dry skin • Thinned hair • Constipation Overlooked signs of an iodine deficiency: 1. Estrogen dominance. Iodine helps regulate estrogen and helps prevent estrogen dominance. It also supports detoxification. 2. High cortisol levels. Iodine helps normalize cortisol levels. 3. A hypothyroid condition. Hypothyroidism can cause the cholesterol in your body to be elevated but unusable for making vitamin D, cell membranes, and bile. 4. Side effects when consuming soy products. Iodine helps buffer the estrogen effects of consuming soy products. 5. Hashimoto's. You still need iodine if you have Hashimoto's, but not excess iodine. You may also need selenium, zinc, vitamin D, and myo-inositol. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Vitamin D’s most important role is helping regulate the immune system. Your immune system protects against viruses, fungi, yeast, bacteria, and abnormal cells, while also helping distinguish between healthy and unhealthy cells. Every major immune cell involved in this process depends on vitamin D. Rather than simply creating a stronger immune system, vitamin D helps support normal immune function and a balanced immune response. Vitamin D is especially important for the immune cells in your gut, where a large portion of the body’s immune system resides. Some people with adequate vitamin D levels still develop autoimmune diseases. Chronic stress is one factor that may influence immune function by increasing cortisol, which can suppress the immune system. Low vitamin D levels combined with chronic stress may further affect immune function. Around 25% of people have vitamin D receptor resistance, which can affect how their bodies respond to vitamin D. This may help explain why some people require more vitamin D than others.
