Let’s talk about the vagus nerve and digestion. One important function of the vagus nerve is regulating the hydrochloric acid in your stomach. A problem with the vagus nerve can lead to a cascade of digestive problems and health issues. Acetylcholine is the main neurotransmitter involved in the vagus nerve. Acetylcholine needs vitamin B1, but a deficiency of B1 is a common problem. If you’re deficient in vitamin B1, your vagus nerve can’t make the hydrochloric acid you need. A lack of hydrochloric acid can potentially lead to an increased risk of various health concerns, including: • GERD • Acid reflux • Heartburn • Hoarseness • Problems digesting protein • Bloating • Constipation • Allergies • A lack of mineral absorption • Anemia • H. pylori • Gastritis • Ulcers • Stomach cancer • SIBO • A lack of bile • Gas • Diarrhea • Inflammation • Leaky gut • Immune problems • Autoimmune problems • Cognitive problems • Mood problems Consider taking natural vitamin B1 immediately. You can get it from nutritional yeast or a natural supplement. To increase hydrochloric acid naturally, try taking betaine hydrochloride. If you have gastritis or ulcers, you may want to take zinc carnosine, but if you have SIBO, garlic may be beneficial. For stomach inflammation, try a carnivore diet. #vitaminb1 #vitamin #vitamindeficiency #deficiency #digestion #digestiveproblem #thiamine #b1 #bvitamins Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. This Could Rescue Your Life (1 in 4 People Have This Silent Killer Disease)

One in 4 people is infected with this silent killer disease that’s deadlier than the plague. You may even have this infection! Find out about this deadly microbial threat and how to stay healthy so you don’t become the next victim. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Infectious disease deadlier than the plague 1:30 Latent infections 2:59 Tuberculosis facts 4:39 Tuberculosis and vitamin D 7:38 Immune system function 8:20 Sun exposure and infrared rays Many people are infected with a disease that’s worse than the plague! The plague killed 200 million people, and in total, this bacterium has killed 1 billion! It’s the world’s deadliest infectious disease and kills more people than HIV and malaria combined. It kills around 1.3 million people each year, yet you don't hear much about it. Latent infections such as herpes, EBV, CMV, HPV, and Hepatitis B and C are able to go in and out of remission. Today, we’re going to talk about the pathogen that gives you tuberculosis. Tuberculosis (TB) doesn’t evade the immune system, it invades it. TB hides inside the macrophage, which is responsible for cleaning up bacteria and infections in the body. TB affects more people in the northern hemisphere away from the equator, and its incidence increases in the winter. Older people or those with type 2 diabetes, HIV, or low vitamin D are at an increased risk of an active TB infection. TB blocks the vitamin D receptor, which lowers your immune function. There was an uptick in TB outbreaks in the 80s when sun phobia was promoted. This campaign significantly reduced vitamin D levels by reducing sun exposure. Before the development of antibiotics, people with tuberculosis would go to sanatoriums for fresh air and sunlight exposure. Cod liver oil was also shown to be beneficial for people with tuberculosis infections. The immune system destroys TB with a compound called cathelicidin, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that depends on vitamin D. Not only is the sun vital for vitamin D production, but it also exposes you to infrared light. Infrared reverses mitochondrial damage and can increase vitamin D signaling, further protecting you from a TB infection. Let’s talk about so-called “healthy whole grains.” Eating whole grains is a widespread diet recommendation, but for what reason? Whole wheat bread, for example, is made from whole wheat flour, not refined flour. But, neither type of flour has much fiber, vitamins, phytonutrients, minerals, or protein. Whole grains also contain phytic acid, which blocks the absorption of minerals. The majority of studies on grains compare whole grains to refined grains. Many people already know whole grains are healthier than refined grains. So, why aren’t we comparing the effects of consuming whole grains vs. not consuming whole grains or refined grains? Aren't whole grains heart-healthy? The Cochrane group evaluated nine random-controlled trials and came to the conclusion that there isn’t enough evidence to say that consuming whole grains will reduce your risk of heart disease. However, foods without grains are beneficial for your heart, liver, arteries, and blood sugar levels. Learn more about these foods in my other videos. CEASE Eating for 3 Days?! (72 Hours)

What happens to your body during a 3-day fast? In this video, we’ll cover the fasting health benefits of both intermittent fasting and extended fasting for 72 hours or longer. I’ll also share some expert fasting tips for even more fasting benefits. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Not eating for 3 days? 1:02 Intermittent fasting benefits 1:44 Extended fasting benefits 3:12 Autophagy and fasting 4:22 72-hour fast benefits 4:49 Immune benefits of extended fasting 5:36 Fasting tips 6:28 How to break a fast Did you know that insulin resistance is behind most chronic diseases, including many types of cancer? Frequent eating leads to insulin resistance, which blocks cells from getting fuel. Diets involving 5 to 6 small meals daily destroy the metabolism the most! An intermittent fasting plan involving 18 hours of fasting with a 6-hour eating window can provide tremendous health benefits, such as weight loss in the midsection, improved mood, and decreased inflammation. A 24 to 48-hour fast can significantly magnify the benefits of fasting. Extended fasting enables you to deplete the stored glycogen in your liver. You may also notice significant initial water weight loss. During a 1 to 2-day fast, most of your fuel will come from ketones. Your microbes will thrive, and growth hormone will increase, boosting muscle growth and burning fat. Ketones will feed the neurons in the brain, so you may notice improved cognitive function. Extended fasting allows you to get into a state of autophagy, where your body removes damaged cells and proteins and creates new ones. Autophagy also allows you to build new brain cells. A 3-day fast can produce even more benefits! Extended fasting for 72 hours can clean up intracellular pathogens, including Epstein-Barr and herpes viruses. A 3-day fast can stimulate your immune system, protecting you against cancer and autoimmune diseases. You can achieve results similar to stem cell therapy for free! If you’re unsure of how to fast and want to make the process as comfortable and beneficial as possible, try these fasting tips for the most fasting benefits: •Coffee and tea are okay during a water fast •Make sure you have enough sea salt •Consume electrolytes like potassium and magnesium Refeeding can have a negative impact after a 3-day fast. It’s best to rebuild your caloric intake slowly. Bone broth is a great option to break your fast. There are two main reasons this can happen: You may not be drinking enough fluid, or you may have low blood volume. Low blood volume is the more common scenario. Low blood volume is one of the most common causes of excessive thirst. Drinking more water can actually make the problem worse, leaving you with constant thirst. To retain enough fluid and maintain healthy blood volume, you need adequate salt. Low sodium and low blood volume symptoms include: • Feeling dizzy or unstable when standing up quickly • Persistent thirst, especially at night • Fatigue, weak muscles, or cramping • Poor sleep • Headaches • Feeling cold • Constipation • Dark urine • Dry mouth and dry eyes You need around 3000 to 4000 mg of sodium each day to maintain healthy hydration levels. This is equal to about 1½ to 2 teaspoons of salt per day. If you’re an athlete or physically active, you may need more. Today we’re going to talk about the first sign of kidney disease. The kidneys are filters that convert blood into urine and recycle your fluid, protein, nutrients, and hormones. Other functions of the kidneys include: • Coordinating the amount of fluid in the body • Converting vitamin D into the active form of vitamin D • Regulating blood pressure • Regulating the hydration of the body • Eliminating toxins from the body High blood sugar levels can lead to diabetic nephropathy, one of the most common causes of kidney failure and end-stage renal disease. The first sign of kidney disease is nocturia, a situation where you urinate often during the night. Other common signs of kidney disease are protein in the urine and edema. I have found that the best way to stop nocturia is to focus on improving the person’s diabetes first. A high-carb diet is ultimately behind diabetes. The best ways to support your kidneys: 1. Go on a keto diet 2. Do intermittent fasting (one and a half meals a day) 3. Consume plant phytonutrients 4. Take benfotiamine 5. Take alpha-lipoic acid 6. Consume turmeric Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Cheap vs. expensive bacon 0:27 Bacon quality difference 2:06 The bacon process 2:26 High-quality bacon 3:33 Dr. Berg’s bacon 4:51 Nitrates in bacon 5:46 Cooking pork The average commodity bacon at the grocery store is affordable, but is the more costly bacon worth it? Once a pig is weaned from its mother, it’s sent to a feedlot, weighing about 40 to 50 pounds. It will then live in a 7-square-foot area where it will be fattened to over 250 pounds in 3 to 4 months! Commercial pigs are fed GMO corn and soy. They’re also given drugs in the US, like ractopamine, to quickly increase muscle growth before slaughter. This drug is banned in 90 countries! Laws protect the privacy of these farms, so it’s difficult for the public to discover what truly occurs there. When bacon is processed, artificial smoke flavoring, salt, sugar, water, and MSG are typically added. This process is not generally used for high-quality bacon. Nitrates are chemicals that act as antibacterials and flavor enhancers. When exposed to high heat, however, they can turn into carcinogens. Singing Pastures is an excellent source of pasture-raised bacon. Pigs are rotated in small pastures to allow grass to regenerate. In Spain and Italy, pigs are often fed acorns. Pork is also cured to enhance flavor and quality. Pork is one of the best sources of vitamin B1. Pasture-raised pork contains vitamin D and trace minerals such as selenium and zinc. Lard is a healthy fat and, if it comes from a properly raised pig, is a great addition to cooking and baking. Overcooked bacon can create carcinogenic byproducts. Avoid this by cooking your bacon in the oven or air fryer. To counteract carcinogens, cook your bacon with olive oil, garlic, and onion. Avoid microwavable bacon! You already have cancer cells! Not active cancer, but precancerous cells. Even within a tumor, there can be many different types of cancer cells that survive on different types of fuel. Most people don’t know these surprising facts about cancer. Cancer can send out “scouts” before it spreads, turn your own immune cells against you, and even steal energy from the immune system. Treatment may also fail to eliminate cancer stem cells, which is one reason cancer can sometimes come back. Cancer develops in stages: • Hyperplasia • Atypical hyperplasia • Metaplasia • Dysplasia • Carcinoma in situ • Invasive cancer • Metastatic cancer Cancer cells grow as quickly as possible, consuming glucose and producing lactic acid. Prolonged fasting may help limit the resources cancer cells depend on. The body has several natural lines of defense against cancer. Guardian cells help repair damaged cells or trigger self-destruction when cells can’t be repaired. Natural killer cells help target cancer cells. Immune function is heavily influenced by sleep, stress, and environment. Cancer also has strategies to suppress the vitamin D receptor. Vitamin D is vital for healthy immune function and defense. Cancer cells need their own blood supply, and compounds like sulforaphane may help target this process. Cancer thrives in areas of inflammation, which is why supporting a healthy immune system and overall health is so important. Dr. Eric Berg, D.C. Never Allow Gallbladder Removal

Do not get gallbladder removal surgery unless you have to! Learn more about gallbladder stones, gallbladder function, and the side effects of gallbladder removal. Find out why gallbladder removal isn’t the only solution! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Do not get your gallbladder removed! 0:15 Gallbladder surgery 0:53 Gallbladder function 3:12 Gallbladder stones 3:56 Gallbladder removal lies 6:25 Problems from gallbladder removal 8:30 What causes gallstones? 10:58 How to increase bile and prevent gallbladder stones DATA: https://lifewithnogallbladder.org/https://surgeonadamharris.com/underst... The gallbladder is a small sac that sits below the liver with the following important functions: •Bile storage and concentration •Regulation of bile release •Cholesterol regulation •Antimicrobial functions •Hunger and blood sugar control •Detox support •Helps trigger the antioxidant glutathione Bile is vital for the breakdown of fats, so you can absorb fat-soluble vitamins A, E, D, K1, K2, and omega-3 fatty acids. Bile can also help thyroid hormones work more efficiently. Gallbladder removal surgery is often the result of gallbladder stones. Gallstones come from a lack of bile. People are often told the following lies and convinced into gallbladder removal surgery: •There are no other options. •A diseased gallbladder causes gallstones. •You can’t prevent gallstones with diet. •Gallbladder removal does not cause complications. •Post-cholecystectomy is controversial. •Gallstones that result from pregnancy require gallbladder removal surgery. Gallstones can be caused by high levels of estrogen, being overweight, and diabetes, but one of the biggest gallbladder stone causes is high insulin! Insulin resistance resulting from chronically high insulin levels can prevent the liver from producing adequate bile and weaken the gallbladder. A low-carb diet and intermittent fasting are the best solutions for gallbladder stones. Your microbes also produce bile, so anything that destroys them can affect bile. Antibiotics and low-fat, low-cholesterol diets increase the risk for gallstones. Fatty fish has the most potent effect on bile production. You can also increase bile with cholesterol foods such as butter, eggs, shellfish, seafood, and liver. Egg yolks and liver are high in choline, a key nutrient vital for bile production. Bitter greens, arugula, radish, celery, and sauerkraut can help make additional bile salts. Citrus, betaine hydrochloride, and ACV can increase acidity to trigger the release of bile. Herbs like turmeric, ginger, milk thistle, parsley, and cilantro are also beneficial. Chronic stress increases cortisol, which suppresses bile. The Secret to Increasing More OXYGEN in Your Cells: ▶️ https://youtu.be/DtVj-U2hU7k DATA: https://www.irishtimes.com/news/science/a-potentially-good-side-of-carbon-dioxide-1.4511166 0:00 Introduction: Nose breathing 0:15 Does nose breathing restrict oxygen? 0:47 Nose breathing benefits 1:25 Nose breathing vs. mouth breathing 9:42 Learn more about oxygen and CO2! Today we’re going to talk about the benefits of nose breathing when you’re sleeping and exercising. When you restrict airflow by breathing through the nose, some very interesting things occur. You actually get more oxygen delivered to your tissues when nose breathing than when you breathe through your mouth. When you breathe through your nose, the sinuses help moisten the air as it goes into the lungs. This protects the lungs from irritation and inflammation. Your nose also helps filter the air as it goes into the lungs and can protect the lungs against pathogens. CO2 isn’t just a waste product. It’s essential. It takes CO2 to push oxygen from your blood into your cells. A few potential side effects of sinus surgery are dry sinuses and difficulty breathing. You need the mucous membranes to balance out oxygen and CO2. Oxygen therapy and certain conditions can also cause low CO2. Low CO2 can cause the body to be more alkaline, which can cause low calcium in the blood. Both of these issues can lead to a myriad of symptoms. When you breathe through your nose, you can increase the amount of oxygen in your cells by about 20%. Nose breathing helps increase the right amount of CO2 in your body to push oxygen into your cells. This will help oxygenate your brain and muscles, especially when you sleep and exercise. Increasing the oxygen in your cells can also help with stress. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. The #1 MOST EFFECTIVE Remedy for Dental Plaque (TARTAR)

This is a game changer! Find out how to get rid of tartar naturally with a combination of natural remedies that support tooth health. These dental plaque remedies can also prevent cavities, whiten teeth, and prevent bad breath. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: The #1 top remedy for dental plaque 0:20 What causes tartar? 1:23 How to remove plaque 2:03 Clove oil for tartar removal 2:20 Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite is the top remedy for tartar 3:16 Chewing gum for teeth 3:34 How to prevent dental plaque with grass-fed butter Plaque and tartar are biofilms, which can be described as a protective shield against the immune system in your mouth. Biofilms are produced by a microbe called Streptococcus mutans, which also causes cavities. Surprisingly, this microbe has been found in other parts of the body, including the valves of the heart and the plaque in your arteries. Sugar consumption is one of the leading causes of tartar, but consuming sugar with starch is even worse! This can form a glue that sticks to your teeth. You must stop eating starch and sugar to prevent plaque and tartar from forming. To make a natural toothpaste that can effectively remove plaque, combine the following: •1/2 teaspoon 3% hydrogen peroxide, food-grade •1/2 teaspoon baking soda •3 drops of clove oil •1/2 teaspoon microcrystalline hydroxyapatite Combine 3 teaspoons of water with this mixture and brush your teeth with the mixture once daily. Hydrogen peroxide helps break down biofilms and whiten teeth. Baking soda has mild abrasive properties to clean teeth and alkalize the mouth. Clove oil is the best essential oil for oral health. It breaks down tartar and can even help decrease oral pain. Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite can enter the small crevices of the teeth and remineralize the bone tissue. It also prevents acid from breaking down the tooth. You can also chew certain types of gum that can help repopulate the friendly bacteria in the mouth and protect you against the formation of biofilms. Friendly bacteria in your mouth can help prevent tartar, bad breath, and cavities. Grass-fed butter is one of the healthiest foods for teeth. It’s a potent source of vitamin K2, which pushes the calcium in your body into your bones. Butter also contains vitamin A, which strengthens your enamel, and butyrate, which supports the brain and colon.
