Today I want to share the best meal to clean out your arteries. There is an interesting connection between your microbiome and your arteries. In mice studies, when the mice lack a healthy gut microbiome, they tend to develop a lot of inflammation. Inflammation in the arteries triggers a cascade of damaging effects. An overall imbalance of the microorganisms in the body can also lead to various problems in the arteries. One of the most important vitamins for the arteries is vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 helps keep calcium buildup out of the arteries. The microbes in your gut have the ability to make vitamin K2, but fermented foods and fatty foods are also rich in vitamin K2. Keep in mind that vitamin K2 works better when taken with vitamin D3. For every 100 mcg of vitamin K2, consider taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. Probiotics are crucial to support healthy arteries, and your friendly microbes are your natural probiotics. It’s important to support your microbiome and avoid sterile foods like pasteurized and over-processed foods. The best meal to clean out the arteries: • Brie cheese • Fatty pork sausage • Sauerkraut Each of these foods is fermented and loaded with vitamin K2. Give them a try, and start adding other alive and fermented foods to your diet. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. One vaping device can deliver the equivalent of hundreds of cigarette puffs. Many people don’t realize that the average vaping device contains about 650 mg of nicotine, making nicotine addiction easy to develop. Flavorings used in vapes were never intended to be inhaled. When you vape, the aerosol enters your lungs and bloodstream, exposing your body to nicotine and other toxic compounds. Every time you use a vape, your nicotine receptors become desensitized, increasing your craving for more nicotine over time. Nicotine is also a stimulant that constricts blood vessels, promotes inflammation, and can lead to chemical dependence. One of the most common vaping myths is that vapes only contain water vapor. In reality, many vaping products contain solvents, glycerin, synthetic flavorings, formaldehyde, and other toxic byproducts in addition to nicotine. Don't Fail This Brain Test (For Early Dementia)

Grab a pen and paper and try this 30-second early dementia test! This simple cognitive assessment for dementia can identify cognitive deficits long before the onset of dementia. Don’t wait for early dementia signs to take action! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Quick dementia brain test 0:24 The clock drawing test for dementia 1:17 Evaluating clock drawing test results 1:57 What causes dementia? 2:39 Preventing cognitive decline and reversing dementia 4:40 Reversing early dementia signs with ketones Memory loss is not the only early sign of dementia! Other common cognitive decline symptoms involve the speed at which you process information and your attention and focus. To perform the clock drawing test for dementia, set a timer for 30 seconds and draw a clock with the time set at 10 minutes after 11. To evaluate your results for any dementia risk factors, examine the following: •Were any numbers jumbled or missing? •Did you write all 12 numbers? •Were the numbers spaced correctly? •Were the hands of the clock facing the right direction? •Did you reverse the hour and the minute hands? •Were you unable to complete this in 30 seconds? The clock drawing test is one of the most sensitive indicators of early cognitive deficits and is considered more accurate than memory tests. If you didn’t pass this test or you made a mistake, don’t worry! You can do many things to support brain health and prevent or reverse dementia. Sugar shrinks your brain, especially the hippocampus, which controls memory. Chronic stress and poor sleep can also contribute to the problem. If you notice any signs of early dementia, increasing BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) is vital. BDNF helps grow brain tissue and prevents cognitive problems, as well as other issues like depression. Here are the best ways to increase BDNF: •Intermittent fasting •Cold therapy •Deep sleep •Learning difficult tasks or skills •High-intensity interval training Ketones can also help reverse dementia and protect your brain against cognitive decline. A low-carb diet can increase ketones and has even been shown to reverse diabetes in 10 weeks! MCT oil, coconut oil, and ketone supplements can also provide the brain with ketones. To remain in ketosis, only consume a moderate amount of protein! Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Watch this video to learn the steps to maintain weight and health after Ozempic. 0:00 Introduction: Maintaining weight after Ozempic 0:15 What is Ozempic? 4:55 Negative effects of Ozempic 5:30 How to maintain weight after Ozempic Understanding the benefits and drawbacks of Ozempic is crucial when considering how to manage your weight after stopping this medication. As a GLP-1 Agonist, Ozempic mimics a hormone in your small intestine that helps regulate insulin levels, control appetite, and slow down gastric emptying. While this can aid in weight loss, it can also lead to adverse side effects. These side effects may include: • Nutrient deficiency • Gastroparesis • Constipation • Gallbladder problems • Thyroid tumors and cancer To help maintain your weight after Ozempic, it’s crucial to make certain lifestyle changes, such as: 1. Follow a ketogenic diet to keep insulin levels low and promote fat-burning. 2. Do intermittent fasting to control appetite and improve hormone balance. 3. Incorporate weight training to build and preserve muscle mass. Additionally, ensuring adequate protein intake is crucial for maintaining muscle mass, especially for those who have already lost a significant amount of muscle while on Ozempic. This can be achieved through consuming bioavailable proteins such as red meat, eggs, and fish. Monitoring your hormone levels and ensuring proper cholesterol intake is also important, as cholesterol is a building block for many hormones, including testosterone and estrogen. #keto #ketodiet #weightloss #ketolifestyle Thanks for watching! Nighttime Behaviors that Speed Up Aging (And Cost Nothing to Fix)

These 7 dangerous nighttime habits can ruin your sleep and wreak havoc on your health. Stop making these nighttime routine mistakes! Get better sleep tonight by quitting these unhealthy night habits immediately. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Avoid these habits that hurt sleep 2:22 Avoiding screens for better sleep 4:28 Alcohol before sleep 8:05 Avoid these before bed 10:05 More sleep equals better sleep 1. Carbs and sugar before bed Growth hormone rises at night, but is blunted by a rise in blood sugar. This hormone helps you burn fat, repair tissues, and build muscle mass. A massive blood sugar spike before bed can interfere with your sleep and cause grogginess, fatigue, cravings, and irritability the next day. 2. Screens and lights before bed Avoid lights and screens, especially those emitting blue light, for at least 2 hours before bed. Melatonin is suppressed by light. Not only does this powerful antioxidant help you sleep, but it’s more important than glutathione for detoxification and DNA repair. Blue light also suppresses deep delta wave sleep and REM sleep. 3. Using alcohol to fall asleep Alcohol tricks your body into falling asleep, but you’re not really sleeping: your body is working to detoxify alcohol. Alcohol increases cortisol and adrenaline, and depletes electrolytes. It also depletes vitamin B1, which can cause anxiety and nervous tension the next day. Instead of alcohol, try magnesium glycinate in warm water or kombucha tea. 4. Late-night junk food Junk foods typically contain seed oils, which are inflammatory and hard on the gallbladder. If you’re craving salty food before bed, try putting a small amount of sea salt in your mouth or adding more salt to your dinner. 5. Antihistamines or sleeping pills before bed Sedated, artificial sleep does not leave you feeling rejuvenated and rested in the morning. People often feel less focused with decreased concentration and memory. You may eventually need more of the drug to create the same effect. 6. Sleeping next to your cell phone Your cell phone and charging cable both emit electromagnetic fields (EMFs), which can negatively impact your brain and sleep cycles. EMFs also interfere with melatonin. Keep your cell phone on airplane mode or away from your body when you’re sleeping. 7. Sleep deprivation Sleep deprivation can make sleep more difficult in itself. You need at least 7 hours of sleep each night. Try to get to sleep at 10:00 p.m. each night, or 11:00 p.m. at the latest. Check out this article on the connection between sleep and vitamin D: https://drbrg.co/4yfCzXV Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. Sleep quality is just as important as the number of hours you sleep. Light, sound, air quality, temperature, and what you eat before bed all affect your sleep quality. As you fall asleep, your core body temperature naturally drops by 2–3 degrees. Keeping your bedroom between 60–67°F can support this natural cooling process, making it easier to fall asleep and stay in a deep sleep. Dim the lights 2–3 hours before bed, avoid blue light and LED lights in the evening, and eliminate small light sources in the bedroom. These simple changes can help improve sleep quality. Snacking before bed can spike blood sugar and contribute to blood sugar fluctuations throughout the night, making it harder to get restorative sleep. The benefits of deep sleep include better memory, improved brain waste removal, increased growth hormone, stronger immune function, and more stable blood sugar, all of which can help you stop waking up feeling tired. The 1 Vitamin That REVERSES Nerve Damage (And No One Discusses It)

Find out how to reverse nerve damage with this one vitamin. No one talks about this! This vitamin is associated with the most common deficiency behind most nerve problems. In this video, we’ll address the solutions to many common nerve problems. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Coimbra Protocol: https://www.hsctstopsms.com/simple-ov... 0:00 Introduction: the vitamin that reverses nerve damage 0:12 Viruses and nerve damage 1:38 Arginine and lysine 2:12 Sciatica and copper 2:30 Carpal tunnel syndrome and multiple sclerosis 3:31 Peripheral neuropathy and vitamin B1 Viruses can hide in the ganglia (a nerve cell cluster) and turn off autophagy, a state in which the body recycles damaged proteins. Here, the viruses can lie dormant until stress levels rise, which increases cortisol and weakens the immune system. Emotional stress can significantly weaken the immune system. This is why many dormant viruses come out of remission after a stressful event, such as losing a loved one. The herpes and shingles viruses are often seen after a significant stressor. These viruses need the amino acid arginine to survive. Lysine can block arginine and stop the reproduction of these viruses. You need at least 1000 to 3000 mg of lysine to block arginine. Sciatica typically stems from a disc problem. Copper deficiency is at the root of many disc problems, so it can be an excellent solution for sciatica. A copper supplement or copper cream can help reduce sciatica pain. Carpal tunnel syndrome is usually caused by a vitamin B6 deficiency. Along with increasing vitamin B6, you also need more vitamin B12 to support the myelin sheaths of your nerves. Adequate vitamin D3 is vital for conditions like multiple sclerosis and helps reduce inflammation within the nerve cells. To put conditions like MS into remission, you need to take large amounts of vitamin D3—at least 50,000 IU. The Coimbra Protocol is a well-researched method of using high doses of vitamin D3 to effectively reduce the symptoms of autoimmune conditions. Many people with diabetes develop a condition called peripheral neuropathy that causes numbness in the toes and feet. Vitamin B1 in the form of benfotiamine can penetrate the myelin sheath and help reverse nerve damage caused by high blood sugar. For vitamin B1 to work, you need the cofactor magnesium. When using high doses of vitamin D, always check with your doctor. High doses of vitamin D can increase blood/urine calcium levels resulting in calcium deposits in the kidney. Also drink 2.5 liters of fluids per day, take cofactors with vitamin D (magnesium, K2 and zinc) and have your doctor monitor your PTH, vitamin D blood levels and creatinine and avoid excess calcium supplements of high calcium foods when taking vitamin D levels over 10,000 IUs. #health #keto #ketodiet #weightloss #ketolifestyle #intermittentfasting #lowcarb Thanks for watching! If you can’t do them all, that’s okay—choose the ones that are right for you! Pick the best exercises for your home arm workout. As we age, the muscles in our arms start to atrophy along with our fascia. Fascia holds the shape of the arm and is vital for the whole body. Fascia maintains the body’s shape, keeps your muscles in place, and shares some of the force on your body when you exercise. When you stimulate the fascia, you cause collagen synthesis, which is essential as you age. The arm exercises I’m going to show you focus on strengthening the primary and secondary muscles, associated supporting muscles, and the fascia. This arm workout is safe on the joints, produces significant strength, and can reshape the arms for slim, toned arms. Most of the exercises I’m going to show you today are isometric exercises. This type of exercise increases tension in the muscle without lengthening or shortening it. Contracting your muscle is referred to as a concentric movement, while the extension is an eccentric movement. You’ll need a resistance band or isometric band for these arm exercises. Some will be done using a TRX, which works great for an arm workout. Gymnastic rings can also work but are not necessary. If you don’t have any equipment, don’t worry! You can also get slim, toned arms by using your body weight. #health #keto #ketodiet #weightloss #ketolifestyle #intermittentfasting #lowcarbonfootprint Thanks for watching! How do we break the cycle of anxiety? Learn the causes of stress and how to overcome them in this video. 0:00 Introduction: A new look at anxiety 1:26 Understanding worry 2:16 Relationship between problems and anxiety 3:38 What is speculation? 4:25 Impact of sensationalism on stress levels 4:51 Understanding the role of conjecture in anxiety 5:15 The role of anxiety in adrenal gland function 5:43 How adaptogens can help manage stress and anxiety 6:15 Learn more about how to get rid of stress! In this video, we're going to talk about the different factors that can contribute to anxiety and how they affect our bodies. Anxiety is defined as worrying about something that may or may not happen. It can be triggered by speculation, sensationalism, or conjecture. Speculation is when we are concerned about things not based on facts or knowledge, while sensationalism is the use of shocking words or exaggerated stories to grab attention. A conjecture, on the other hand, is an opinion based on guessing rather than the truth. These triggers can cause anxiety that, if left unchecked, may become chronic and affect our adrenal glands. This, in turn, encourages the release of adrenaline and cortisol, weakening our immune system and accelerating the aging process. Limiting exposure to stress through activities such as exercise and spending time in nature is essential to break this cycle. It’s also best to avoid negative messages and sensationalized news that provoke these anxious thoughts. Additionally, incorporating adaptogens into our diet, such as vitamin B1 and ashwagandha, helps to strengthen our ability to cope with daily stress. #keto #ketodiet #weightloss #ketolifestyle Thanks for watching. How stress affects digestion: • It causes the development of biofilms allowing harmful bacteria to survive • It erodes the mucosa layer, which can lead to ulcers • It decreases transit time (causes constipation) • It can lead to leaky gut • It alters your microbiome and decreases the diversity and number of your microbes, which can lead to inflammation and other health concerns Stressors that affect the digestive system: • Emotional stress • Antibiotics and things that act like an antibiotic (chlorine, artificial sweeteners, glyphosate, and sterilized food) • Intravenous feeding • ICU care The best ways to get rid of digestive problems related to stress: 1.
