The Liminal Space of Life Transitions

Image & narration by EIRANU. This week’s wellbeing reflection explores the liminal space of life transitions as a threshold of transformation. It is a space between identities, where you are no longer defined by past limitations and not yet confined by future form. This is the magical womb of creation, where the known dissolves and the new is born. In this space, you are not lost. You are becoming. You stand at the doorway of your own evolution. After the wellbeing reflection, you are invited into a guided practice to embody the theme, and to slow down, pause, breathe and return to yourself. When the old begins to dissolve. It begins as an unravelling. The roles you have inhabited feel like costumes grown too tight, and the scripts you followed no longer resonate. You realise your old story no longer defines you, and you feel a pull towards something undefined yet familiar. Routines that anchored you now feel hollow. The things that ignited your passion seem dim, and the ambitions that defined you now feel distant, almost irrelevant. You are moving through a detachment, a soft untethering from what once was. Emotionally, there’s a sense of floating, a neutrality that can feel like numbness. But if you listen closely, it’s more like the silence between breaths, the pause before something new begins. And though it feels like dissolution, it is, in truth, a sacred reformation. What was is dissolving. What will be is forming. And you are here, in between. Your soul is aligning with a new direction. Every transformation passes through this liminal space. At times, life itself lines up to release you from something: a threshold of age, a rite of passage, an ending that comes unbidden. At other times, the change begins from within, as you answer your soul’s call towards something new. Either way, the passage is designed by the web of consciousness, the interplay of soul, source and self. The soul initiates the journey. The web provides the structure. The self navigates the unfolding. It is a creative partnership, and you are both the architect and the becoming. This design has been known for as long as people have lived through change. In times gone by, this liminal space was held as sacred, guided by one who knew the way. The Sacred Passage of Death. For centuries, in the villages of Ireland, this is how a death was honoured. When a person died, time itself bowed in reverence. As word of the death travelled from house to house, the whole community, once humming with the ordinary rhythms of life, fell silent. The familiar sounds of daily toil, the clatter of dishes, the murmur of conversation, the rustle of movement, suddenly ceased. Clocks were stopped, not merely as ritual, but as a profound recognition that time, for this moment, had lost its authority. The ticking hands, once relentless, now stood still, marking a sacred pause, a moment when the boundaries of existence grew thin and permeable. In this stillness, a new kind of time emerged: sacred, liminal, unmeasured. This was the threshold time, a space between this world and the next, where the living and the dead, the seen and the unseen, coexisted in a delicate balance. It was a realm where reality softened, and the veil between worlds became translucent. The Bean Chaointe, leader of the lament, guided the soul with her voice. Her keen was a cry of release, a sound of transformation. The Mná Caointe, the Keening Women, joined her, singing the soul into flight. Their voices, raw and ancient, wove a bridge of sound across the threshold. The keen served a sacred purpose. It helped the soul cross over, held a safe space for all the emotions of grief to be expressed, and it honoured the life of the one who had died. Neighbours gathered and formed a living circle to hold the soul as it let go of the body. In this circle, grief was shared rather than carried alone. The work of the day was set down for a greater work, the work of witnessing, of honouring, of letting go. This is the liminal space of death as a rite of passage. Here, the village became a crucible of transformation, where grief and grace intertwined, and the ordinary became sacred. This knowledge of the Irish keen comes from a recent workshop with Mary Mc Laughlin, whose work is reawakening the ancient way of the keening women. In her book, The Irish Keen: Grief Rituals and the Otherworld, she brings to life the songs, rituals and wisdom that once carried the soul across the threshold. A must read for anyone who feels the call to reclaim this ancient knowledge. Every transformation is designed this way. When a chapter of your life comes to an end, you step into the same liminal space, between what was and what is yet to be. As the familiar dissolves, you may feel disoriented, as if you no longer belong to your old life. And you may find yourself drawn to new ideas, symbols and people that resonate with something you are yet to put into words. There may be a deep inner stillness, or a restlessness that keeps stirring. A longing rises for solitude and contemplation, and with it a sense of being called, without knowing by whom or by what. In this space, time bends, dragging one day and leaping the next. It stretches and compresses, and moments feel both deep and fleeting. At times, it can feel as though you are watching your life from a distance, like a character in someone else’s story. Old dramas lose their grip, and you watch them pass with a peaceful disinterest. This is a recalibration. Your whole being is creating space for the new to land. The old is clearing.Space is opening. The new is on its way. You are not losing yourself. You are remembering a more fluid, expansive version of who you are. The magic of the in between. And in the very heart of this unknown, magic unfolds. You access deeper intuition, synchronicities abound, and the universe whispers its next steps. The discomfort of the unfamiliar is also electric with potential. Here, you are infinite. The magic shows itself in your everyday life. You may meet the right person at the right moment, hear the right phrase, or find a book that speaks directly to your inner state. Clarity can come all at once, as a knowing that bypasses logic, as if your future self sent a message back through time. After a long stillness, a wave of motivation or inspiration can return, like a breath of fresh air. Numbers, symbols and dreams may repeat themselves, mirroring your inner transformation. The right person. The right words. The right moment. These are meaningful signals, more than coincidences. They show that your inner and outer worlds are aligning, and that something new is already taking form. How to be in the womb of becoming. When certainty eludes you, practise trust. Trust the dissolving.Trust the stillness.Trust what is forming. Let what is ready dissolve, without rushing to replace it. Ask yourself, What part of me is ready to dissolve? Then listen, without judgement. Anchor in stillness. Create daily rituals of silence or breath to steady yourself, a place to return to while everything around you is changing. Follow resonance, and move towards what feels alive, even if it does not yet make sense. Curiosity and joy are the thread to follow. Embrace not knowing. Let go of the need for immediate answers, because the clarity you seek is already seeking you. Rest in a simple truth: I am becoming what I already am. And allow yourself to be unfinished. Becoming takes the time it takes. Remember, the discomfort is the womb of transformation. You are not lost. You are becoming. An invitation for a guided embodied practice. This is an invitation to pause, breathe deeper and return to yourself. Find a space where you can be still and undisturbed. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Make any adjustments you need so you feel supported. In this moment, all else can wait. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your natural breathing cycle. Feel the breath rolling in. Feel the breath ro… This is a public episode. A Real Life Conversation on Samhain, Grief & Connection.

In this bonus episode of The Return To Yourself podcast by EIRANU, two Coaches who trained together in New York reunite at Samhain, Stephanie Wong in California and Claire, the creator of EIRANU, on the west coast of Ireland, for an honest conversation on death, love and living fully.Together, in this real life conversation, Claire and Stephanie talk about how your connection to the people you love continues after they die, how grief can move through you, finding joy in the hardest seasons, choosing trust over fear, and what it means to have enough. At Samhain, the Celtic New Year, when the veil between the worlds was thin, families kept their bond with those who had died close to home. The door was left open, a place was set at the table and a candle lit, so a loved one could find their way back. Around the fire, their stories were told and their names spoken, until their spirit felt close enough to touch. That same bond with the people you love is at the heart of this conversation. Stephanie writes Wong Out Loud, born from her love for her husband, Andy, who passed away two years ago, and from knowing that death comes to all of us. One question guides her writing: how do you want to live differently, right now? She writes about life, death, grief, loss and reinvention, and about finding meaning, purpose and calm in the chaos. Her memoir in the making is unfolding on her newest Substack, Human, Complicated. The Return To Yourself is EIRANU’s weekly publication and podcast, hosted by Claire. In a world that pulls your attention outward, it invites you to turn inward. Everything you have been searching for, the calm, the clarity, the energy, the answers, is already within you. Each week’s wellbeing reflection explores how to listen to your body, truly rest, come back to the present moment, let go and move forward, and feel like yourself again, in rhythm with nature, and at times with the turning seasons of the Celtic Wheel of the Year. Each one is followed by an embodied practice, the heart of every episode, where Claire leads you to slow down, connect to your breath and become aware of what you feel in this moment. It is a reset you can return to again and again. Samhain: How to Feel Renewed Through the Darkest Months

The clocks go back, and darkness falls before the evening has begun. Storms sweep in, the wind rattles the windows, and the nights stretch long. This week's wellbeing reflection explores how the ancient Celtic wisdom of Samhain can renew you through the darkest months of the year, followed by an embodied practice to help you pause, breathe and return to yourself. Listen free on Substack, Apple Podcasts and Spotify, or read at eiranu.substack.com Read on Substack Celtic tradition handed down through the generations tells of a night, the eve of Samhain, when every fire in Ireland was put out. Home after home fell dark. The old fires were extinguished as a symbolic death of the past year. Then, on a central hill, a great fire was lit, and from its flame every hearth across the land was kindled again, to burn through the long months ahead. The new flame, lit from this sacred fire, represented rebirth, purity, and the spark of the new year. Lighting every hearth from a single flame symbolised that all were connected to a common spiritual and ancestral source. It was a way of communication to the ancestors: “Though the veil is thin, we are still one. Your light lives here.” The flame was a living thread of belonging, weaving villages, clans, and regions into one connected community and aligning hearts, minds, and timelines in a unified period of renewal. This is Samhain (pronounced “Sow in”), the Celtic New Year. It falls halfway between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice, opening the three darkest months of the year, November, December and January, with the Winter Solstice at their centre. At this time, the waning Sun, the giver of life and light, was seen to be dying, and as it waned, the boundary between life and death thinned with it. It is also known as the turning point of the farming year. The fields lie empty and the land settles into rest. With the work of the year complete, the community turns inward, and remembers those who came before, whose lives sustained their own. Samhain stands at the threshold between years and between worlds, the most liminal night of the year. The mythology of the otherworld In Celtic mythology, the Tuatha Dé Danann are revered as divine beings, both gods and ancestors, celebrated for their mastery of magic, the arts, and the elements. The Sidhe (pronounced “shee”) are ancient mounds that house the Tuatha Dé Danann. These mounds are believed to be portals to the Otherworld. On Samhain, the night of the thinning veil, the Sidhe open up, allowing the spirits of ancestors and otherworldly beings to pass into our world. This was a time for receiving messages from the Otherworld, prophecies, guidance, or warnings. Offerings were left at the mounds to appease the Sidhe and ensure their blessing for the coming year. Folklore tells of mortals who entered the mounds during Samhain and returned with wisdom or never returned at all. And as the nights draw in, families gathered around the fire. Stories were told, and memory, myth and spirit mingled in the firelight, until the dead felt close enough to touch. As the daylight fades, the Earth’s energy field feels more compressed, as if time and space become less solid, and the energy of the ancestors feels closer. Even the sky holds the same meaning. At Samhain, the Sun passes through Scorpio, the sign of death, rebirth and transformation. The rhythm of the season. In Celtic cosmology, night precedes day, and winter precedes spring. The void, the darkness, the unseen, these were fertile spaces where new cycles were conceived. The Celts began their new year on the eve of Samhain because they viewed time through the lens of darkness giving birth to light. Samhain, standing at the threshold into the darkest quarter of the year, was the most sacred womb of time, a place of gestation for the new year. You may already feel the season turning. The clocks go back, and darkness falls before the evening has begun. Storms sweep in, the wind rattles the windows, and the nights stretch long. As the days shorten, nature slows down. Everything falls away, strips back and settles into rest. A seed falls from the dying plant into the earth, and there it rests, held in the soil, until the warmth and light of spring stir the life within it. Everything that grows begins in the dark. The land shows you the way through this season. It slows, settles and rests. Its roots grow deep and strong, long before any new shoot can be seen, and your body feels that same pull. For some, this time of year can bring a sense of relief. A chance to slow down.To turn inward. To gather in the long evenings. For others, it can bring a heaviness that is hard to name. Your spirit dims with the light.Your energy drops.Your mood lowers. The months ahead can feel like something to endure. Both are natural responses to the dark. You are part of nature, and your body follows the light, even as artificial light and a busy pace keep you going long after darkness falls. This is the invitation of the dark half of the year. Time to listen inward. Space to take in all the year has brought you. Rest, so that what comes next can grow from a strong root. The seeds you plant now are the ones you tend through the winter. An intention held in the body. A longing allowed to take root. A new direction coming to life. This is the natural renewal designed for the darkest months. How the wisdom faded. Over the centuries, life moved to a different rhythm. Time came to be measured by the clock and the calendar, in a straight line of days, deadlines and financial years, and the turning points of the natural year slipped from view. Families moved from the land into towns and cities, and the harvest, the herds and the gatherings that marked each season gave way to the routines of industry. The festival of Samhain was renamed and reshaped. With the coming of Christianity, Samhain became All Hallows’ Eve and All Saints’ Day, and remembrance of the dead took a new form. The unseen worlds of spirit, ancestors and the Otherworld were set aside as superstition. In time, the night became a commercial celebration of Halloween costumes, trick or treats, and its deeper meaning faded from memory. What faded with it was a shared space for grief and remembrance, a yearly reset point for the soul, a mirror for the darkness within you and around you, and a time to honour the dead so the living could move forward in coherence. That deeper meaning lives on, ready to be remembered. Reawakening Samhain is a living act of reclaiming. It restores your connection to the Earth, its rhythms and its seasons. It returns the power of ritual to mark your transitions, to let grief move and to honour those who came before you. It reawakens your inner flame of intuition, memory and mystery. And it draws you back into community, remembering together. Letting grief move through you. The darker months can bring grief closer. Memories surface. Those you have lost come to mind, and the sorrow you have carried makes itself felt again. Grief that is held in becomes stuck energy. It settles in the body as heaviness, as tightness in the chest, as a weight that stays with you from day to day. Samhain gives grief its place. To speak the names of those you love. To light a candle for them. To let the tears come when they come. As grief is felt, it moves, and as it moves, it softens. The leaves falling now become the soil the new seed grows in. In the same way, all that has ended in your life feeds what is beginning. And alongside the grief, there is gratitude. For the love you shared. For the time you had. For all that remains. Your connection to those who have passed over never dies, it lives on in the resonance of memory and love, woven into the timeless fabric of your being. The flame you carry. As the outer light fades, Samhain asks you to carry your own inner light into the darkness. The fire on the hill, carried home to every hearth, is a living image of this. The flame you carry through these months is made of all you have lived this year. The wisdom you have gathered. The warmth of those who came before you.The hope that guides you through the longest nights. At Samhain, families traditionally set a place at the table for loved ones who have passed, and lit candles for them. The door was left open, and the ancestors were welcomed home. Samhain is a time to remember that your connection to those you love lives on after they die. It lives in your memories of them, in the stories you tell about them, and in the moments their presence comes to mind. And in remembering those who came before you, you feel yourself held within a long line of ancestors, each one carrying the flame forward. Bring your attention to your natural breathing. Feel the breath rolling in. Feel the breath rolling out. Now begin to slow the breath down. Take a slow deep inhale through the nose, fill up your belly with air, feel your ribcage expand, and release with a slow long exhale through the mouth. Sigh it out. Again. A slow deep inhale. A slow long exhale. Release any tension out of your body with each exhale. Let your breath settle into a slow, steady rhythm. Allow your shoulders to drop. Your jaw to release. Your belly to soften. Now bring your attention to the centre of your chest, your heartspace. Sense a small flame glowing here. Steady and warm. With each inhale, feel the flame grow brighter. With each exhale, feel its warmth spread through your body. With each inhale, feel the flame grow brighter. With each exhale, feel its warmth spread through your body. Now let this question drop in. What is ready to be released as the year turns? What is ready to be released as the year turns? Stay with the question. Let the answer rise from your body, in its own time. A word. An image. A feeling. An inner knowing. With each exhale, release and let it fall away, like a leaf returning to the earth. Now let a second question drop in. What seed am I planting for the months ahead? What seed am I planting for the months ahead? Let the question settle. Feel the seed resting in the warmth of your inner flame. Held. Safe. Growing in its own time. And if someone you love who has passed comes to mind, let them be here with you, close, in the glow of the flame. Rest here. Rest. Feel the warmth in your chest.Feel the steadiness of your breath.Feel the light you carry into the dark. When you are ready, bring your attention back to the room around you. Make any movements you need before you arise. And know this warmth is yours, all through the rest of your day. On reflection Samhain opens the dark half of the year, the season the ancient Celts understood as a beginning. As the light wanes and the veil thins, your loved ones feel near, grief rises to be felt, and the seeds of what comes next are planted in the dark. As the outer light fades, you carry your own light within. This ancient wisdom lives on, yours to reawaken. Rest, remember, release, and trust the light to return. Return to this reflection whenever the dark months feel long, and listen as many times as you need. This is the return to yourself. The Return To Yourself is here as your space to step out of the everyday, to pause, to breathe and to remember who you are. What seed are you planting this Samhain? Share it in the comments. The Real Reason Life Changes Make You Feel Lost

This week’s wellbeing reflection explores the real reason life changes can leave you feeling lost, followed by an embodied guided practice to help you pause, breathe and return to yourself. There comes a moment when the life you know begins to move in a different direction. A relationship ends.A job changes.A crisis strikes. However it comes, change pulls you out of the rhythm you know and into uncharted territory. Unfamiliar. Unsettled. Uncertain. When life changes, the disruption it brings throws you off centre. The plans you made begin to dissolve. The roles you knew begin to shift. The future you pictured slips out of view. It opens a space where you can bring some introspection into view. From this space, you can see the story you have been living, perhaps for the first time. You see how much of your life was built around this story. How much of who you are was woven from it.How tightly you have been holding on. And the questions waiting beneath the change begin to rise. What is ending? What is asking to begin?Who am I, beyond the story? And here, the real reason you feel lost begins to reveal itself. You feel lost because so much of how you knew yourself was held in the life you were living: the people, the places and the roles you loved. When that life changes, your sense of self changes with it. And this change, however unwelcome, carries a hidden message for you. The signal before the change. This change may feel sudden. Yet something shifts within you long before your circumstances do. A restlessness.A dissonance.A sense of discomfort. This change of state is a messenger. Every experience you live changes you. A conversation that opens your eyes.A place that stirs something new in you. A challenge you overcome surprising yourself along the way. Each one leaves its mark, and slowly, the way you see the world begins to shift. What you value changes. What you long for evolves. What you need adapts. You grow curious about new people, new places and new ways of living, and you yearn to discover more of what life can hold. And as you reach towards the new, the familiar begins to feel different. What once felt natural to you begins to feel out of step. Over time, the life you built for an earlier version of you falls out of tune with who you are becoming. This is where the feeling of being lost arises. Part of you has already moved on from the life you know, and the life that fits who you are becoming is still taking shape. You stand in between, with one foot in each, unsure where you belong. The nature of change. Standing in this in-between can feel unsettling. Yet ancient wisdom has always understood it as part of the natural flow of life. Around 500 BC, the Greek philosopher Heraclitus observed that all of life flows like a river. Each time you step in, fresh waters are flowing around you. His wisdom lives on in the words most often attributed to him: “The only constant in life is change.” Heraclitus saw change as the very nature of life itself. Life is always moving. And as it moves, it moves you too. Your outer life is a mirror of your inner world. When you change within, the reflection takes time to catch up. A relationship that felt like home begins to feel distant.Work that once lit you up begins to drain you.A place that held you begins to confine you. Your life is still reflecting who you were, while you are already growing into someone new. This is why you can feel the pull to change even when everything around you stays the same. The shape of your life has yet to catch up with the shape of you. Beneath the discomfort, something deeper is stirring. It is the voice of your soul, the part of you that has always known who you are. It speaks through the restlessness, through the longing, through the sense that there is more. Listen closely, and you will hear its call of expansion. To grow beyond the life you have known. To live more fully as the person you have become. To let go of the story of who you once were. In the midst of change. Acceptance can feel like the hardest thing of all. From a young age, you learn to map out your life in milestones, each with its own timeline. A partner, a family, the right job, the right home, each one placed when life feels secure enough to hold it. Your life moves forward, chapter by chapter, and rarely circles back. When something you built your life around comes to an end, it can feel like failure, as though you are going backwards on the timeline you planned. In the midst of it, your thoughts race to make sense of what is happening. Your emotions rise and crash. The story of what you have lost replays again and again, and each time it pulls you deeper into it. So you hold on. To the people and the places you loved. To the life that was familiar. To the resistance to let go. Because what you are about to gain is still out of sight. You relive your emotions of grief, fear, anger and sadness on repeat. Feeling an emotion and replaying the story are two very different things. When you feel an emotion happening in real time, it moves through you and completes. When you replay the story continuously, your body lives it again. The same feelings. The same tension. The same hurt, pressed into the same wound. The events happened. Your feelings about them are real. And each time the story replays in your mind, your body relives it. These moments come because life is always moving you forward. You are here to grow, and growth asks you to leave the familiar behind. When you learn to see the disruption as a catalyst, the crash becomes the beginning of something new. The disruption opens the door. Walking through it is your choice. You can stay caught up in the old story, or you can begin to sense the part of you that has been watching it all along. It is the part of you that notices your thoughts as they race, feels your emotions as they rise, and knows when the story begins to replay. The one who is aware. Most of the time, you live as if you are the content of your experience. You identify with the stories you tell, the roles you play and the emotions you feel. This is the default way of being human: so absorbed in the narrative that you forget you are the narrator. Transitions, whether they come as crises, opportunities or subtle shifts, are more than changes in circumstance. They are doorways. They invite you to step back from the content of your experience and into the awareness that holds it all. They disrupt the continuity of your story, asking you to pause, reflect and remember. You are part of this awareness. Your circumstances, your roles and your story have all changed, and awareness has remained, constant and whole. This is why change can leave you feeling lost. You have been looking for yourself in the story, and the story is what changes. When you recognise yourself as part of awareness, you are already home. Moving through change with presence. Presence helps you move through change, one moment at a time. When change comes, the mind races ahead to what might happen and back to what has been lost. It searches for certainty and replays the story, over and over, trying to make sense of it all. Presence brings you back to what is here, now. Here, your emotions are real and they need to be felt. Grief for what has ended. Fear of what you cannot yet see. Longing for what was familiar. Each one moves through the body as sensation: a tightness in the chest, a heaviness, a wave that rises and passes. When you feel it fully, without adding to the story, it is free to move through you. Presence shows you the difference between feeling and reliving. You feel what is here, fully, and you notice the moment the story begins to replay. In that noticing, you can come back to this breath, this moment, this body. Each time you return to the present, you let go of the old story a little more. You no longer need all the answers, or to see the whole path ahead. You only need to be here for the next step. From presence comes acceptance. Your feelings are honoured, the story is set down, and your life can open to a new chapter, even before you can see where it leads. The gift of transition. This is the message hidden in every upheaval: you are more than the story you have been living. When a job ends, a relationship changes or a home is left behind, it can feel as if you have lost yourself along with it. What has changed are the circumstances of your life, and the story you told about who you are within them. You are still here, feeling it, noticing it, breathing through it. The story can change. You remain. Transitions are the chapters where the plot of your life unfolds in different directions. Sometimes they lead you somewhere you could never have imagined. They release you from the story of what happened, so you can live fully in this moment. And they return you to the awareness that has been here all along. Free to expand.Free to grow.Free to live more of who you really are. Bring your attention to your natural breathing. Feel the breath rolling in. Feel the breath rolling out. Pause. Now bring to mind a change in your life. One you are in the midst of, one you sense is coming, or one you have just been through. Notice the thoughts this change brings.Notice the feelings it stirs in your body.Let them be here. And notice the awareness in which they arise. Breathe. Now let this question drop in. What is this change showing me? Stay with the question. Let the answer rise from your body, in its own time. A word. An image. A feeling. Or simply space. Breathe into whatever comes. What is this change showing me? Now let a second question drop in. Who am I, beyond the story around this change? Who am I, beyond the story around this change? Let the question settle. Notice the thoughts as they move. You are more than your thoughts.Notice the feelings in your body. You are more than your feelings.Notice the story of this change. You are more than your story. Rest here, in the awareness that holds them all. Rest. Feel the space behind your thoughts, open and alive. This is awareness, aware of itself. Rest here. Here, in this moment.Present, as you are.Open to what is coming. When you are ready, bring your attention back to the room around you. Make any movements you need before you arise. And carry this presence with you into the rest of your day. On reflection Every transition breaks the story you have been living, and the thoughts and emotions it stirs can pull you deeper into it. Beneath the upheaval, your soul is calling you to expand. When you recognise yourself as the awareness holding it all, you can feel what is here, set down the story that keeps replaying, and accept where you are now. From there, your life opens, and you are free to grow into more of who you are. Return to this reflection whenever life is changing around you, and listen as many times as you need. This is the return to yourself. * * * The Return To Yourself is here as your space to step out of the everyday, to pause, to breathe and to remember who you are. When Nature Stops You in Your Tracks

Voice & photo by EIRANU: Stillness on Clew Bay, west coast of Ireland This week’s wellbeing reflection explores the stillness of nature, followed by an embodied guided practice to help you pause, breathe and return to yourself. You can picture the moment. You are outside in the natural world and you look up, and something captures your attention. A sky glowing pink and gold at the end of the day.A full moon rising over the rooftops.A lake so smooth it holds the whole sky. For a moment you simply take it in. Nature has stopped you in your tracks, and in that moment it has handed you something precious. It has handed you a pause. Your feet stop.Your breath catches.Your mind falls still. In this moment nature sweeps your attention away from the constant flow of the mind and points it at the wondrous sight on display. Here on Clew Bay on the west coast of Ireland, one of these moments arrived recently, a misty morning sky reflecting in the stillness of the water. The sky and the sea merged as one, and the landscape floated in between, its reflection resting perfectly on the water. Stand in a moment like this, and the whole world seems to pause with you. This is the pause. A moment of suspension, where time itself seems to hold still. Awe has stopped you, and wonder holds you there. The past and the future fall away, and there is only this moment, vast and open. In this suspension, even the sense of yourself falls away. There is only the stillness, and the awareness of it.Pure presence.Pure awareness.Simply being. Your whole attention is gathered here, held by the beauty before you. You are simply held in awareness, and the magnificence does the holding. Absorbed in the beauty outside you, you touch what lies deepest within you, the awareness that has been here all along. A moment like this is a glimpse of your natural state. It is so rare, and yet somehow so familiar. A moment of pure being awakens you to the reality of life. When you can step out of the churn of everyday life into a moment of pure awareness, you can separate yourself from being caught up in the experience into the awareness of the experience itself. You can realise that you are not your thoughts, feelings, experiences and relationships, you are the one who has the front row seat to the movie of your life. Nature shows you how to pause. Stillness in nature is a conscious pause, a field of resonance where everything has come into agreement. The wind has dropped. The water has settled. The whole landscape breathes as one. In stillness the water stops performing. It lets go of its ripples and its waves and simply allows. And because it allows, it reflects. The light, the sky, and the landscape are all held in the surface, clear and true. This is what stops you. Your body recognises it before your mind can name it. Something deep within you remembers this stillness, because it lives in you too. Stillness meets stillness, so the stillness within you arises to be in the stillness of the scene around you. The effect stillness has on you. When your eyes take in a vast, still view, your body responds. Your gaze softens and widens to hold the whole expanse. That wide, soft gaze signals safety to your nervous system, and your body begins to shift out of alert. The heart rate settles. The breath slows and deepens. The body restores its natural rhythm. As the surface tension of the water surrenders to the calm beneath it, the same thing happens in you. Your surface tension lives in the shoulders, the jaw and the breath held high in the chest. Standing before the stillness your body softens. The shoulders drop. The jaw releases. The breath deepens. In this state of surrender there is only stillness. Nature pauses, and in the space between your breaths you find the same stillness. You may become aware of the pause at the end of each exhale. That still point between one breath and the next is your own still water, your own moment where everything settles. The rhythm of your heart begins to follow your breath. Each beat flows into the next in a smooth, even wave, rising a little with the inhale and easing with the exhale. Researchers call this heart coherence, a steady, harmonious rhythm that sends a signal of safety through your whole body. Your heart and your breath begin to move as one. The moment you become aware. As your body settles, your mind follows. Your attention rests on the stillness before you, and in that resting you become aware. You are here, fully present, taking it all in. This is the shift into awareness, the steady presence in you that notices. It sees the sky held in the water. It feels the breath moving in your body. When you become the one who is noticing, your thoughts move to the edge of your attention, and you watch them rather than follow them. They come and go.They lose their pull. They slow their pace. This is the gift of awareness, and nature hands it to you in a single glance. The stillness within mirrors the stillness without. Your body softens.Your heart steadies.Your mind clears. This is coherence. Body, breath, heart and mind come into agreement, each one flowing together in one rhythm. In awareness you are held in the stillness of your soul. As above, so below. As within, so without. What happens within you in stillness reflects one of the oldest teachings carried through the wisdom traditions, the hermetic principle of correspondence. What lives above is mirrored below. What lives within is mirrored without. The outer world and the inner world are always reflecting each other. In still water you see this principle made visible. The sky above lies in the water below. The two meet in one surface, and for a moment the boundary between them dissolves. The same correspondence happens within you. When you stand before vast stillness, your body begins to correspond to what it sees. The stillness outside invites the stillness inside. The landscape becomes your teacher, showing you a way of being your body already knows. This is an invitation to look beyond the obvious and sense what lies beneath. What lies beneath the stillness. In this pause, nature invites you into awareness. A doorway opens. Through it, you begin to sense what lives beneath your own surface. Something within you has been reaching for your attention.A feeling you have carried for a while.A truth you have sensed for some time.A longing ready to rise. Stillness is wide enough to hold everything, and so, in stillness, what you have been carrying begins to rise. A sorrow you set aside.A grief for a loss you sense is coming.A sadness that belongs to a friend, that passes through you too. Each one has been waiting for a moment still enough to be felt. A lament for what has passed, the heart honouring what it has loved. The stillness is that moment. Stay with it a little longer, and turn your awareness inward. What is stirring beneath your surface? What is rising in you now? What is ready to be felt? Stillness gives each of these space to be felt. Only when it is felt can it begin to move and dissipate. What the stillness teaches. Stillness simply is. It rests fully in this moment, complete as it is, reaching for nothing more. This is its teaching. How to simply be.Here, in this moment.Whole, in your being.Enough, just as you are. Stillness comes through awareness. This means stillness is available to you anywhere, in the middle of a busy day as much as out in nature. Step out of the experience of the thinking mind into awareness of being still. One slow breath. One gaze at the sky.One moment to simply be. Every pause you allow is a moment of renewal for your whole self. This is the return to yourself. In the mirror of still water, reflection is clear. And when everything within you settles, you see yourself clearly too. You remember who you are beneath the experience of the day to day.Whole.Steady.Complete. Everything you need is already within you. Stillness is the home of the soul and it invites you to remember your true essence. To pause. To breathe. To return. An invitatio… This is a public episode. A Whisper of Calm in the Noise

Welcome to this week's episode of The Return to Yourself podcast. I'm your host, Claire. This week's wellbeing reflection is on awareness, the whisper of calm in the noise of everyday life. Awareness is the part of you that notices your thoughts and feelings as they happen. We explore what happens when that awareness gets lost in the busyness of the day and you move through life on autopilot, and how returning to it brings you clarity and ease. Then I will guide you through an embodied practice to pause, breathe and return to yourself. Every day, your attention is pulled in a hundred different directions. The noise of your thoughts, your emotions and your daily responsibilities drown out almost every waking moment. And underneath all of that noise, something in you is whispering. It is soft, steady and patient. It knows what would bring you calm.It knows the way back to yourself. This knowing is awareness. Awareness is always present, and yet it is easy to lose sight of it. The pace of the day and the constant stimuli pull your attention outwards. In a time where distraction is the norm, and stillness is rare, it is easy to move so fast through life that you barely pause to become aware of yourself. From the moment you wake up, life intrudes on your attention. There is something to answer.Something to read.Something you need to do next. Life rewards the quick reply, the constant check in, the next thing to consume. Over time, reacting becomes the habit, and the habit starts to feel like who you are. Moving through life on autopilot has become the daily norm for modern life. When you disconnect from awareness, you disconnect from meaning. Notice the subtle signs of disconnection. Fatigue that rest doesn’t resolve.Joy that feels distant.Time that slips by without memory. Awareness is still there as a whisper barely audible under all the noise. These whispers are gently calling you back to yourself . Reminding you there is another way to live. One where you can step back from the content of your experience. One where you can clearly see beyond your thoughts and feelings. One where you can steer your attention towards what fulfils your life. This is the gift of awareness, and it has the power to transform your experience of life, offering clarity, connection, and a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. The one who notices. Pause for a moment, wherever you are as you read or listen to this. There are sounds around you, some near and some further away. There are sensations in your body, the air on your skin, the breath moving in and out. There are thoughts moving through your mind, perhaps a thought about these very words. And there is something in you that registers all of it. That presence is awareness. It sees the thought as it forms, the feeling as it rises, the tension as it gathers in the shoulders. It has been with you in every moment of your life, steady and unchanging, through every season you have lived. Thinking and awareness are two different things. A thought comes and goes. Awareness is the steady presence that sees each thought come, and sees it go. Most of the time the mind takes the lead and the thoughts become the whole of your reality. Awareness offers you another place to stand and see your life clearly. Why awareness slips from view. It becomes easy to be so wrapped up in each experience that stepping back into awareness slips out of sight. Awareness is a gentle awakening. It invites presence. It is a gift to receive rather than a task to complete, and all it asks is your willingness to notice it. Stepping back to pause and notice is a conscious choice to make when everything around you says hurry up. To give yourself permission to step out of the pace of the day and become aware of what is happening to you in this very moment. Awareness asks you to look at your own patterns. The reactions that repeat. The triggers that catch you.The stories you tell yourself about who you are. Looking at them can feel uncomfortable at first, and that discomfort is a doorway. Every pattern you see clearly is one you can begin to release. This is where real change begins, in the moment you see what has been shaping you, and in that moment choosing differently. Awareness is a way of being, rather than a destination. Awareness is a gift you already hold, and the more you live from it, the more it opens in you. It is the stillness behind the storm. It is the calm eye in the cyclone of existence. It is the space to respond to life rather than react to it. Remember who you are. The gift of awareness is already inside you, and all it needs is your attention. When you are aware of what you are doing while you are doing it, you can start to realise where you are spending your energy, why it is draining you and at what cost to your wellbeing. What the noise costs you Living on autopilot comes at a cost to the quality of the life you are living. When you are caught up in your reactions, a thought builds into a story, the story builds into tension, and your body holds every bit of it. Your attention and your energy go with it. The energy that could fuel your joy is spent on the worry. The attention that could bring you clarity is spent on the story. The vitality that fuels creativity is spent on holding the tension. Life becomes a blur, hopping from one thing to the next, reaction to reaction, with very little of you present in any of it. The days pass by, you are there for them, and yet part of you is somewhere else. This is the real cost of the noise. It moves you from active participant in your own life to spectator, watching your days go by. Awareness returns you to the centre of your own life, with your energy and your attention free for what brings you joy, vitality and clarity. Awareness is an intervention for your wellbeing. An aspect of the gift of awareness is the capacity to recognise the connection between your thoughts and your bodily experiences. When you step into awareness, you begin to notice how your thoughts are alive, resonant, and deeply woven into the fabric of your physical being. They are far more than isolated events. You understand that being caught up in a mental narrative is an embodied experience as much as a mental one. When a thought arises, perhaps a worry about the future or a memory of an unresolved conflict, it manifests as a physical sensation. A tension builds in the shoulders.A tightening in the chest.A flutter in the stomach. These sensations are the body’s way of responding to the mind’s narrative. With awareness, you can see this connection clearly. You recognise that the more you dwell on a particular thought, the more pronounced the bodily response becomes. The mind feeds the body, and the body, in turn, amplifies the mind. In this dance of sensation and thought, you can discover the roots of your discomfort and the pathways to breaking the cycle. Awareness grants you the ability to step back, to observe this interplay without judgment. You step out of the cycle of reaction and become witness to your own experience, recognising that you are the author of your response, rather than at the mercy of your thoughts. This shift in perspective allows you to reclaim agency over your emotional and physical states. Your emotions begin to move through you with more ease. Anger, fear and worry still arise, and now you watch them. Each one becomes a wave you can feel fully and let pass. You acknowledge the feeling. You understand where it comes from. You release it. Each emotion you greet this way leaves you a little lighter as it passes, as your response comes from clarity rather than reaction. The space of awareness is calm. Awareness creates space to be the calm eye at the centre of the storm, still and clear while everything circles around it. Picture a message landing on your phone. The tone is sharp, and the words sting. Your reaction is instant. The heat rises in your chest, the jaw sets, your reply is typed and sent before a single breath has passed, and the rest of the day takes on the tone of that exchange. From the space of awareness the same message lands, and the same heat rises. This time you notice it. You see the reaction forming. You feel it in your body. You choose what happens next. The space between what happens and how you respond is formed when you can consciously take a pause, a breath to resource you, and then a return of your attention to respond to the message with clarity. Pause, and the momentum of the moment loosens its hold.Breathe, and your body receives the signal that it is safe to settle.Return, and your attention comes home to you, ready to choose. This is where your power lives. In that breath, you move from reacting to choosing. You become the one who decides how the next moment goes. Every moment offers you that choice, and each time you take it, you shape your life from awareness. When you live from tension, life hands you more to brace against. The same friction repeats. The same button gets pressed. The same pattern shows up in a new place with a new face. This is the pattern you are holding, so you can see it clearly and set it down. Every repeating pattern is information, and every one of them is an invitation to release. When you live from steadiness, steadiness spreads. Conversations settle.Decisions come clearer. The spaces you spend time in begin to feel more ordered and calm. Your steadiness gives everyone around you something steady to lean on, and your whole life begins to align with it. The tug of the whisper. Awareness speaks softly. It has the texture of a whisper, low and close and tender, and it barely raises its voice above the noise of the day. To hear a whisper, you lean in. You lower your own voice. You let the room settle around you. The whispers of awareness work the same way. They come through most clearly when your guard is down, when you soften, when you stop bracing against the day. A whisper of awareness often comes as a gentle tug. A pull to step outside and breathe the air.A nudge to rest before you are exhausted.A sense that something more needs your attention. When the tug comes, you have a choice. You can override it, push on and let the noise take over again. Or you can respond to it. Turn towards it, listen, and give it what it asks for. The mind is skilled at overriding. It always has a reason, a deadline, a list. And each time a whisper is overridden, it speaks a little louder the next time, until it becomes a tension you can feel, a tiredness that lingers, a body asking loudly for what it first asked for in a whisper. Respond to the whisper, and it guides you with ease. This is awareness in action, listening to the gentle signals of your body and your life, and honouring them while they are still soft. Awareness is in everyday moments. Awareness lives in the middle of your ordinary day. It is available at the kitchen sink, in the queue, at your desk, in the middle of a conversation. Every moment brings a way back to it. The breath is the simple doorway. Wherever you are, take one slow deep breath. Feel the air fill your chest and your belly, and feel it leave on a long slow exhale through the mouth. One conscious breath brings you into the present, and the space of awareness opens around it. Your body is the next doorway. Bring your attention to how your body feels right now. Notice where it is holding tension and where it feels at ease. The body lives in the present moment, so the instant you tune into it, you are here. Your senses open the door wider. The aroma of a cup in your hands. The sound of rain at the window. The taste of the food on your plate. Let one sense fill your attention completely, and the moment becomes vivid and alive. Awareness is with you in movement too. Walking, cooking, working, bring your attention to the rhythm of what you are doing. Feel your feet on the ground with each step.Feel your hands as they prepare a meal.Feel your fingers type out a message. Each of these is available to you anywhere, in the middle of a busy day as much as in a still room. And gratitude brings it all home. When you pause to appreciate something simple, the light in the sky, a kind word, the food in front of you, your attention settles fully on what is here. Gratitude turns awareness towards the richness of your life, and that warmth radiates out into everything around you. Choose a few moments in your day to become your cues to step through the doorway of awareness. Putting the kettle on.Sitting down at a table.Looking out a window. Let each one remind you to pause, breathe and return to yourself. Living from awareness is living powerfully. With every conscious breath, you are shaping your life with the state you live from. This places real power in your hands. You are an active participant in your life, a co creator in a living conversation with everything around you. Living from awareness is a practice you come back to again and again. Storms will still roll in. Hard days will still come by.Old patterns will still arise. What changes is where you stand while they pass. You stand in the calm eye, steady and open, and you let the storm move through. And awareness is already yours. It has been present in every moment of your life, waiting for your attention to rest there. The practice is remembering to return to it. And as you return, you feel yourself as part of something far greater, that holds every breath, every being, every person you love. Awareness connects you to the essence of life and to the sacredness of your own existence. You are more than someone living a life. You are life itself, fully awake, fully aware and fully alive. An invitation for a guided practice. Listening to the whisper of awareness. This is an invitation to pause, breathe deeper and return to yourself. Find a space where you can be still and undisturbed. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Make any adjustments you need so you feel supported. In this moment there is nothing to do and nowhere else to be. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your natural breathing. Feel the breath rolling in.Feel the breath rolling out. Just notice your awareness resting on your breathing. In this moment you are aware of your natural inhale and exhale. Now begin to slow your breathing down. Take a slow deep inhale through the nose, fill up your belly with air, feel your ribcage expand, hold for a moment, and then release with a long slow exhale through the mouth. Sigh it out. Repeat this slow cycle for a few rounds, and with each exhale, let go of a little more of what you have been holding. Notice how your body feels after these slower breaths. Notice the space that has opened. Notice any ease that is present. Now let your attention open to the sounds around you. The sounds close by.The sounds further away. The space between them. Let the sounds come and go. Now bring your attention to the sensations in your body. The contact of your body on the seat where it rests. The air on your skin. The rise and fall of your breath. Now turn your attention to your thoughts. Let them come and go like leaves floating down a stream. A thought forms, and you see it. A thought passes, and you see it go. Let each one move on in its own time. And now rest your attention on the one who is noticing. The presence that hears the sounds, feels the body and sees the thoughts. Rest here, in the calm of your centre. Open.Steady.Spacious. Stay here for a few breaths and feel how wide this space is. From this calm, listen for the whisper of awareness. Under the sounds, under the thoughts, there is something softer. Lean in, the way you would lean in to hear a whisper. It may come as a sensation, a feeling, a word or a gentle tug. Let it come in its own time, and whatever it asks of you, let it be heard. Pause. Breathe. Return. Pause, and rest in the stillness at the end of your exhale.Breathe, and let a slow, full breath fill you.Return, and feel yourself come home to the awareness of you. Pause. Breathe. Return. Stay with this rhythm for a few rounds, and feel how each word brings you a little closer to yourself. The breath, slower. The shoulders, softer. The space in you, wider. When you are ready, bring your attention back to the room around you. Make any movements you need before you arise. And bring this spaciousness back with you into the rest of your day. On reflection Awareness is the steady presence in you that sees everything as it passes. It speaks in a whisper, softly and patiently, under all the noise of your day. Every ordinary moment holds a way back to it, a breath, a sensation, a sound, a moment of gratitude. When you live from awareness, a space opens between what happens and how you respond, and inside that space you choose. Awareness releases what you are holding, brings clarity to your choices and frees you to live as an active participant in your own life. Listen for the whispers. Respond to the tug. And whenever the noise rises, come back to the three words that bring you home, pause, breathe, return. Let this reflection be a whisper of its own, a beacon to come back to whenever you need reminding of your awareness. Return to it as often as you like and listen as many times as you need. The Return To Yourself is here as your space to step out of the everyday, to pause, to breathe and to remember who you are. And if someone in your life would love this reminder too, share it with them. This is the return to yourself. If you have enjoyed this article, share it with a friend who might share your enjoyment. The Oracle that Lives Inside You

Photo & voice by EIRANU In a world overflowing with information, advice, and authority, we listen to those who make their opinions heard. We turn to experts, friends, social media, and cultural norms, often placing their words above our own inner knowing. Yet, deep within each of us lies a voice of truth that has been shaped by our experiences, our bodies, and our unique journeys. This voice knows you intimately. It feels the subtle dissonance when something is off.It recognises the patterns that your mind may overlook. It speaks truths that can be hard to accept. And yet, this is often the voice we silence the quickest. So why is the voice that knows you best so often the last one you listen to? Is it because we doubt our own authority? Is it the allure of certainty that comes from others? Is it easier to trust others than to trust your own inner knowing? The Oracle that lives in you. For thousands of years, pilgrims have travelled to the Oracle. A power they hold in esteem and turn to for answers on their life path. They climbed up to temples and sacred places with their questions, and waited for guidance on what lay hidden from view. When pilgrims embark on their journeys, they go to seek answers, and also to create a space where the busyness of everyday life fades away. In the stillness of sacred places, they find clarity, connection, and often the profound realisation that the true pilgrimage is the journey into the self. The act of pilgrimage awakens the Inner Oracle, the voice of intuition and wisdom that resides in each of us. Your Inner Oracle is the part of you that knows before you have the reasons. It is your intuition, a sense of something being right or wrong. It is wisdom shaped by everything you have lived and value. It is rooted in trust, compassion, and connection to yourself. Taking time off for a pilgrimage is not an option for us all. Instead the realisation that a pilgrimage awakens the Inner Oracle in you can be woven into the fabric of your everyday existence. This can become a practice in your everyday life. To return to yourself. To listen to yourself. To trust yourself. You can transform ordinary moments into rituals of your own. Whether it’s sipping tea in silence, taking a mindful walk, or pausing to breathe deeply, these moments cultivate stillness and presence. In these conditions your Inner Oracle speaks clearly and steadily. Every time you pay attention to your inner knowing, feelings, desires, and insights, you are honouring your Inner Oracle and your wellbeing. How your Inner Oracle speaks. Your Inner Oracle speaks through the body in nudges, in intuitive signals and sensation. Tightening and settling.Unease and ease.Scattered and steady. Your nervous system reads every situation you step into, every conversation, every face, every tone of voice, and it responds before a single thought has formed. The language of your Inner Oracle is expressed through the body guiding you towards or away from certain choices When something is off, the body tenses. The chest tightens. The belly knots. The breath shortens. There is a pull, an unease, a sense that something needs a closer look. When we ignore these signals, dissonance arises. The body, unable to articulate its truth, speaks through discomfort. This constant effort to mask your true self drains your vitality, leaving you feeling depleted and uninspired. This cry for alignment to what feels true for you, reminds you that authenticity is essential for your wellbeing. When something feels right, the body expands. The breath deepens. The shoulders drop. The throat loosens. A steady warmth settles in the centre of you, and you feel clear. When you align with your inner guidance, you experience a resurgence of energy and a sense of purpose. Your Inner Oracle is your early warning system. The body’s way of reminding you to listen, to trust, and to return to your inner alignment. The mind catches up later and looks for the reasons, while the body already knows what is true for you. Every voice before your own. From your earliest years, you learn that answers come from outside. You learn to ask the question and wait to be told the answer. From the parent. From the teacher. From the person in charge. Asking others becomes the norm. Most people are listening to every other voice before their own. While their own inner voice waits its turn. The expert, the specialist, the advisor, the person with the qualifications and the years of experience, their voice is the authority you listen to first. The colleague who sounds sure, the friend with a strong opinion, the voice online with thousands of followers, they influence you to consider their knowing above yours. It happens daily, in the appointment, in the meeting, in the media, in the most ordinary moments of the day. It feels respectful. It feels expected. It feels like the right thing to do. And yet your own voice holds the one thing every other voice lacks. It knows you intimately. When the expert and your body disagree. Trusting yourself feels easy when everyone else agrees with you. The real test comes when someone you would naturally trust, someone with knowledge and experience, tells you one thing, and your body tells you another. Does this sound familiar? You are with someone who knows their field. You explain what is happening, and as they speak, something in you stirs. Your instinct has a clear idea of what you would like to do. And instead of doing it, you turn it into a question. Should I do this?Should I check that?Should I act or wait? In that moment you hand them the decision. They answer from where they stand. Their expertise speaks and you give it credence. They sound certain, and certainty sounds like the truth. In the moment, confidence and truth can sound exactly alike. The mind is persuaded, while the body senses the difference and resists. While others may possess expertise, they do not know you as intimately as you know yourself. They offer guidance shaped by their experiences and training, but they cannot sense the nuances of your inner landscape. The expert knows their subject. You know yourself. Their expertise is real and valuable, and it covers the part of the picture they can see. They see one moment of your life. You live the whole of it, and you live with whatever comes next. Speaking up to express your inner voice even when it sounds like you are disagreeing with the expert takes guts. Honouring yourself doesn’t mean disrespecting the expert. It means you recognise that something is off for you that needs to be listened to, expressed and heard. When you can say, I hear your expertise and I hear my body’s response telling me something feels off, you can then open a wider discussion to investigate further until your body finds ease. If you keep your feelings to yourself, if you hold back that something feels off, they may remain unaware of your deeper needs. It is your responsibility to bring your inner voice to the table, to complement their expertise. Why agreeing feels easier. When an expert asks you to trust them, their reassurance offers relief to the mind. It lets you set the concern down. It lets you trust the person in front of you. It lets you move on with your day. Following your own knowing asks more from you. If you don’t take the expert reassurance and you continue to question, you may find something else to face. An underlying issue waiting to be detected. Hidden out of sight yet you know it is there. Your authority on yourself is valid. Your lived experience gives you insight that deserves to be heard, as much as any years of study. When you express that something feels misaligned, and the expert listens, you create space for a deeper understanding, a collaborative exploration that honours both the inner and outer voices. However, if you remain silent, if you swallow your truth to appease authority, you risk bearing the weight of your own unvoiced wisdom. And when your inner authority was right all along, this hits hard. You hold the disappointment of knowing that y… This is a public episode. The Sacred Pause of the Equinox

Photo, voice and sounds by EIRANU Twice a year something extraordinary happens across the whole of the Earth at the same time and we are in the midst of it now. As the sun crosses the celestial equator, a remarkable phenomenon occurs when day and night are equal across the entire Earth. Here, the northern hemisphere receives the Autumn Equinox, while the Southern Hemisphere receives the Vernal Spring Equinox. The sun rises and sets in perfect symmetry, casting equal light and shadow on every corner of the globe. This is more than an astronomical event; it is a cosmic symphony playing in unison, a rare moment when the entire world experiences balance at the same time. The Equinox as a Cosmic Breath. The Equinox is like the Earth taking a deep breath and holding it, a moment of stillness in the cosmic dance. It is the universe pausing to reflect, to realign, to remember the harmony that underlies all life. The Equinox invites us to reflect on the light and shadow we carry, to honour both the joy and the sorrow, the strength and the vulnerability. This is a call to presence, an opportunity to reconnect with the inner essence of who we truly are. The Equinox reminds us of our shared existence. Imagine billions of people, spread across continents and cultures, all experiencing the same moment of equilibrium. Wherever you are in the world, you experience the same celestial event. This is a powerful reminder of our interconnectedness. A sacred pause in the dance of time.A stillness while the cosmic scales are balanced.A breath of unity that transcends our differences. In a world often divided by borders, beliefs, and identities, the Equinox is a unifying force. It collapses distance and separation, inviting us to remember that we are part of a larger whole. That we are threads woven into the fabric of the universe, each contributing to the tapestry of existence. The Equinox has long been revered. The ancients understood the significance of the Equinox. They revered it by building sacred stone alignments that wake only at the daylight of equinox. They designed chambers where the rising sun reaches in along a passage to illuminate the stone inside that for the rest of the year remains in darkness. And they let the moment align them before they walked into the rest of the year. They went to that much effort for one reason. They knew this balance meant something. They knew it was rare. They knew it asked to be honoured. They knew its significance. Much of that knowing has slipped away, the old markers, the thresholds, the turning points of the year. This is what the Equinox calls us to remember. The Equinox is a cosmic threshold to cross. As the day and night find equilibrium, so too does our internal rhythm. The body, ever attuned to the cycles of nature, responds instinctively. As an embodied experience, the Equinox may be felt as a subtle shift, a slight recalibration of energy. It marks a threshold to realign with the harmony of the earth. It invites us to step into the stillness of our own being. It reminds us that balance is something we return to. Being in balance means we are held in a state of coherence, where all parts are in resonance with each other. The heart beats in rhythms of contraction and release. The breath flows in cycles of inhalation and exhalation. The body adapts in response to the cycles of nature. Earth tilts, the seasons change, and life adapts in response. At this shared moment of the Equinox, we too are called to seek balance within ourselves. When we return to balance, we align ourselves with the natural order, and in doing so, we contribute to the balance of the world. The Equinox is a return to balance. In the wondrous dance of the cosmos, balance is the pulse that sustains life. It is the foundational law upon which existence rests. The Equinox, with its perfect symmetry of light and dark, serves as a global reminder to return to balance, both within and without. It is finding an equilibrium between opposites of light and shadow. Of expansion and contraction.Of action and rest.Of holding on and letting go It reminds us that true balance is not about eliminating one for the other, but about embracing the wholeness of our being. To live in balance is to honor both sides of every polarity, to recognize that one cannot exist without the other. It is to embrace the paradox that stability isn’t found in rigidity, but in fluidity. The Equinox is a mirror to reflect on. The balance in the sky is a mirror for the balance in you. So much of the year asks you to move. To do.To juggle. To be in motion. The equinox asks for the opposite, because balance lives in stillness, and clarity comes in the pause. Balance is a practice, a sacred dance between the light and dark, seen and unseen, the self and the whole. Each one giving the other its meaning, the two belong together, partners in the whole. The light and the shadow. The joy and the sorrow. The strength and the softness. The Equinox calls us back to this dance, reminding us that we are not isolated fragments, but harmonious notes in the symphony of existence. To be the embodiment of balance, we need return to the practice our own dance. Between work and rest.Between giving and receiving.Between speaking and listening. As we return to balance, we remember who we are, each of us an expression of the universe becoming aware of itself. This is the gift of balance. This is the essence of life. The Equinox offers a sacred pause. It invites us to pause, to breathe, and to remember we are beings of light and shadow, dancing in harmony with the cosmos. As you stand in this sacred pause, may you feel the Earth holding you, the stars guiding you, and the breath of the universe moving through you. In the stillness of the Equinox, the soul’s voice becomes clearer. Intuition sharpens.Inner knowing speaks.Insights emerge. This is the soul whispering its truth, inviting you to align with your highest path. A calling to be fully present with awareness and gratitude.A reminder that life is a sacred dance in the spiral of becoming.A reflection on what has grown in you since the spring equinox. The balance point of the Equinox asks you what will you tend through the inward season? It asks you to reflect on the past cycle: The seeds that sprouted. The parts that flourished. The lessons that took root. Celebrate how far you have come this year, and trust in the unfolding of what is yet to be. Be present to what is complete, what has served its season and is ready for release, and let it fall away, the same way the tree lets its leaves fall. Then look ahead, into the darker months. The inward season is fertile ground, the soil where seeds root down through the winter. Set your intentions for the future. Plant them now, here, in the pause of the Equinox. This is the perfect moment. Guided practice: A pause to find balance This is an invitation to pause, to be still, and to align with yourself. Find a space where you can be comfortable, where you won’t be disturbed. Give yourself these few minutes to be still. A moment to stop. A moment to be here fully. Sit or lie comfortably, and let the body settle into whatever holds you. Feel the ground under you, steady, feel a connection to the earth below. Close the eyes if that feels easy, or lower your gaze and let it soften. Bring your awareness to the breath, and let it move in its own time. Feel the breath roll in. Feel the breath roll out. Two halves of one rhythm, in your own body. I invite you now to slow down your breathing. Take a slow deep breath in through the nose, fill up your belly with air, notice the ribcage rising, hold the fullness of the breathe and pause. Then take a long slow exhale through the mouth, sigh it out, feel the release, and the space it makes for the next breath. Repeat the slow deep rounds of breathing a couple of times to signal to your body you are giving it permission to relax. A slow deep breath in through the nose, fill up your belly with air, notice the ribcage rising, hold and pause. … This is a public episode. A Playful Cosmic Wink from the Universe

Photo and narration by EIRANU. Have you ever experienced something that felt too perfectly timed or oddly coincidental? One of those moments in life where something lines up perfectly. A spontaneous choreography of things coming together almost magically. A number shows up repeatedly, asking to be seen.A thought about someone right before they called youA book that answered a question you were stuck on. For a moment, the world feels arranged. These moments have a name. A cosmic wink. A sign from the universe, showing up as a number, a word, a face, a timing so precise it feels chosen for you. A synchronicity of events coinciding at the same time in a way that feels deeply meaningful. These little nudges from the universe remind us we’re not alone and that everything happens for a reason. A cosmic wink is the universe speaking to us. It speaks in many ways. A number on a licence plate on the car ahead.A song’s lyrics telling you what your heart needs to hear.A word that reaches you again and again until you notice it. Some ways are small, like 11:11 showing up on a clock. A nudge that says pay attention, you are in sync, your thoughts in step with where you need to go. Others land with a larger reach. The person who shows up offering exactly what you need. The opportunity that comes the week you were ready for it. The dream of a place, so real that you feel you already know it. The signs move through your day all the time. The world around us, our reality, streams with pattern, with timing, with echo and rhyme. A stranger says the phrase you were turning over. A book falls open on the line you were ready for. The same word reaches you three times from three different sources. These moment are meant to wake us up, out of the routine of every day life and into wonder, awe and a greater meaning. Most of it flows past us. The mind is busy somewhere else, half a step ahead, sorting the next thing. So the signs are always offered. The world speaks all day long. The question is whether you turn to listen. A sign becomes a message only when you receive it. You scroll past a quote that names exactly what you are living, and it feels as though the world is speaking straight to you. And here is the beauty of it. A cosmic wink wakes you up, and the meaning is awakened in you. The same number passes a hundred people on the same clock. For most, it is just the time of day. For you, in this moment, it becomes a message, a nod, a hand on the shoulder from something vast. What separates the two is your noticing. Your attention receives the sign and gives it meaning. Your awareness turns a pattern into a word spoken to you. So the wink is a partnership. The world offers the sign. You notice it. And in that pairing, you speak back to the universe. Cosmic winks connect us to something larger at play. They remind us that we’re not just going through life randomly. There’s a pattern, a purpose, and a flow. The universe is alive with intelligence and awareness. This intelligence flows through everything, as the force that connects us all. As you notice the winks, you grow more aware of your thoughts, your feelings, your choices, and life becomes more intentional and full. The winks strengthen your trust in your intuition. When one lands, it shows you moving in alignment with your true self. Our intuition is a direct line to the universe’s intelligence. When you feel a strong connection to something, whether it’s a person, idea, or experience, listen to that feeling. Follow your instincts, and feel the sense of being guided in the right direction. A cosmic wink lands in the body first. Before the mind explains it, before you find the words, there is a flicker of recognition. A small yes.A goosebump that rises.A prickle of wonder that says look at this. The body registers the resonance a beat ahead of thought. The sign is felt as much as seen, a subtle charge, a sense of being addressed. The mind catches up after, reaching for reasons. The body knew first. This is why presence carries so much. The wink lands as sensation, and sensation asks for an awareness to feel it. The more present you are, the more the signs reveal themselves, because you are here to feel them land. And each wink you receive strengthens something. Your trust in your own perception. Your faith in the timing of your life. Your sense that you are being held, and guided, and spoken to. Over time the winks build a private correspondence. A language spoken between you and the greater intelligence of all life. Your knowing becomes pattern recognition. This is the gift of the cosmic wink. It brings its moment of delight and a reminder that all life is connected, patterned, alive with meaning you make yourself. The same intelligence that beats your heart, fills your lungs, and repairs your cells as you sleep is the intelligence that speaks to you through cosmic winks. Something in you responds to something larger than you. The knowing you hold inside recognises the wider knowing you belong to. For a breath, something in you softens, and you feel yourself as part of one living breathing pattern. This is where the wonder lives. A sense of belonging to a whole that is vast, and patterned, and aware of you. A cosmic wink is a reminder that you are held, and supported, and moving in step with your life By staying open to these signs, you can deepen your connection to yourself and the world around you. So the next time you experience the universe winking at you, embrace it and let it guide you forward. An invitation for a guided practice. Opening to the signs. This is an invitation to open to the language of the universe. Find a place where you can be still. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let the body settle into whatever holds you. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Feel the inhale arrive.Feel the exhale release. Let the breath be slow and deep. Take a slow breath in through the nose, fill the belly with air, feel the ribcage widen, and then release through the mouth with a long exhale, sounded out with a sigh. Repeat the cycle of slow deep breathing, and let a little more ease settle with each exhale. Feel the body soften, feel the tension loosen, feel the sense of ease flowing through each breath. Now bring to mind a wink the world has offered you. A repeated number, a synchronous timing, a word that spoke to you, a person who showed up at the hour you needed them. Hold this moment in your awareness. Feel how it lands in the body. Notice the sensations that arise as you recall when the universe was speaking, and you were there to hear it. Perhaps you feel goosebumps, or butterflies in your tummy or a tingle in your spine. Stay with that sensation. Let it fill you. This is the resonance of belonging, the body recognising a sign that has meaning for it. And as you rest here, set an intention to be open for the days ahead. A readiness to notice. A willingness to receive.A responsiveness to engage. Watch for the number, the word, the timing that feels chosen. And when it comes, pause. Feel it land. Let it be meaningful. As you go back to your day, carry this openness with you. The world is speaking. And you are listening. On reflection The winks were always there waiting. The number, the timing, the face at the door, the book that fell open on the exact page. They stream through your awareness every day, offered freely, waiting for the turn of your attention. What changes everything is you. Awake to it. Present to it.Aware of it.Willing to feel it land in the body and let it mean something. The universe, alive with pattern, has been winking all along, waiting for the moment you look up and wink back. This is the return to yourself. The Gift of Autumn

Photo & narration by EIRANU You can feel it in the evenings now. The light lowers. The air cools. The pull toward indoors. Summer is loosening its hold. Autumn is drawing in. We are in the crossing. That in between time where one season closes and the next begins, where the last of the summer lingers in a warm afternoon even as the season turns. You feel it before the mind names it. The body knows this turn. It responds to the knowing. Every season has its purpose. The year moves in a rhythm, and each season carries its own part in it. Spring births and plants. Summer grows and expresses. Autumn gathers and releases. Winter rests and renews. Each one depends on the season before it. The spring rises only from what rested through the dark. The harvest comes only from what was left to ripen. The whole year turns as a choreography of giving and gathering, doing and resting. And somewhere along the way, we stepped out of that rhythm. We turned the seasons into scenery. Weather passing outside the window, while our lives are built around a pace in the deep of winter more suited to the height of summer. Lit rooms, heated air, the turning of the year barely registers. Yet the body still remembers the rhythm. It still knows. To embrace the gift of autumn is to let the body do what it already knows how to do at this time of year. So pause here, and take stock. Notice the pace you have been holding, season after season, bright or dark. And feel this season inviting you to slow down and let go. Autumn is the exhale of the year. Think of the year as one long breath. Spring is the inhale, the rising and the reaching. Summer is the fullness, held at the top of the breath. Autumn is the long exhale, the releasing and the letting go. And winter is the pause, still and open, before the next breath begins. The inhale is the push. Always rising. Always growing. Always reaching for more. The exhale is the release and creating space for the next inhale. Autumn is the season that naturally exhibits the exhale. The letting go. The setting downThe settling in. The drawing of the breath all the way out, so the next one can come in full. What autumn is known for. Autumn is a season built to nurture as we turn from fullness toward rest. It teaches us about tending to ourselves. It offers the gathering in. This is the harvest, the reaping of all that grew. It is the moment to gather what the year has grown in you, and to receive it. To take stock of the fullness of what summer delivered. To let it be acknowledged, before the next season begins. It offers the letting go in a glorious way. The leaves turn gold and copper and crimson, in the very act of falling. That there is a beauty in letting go. The bare tree stands complete, having released its bounty. Autumn shows you that you can release in a glorious way too. It offers the slowing down. The sap draws down. The energy returns to the root. As the days shorten the invitation is to go slower and to root down. And it offers the turn inward. As the light withdraws outside, it turns you toward the inside. The warmth of the hearth. The flame of a candle flickering. The warming aroma of soup on the stove. There is a pull to reflect, to draw close, to come home to yourself. In the turning of the year, Autumn provides all you need to return to yourself. The beauty in the turning. There is so much beauty to behold, when you slow enough to receive it. The light lower and golden now, softer than it was, catching everything it touches. The leaves turning, gold and copper and crimson, falling slowly from the trees. The morning mist. The crispness in the air. The first coolness that has you reaching for warmth. The branches and hedgerows heavy with berries. The smell of damp earth and woodsmoke. The sky changing colour quickly, cloud and light and sudden rain, and a rainbow when the sun breaks through. The shorter evenings drawing you in. Whatever the season looks like where you are, it is turning now, and to witness it, fully, is one of the great pleasures autumn is offering you. Relish fully in it. The rituals that restore you. A season is inhabited through its rituals. Small, repeated, embodied acts that bring you right into it. The foraging in the hedgerows, blackberry and sloe, the picking itself a kind of presence. The warm kitchen after, the jam on the stove, the crumble, the soup, the fresh bread. The first fire lit. The first candle against the dark. The wool coming out of storage, the cosy knits, the blanket, the thick socks. The walk to witness the season turning, leaves underfoot, the geese overhead. The warming foods and the seasonal spices. The earlier nights that make rest feel good again. The autumn clear out, the letting go of what is done, release made real. Remind yourself of what this time of year means to you. What are your favourite autumn rituals? What small acts bring you into this season? Begin them now, and let them carry you through this time of transition. The slow deep exhale. Give yourself permission to consciously exhale slowly and deeply throughout this season. This signals to your body it is ok to slow down, release, let go and turn in. An unconscious exhale is a collapse. You are carried into autumn depleted, the pace still driving you, until the body finally gives out, the cold, the crash, the long tiredness. A conscious exhale on the other hand is a release. You let go on purpose, with care, and it restores you. Same season. Two entirely different experiences. And the difference is conscious presence. So exhale with care. Match your pace to the daylight, and let the day soften as the evenings draw in. Rest as the body asks for more of it. Make the rituals conscious, the true taste of the blackberry, the real warmth of the fire, so the ritual becomes the practice. Release what is complete, on purpose. Receive the comfort, this is the perfect season to indulge in snuggling in. And let the breath itself be the practice. The long slow exhale is a practice you can return to at any hour of any day. Because the season is designed to care for you. The slowing, the warming, the gathering in, all of it is care built into nature. To live with autumn is to let nature care for you. Set your intention for the season ahead. And here, at the turning, is the moment to plant an intention for the season to come. An intention is more than a wish. It is a direction you choose with the whole of you, on purpose rather than by accident. You set it with clarity, aligned with what is true for you, and the body begins to organise around it. Your attention turns toward it. Life begins to move with it. So ask yourself. How do I want to move through this season of autumn? What care do I need to allow myself to receive? How do I let autumn nurture me? A guided practice. To receive the gift of Autumn. I invite you now to join in a guided embodied practice to set the intention to receive the gift of autumn. Find a space where you can be still. Where you can be undisturbed. Give yourself these few minutes. This time is yours, and all else can wait. Sit comfortably, or lie down. Let your body settle into whatever holds it. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Take a slow deep breath in through the nose. Fill up your belly with air. Let the ribcage widen. And a slow long exhale through the mouth. Sigh it out. And repeat. A slow deep breath in through the nose. Fill up the belly with air. Let the ribcage expand. And a slow long exhale through the mouth. Sigh it out. Let the shoulders drop, the jaw soften, the limbs grow heavy. Now bring the summer to mind. Whatever it gave you. The long light. The warmth. The ease. The JOY. Let those moments return, and feel them in the body. And on the next exhale, offer the summer your gratitude. Say softly within. “Thank you. I received you. I carry your warmth with me.” Let the summer season close, with gratitude, held completely. Now feel the turn of the wheel of … This is a public episode. Awakening to the Extraordinary

Life moves through a series of moments. Most are ordinary and follow the familiar rhythm of the day. Get out of bed.Go about the day.Fall back into bed. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. The days blur, one into the next, and we move through them half awake, and the wonder of life slips past us into the mundane. So much of life is lived on autopilot. Same old, same old. Yet now and again, a moment arrives that is extraordinary. A moment so striking, so far beyond the everyday, that it stops you in your tracks and stuns you awake. For a breath, you stand in another reality, and you remember that life is far more than the routine you had sunk into. These moments are often brief. Yet their imprint reaches deep. They leave a mark on the soul, reshaping how you see reality. The extraordinary comes as an invitation. To expand your awareness. To rise above the routine. To see the world with fresh eyes. These moments come to wake us up. To shake us from the trance, and remind us to truly see again. The moments that wake us. They take many forms, and you will know them when they come. A natural wonder that stops your breath. A sky of blazing red and gold at sunset. A vast display of stars on a clear night.A dancing array of northern lights. A sudden clarity, an insight that arrives unbidden and changes how you see your life. An unexpected kindness from a stranger, a gesture of warmth that turns your whole day around. A moment of deep connection with another. A shared laugh. A shared silence. The feeling of being truly seen. A place that feels like home, a beach, a forest, a hillside, where something in you settles and belongs. A creative spark, an idea that arrives whole, a line, a melody, an answer that lifts you. And sometimes a synchronicity that feels like a sign, the very thing you had been seeking appearing before you, as though the world had answered. Each of these carries the same invitation. To pause. To feel the wonder. To find the meaning. These extraordinary moments serve to wake you from the same old rhythm of the day, back into the fullness of being alive. Awareness is the doorway Awareness is what opens the extraordinary to you in the midst of the ordinary. Acting as a filter that decides what you notice, and what slips past. The doorway through which a new perception enters. When you cultivate awareness, you begin to see beneath the surface. The subtle beauty in an ordinary day. The way all things are woven together. The sacred that lives inside the plain and the everyday. What lifts a moment beyond the ordinary? A moment turns extraordinary when you are fully present, awake to the detail, the feeling, the connection you would otherwise pass by. It turns extraordinary when it moves you, when awe, or joy, or even sorrow rises and leaves its mark. It turns extraordinary when it surprises you, when something new breaks the pattern of the day and awakens your senses. It turns extraordinary when it carries meaning, a threshold crossed, a truth understood, a step into who you are becoming. It turns extraordinary when it is shared, when laughter, or closeness, or the feeling of being truly seen reminds you that you belong to a larger existence. It turns extraordinary when it lifts you through beauty, through creation, through a sense of the sacred drawing near. It turns extraordinary when it aligns with what you hold most true, when it sounds like your own essence, and you feel wholly yourself. And sometimes it turns extraordinary only later, in the stillness of reflection, when you return to it and understand at last what it came to show you. The extraordinary changes you. This is the transformation it brings. The extraordinary is a mirror It reflects your own capacity to change. It shows you what becomes possible when you step beyond the edges of the familiar, open yourself to the unknown, and allow yourself to be truly seen. In these moments you often discover what was waiting within you. A strength you had forgotten. A creativity you had set aside. A deeper meaning of who you are. And the extraordinary is fleeting, a glimpse of something luminous, here and then gone. Yet its passing is part of its gift. Even as the moment fades, its imprint stays. It reshapes your reality by changing how you perceive, widening what you can see, and offering you a new way of looking. These moments become markers along the way, drawing you toward a fuller awareness and a deeper understanding. They shape your choices. They inform your values. They colour the way you connect to life. The extraordinary becomes part of your story, a thread woven through the whole of your existence. The turning of awareness. Awareness deepens in cycles like a spiral. Each extraordinary moment moves in circular motion through awakening, integration, and change, and then begins again, each turn opening a new level of understanding, a closer connection to yourself and to the world. Growth comes in turns and returns, in insight and reflection, rather than a straight line drawn from here to there. And each turn carries you a little nearer to your true self. The extraordinary comes to awaken you to all that is possible, within you and around you. The power of perception. Perception is the lens through which you live your reality. It shapes what you believe, colours what you feel, and guides what you do. As awareness grows, you begin to see past your conditioned responses and your habitual patterns. You open to fresh possibility, to new perspective, to another way of being. The extraordinary invites you to widen that lens. To see the world as it is, and also as it could be. To question the assumptions you have carried, to soften the limits you have drawn, and to open toward the unknown. How the extraordinary returns you to yourself. So much of the time, we live inside limits of our own making. A smaller, closed version of who we are, shaped by routine, by old beliefs, by the narrow way we have come to see ourselves. The extraordinary breaks those limits open. It shows you that the world holds far more than you had seen, and, in the same breath, that you hold far more than you had allowed. In a moment of awareness of the extraordinary, the awe you feel, the wonder, the sense that such things can happen, widens your view of the world, and your view of yourself along with it. This is a gift of expansion within. You expand with more possibility beyond your self imposed limits. For you are more than how you have seen yourself. Larger, freer, more alive. And each time the extraordinary opens you, it hands you back to that fuller self, waiting beneath the limits. This is the return the extraordinary offers. A return to the whole of who you are. An invitation for a guided practice. Awakening your awareness. This is an invitation to bring your full awareness to this single moment. Find a space where you can be still and undisturbed. In this moment you have no where else to be and nothing else to do. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Allow your breath to slow down and deepen. Take a slow deep inhale through the nose, fill up your belly with air, feel your rib cage expand and pause before releasing with a slow long exhale through the mouth with a sigh out. Repeat this slow, deep breathing cycle, and as you do invite a little more relaxation to arrive with each exhale. Now widen your awareness to this moment, exactly as it is. The sounds around you, near and far. The air upon your skin. The weight of your body, held by your seat, the heaviness of your feet on the ground. Now open your eyes and allow your awareness to take in what is around you. Rest your attention on one small thing, and truly see it, as though for the first time. Notice its detail, its texture, its living presence. Let it become extraordinary under your gaze. Feel how awareness of the extraordinary lands in your body, what a sensation of awe and wonder feels like, how aliveness feels, how your perception changes and expands. Feel the expansion in your body and recognize it. This is awareness. It is waiting for you to arrive, and truly notice. And in the noticing, the ordinary turns luminous. When you rise, carry this new found awareness with you. The extraordinary is here, in this moment, waiting for you to see it. On reflection Your life is a unique expression of the extraordinary. It is a testament to the transforming power of awareness, and to the beauty of stepping into the unknown. So welcome the cycles of awakening and integration, the widening of your perception, and the wonder of your own unfolding. Each moment of awareness is an opening. A chance to awaken to the extraordinary within you, and to shape your reality with intention and purpose. This is the return to yourself. The One You Were Waiting on All Along

We come to know ourselves fully in the presence of others. Alone, we can only see ourselves through our own eyes. How we come to know who we are is shaped as much by how others see us. In the company of the people around us, we are reflected back, enabling us to catch sight of parts of ourselves that only relating can reveal. Relating both shapes us and shows us who we are. With some people we become more alive. With others we slowly fade. Those that expand you feel like sunlight. You grow in them. There is respect between you, an openness, and values that sit alongside your own. Their conversation expands you, drawing out fresh thought and clearer sight. You are encouraged to reach further, and welcomed exactly as you are, vulnerabilities and all. Your wins are celebrated freely. Your hard times are held with grace. You leave their company restored, alive, and more of yourself. In contrast, those that deplete you feel like a slow drain. You come away tired, and somehow smaller. The giving goes one way. The talk turns to criticism, or circles the same conflict, and you find yourself choosing every word with care. Your hopes are answered with doubt, your growth treated as a threat rather than a joy. Slowly, the effort of holding it together draws you away from yourself. You leave these people drained, and less of yourself. And it begins so slowly you can hardly name it. You begin to doubt yourself. You second guess your own thoughts, your own feelings, wondering if they are valid, or if you are asking too much. You begin to shrink. You make yourself smaller to fit in, setting your own needs aside, again and again, until you forget you had them. You begin to dim. The colour of you.The spark that ignites you.The creativity within you. All fades into obligation, and something like fear. And however much you give, the closeness you long for stays just out of reach. You feel yourself slowly disappear. Does this sound familiar? What if this was about far more than them? It was always about you When a relationship or friendship like this ends, you spend a long time reflecting on the other person. Who they turned out to be. What they did. Where it went wrong. And all of that is real. Yet underneath, the real subject is closer to home. It’s about your relationship with yourself. Because any relationship or friendship serves as a mirror. More than anything else, it shows you how you see yourself. Your worth. Your authenticity.Your boundaries. What you felt in relating to that person, the doubt, the shrinking, the reaching, was showing you where you had handed your worth to someone else to hold. Where you had stopped valuing yourself, and waited for them to do it for you. The mirror shows the shadow side too. A mirror shows all of your reflection. The good. The tender. The radiant. And the parts you would rather look away from. This is the shadow side. The aspects of yourself you have set aside, denied, or struggled to accept. Relationships bring them to the surface, because another person reflects them straight back to you. Notice what stirs a strong reaction in you when you see it in someone else. The trait that irritates you.The behaviour you react to sharply. The lack of tolerance you hold. Often it is showing you something you carry in yourself, and you have refused to own. What you deny in yourself, you tend to see, and judge, in others. So the healing work is to turn toward it, and ask. What does this stir in me? What in myself am I struggling to accept? What am I denying that I see in them? And then to tend to that part within yourself, rather than cast it out. To allow it.To heal it.To let it resolve within you. This is the deep work. When you can embrace what you once had rejected, it settles and integrates as part of you. When you resolve it in yourself, you release the judgement. The next time something similar arises, it holds far less charge, and you carry a lighter self into how you relate to it. This is how the release begins. When you come to terms with the reality that it couldn’t have been any other outcome, you can stop analysing how the other treated you and look at what you allowed. It happened exactly as it was meant to. It couldn’t have been any different. The getting to know each other, the uplift, the potential, the slow unravelling, the heartbreak in the ending. All of it came to bring you here, to this reckoning with your own worth. Until you tend to those unresolved parts of yourself that came to light, you will continue to lose yourself in relationship to others. The friction itself was the teacher. Every point of discomfort was showing you where you had drifted out of alignment with yourself. The relationship did its work. It carried you, by the hardest road, back toward yourself. The direction you decide on. When someone devalues you, you come to a fork in the road. In one direction, you take their verdict as the truth of you. You let their judgment become the final word on your worth, and you carry it forward, diminished, believing what they decided about you. In the other direction, you see yourself clearly. Your worth was always yours to hold, beyond their giving or their taking. It was yours the whole time, and it stays yours, however they treated you. One way breaks you. The other grows you. And the choice, though it rarely feels like one, is yours alone. Loving yourself back to life. And here is the revelation at the centre of it all. The love you were looking for from them is the love you are here to give yourself. The seeing for who you are. The tenderness you longed for. The sense of being enough as you are. You were waiting for another person to hand it to you, and all along it was yours to give, from within. Come back to your own heart. Turn to yourself with the care you offer everyone else. And you can find, waiting there, the very thing you had been searching for all along. Your own love for yourself, unconditional and real. When you hold your own worth, you love from wholeness, rather than need. You offer yourself as an equal, rather than reaching for someone to complete you. Choosing yourself opens you further. It makes you a more resonant presence in the way you relate to others, capable of a closeness the old shrinking kept out of reach. You are enough. You are whole. You are worthy of your own love. An invitation for a guided practice. Coming home to your own worth. This is an invitation to return to yourself, and to offer yourself your own love. Find a space where you can be undisturbed. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. There is nothing you need to do and nowhere else you need to be in this moment. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Feel the inhale arrive.Feel the exhale release. Take a slow breath in through the nose, fill up your belly with air, let your chest expand, hold it for a moment and then let it sigh out through the mouth, long and slow. And repeat for a few cycles of lond slow deep inhalation through the nose, hold, and then a long slow exhalation through the mouth, sigh it out. Now bring to mind a time you felt devalued, disrespected or diminished. A moment someone made you doubt your own worth. Stay with this memory as long as feels safe. Notice where it sits in the body. The tightening. The heaviness. The heart ache.Rest your attention there, softly, and breathe into it slowly and deeply. And now, offer yourself the words you had been waiting to hear from someone else. I see you. You are enough. You are worthy, exactly as you are. Say them slowly, and let them land. I see you. You are enough. You are worthy, exactly as you are. Feel what shifts as you give yourself what you had been seeking outside of you. This is the love that was always yours to give. And it begins here, with you. Give yourself whatever you need in this moment. Some tenderness, some affection, some love, an embrace. When you are ready, open your eyes and come back to the room, carry what you have experienced back into your day. You are the one you have been waiting for all along. On reflection The devaluation you went through carried an unexpected gift. It was a signpost to show you the way home. The love you seek in others is a love you carry within, waiting for you to turn toward it. So let the relationship be the teacher it was designed to be. Let it show you your own worth, and hand you back to yourself. And as you return to yourself, your relationships begin to change with you. You draw closer to those who resonate with who you now are, and the ones that need you to shrink fall away. This was the purpose all along. Relationship are here to help you become more fully yourself, rather than to dissolve into another. The more love you give yourself, the more love you can receive. The love you were looking for was here all along. It was always yours to give. This is the return to yourself. Subscribe to EIRANU for free to receive new posts. A Rejuvenation Beyond the Reversal of Aging

Youthfulness is the elixir of life. We long to relive aspects of it, and we spend a fortune to preserve it. What felt ordinary while we lived it, we come to value more when it is faded. Youth, as they say, is wasted on the young. As the years gather, something shifts. Our looks. Our standing. Our usefulness. And so the chase begins to turn back the clock, at least on the surface. The expensive face creams. The serums and supplements. The procedures, the injectables, the biohacking. Fortunes spent to keep the face looking young, on the belief that something done to the outside can stop the clock. Yet the years keep coming. The reflection keeps changing. The youthfulness we desire, always one more purchase away. The cost of the chase is steep. It turns you against your own body. It makes the mirror a reflection of loss. It trades your presence for comparison. What if we have been chasing the wrong direction all along? The chase was on the appearance of youth, while the substance of youthfulness is something money can’t buy. The vitality. The curiosity. The wonder. The aliveness of a spirit fully engaged with the world. That was the real allure all along. What we prized in youth was also the vitality, far more than the smooth face that wore it.You can spend decades fighting the surface, caught up in the reflection, and letting the real youthfulness slip past. And it distorts what aging is about. We cast it as an enemy. We cast it as a decline. We cast it as a slow defeat. Yet most of what we attribute to age is the wear of stress far more than the weight of years. The tiredness. The heaviness. The dimming of the spark. These are the marks of a life lived out of tune. Aging and youthfulness can coexist once we open up to the real meaning of rejuvenation. True rejuvenation is not reversing aging it is a maintenance of youthfulness throughout your life. You can gather years and keep your vitality. You can gather years and keep your wonder. You can gather years and grow more into yourself. Aging is a natural harmony. Aging has a natural place in the cycle of all living things. The turning of the seasons. The bud, the bloom, and the fruit. Aging is your place in that natural rhythm. It carries its own gifts. Depth. Wisdom.Grace. The ease of knowing who you are. With the years you gather perspective, you settle more fully into yourself, and you grow more resonant, richer than before. So we make peace with aging gracefully, and put the focus instead on reversing the wear of stress. To honour the natural arc of a life is one thing. To carry the accelerated wear that stress lays on top of it is another. We embrace the first, and release the second. This is where rejuvenation and natural aging come together. You age in rhythm, gathering wisdom and depth, while the vitality of your youthful spirit stays with you, and even deepens, through the years. What youthfulness truly is. Strip youthfulness back to its substance, and a spirit remains. Alive. Open. Ready for the world. It is vitality. Energy that fills the body and moves you toward the day. It is curiosity and wonder. A mind that leans toward the world, and wakes to an ordinary morning as though for the first time. It is resilience. The flex that bends with a setback and finds the ground again. It is playfulness. A lightness that leaves room for spontaneity and joy. It is authenticity. The freedom to be fully yourself, openly expressed. It is connection. The warmth of meeting others with an open heart, and the belonging that grows from it. These are the marks of a youthful spirit. Vitality. Wonder. Openness. And every one of them belongs to any age. This is what rejuvenation means. Real rejuvenation restores the substance, rather than the surface. A younger energy, rather than a younger face. Youthfulness rises from within, rather than purchased, and it radiates outwardly as the overflow of a vitality restored from the inside out. Rejuvenation reaches beyond the reversal of aging. It gives back a youthful state, and brings the body back into harmonic coherence. Harmonic coherence is the state of alignment and synchronization within the body's energetic field, where all systems resonate in harmony. When achieved, it fosters rejuvenation by restoring balance, vitality, and optimal functioning across physical, emotional, and energetic domains. Embracing harmonic coherence is an invitation to cultivate a harmonious existence, where the essence of youthfulness is rekindled, and the journey of life is celebrated with renewed energy and purpose. The unique energetic vibration you are made of. Everything in the universe, from the tiniest atom to the largest galaxy, is in constant motion. This motion can be measured in terms of frequency, often expressed in Hertz (Hz) values, which indicates the number of cycles per second. Every individual emits a unique vibrational frequency made up of your health, emotions, thoughts and environment. The higher your state of vibration is, the more beneficial for your wellbeing. Positive emotions like love, joy, and gratitude resonate at higher frequencies, while negative emotions like fear, anger, and sadness resonate at lower frequencies. The thoughts we think can alter our vibrational state. High frequency thoughts promote coherence and clarity, while low frequency thoughts can create dissonance and confusion. Physical well-being affects vibrational frequency. A healthy body tends to vibrate at a higher frequency than one that is ill or fatigued. The surroundings we inhabit, the people, places, and situations, can influence our vibration. Environments that are harmonious and uplifting raise our vibrational state, while chaotic or negative environments can lower it. Every cell, every organ, every thought carries a frequency, a specific note it sounds. When those notes align, you feel it as vitality, clarity and ease. When those notes fall out of alignment, you feel it as tiredness, heaviness and strain. Your whole state rises and falls with how well the notes of you are playing together. Three ways to hold your unique tune. Resonance. Coherence. Harmony. Resonance is the aligning of frequencies. Sound a note beside another tuned to match it, and the second begins to sing on its own. Your body works the same way, forever answering the frequencies around it and within it, forever tuning toward what it finds. The higher the frequencies the more positive the benefit. Coherence is the alignment of order. It is your thoughts, your emotions and your body in agreement, moving as one. In coherence your energy gathers rather than scatters, and the whole of you pulls in the same direction. The more order the clearer your life becomes. Harmony is the sound they make together. It is the state where resonance and coherence join, where every part of you plays its note in time with the rest. Harmony is the feeling of vitality itself. It is wellbeing, heard. How the aging process gets accelerated. Life at pace pulls you out of coherence into dissonance. The stress you carry, the noise you move through, the pull away from yourself, each one scatters your frequencies and sets the notes of you at odds. Your system falls into distress and out of harmony, and it holds that dissonance day after day, year after year. And the price paid is an acceleration of aging. A body held in static noise burns through its reserves, and forgets how to repair. Accelerated aging is less the passing of years, and more the gathering of noise. Does this sound familiar? The tiredness that sleep won’t restore. The heaviness that settles and stays. The sense of being worn down into fatigue. This is the body wearing thin from the strain of being out of tune. Your body knows how to retune. It is a self regulating, self repairing system, forever working to return to balance. In harmony, the body does what it has always known how to do. It renews and restores itself. The heart steadies. The stress hormones fall. The repair that waits for rest finally happens. And it carries the memory of its own vitality. The coherent pattern of you, the one that hummed with ease when you were young, this pattern is held within you still, the way your original note keeps sounding beneath the noise. You are restoring a pattern the body already knows, retrieving the coherence that vitality has always been made of. And this is how the renewal comes. Less a fight against time, and more a return to coherence. You tune the system back toward the pattern of vitality it has always carried, and the body answers by renewing. As coherence returns, so does lightness, the clarity and the energy. You begin to feel younger because, in the truest sense, you are. Harmonic sound is real rejuvenation. Harmonic resonance is coherence offered to the body directly, in the language the body already speaks. Because you are vibration, you resonate with vibrations through sound waves. A harmonic sound reaches your body on the cellular level and your system begins to resonate with it, drawing it back toward order and ease. To promote real rejuvenation immerse yourself with harmonic sounds. Bathe yourself in the frequencies and vibrations of sounds tuned to promote natural wellbeing. Sound baths work to tune your system back into harmony, so the body can remember its own coherent pattern and begin, once more, to renew. An invitation for a guided practice. Tuning back into harmony. This is an invitation to bring your system back into coherence, and to let your body rejuvenate and renew. Find a space where you can be still and undisturbed. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Allow your eyes to gently close, or soften your gaze. In this moment there is nowhere else you need to be and there is nothing else you need to do. Bring your attention to your breathing. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Now let’s invite relaxation in by slowing down the breathing cycle. Take a slow breath in through the nose, fill up your belly with air, let your ribcage expand and then release through the mouth, long and slow, sigh it out. Repeat for a few cycles and really feel the affect on your body. With each exhale, feel the noise of the day begin to settle, and the notes of you begin to gather. The scattered energy drawing back in. The whole of you coming into tune. Now listen to the harmonic sounds being played. Allow the harmonics to land in your body. Now bring to mind a time you felt truly alive. Vital, light, full of ease. Let the memory become a feeling in the body, and let that feeling spread, warm and steady, through you. This is your coherent pattern, and your body knows it well. As you rest here, you are tuning back toward it, offering the whole of you the frequency of your own vitality. Stay a while, and breathe. Let the body drink it in. Let it remember. And when you rise, carry it with you. The vitality you are reaching for lives within you, and it answers each time you return to it. On reflection You have been taught that aging moves in one direction, that vitality is behind you, and the years only take. And underneath that story sits a truer one. Your vitality is a state of coherence, and coherence is yours to restore. The body renews in harmony. The pattern of your aliveness is held within you still, waiting for you to tune back toward it. So this is rejuvenation. The return of coherence. The retrieval of a vitality that was always yours. You grow younger by coming home to the harmony you are made of. This is the return to yourself. Remembering Who You Are

There is a feeling of coming home to yourself. A profound sense of returning to the essence of who you truly are. It’s as if you’ve returned to a place you’ve always known but may have forgotten. You feel connected to something greater than yourself, a sense of belonging to the interconnectedness of life. It’s a warmth that envelops you, reminding you that you are exactly where you are meant to be. Coming home to yourself is the steady certainty of standing on your own ground, walking your own path, living by your own meaning, rather than checking the boxes that someone else has drawn for you. And with it comes a way of being that is unmistakably you. Clear in the mind. Steady in the body. At ease in your own skin. Knowing what you feel, what you need, what is true for you. This is what it means to be connected to yourself. This is what it means to remember who you are. It is the most natural feeling there is, and also the one we lose connection to most easily. Your true self, your ground, your centre, your own note sounding beneath everything, is always present, yet we learn to drown it out and play to the tune of the ones we emululate. To remember yourself is to return to your own note. To come home to the one you have always been. The reaching that leads you astray. The world teaches you to reach outward. More to buy. More to prove. More to become. It teaches you that you need more to feel complete. The feeling of wholeness is dangling somewhere ahead of you. In the next purchase. In the next achievement. In the next version of yourself. So you chase it, and you scroll through the polished lives of others, believing the thing you are missing is just out of reach. This is the propagation of lack, that being yourself isn’t simply enough. It is the feeling that the ground is always shifting, that there is always something out of grasp. The chasing. The proving. The fitting in. The endless measuring of yourself against everyone else. All of it promises fullness, and leaves you empty. And underneath the lack, a hollowness grows. Because each thing you gain leaves the same faint ache, the sense that you have been wandering far from something, though you struggle to name what. We forget ourselves under the noise of everyday life. We fill every hour, We keep busy enough to stay away from the stillness where the truth waits. Stillness rarely has the chance to speak. Layer by layer, we lose the thread back to ourselves. The roles we play to fit in. The stories we tell to feel whole. The others we give away our power to. Each one formulated to fit into the world. And slowly, we betray ourselves in small ways. We silence the intuition and reach for logic instead. We set aside our emotions in the name of productivity. We trade our authenticity for acceptance, All of it happens a little at a time, until we can hardly hear ourselves at all. And so most of us move through life a step removed from ourselves. The sense of our purpose grows faint. We are here, yet somehow far from here. You are already whole. This is the truth that changes everything. The clarity you are reaching for, the wholeness, the peace, the sense of coming home, has been yours all along, beneath the noise and the forgetting. There is a difference between reaching and remembering. You reach for what is missing. You remember what was always been here. This is why the reaching leaves you empty. It carries you outward, further from the very thing it promises, when what you long for was always in the direction home. Home is the space where you can be yourself, no pretense and no expectations. In this space of homecoming, you reconnect with your intuition, the inner guidance system. You learn to trust yourself again, to follow the nudges and impulses that arise from within. There’s a liberation in being unapologetically yourself, no longer contorting your essence to meet others’ demands. You embrace your quirks, your passions, and your truth, and it feels exhilarating. This is why you are here, to be yourself, this is the truth of it, this is the return to yourself. What there is to remember is your own tone. Your unique signature that you arrived into the world with. Before the world crowded in. Before you learned to perform, to please, to prove. Before the distraction of living life at speed. Underneath all of it, your original tone is still sounding, as a vibrational frequency that represents your essence, purpose, and potential. Your unique tone is the resonant frequency that embodies your true self. The natural abilities you possess and your innate creativity are expressions of your vibrational frequency. This tone is not merely metaphorical; it is a fundamental aspect of who you are, akin to a musical note in the symphony of existence. Understanding this unique tone and learning how to express it is key to living a fulfilling and authentic life. You have known it, in the moments when you are most yourself. The unmistakable sense of being wholly here, and wholly you. That is your tone, and it has been waiting, steady and unchanged, for you to grow still enough to hear it again. And your tone is more than a single note. You are like an orchestra, your mind, your body, your emotions, your spirit, each one an instrument, all meant to play together in harmony. When they are in tune, they make music, and you feel it as clarity and peace. Wellbeing is the sound of your whole self playing in harmony. When one falls out of tune, the whole of you feels the dissonance, a lack of harmony, a lack of agreement in yourself, a disconnect that creates tension and unrest. As you remember your own note, your life comes into tune. Remembering the sound of your own note changes the shape of your life. When you know how you sound, you start to hear what fits you and what jars against. The work that rings true, and the work that leaves you flat. Those who let your note ring clear, and those who drown it out. The choices that sound like you versus someone else’s life. One by one, you begin to tune your life to your own note. A life in tune keeps you close to yourself. When your days, your work, your people all resonant with your tune, your own note is playing loud and clear. Remembering who you are becomes simpler, because everything around you is singing it back to you. And life begins to flow. What you once had to force moves more easily now. When you are aligned with your unique tone, life feels more effortless. Challenges become opportunities for growth, and obstacles are met with resilience. This state of flow is a sign that you are living in harmony with your essence. Your unique tone guides your actions and decisions. When you are attuned to your frequency, you naturally gravitate toward pursuits that resonate with your purpose. This alignment leads to a sense of fulfillment and meaning in your life. When you express your authentic self, you resonate with those who share similar frequencies, forming connections that are deep and meaningful. How you remember who your truly are. Rediscovering your unique tone is a journey of self-exploration and awakening. You listen inward, and you trust what you hear, asking of each choice, does this sound like me. What excites you? What makes you feel alive? What makes your heart sing? Pay attention to the moments when you feel most aligned with your true essence. Let your intuition be a powerful guide to your unique tone. Trust the whispers of your inner voice and follow the path that feels right for you, even if it diverges from the norm. Explore different avenues of expression, art, writing, movement, or any form of creativity that resonates with you. Allow yourself to play and experiment until you find the modes of expression that best reflect your unique tone. Give yourself to what moves you, the work and the moments where time dissolves and you feel most alive, reminded of why you are here. You come back to feeling your tone resonating in the body, which has held your truth all along, and you follow the breath home. You keep close to the people and the places that let your own note ring clear. You feel the need to clear away the clutter and the crowded hours, and make space for what truly feeds you. You give thanks for what is already here, and your eyes turn from what is missing toward all that is abundant. This is a letting go of the false, so the real can surface. All that was ever needed was already there. To live as yourself asks for a certain kind of courage. It asks you to allow yourself be seen as you truly are, flaws and quirks and all. Authenticity is the unfiltered expression of who you are when you have set down the effort to please. It is speaking your truth, sharing what you love, living by your own values, even when it sits uncomfortably with those around you. This is where remembering becomes brave. It is one thing to remember your note in the stillness. It is another to sound it out loud, in a world still asking you to be someone else. Each time you return, something in you affirms itself. You stand a little more fully in your own being. You honour what you value, the lines you draw around yourself. You live a little more in tune with who you are. All while the world pulls in every other direction. And there is something larger at work in this. You are part of a vast, living whole, everything in it moving and humming and in relationship, from the smallest cell to the turning of the stars. A greater intelligence moves through all of it, holding it in order and harmony. When you sound your own true note, you come into tune with that greater whole. Your life stops working against the current, and begins to move with it. This is why, as you return to yourself, life seems to meet you. The right words arrive. The timing falls into place. You feel guided, softly, toward what is already yours to claim. You have come back into harmony with something far larger than you, and it answers in kind. And it is a rhythm, rather than a single arrival. You will forget again. The noise will pull you out again.Your note gets dimmed dowm. And each time you return, a little sooner, a little easier, and to a little more of yourself than before. Every turn of the cycle takes you deeper. The forgetting is part of it. The returning is part of it. This is how you come home to yourself, over a whole lifetime. This is what the soul has been aching for all along. To be known. And it begins by knowing yourself. In the return, you are met. Met from within, rather than welcomed from the outside. And you can say the truest words there are. I am whole. I am enough. I am home. An invitation for a guided practice. This is an invitation to grow still, and let yourself remember who you truly are. Find a space where you can be undisturbed. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. There is nothing you need to do and nowhere else you need to be in this moment. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Take a slow breath in through the nose, fill up your belly with air, let your chest expand, hold it for a moment and then let it sigh out through the mouth, long and slow. With each long, slow, deep, breath, let a little more of the noise settle. The lists. The roles. The demands of the day. Let them grow faint, the way the noise of a crowd grows faint as you walk away from it. And in the space they leave, feel for what remains. The one who is here beneath all of it. The steady presence that was here before the noise, and will be here after it. This is you. This has always been you. Rest here with yourself a moment. There is space now to simply be. Only the meeting of yourself, remembered. Listen for the signal of your own note, your unique sound in the universal hum. And when you rise, carry this with you. You are someone to return to, rather than something to build. On reflection You have spent so long trying to become. To fix, to improve, to reach the version of yourself that is finally whole. And the whole one was here all along, under the noise, waiting to be remembered. You are finding your way back to someone you have always been, rather than reaching toward someone new. And every time you return, you remember a little more of what was always yours. This is remembrance. This is the return to yourself. Awakening to Clarity, Before Life Demands It

How clearly can you see the life you are living? More than just the day in front of you. The whole trajectory of it. The shape of your days. The pace you keep. The direction you are moving in. Most of us rarely pause to see it. We are in the thick of it, moving from one task to the next, so close to the details that the wider view disappears. To see clearly is to take a step back. To understand what is happening to you while it is happening, rather than seeing it in hindsight, or when something forces you to look. To be aware of what is happening while it is occurring, is clarity in motion, and it is rare, because life keeps us moving too fast to see it. So step back for a moment, and look clearly at the life you are living. The pace of it. The fullness of it.The design of it. Look at the way there is always one more thing, and then another, and how the day ends while you have hardly caught your breath. This has become the new normal. A societal expectation to maintain the pace, carry the load, keep on going. It looks like what everybody else does. And the pace of life is only accelerating. In the age of AI the race is on to make life happen faster. AI answers everything, decides everything, fills every gap, and pulls your attention towards it. More content designed to keep you hooked. More information flooding in to overwhelm. More speed that becomes the new normal. And this is only the beginning of AI taking over the human doing. At first it may seem like it is taking the load off in some ways but in others it is feeding the frenzy. We allow it to infiltrate our lives because we see it as helpful, one less thing to think about because we can automate it. But have you considered that it pulls you further away from your own awareness of what is really happening while it is happening? As the world speeds up, taking a pause to come back to yourself becomes the necessity to keep you grounded. AI can answer endless questions, except the one that matters most. What do you need, right now in this moment? Only you can know that, and only you can answer that. The faster the world moves, the more your own inner clarity becomes irreplaceable. Seeing clearly becomes the wake up call you need to answer. Underneath the acceleration, the stress you carry every day is wearing you down, and gradually you have stopped noticing because you have felt it for so long. At that level, something has to give, life gets harshly interrupted. A moment arrives when realisation hits. It becomes undeniable that this way of living has reached its limit. For some it arrives as a diagnosis that stops everything. And such a moment brings a sharp clarity about what really matters, and about what doesn’t. And it poses questions that becomes so pressing. How did I get here? How did I drift so far from myself? This is the truth that moment reveals, and you don’t need a diagnosis to see it. The clarity a diagnosis brings is yours to claim today, while you are well, long before life asks for it the hard way. The truth is that you are creating the life you are living. Within the new normalisation of life comes your agreement to live that way. You are the one saying yes to the overload. You are the one tipping your own balance. You are the one paying the price. Wellbeing is all about being in balance Wellbeing is a holistic state of balance characterized by the harmony of mind, body, and spirit. It transcends mere absence of illness and encompasses a flourishing existence where one feels integrated, purposeful, and connected to all of life. Strip wellbeing back to its core, and you will see balance is the underlying principle. An ability to navigate what life throws at you, stress, uncertainty, and change while maintaining a sense of equilibrium. A body in balance regulates itself, repairs itself, defends itself, and keeps you in a state of well being. A body held out of balance, in stress month after month, tells another story. The immune system dips. The stress hormones climb. The repair gets postponed until it becomes a diagnosis. Being in balance is the blueprint of life itself. It is in the design of how we function. How much you pour out against how much you take back. How much you drive against how much you rest. That balance is yours to hold, and yours to tip. Years ago ‘work life balance’ was a goal to aim for, but it was rarely achievable because life kept losing out to the hours and the energy that work demanded. So it became about ‘work life integration’. Being in balance is considered to be unattainable so forget about that and figure out a way to integrate it all before you become overloaded. When you lose connection to your own distress signal It is easy to forget how it feels to be in a state of balance, when overload becomes the new normal, your own inner signal gets lost. The steady inner sense of what you feel, what you need, what is true for you, fades away. You stop hearing yourself. You move through the day on reaction, pulled from one demand to the next, present in body and absent from yourself. In a way you go unconscious, living out the programme while checked out from the reality of your life. Your thoughts, your feelings and your body pull in multiple directions at once, and the clear line back to yourself goes down. This is what overwhelm truly is. A loss of clarity. A loss of coherence.A loss of connection to yourself. This is the warning sign we need to understand. When ignored it shuts you out of your own consciousness, out of the connection to yourself that all wellbeing rests on. What wellbeing really feels like. Many of us have become so accustomed to a state of perpetual busyness, that the deeper rhythms of our being are unfamiliar. For those who may not be familiar with the nuances of wellbeing, it can be challenging to recognize what it feels like. One of the clearest markers of wellbeing is the ability to be fully present in the moment. When one is in a state of wellbeing, distractions lose their grip. The mind is not constantly racing ahead, planning, or worrying. Instead, there is a deep engagement with the here and now. This presence is accompanied by an ability to inhabit life in the mundane. To welcome the chance to slow down, pause and just breathe. Savoring a meal. Enjoying a conversation, Observing the world around you. Wellbeing brings with it a clarity that cuts through the noise of confusion and ambiguity. Wellbeing is a clear mind free from mental clutter, where thoughts flow freely and decision-making feels aligned and intentional. Thoughts are coherent and focused.Decisions feel intuitive rather than forced.Direction is aligned and clearly signposted. For anyone not accustomed to this state, it may feel like waking up from a fog, where the path ahead becomes illuminated and choices arise with greater ease. There is an inner sense of calm and contentment that prevails even amongst external chaos. There is a sense of trust in oneself, a belief that one’s instincts and intentions are guiding them toward what is meaningful and fulfilling. A hallmark of wellbeing is the experience of vitality, an invigorating sense of energy that permeates both body and mind. There is a feeling of being alive and engaged with life. Daily activities no longer feel burdensome; instead, they become opportunities for expression and exploration. Recognizing when one is in a state of wellbeing is about tuning into the subtle signals of alignment, clarity, and vitality. For those who have been accustomed to fatigue or burnout, this newfound energy may feel exhilarating and empowering as a reminder that the body and spirit can be replenished through intentional care and alignment. The stress you are hooked on is an addiction The body responds to stress with floods of cortisol and adrenaline, and they carry a hit of focus and urgency, a charge that busyness rewards. Stay in that state long enough, and the body begins to treat it as home. Then, when things fall still, the calm feels foreign. Wrong. Unsafe.Unfamiliar. And you reach for the noise again, for the next thing, to feel like yourself. So the go go go becomes a state the body craves, and stepping out of it takes real work, slowly, over time. And here is the part that you may be unaware of. Every day you choose the pace, the noise, the busyness, you have forgotten that it is a choice. If you are choosing this, you can choose otherwise. The moment you say enough is enough. Change begins with each admission. Enough of pushing on empty. Enough of giving your best hours to the stress. Enough of holding a pace that is wearing you down. Saying enough means taking an honest look at what you have had enough of, and one small refusal in return. One yes withdrawn. One evening reclaimed. One boundary held. You restore your balance the same way you lost it. A little at a time. The way home was always in you When you turn toward that balance, you will look for the way back, and you will find it waiting within you. This is the wisdom EIRANU has been giving you, week after week. It is the real medicine you can administer to yourself. Your body is the expert on its own wellbeing, a self regulating, self repairing system, when it is maintained in balance and allowed to rest and repair adequately. Your body lives in the present moment and answers your every thought, so focusing on ease in the mind becomes ease in the body. Your attention is the most valuable thing you have, and wherever it goes, your whole state follows. Put your attention on the life you want to create not the one the world is pulling you towards. Life is happening now, and most of the day you are on autopilot, operating on a familiar program and unaware of what life is offering in the here and now. The breath is the gateway to awareness back to the present moment. Slow it down, and the body hears that it is safe, and it moves out of alert and into rest and repair. When your thoughts, your feelings and your actions come into agreement, you find coherence, and life lines up to match what you are purposefully creating. This is the way manifestation works. And it requires a repeated act to take charge of your life. Return your attention to yourself. A few times a day. Practice makes a habit. Why wellbeing feels out of reach If it is possible to create a life of wellbeing, why does so it feel so unattainable? Because the culture has made the stress feel normal and calm feel foreign. The addictive state of stress makes stillness feel uncomfortable. If you don’t have something to do it feels like you are wasting time especially when there is so much to do and there is never enough time. Choosing to slow down, take a pause, take a breath, inviting a little calm can feel uncomfortable. There is a discomfort in choosing to step out of the norm. Taking a break has been made to feel like something you earn, rather than something you are owed. Naming these is what frees you from them. The discomfort of slowing down is the withdrawal. Separating yourself from the norm is allowed. And taking a rest is yours to claim. Each time you come back to yourself and stay a moment longer, the calm grows a little more familiar, and the body learns again that stillness is safe. That is how you unhook. Slowly. One return at a time. An invitation for a guided practice. Coming home to yourself. This is an invitation to come home to yourself, and to let your body experience stillness as safety. Find a space where you can be still and undisturbed. Make any adjustments you need to feel at ease. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Take a slow deep breath in through the nose, filling the belly, expanding the ribcage and hold for a moment then let it sigh out through the mouth, long and slow. As the breath slows down in a repeated pattern, the body receives the signal that it is safe to relax. So repeat the slow deep long inhale and exhale. Take a slow deep breath in through the nose, filling the belly with air, expanding the ribcage and hold for a moment then let it sigh out through the mouth, long and slow. Bring your attention to the body and notice how it feels to give yourself space to relax. The heart rate steadies. The tensions drops. The system moves out of being on alert and toward rest. You may feel a restlessness here, a pull to get up, to check something, to fill the space. This is the addiction, and it is distracting you. Stay in awareness that your mind wants you to be busy but your body needs rest. Breathe slowly and deeply. Let the restlessness rise, and let it pass. As it passes, feel what waits underneath it. The steadiness. The ease. The return of yourself to yourself. Rest here a moment, and know that this is available to you at any hour of any day, for free, for the rest of your life. Then carry this awareness back into your day, and each time the pace pulls you under, come back. One breath. One return at a time. On reflection You are creating the life you are living, and you can begin to create it differently today. You can claim the clarity a diagnosis brings, long before the diagnosis comes. You can say enough. You can stop tipping your own balance, and start restoring it, one small choice at a time. This is the truest work there is, and it was always yours to do. Wellbeing was always beyond buying. It is a balance to keep, and it is kept from within. Choose it now, while the choice is fully yours. This is the return to yourself. The Art of Receiving

Receiving gracefully is an art form that society struggles with. Someone pays you a compliment, and watch what you do with it. You brush it aside. You hand it straight back. You explain it away. Anything to keep it from landing. Accepting praise can feel like an act of vanity or entitlement. The instinct to deflect is a protective mechanism, a way to avoid being seen as self-centered or egotistical. Yet, beneath this surface lies a deeper truth: the refusal to accept praise is a refusal to acknowledge one’s own inner worth. At the heart of this reflex is the echo of unworthiness, a limiting self belief that one does not truly deserve the good that is offered. In this moment, the instinct to reject becomes a self-soothing response. This belief of unworthiness, may have been formed in childhood, through experiences of comparison, criticism, or neglect. It festers in the subconscious, creating a barrier to receiving not only compliments but also love, support, and abundance. The compliment deflected. The help waved away. The insistence that you are fine, when you are far from it. It is easier to push away the truth than to accept it. Yet, in doing so, the individual denies themselves the nourishment offered. They deny the opportunity to grow into the person they are meant to be. Receiving requires a surrendering of our defences, inviting us to open ourselves to the gifts and support of others. This openness can feel unsettling, as it asks us to release our grip on self-reliance and embrace the notion that we are deserving of care and abundance. Why receiving feels hard. Most of us were taught that giving is good, and receiving is taking. To give is perceived as generous. To receive is perceived as being entitled, or greedy, or weak. To need help feels like a burden you are placing on someone else. So you learn to be the giver rather than the receiver. The one who copes. The one who asks for little. The one who offers a lot. And notice how differently the two feel. Giving feels worthy, and in control. You are the capable one, the strong one, the one with plenty to spare. Receiving feels like weakness and exposure. It feels vulnerable, unearned, and somehow indebted. So you continue to hand out but keep the receiving hand closed, and you wonder why, for all your giving, you feel so empty. In contrast to receiving, giving is often celebrated as noble. Giving aligns with societal values of generosity and contribution, making it a more comfortable practice. Giving allows us to maintain a sense of agency and control, reinforcing our role as the provider rather than the receiver. Yet not all giving is the same. While the act of generosity appears similar from the outside. What changes is the intention beneath it. Some give from the heart. They notice what is needed, and they meet it. Their time when someone is struggling. Their attention when someone needs to be heard. Their care, offered freely to someone in need. Some give from abundance. They have plenty, and they share it, and they gladly do so. They are at ease with giving and it comes naturally, they are in the flow of abundance incoming and outgoing. Some give from a genuine desire to contribute to the wellbeing of others without the need for recognition. Authentic giving is a practice that honors the recipient. The true giver realises that the impact of a gift is not measured by the praise it garners, but by the change it inspires. There is a shadow side to being the giver. Some give for how it looks. To be seen as the generous one.To hold the reputation of the one who gives so much.To be spoken of as kind and selfless. And here is the tell tale sign. Their giving is rarely matched to what is actually needed. It is matched to what they want to be seen giving. You needed someone to listen and they handed you their advice. You needed help and they turned it into a performance. You needed care and they needed recognition. Their generosity is loud, and it needs to find an audience. The giving flows one way, and the applause flows back. When one gives primarily for praise, the recipient may sense the underlying insincerity, leading to feelings of obligation rather than gratitude. The act of receiving becomes tainted by the awareness that it was not purely altruistic. The gift ends up serving the giver more than the one it was meant for. This pattern creates an imbalance in the flow of giving and receiving. To rise above the discomfort associated with receiving, we must discern a deeper intention of generosity, one that is rooted in authenticity rather than applause. Reframing Receiving as A Journey of Transformation To embrace the art of receiving, we invite a fuller expression of life’s abundance, transforming discomfort into a powerful journey of growth and connection. It is an invitation to step beyond the illusion of approval and to embrace the profound truth that true generosity is a gift that enriches both the giver and the receiver, regardless of whether the world is watching. Receiving becomes a gateway through which transformation occurs. Receiving becomes an active engagement with the flow of life. Receiving completes the giving, rather than taking from it. When we allow the good to enter, we open the door to possibilities, insights, and connections that enrich our soul’s journey. To give, you stay in control. You choose what, and when, and how much. To receive, you let all of that go. You let something arrive beyond your arranging. You let yourself be seen in your need. You let someone care for you for while your own hands stay empty. That is the braver act because to receive is to let yourself be loved. To be met. To come home to yourself and let someone else hold you there for a while. Nature through Lughnasadh, the season of the harvest, teaches us to receive. All spring and summer the land gives, the seed becoming the stalk, the stalk becoming the grain, the fields growing heavy and gold. And then the wheel of the year turns, and the season changes, and the giving becomes the harvest. This is Lughnasadh, a celebration of the first fruits of the harvest. It marks the time when the crops begin to ripen, and communities gather to give thanks for the blessings of the earth. This festival is named after the Celtic sun god Lugh, a warrior who is associated with bestowing the harvest. Traditionally, Lughnasadh was a time for communal gatherings, feasting, and games. People would come together to partake in competitions, storytelling, and playing music, strengthening social bonds and community spirit. Rituals often included offerings of the first grains, baked into loaves of bread. These loaves were blessed and shared amongst the community. Lughnasadh teaches us to relish in receiving the bounty of the lands. The farmer who laboured through every season now gathers in the harvest. The reward of the seeds long sown. The reaping of all the hard work. The receiving of the fruits of their labour. The land gives, and then it receives its return, each one giving the other its meaning. A field that only gave, and was left ungathered, would rot where it stood. You are part of this same natural cycle. You are experiencing the harvest too. You are open to receive. This is the way it is meant to be. There is a gift given in your receiving. When you let someone else give from a genuine intention to improve the wellbeing of others, your receiving honours their intention. When someone reaches out to offer you something, and you wave it away, you close a door on their warmth as well as your own. Your refusal leaves them holding what they longed to give you. When you let them give, you let them feel the joy of giving to you. You hand them the very warmth you know so well from being the giver. Your receiving becomes their gift to give. So let someone else be the giver this time. Let them care for you. Receiving is its own kind of generosity, and it completes the circle between you. Receiving begins by embodying the generosity bestowed. The next time something good is offered to you, feel for the impact on the body, feel for the flinch, and let it ease. Breathe. Stay open a moment longer than is comfortable. Each time you do so, your ability to receive grows a little more, and the next time comes easier. You let the compliment land, rather than deflecting it. You accept the help, rather than insisting you are fine. You take the rest before you have earned it in your own eyes. Now is the time to gather your own harvest This season of Lughnasadh, asks you to stop and take it in. To feel the weight of what you have grown, and to let yourself receive it fully, before the wheel of the year turns again. Set aside all that is still undone, and look at what has grown. What you have built. What you have mended. What you have carried. Now is the time to receive the deep rest of the harvest. The pause after the gathering is a restoring in itself. You have given all year. Now is the time to receive. An invitation for a guided practice to receive your own harvest. This is an invitation to open to receiving, and to gather in the harvest of your year. Find a space where you can be still and undisturbed. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Make any adjustments you need to feel comfortable. There is no where else you need to be in this moment and nothing else you need to do. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Take a slow deep breath in, through the nose, filling the belly with air, expand the ribcage, and then sigh it all out through the mouth, long and slow. And repeat this cycle of breathing. And with each exhale, allow the body soften and open. Now picture yourself standing in a field at harvest. The grain tall and gold all around you. The warmth of the late summer sun on your skin. The whole field ripe and ready, grown from a single season of seeds. Let this field represent the growth of your year. Everything you have tended into being. Everything that has grown in you and around you. And now, rather than reaching to do more, simply receive it. Feel the abundance of it standing all around you. Let yourself take it in. Rest a hand on your heartspace, and offer yourself these words. I am open to receive all that is meant for me. I am open to receive all that is meant for me. Feel what happens in the body as you say it. I am open to receive all that is meant for me.Perhaps there is a softening. Perhaps a warmth. Perhaps a loosening of something long held. Stay here a moment, in the field of your own harvest, and let yourself be filled. Then carry this openness into your day, and notice what begins to find its way to you. On reflection Giving and receiving are two sides of one whole, and so many of us have learned only half of it. So let yourself receive. Take in the compliment. Accept the help. Rest when you are tired. Gather the harvest of who you have become this year, before you plant the next cycle. The land knows this rhythm. It gives all summer, and at the harvest it receives its return. Let yourself be filled, as fully as you empty. Let the good in. Let life meet you halfway. This is the return to yourself. When Life Lines Up With Ease

You wake up on a Saturday morning, and the sunlight comes through the curtains, spreading warmth across the room. Your body yearns to move, you feel the pull in you to get outside, and walk in the fresh air. And then the mind arrives with its list. The laundry load. The usual chores. The never ending tasks. You feel the familiar tug of everything left undone. And underneath it, something steadier knows what you actually need today. And that is fresh air. So you decide to go out to the park anyway even though it feels like an indulgence. Off you go, the air feels cool on your skin. You breathe it in. And with every step something loosens, the choice you made to walk feels right. The park is already awake. Birdsong moving through the branches above you. Flowers bright against the green. You find a bench, and you sit, and you let the morning unfold around you. The grass is cool beneath your feet. The petals move in the breeze. The birds carry on singing, and something in you begins to answer them. And you notice something about all of it. The petals opens as a flower. The lawn is a bed of grass. The bird sings its own tune. Each one entirely itself, living in complete agreement with what it is. Holding their natural state, effortlessly, while we spend our lives striving for it. Sitting there, on the bench, you feel the inner shift. Your breathing slows down.A sense of ease arrives.Your pace softens. The worries that felt so heavy an hour ago loosen their grip. In their place comes a sense of connection, of being one small part of something whole. And it comes to you easily. This is what coherence feels like. Your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and the world around you, all moving in the same direction. A morning that flows, rather than one you force. You listened to what was true in you, the need to move, and you acted on it. That brought you into this state of coherence. When you rise from the bench and walk on, you carry it with you into your day. A reminder that coherence lives in ordinary moments, available to anyone willing to pause, listen and act in alignment with what is true. What coherence is. Coherence is the harmonic alignment of everything you are made of. Your thoughts.Your emotions.Your actions. When these align, you feel clear and your whole system settles. When they pull against each other, the clarity blurs, everything takes more effort, and your body carries the strain. Coherence is the harmony between your inner state and the world around you. All of it saying the same thing. What you think. What you feel. What you do. Everything lines up. Coherence is when what you carry inside and how you live outside are one and the same. Being in a state of coherence rests on three factors. Authenticity. Alignment. Intention. Authenticity, being who you truly are rather than who you believe you should be. Alignment, where your thoughts, your feelings and your actions agree. Intention, moving through your life on purpose rather than by accident. Coherence invites you to align your intentions with your true self, to resonate with the core of your being. It is finding harmony within, and letting that inner alignment shape what appears in your outer life. Coherence goes deeper than positive thinking and affirmations. It is grounded in what is real in you, and that is why it holds. How you come into coherence. It begins with honesty with yourself. One honest word where you have been agreeing out of habit. One choice that matches what you value. One boundary you have been avoiding. Each small act of alignment returns a little energy to you, brings a little more clarity, and makes the next one easier. This is harmony in motion. Coherence shapes the way the world flows with you and the ease you feel when you are in alignment. The moment one part of you disagrees with another, coherence breaks. You agree to something when everything in you resists it, you know deep down you shouldn’t have agreed and then you carry the cost of that yes all week. You smile through a conversation while resentment sits in your chest. You give your days to work that pulls against what you value. You know you need rest, and you push on anyway. Each of these acts is a contradiction against who you are and holding these takes enormous energy, all day, every day. You start to feel drained of your vital life force energy. A tiredness you struggle to explain. A restlessness that follows you around.A fog where your clarity used to be. Your energy expends into the gap between what is true in you and how you are living, out of alignment. Coherence is wellbeing in motion. Wellbeing is a state of harmonic balance between your body, your mind and your spirit. When you are in a state of wellbeing, coherence is always present. When your thoughts, your emotions and your actions align, your whole system comes into harmony. This is coherence. Your heart and your mind settle into the same rhythm. Your nervous system comes off alert. Your body turns toward rest and repair. And when you live at odds with yourself, your body carries the wear and tear. Sleep stays shallow, Digestion gets sluggish.Tiredness settles into exhaustion. Living out of alignment is one of the deepest drains on your health. And coming into alignment is how to restore it. Coherence is more than feeling at ease with life, it is a way to create the life you want with the wellbeing you need to live it fully. The difference between forcing and inviting. Most of us believe we need to put effort to get to where we think we need to go. Push harder. Strive longer. Hold on tighter. Effort like this takes a vast amount of energy, because you are pushing against yourself and against the force of the world. Coherence works another way. When your inner state is aligned, you stop pushing. You start inviting. And what belongs in your life begins to find its way toward you, because you have become the conditions it grows in. Think of the times you chased something hard and it stayed out of reach. Then think of the times something arrived almost easily, when you were settled and clear and ready for it. The effortless was coherence at play. When authenticity, intention and alignment come into agreement, your energy increases. Your clarity returns. You feel gathered rather than scattered. You feel steady rather than pulled. You feel refreshed rather than overextended. And your emotions reflect wonder, awe, gratitude, joy, sending out a resonance that draws more of the same toward you. Coherence extends in the life around you This inner alignment with the flow of life reaches outward, into everything you are connected to. Your relationships steady when they are built on shared values, honest words and real respect. Your home settles you when it reflects the state you want to live in. The work you give your days to sustains you when it matches what you believe. So surround yourself with what holds your coherence. The people who bring out the best in you. The spaces that settle you. The work that asks for the real you. Staying true to yourself, authentically, with intention creates alignment that breathes coherence into everything around you. This is harmony in motion, this is the return to yourself. An invitation for a guided practice. Coming into coherence. This is an invitation to feel coherence in your body, and to bring one part of your life into alignment with it. Find a space where you can be still and undisturbed. In this moment there is nothing you need to do, no where else you need to be, and you are right here in this moment, present with this practice. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Feel the support. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Take a slow deep breath in through the nose, filling the belly with air, expand the ribcage, hold when complete and then a long, slow exhale through the mouth, sigh it out, feel the release. Repeat a few times and notice that this slow cycle of breathing allows your body the space it needs to release what it has been holding and to relax. As the breath slows, your heart and your mind begin to settle into the same rhythm. The body organises itself around this steadiness. This is coherence arriving in you. Rest a hand on your solar plexus if this feels comfortable and feel the warmth gathering there. Notice how your body feels when it is gathered rather than scattered, and how the clarity rises with it. Now bring to mind one area of your life where something feels out of step, out of alignment. A yes you gave when every part of you wanted to decline. A silence you have been holding that is gnawing at you. A way of living that sits at odds with what you believe. Stay with your breathing, and feel what your body does as you hold it. This awareness that one piece of your life is out of alignment. The tightening. The pulling. The bracing. Feel where that arrives in your body. Then ask yourself what would bring this into alignment. One honest word. One small choice. One thing you could set right. Feel your body as you allow the alignment to flow. Notice how the tightening eases. How the breath deepens. How something in you gathers again. That is your coherence showing you the way towards ease and flow. Carry it with you, and let one thing come into alignment today. On reflection Coherence is the harmonic alignment of all that you are. Your thoughts, your emotions, your actions, moving as one. It is authenticity, alignment and intention, lived as the same thing. It brings clarity where there was confusion, and ease where there was strain. It is the difference between forcing your life and inviting it to flow. So tend your alignment. Speak what is true. Act as you believe. Let your inner world and your outer world agree. And watch how much lighter life becomes to live. This is the return to yourself. The Interconnectedness of Life

Look at your life and view it as a mirror reflecting back at you. The quality of your days. The way your body feels. The health you carry. All of it reflects something back, the state of the world you hold inside. And it all begins with your inner landscape. Your thoughts. Your feelings.Your emotions. The mood you move through the day with. This is where everything starts. What lives inside you shapes how you feel, how your body holds you, how your whole life meets you. Change what you carry within, and the outer world reflection changes with it. How you start your day carries forward. Wake up to a morning of worry, the dread rises, fear hanging over you, and the body responds immediately. The stomach tightens. The jaw clenches. The shoulders hunch. Start the day feeling tense and watch how the day turns out. You snap at a loved one over something small. They feel hurt, they snap in return, and now the morning is suffering. Your inner state has become the state of the room. Wake up to that same morning feeling ready for what the day brings, and the same small thing doesn’t bother you. You meet your loved one with ease, and ease comes back to you. When our minds aren’t preoccupied in worry and fear, our resilience to cope with life is available at every moment. Live in worry for years, and the body carries the cost. The fear is produced by a thought, it is not real but the body responds as if the danger is present. It surfaces as high blood pressure. As a stomach that struggles to settle. As the heavy tiredness that drains your life force. The health of the body is a reflection of the state of the mind. Prolonged negative thinking keeps your body locked in chronic stress, ongoing and unrelieved. Stress is a whole body event, involving every aspect of the body, draining its resources and preventing it from repairing itself naturally. This is wear and tear of the body produced by the fearful state of mind, thinking the worst might happen creates the conditions that weaken the immune system and your well being. The power of positive thinking frames a healthier outcome. Positive thinking is not merely a superficial or fleeting notion; it is a profound practice that shapes our experiences and influences our health on multiple levels. Rooted in the principles of cognitive reframing, gratitude, affirmations, and mindfulness, positive thinking empowers individuals to approach life’s challenges with resilience, hope, and a belief in constructive outcomes. It is all about recognizing that setbacks can be reframed as opportunities for growth, and that cultivating gratitude shifts our focus from what is lacking to what is abundant. We can move from thinking “why has this happened to me?”, to “what can this teach me and how can I grow from this?”. How you chose to think reaches into every part of your connected life. Think positively, and the good of it spreads through everything you touch. When your thinking lifts, everything connected to you lifts with it. Emotions are contagious; Your joy can raise a whole room. And that warmth ripples outward, from one person to the next, raising the wellbeing of everyone it reaches. Positive thinkers often cultivate stronger social connections, providing emotional support that contributes to the health and wellbeing of all in their communities. Evidence has shown, positive thinking can boost immune function, making individuals less prone to illness. The mirror of the world around you. Your world is a mirror The mirror widens to take in the people that surround you. What you bring to them, you tend to meet in them. And what returns to you, again and again, is shaped by what you bring to it. Your wellbeing reaches far beyond your skin, into everything you are connected to. The food on your plate nourishes or under nourish you. The home you live in brings calm or chaos. The work you give your days to sustains you, or wears you down. And the way you meet all of it flows from within. A settled mind reaches for the food that steadies it, keeps the company that lifts it, shapes a home that soothes it. A troubled mind reaches for whatever numbs it, and the strain deepens. So the whole shape of your outer life, your health, your home, your days, your world, comes to reflect the inner world you are living from. Everything out there is connected to something in here. This is where your power lives If you understand that your outer world reflects your inner world, then you hold real power over your life. You are more than a passenger in it. Tend to the inner world, and the outer reflection begins to clear. A steadier thought. A calmer breath. A choice to meet the moment with ease. And from here obstacles can be approached as opportunities for growth rather than insurmountable barriers. This shift in perspective enhances problem-solving skills and cultivates a proactive approach to life. Understanding that changing the way you think, changes your life is a powerful catalyst for a more fulfilling and impactful existence. Change the inside, and the outside changes with it. The body eases. The relationships soften. The days begin to feel like yours again. This is the return to yourself. An invitation for a guided practice. Tending the mirror within. This is an invitation to tend your inner world, and to feel the reflection begin to change. Find a space where you can be still and undisturbed. Sit comfortably or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Feel the support and make any adjustments needed to settle further. Allow your eyes to close, or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your regular breathing. Feel the inhale arrive. Feel the exhale release. Now I invite you to slow down your breathing. Take a slow deep inhale through the nose, fill up your belly with air, feel your ribcage expand and then a slow, long exhale through the mouth, sigh it out. As the breath slows, the body receives its signal. It is safe now to slow down and relax. The stress begins to ease, and the chemistry of calm moves through you. The heart steadies. The shoulders drop. The whole system de-stresses. Now notice a thought that has been weighing on you. Meet it with awareness, and with the next breath out, let it soften and loosen its hold. There is no need to hold onto that thought. Now bring to mind one thing you are grateful for. A face you love. A kindness shown to you. A simple beauty from your day. Let the feeling of it fill your heartspace and spread through your body. Feel how your whole inner world changes around this one warm feeling. You have cultivated this feeling of warmth. Carry it into your day, and watch the reflection from the world around you respond to you from that space of warmth. On reflection Your outer world is a mirror of your inner world. Your body reflects your mind. Your relationships reflect your inner state. Your whole life reflects the world you are living from within. Everything out there is connected to something in here. So tend your inner world with love, and watch the reflection clear. Your health, your connection, your peace, all of it begins in the same place. All of it begins in you. Change the inside, and the world you live in changes with it. This is the return to yourself. Subscribe for your wellbeing. Subscribe to EIRANU for free to receive new posts and support my work. The Return To Radiance

Radiance is our natural state of wellbeing and yet it is rarely felt. To be in a radiant state means an embodied vitality, clarity, and connection. The radiant state is marked by a sense of energy and purpose. It is in this state we feel alive, inspired, and radiating a sense of positivity. So, when did you last feel fully alive? Awake in your body, clear and light, with energy for the day ahead and a real appetite for your life. If you can’t remember when, it signals you are in a prolonged state of disconnection. You have forgotten what radiance feels like. Think about how you wake up in the mornings. Do you wake up rested and ready for the day, or does the tiredness remain before the day has even started? Tiredness is designed to be a temporary state of physical or mental fatigue, often resulting from physical exercise, mental exertion or lack of rest and sleep. When tiredness doesn’t resolve after a good nights sleep, when it constantly stays with you, it suggests a deeper chronic state of physical, emotional and mental fatigue known as weariness. Weariness is more than a tired body. You feel it in your mood, your motivation, your interest in the things you love. It often feels like a heaviness or depletion that makes even simple tasks feel monumental. Weariness may lead to emotional dullness. Individuals may feel detached, unable to access joy or excitement. How weariness takes hold. You feel emotionally numb or detached, as if you’re going through the motions of life without really engaging with it. Yet you convince yourself that your current situation is “good enough” even when it feels draining. A sense of dread or heaviness arrives when thinking about change. You find yourself putting off tasks, conversations, or feelings that you know require attention, often rationalizing why “now isn’t the right time.” You say to yourself “I’ll deal with that later” or “I don’t have the energy for that right now” Your mind is in overdrive. You get stuck in loops of analysis, imagining worst-case scenarios or replaying past mistakes. Analysis leads to paralysis and you stay weary. You become defensive. You feel challenged by feedback or suggestions, even when they come from a place of care, leading to arguments or withdrawal. You constantly explain or defend your choices, even to yourself, instead of examining whether they align with your true desires and values. Even tasks that matter to you are repeatedly delayed, often replaced by distractions that provide temporary relief but leave you feeling more exhausted in the long run. As we continually resist the natural changes life brings about, we struggle against the flow, depleting our energy and blocking growth, leading to exhaustion and disconnection from our true selves. The natural mechanisms that keep us energised. Your body is making energy all the time. In every cell, every moment, it produces energy to fuel your thinking, your moving, your repair, your life. When you are at ease with life, that energy flows where it is needed. When you are in a prolonged state of resistance, it changes the physiology of how the body operates. Stay in resistance for long enough and the body starts to go into conserve mode. It senses the shortage of energy and it holds back. It lowers your drive. It dims your interest. It feels like more effort than it is worth. That holding back is what you feel as weariness. Your body is protecting you the only way it can, by slowing you down. Weariness create a physiological environment that contributes to chronic fatigue, emotional depletion, and a sense of being overwhelmed, making it challenging to maintain energy and engagement in daily life. The broken cycle that feeds weariness. Tiredness is meant to be restored. You use your energy, your body asks for rest, and rest fills you back up. This is the natural rest and repair cycle that the body depends on to keep you in a state of wellbeing. And yet we resist the natural tiredness, choosing to push past, prolonging the evening for screen time, going to bed late, cutting the sleep short. So the tiredness carries over, day after day, and builds into something heavier. It becomes weariness. A prolonged state of chronic weariness leads to low motivation and heightened mental resistance to changing this lethargy, creating a vicious cycle that is difficult to escape. And so the odds are stacked against you. To find aliveness we have to conquer resistance. Mental resistance is the subconscious pushback against change, growth, or emotional truth, manifesting as avoidance of tasks or feelings, overthinking, defensiveness to feedback, emotional disconnection, justifications for maintaining the status quo, and procrastination on meaningful actions. If you often find yourself saying "I'll deal with that later," feeling a sense of dread about change, convincing yourself that your current situation is "good enough," or resisting advice that challenges your beliefs, you may be experiencing mental resistance. When something in your life needs to change for the better, a part of you can feel it coming, before you can see it and pushes back. The mind wants to stay in control. It wants to know where it is going and hold on to what it knows. So when it feels the change approaching; It braces. It tightens. It grips harder at the familiar. And that grip is the resistance. The resistance that lives in the mind, while the body carries the weight of it. All that holding on, all that tightening against the change, spends your energy through the day whether you are busy or still. This is where your weariness comes from. The mind refuses to let go, and the body pays for it. Pushing against resistance only makes it worse. When the mind grips on, the body is forced to push through it. Every time you force yourself, you dig deeper into the weariness. The energy tank is empty, because the resistance has already spent it So when resources are drained how can you improve your state of being? Recognizing resistance is the first step toward liberation, realising that you are facing the very barriers you’ve built to keep yourself depleted. To reclaim your energy you need to surrender your resistance. To surrender is let go of resistance to change and allow it to occur. You let go of the grip, and you let yourself be carried. And the moment you release, the energy held in the resistance comes back to you, because you have stopped fighting the current that was carrying you all along. Surrender restores you where effort drains you. It can feel like falling, and yet it is the moment you are held. Surrender is the conscious choice to let go of control. Surrender is an act of trust in the flow of life and a willingness to embrace what is, instead of what you think should be. To surrender, we need to first cultivate awareness, recognizing that resistance exists. This requires honesty about patterns of avoidance, fear, and control that we have clung to in our live. Letting go of control is essential, which can be terrifying as it challenges deeply rooted beliefs about safety and security. Facing fear is the crux of it all, as resistance often stems from fear of failure, vulnerability, or the unknown. Surrender means confronting these fears rather than avoiding them. When you can acknowledge where you are without defensiveness, and without judgment, then acceptance follows, You can be fully present to the reality of what is happening in the moment, rather than lost in past regrets or future anxieties. From this place of presence we can replace fear with trust. Trusting in the unknown is the game changer, as surrender requires faith in something greater than oneself, an intelligence that weaves through the fabric of existence, whether it be the universe, divine timing, or inner wisdom. It means trusting that life will unfold as it should, even if it doesn’t match expectations. Learning to surrender through the body This is how to give yourself over to surrender, where you release the grip and allow life to steer. You surrender through the body, because the body already knows how. Surrender lies beyond thinking, because thinking is effort, and effort is the push you are leaving behind. Your body already surrenders a hundred times a day. Every exhale is a letting go. Every time your shoulders drop, that is release. The body knows surrender as a feeling long before the mind knows it as a concept. So you start small. You let one grip go. You let one breath out all the way, You feel what happens. Something eases, your chest opens a little, your body sinks a bit deeper into whatever holds it. That feeling is your first proof, and it comes before any belief. There is a sense of calm emerging as tension dissipates, and then clarity, allowing new perspectives, insights, and a renewed sense of purpose. You choose faith over fear, and each small release your body answers makes the next one easier. Trust builds like this, in the body, one breath at a time, until you can hand over something bigger. You are trusting what your body keeps showing you, the ease that comes after each release, the energy that returns each time you stop fighting. Hand the resistance over, breath by breath, and the energy it spent on the struggle starts to move again, towards the life taking shape and towards what matters most in it. Freedom becomes available as the constraints of fear and expectation fade, making way for openness to possibilities and a willingness to embrace change. Joy flows more easily, bringing pleasure in simple moments and a renewed appreciation for life. Ultimately, surrender aligns one with their authentic self, enabling recognition and pursuit of true desires rather than the dictates of fear or societal pressure. Surrender is a powerful antidote to resistance. It requires awareness, acceptance, trust, and vulnerability. The rewards are life changing: relief, calmness, clarity, freedom, joy, and alignment with one’s true self. Embracing surrender transforms weariness into vitality, empowering individuals to navigate life with purpose and potential. An invitation for a guided practice of surrender. This is an invitation to practise surrender in the body, one small release at a time. Find a space where you can be undisturbed for a few minutes, and take this time for yourself, away from doing into just being. Sit or lie down, and let your body settle into whatever holds it. Allow your eyes to close if this feels comfortable or soften your gaze. Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Feel the warmth of your hands on your body. Now turn your attention to your breath. Notice the rhythm of your breath, arriving and leaving. Notice your breath rolling in and rolling out. When you are ready, take a slow breath in through the nose, and fill up your belly, let your rib cage expand, and then a long slow exhale through the mouth, sign it out, letting your shoulders drop, your jaw soften, your hands grow heavy. Notice that each exhale is already a letting go. You have been surrendering all along, every time you breathe out. Let the next exhale release a little further, and the one after that, further still. Now find the weariness in your body. Behind your eyes, across your shoulders, in the centre of your chest. Rest your attention there softly. Underneath the weariness, feel the holding. The place where you have been gripping something you are afraid to release. Leave it unnamed. Just feel where you have been bracing, and let one small part of it soften now, on the next exhale. Feel what responds as you soften. However small, something eases. This is your body showing you that letting go is safe. Now, choose to surrender the holding. Offer it to the larger intelligence already moving your life, the current underneath everything, the energetic force that has carried you this far. Let it take the weight you have been holding alone. Say to yourself: I release my grip. I trust what is forming. I let myself be carried. Stay here and continue breathing slowly. Feel the energy start to come back as the struggle sets down. Your body is coming off alert. The space opens where the holding used to be. You have given the work over, and you are held. Rest both hands on the centre of your heartspace. Feel the warmth on your body. Take one more slow breath in, and one long breath out. Feel what has changed. The weight sitting differently, your breath lower and slower, the ease that came the moment you stopped fighting. You can return here any time. Each time you do, the surrender gets easier, and your body remembers the way a little more. On reflection Your life is moving toward something bigger. The change is already here, and your mind has been bracing against the very current meant to carry you. The way forward is surrender, rather than force. You move from weariness toward your purpose the way you cross any threshold. You let go of control, you keep your intention, you take your first step, and you trust the larger intelligence to arrange what you have yet to see. And the energy released from holding comes back to you, and gathers around the life taking shape. And as the energy returns, the aliveness returns with it. The lightness comes back to the body, the colour comes back to the day, and your appetite for life returns. This is your own radiance, and it has been here all along, beneath the weariness, waiting for you to stop fighting the current and let it rise. This is the return to yourself. All The World's A Stage. See It Clearly And Choose Yourself.

EIRANU was created as a space for you to pause, slow down, and come back to yourself. Week after week, that is what has been happening here. Each article guiding you a little deeper into your breath, into your body, into the quiet intelligence that lives beneath the noise of the mind. Revealing what is already there. Reminding you of what you already know. Showing you that the return to yourself is always available and that you are the one who chooses when to make it. Whether this is your first time here or you are a returning reader, you are welcome to be here. There is nothing to perform here, nothing to achieve. You simply arrive, slow down, and remember how to return to yourself. In every moment of your day, you have the freedom to choose where your attention goes. You can choose to stay present. You can choose to come back to yourself. You can choose to take the reins of your own life. Rather than handing them over to whatever is loudest or whatever grabs your attention first. The agency to chose where your attention goes is your power to hold. EIRANU is here as a reminder, a way shower, a space to keep coming back to so the body remembers and the practice of coming back to yourself deepens. You already have everything you need to do this for yourself. EIRANU is simply here to keep the door open, to keep reminding you of what you already know, so that when the world feels too loud, you can remember: you have a choice on how you engage with the world. Each week EIRANU invites you to participate in a practice of coming back to yourself. Taking time away from whatever is going on to bring your attention inwards. You breathe, exhale, slow down and arrive in the body. You feel the calm, the clarity, the sense of being present and centred. You feel yourself at the centre of your own world, exactly where you belong. And then when the practice is over you step back into the day carrying that experience with you. Here is the challenge, how to maintain connection to the experience of coming back to yourself while navigating the demands of the reality you are in. You pick up the phone. You turn on the news. You step back to the noise of the world. The content starts flowing and something takes hold. Fear, urgency, scarcity, doom. The mind shifts into a different state and the body follows. And before you realise it, the autopilot has switched on and you are being carried along by whatever is most compelling, most urgent, most loud. And the experience of the practice wains and old habits return. And it is worth understanding why. You have experienced the difference The world was the same the entire time. The pace. The noise. The constant pull for your attention. All of it was there before, during, and after the practice. The world will always keep churning. But during the practice, you experienced the difference between being on autopilot and being present. The difference between your attention being pulled in every direction and your attention being yours to direct. The difference between reacting to the world and choosing how you meet it. Your nervous system settled. Your breath deepened. Your awareness expanded. The mind stepped aside and the body was given authority to pause, to recalibrate, to remember what ease feels like. And in that space, you felt your own agency. You are the one who decides where your attention goes. You are the one who can pause, breathe, and come back to yourself at any moment of the day. That experience is still inside you when you open your eyes. The calm was always yours. The clarity belongs to you, the whole of you, every hour of the day. The connection to yourself is still here, waiting for you to remember it is yours to keep. The return to yourself lives inside you The calm you felt during the practice, the clarity, the sense of being present in your own body, that experience lives inside you. It is part of you now. Each time you arrive in the breath, each time you slow down and listen, the body remembers a little more. The return becomes more familiar. The connection deepens. The slower, deeper, calmer breath you found during the practice is the same breath available to you at every moment of every day. In the kitchen multitasking. In the car navigating traffic. In the middle of a difficult conversation. The awareness you felt during the practice is the same awareness you can bring to any moment, wherever you are, whatever is happening around you. And each time you remember to pause, to check in with yourself, to take one conscious breath, you are strengthening your ability to direct your attention inwards. A felt sense of home within yourself that holds steady through anything. The world never stops performing but you can chose to disengage. In times gone past, the connection to the external world once had a respite built into it. Before the internet, before streaming, before AI arrived, the information cycle would close down for the night. Most broadcasting channels would go offline or reduce the flow significantly. The noise of the world would fade and we had a familiarity with that cycle. That familiarity has disappeared. The performance of the world runs around the clock. The news, the content, the feeds, the updates, the opinions, the outrage, the drama, all of it is available to you at any moment of the day or night. And it is designed to keep you watching. To keep you scrolling. To keep you engaged. To keep your attention locked on the stage. And there is a cost to that constant watching. The incessant drone of it weighs on your nervous system. Every headline carries an emotional charge. Every piece of content shifts your state of mind, sometimes before you have realised you let it in. Fear, urgency, scarcity, doom and gloom. The mind absorbs it and the body follows. The shoulders tighten. The breath shortens. The nervous system activates. And slowly, gradually, you find yourself inside a downward spiral that feels very hard to step back from. And then autopilot consumes you. The script is playing and you are following it. Your attention is being directed for you rather than by you. And the longer it runs, the further you drift from the centre of your own world, where calm resides, where clarity resides, where your own intelligence is waiting to be heard. At this moment instead of being disengaged from yourself you can choose to disengage from the world. Once you feel the weight of the world consuming you that is the reminder to return to yourself. You can admit the world is too much right now. You can allow yourself to have space from it. You can acknowledge what is happening on the world stage and still choose to step back from the emotional weight of it. You lose nothing by stepping away. The performance will still be running when you come back. The world will continue exactly as it is, whether your attention is on it or elsewhere. Think of it like watching a movie. You are observing the story unfold. You might have feelings about it, thoughts about where it is going, an urge to warn a character or change the outcome. But the script is already written. The ending will be whatever it will be, regardless of how deeply you feel about it. Your emotional engagement with the drama changes nothing about the outcome, but it changes everything about how you feel inside your own body. When you choose to stay in uplifted emotions, to stay present, to stay connected to yourself, your wellbeing rises with you. Your clarity sharpens. Your vitality replenishes. Your body settles. The calm returns. And from that place you can be aware of the world, you can be curious about it, you can be informed, and still hold your centre. But if you stay fully engaged in every event, every headline, every piece of urgency the world is offering, you deplete yourself. Your energy, your clarity, your vitality, your inner resources, all of it gets poured outward into something that was always beyond your control. And when those resources are gone, you are depleted. Depleted for yourself. Depleted for the people closest to you. Depleted for the life you want to live. So give yourself a break from it all. Consciously step away from the incessant drone, multiple times a day. Step away from the performance of the world, it will still be performing even when you are not watching. That is the way the world works. Choose to come back to a conscious breath. Replenish yourself. And then, from that place of calm and clarity, you can engage with the world on your own terms, choosing what you give your attention to and what you allow in. This is the daily negotiation. What will I give and what will I keep for myself? And by choosing consciously, every day not to give it all away, instead to keep yourself replenished, this is the practice of returning to yourself. The practice is pause, check in, come back to yourself. You can start to notice the familiar creep by the telltale signs. The mind has picked up speed. The body has tightened. The breath has become shallow. The pace of the world has pulled you back in and the agency from the practice has faded. And then you remember that the return to yourself is available right now. In this breath. In the awareness of your body in the chair. In the feeling of your feet on the ground. You can step away. You can come back to the body. You can take one conscious breath. You can ask yourself: how am I doing right now? What do I need in this moment? And when you can listen and you can give yourself whatever you need, with full permission, this is what it means to place yourself at the centre of your world. Your attention is the most valuable thing you have and choosing to give it to yourself is the most generous thing you can do. This is the practice extending into the rest of your day. The return to yourself becoming a way of living rather than a break from living. And each time you remember to pause and come back, the gap between the practice and the rest of your day gets smaller. The calm starts to stay longer. The clarity starts to stay with you. The connection to yourself stops feeling like something that belongs only to the quiet moments and starts becoming the foundation you operate from. You understand the difference now The world will keep churning. The autopilot will keep offering itself as a trap disguised as an escape from reality. But what if you can change your reality from getting caught up in the trap to a reality that you have shaped for yourself through choice and agency. You have felt what it is like to be present in your own body, to breathe consciously, to choose where your attention goes. You have felt the difference. Between reacting and responding.Between being consumed and being centred.Between following mindlessly and mindfully choosing yourself. That experience is yours to remember. A felt sense of what presence is, what clarity is, what ease is. A body that recognises the difference between autopilot and awareness. And an intelligence inside you that knows, every single time, when you have drifted and how to come back. You are free to let go of the idea that you need to keep up with the world, match its pace, or stay connected to everything it is offering. You simply choose to return to the centre. You come back to your breath. You check in with your body. You direct your own attention. And from that centre, everything else organises around you, rather than the other way around. And when you find yourself caught up in the tailspin again, because you will, that is also the practice. The noticing is the practice. The remembering is the practice. The returning is the practice. Every time you come back, you are strengthening the anchor. Every pause is a choice. Every conscious breath is a declaration that you are here, you are present, and you are choosing yourself in the middle of a world that is constantly asking you to choose it instead. Guided practice: The return to yourself This practice is designed for any moment of your day. You can do it at your desk, in your car, on a bench, in a corridor. Wherever you are. You can stay present. You can stay right where you are. You simply arrive in your body while remaining in the world. Begin by feeling the contact between your body and whatever is holding you. The chair beneath you. The ground under your feet. The surface your hands are resting on. Feel the weight of your body being held. Take one conscious breath. A slow inhale through the nose. Feel the air entering your body. Feel the chest expand. Feel the belly rise. And then a long slow exhale through the mouth. Allow the shoulders drop. Allow the jaw soften. Allow the hands go heavy. You are consciously choosing to soften your brace towards the world in this moment. Stay here. You are in the world and you are in yourself at the same time. Both are true. Both are happening. Take another breath. Feel the body settling. Feel the mind slowing. Feel the space opening between you and whatever was demanding your attention a moment ago. And ask yourself: How am I doing right now? What does my body need in this moment? Listen. The body will answer. It always does. Maybe it needs water. Maybe it needs to stretch. Maybe it just needs to be acknowledged. Give yourself whatever the body asks for. This is the return. Repeat silently to yourself: I am here. I am present. I am choosing myself. I am here. I am present. I am choosing myself. And now, from this place, from this steadiness, this calm, this clarity, bring your attention gently back to the world around you. The room. The sounds. The task ahead of you. You are interacting with the day differently now. A place of presence rather than reaction. A place of clarity rather than overwhelm. A place of self connection rather consuming the world. Carry this with you. And when the pace picks up again, when the noise gets loud, when the tailspin pulls, remember: one conscious breath is all it takes to come back to awareness. This is the return to yourself. On Reflection You have experienced the difference. The calm. The clarity. The connection to yourself. That felt experience is real and it belongs to you. The world will keep churning. The autopilot will keep offering itself. The next thing will always be waiting. You are aware of what it feels like to be present, to be centred, to direct your own attention. EIRANU has been reminding you of that experience, article by article, breath by breath, and it will continue to do so. Come back to awareness and be present. Throughout the day, in the middle of the noise, in the gap between one demand and the next. Pause. Take one breath. Feel your body. Remember yourself. The return to yourself was always part of you. It was always designed for the world exactly as it is. Loud. Chaotic. Relentless. And still, beneath it all, you are here. Steady. Present. Connected. This is the return to yourself.
