The Rizzuto Show | Daily Comedy PodcastHot Dogs, Nickelback & Chester Cheeks Unleashed!
The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile has officially arrived at The Rizzuto Show, Nickelback is coming back to St. Louis, and a farting toy named Chester Cheeks might be the hottest Christmas gift of the year. Apparently, we've reached the point where a giant hot dog is the most respectable guest in the studio.
Welcome to another ridiculous day with Riz, Moon, Lern, Rafe and King Scott.
The chaos starts with Nickelback announcing a concert at Enterprise Center alongside Don Broco. Lern defends the band's live show, Riz prepares for another round of Chad Kroeger's greatest hits, and Moon tries to explain who Don Broco is before everyone decides he sounds like somebody's uncle from New Jersey.
Then comes Chester Cheeks.
It's a squishy, dancing, farting toy shaped like a butt with a face. It costs around $30, makes disgusting noises, and could become a Christmas shopping sensation. Naturally, this funny podcast spends an unreasonable amount of time investigating a toy whose entire personality is flatulence.
Riz even reveals that he created a remarkably similar cartoon character called John Anus back in high school. Apparently, he was ahead of his time. Unfortunately, that time has finally arrived.
Next, Rafe delivers another spectacular edition of E-Memorium, where nobody and nothing is safe.
First, Riz gets roasted for launching a full-scale investigation into who secretly signed him up for professional stretching, only to discover he'd entered the giveaway himself. The mysterious man named Bo and the proposed Truck Stop Spa also receive the tribute they probably never deserved.
Rafe then revisits the homemade meat logs a fan brought to his comedy show, his shocking discovery that hard taco shells are supposed to be heated, and Riz's belief that Marco Polo was basically an international noodle smuggler.
Forty-eight years of eating cold taco shells, Rafe. The instructions were literally on the box.
The crew also takes a nostalgic trip back to Noah's Ark, the legendary St. Charles restaurant shaped like a giant boat, complete with fiberglass animals, an enormous salad bar and a truly astonishing amount of clam chowder.
And then the main attraction finally arrives.
The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile rolls into The Rizzuto Show!
Grill Master Miley and Lindsay Links join the crew to explain what it's like driving a 27-foot-long hot dog across America. They share how they landed their dream jobs as Hotdoggers, what happens at Hot Dog High, how difficult it is to park the Wienermobile, and why their entire professional vocabulary consists of food-related puns.
Moon has some extremely important questions about the vehicle fleet, including whether the Wienermobiles are numbered like the Blue Angels. He also makes his feelings very clear about people calling hot dogs "glizzies."
Spoiler: He's not a fan.
The Hotdoggers reveal that six Wienermobiles travel the country, discuss their yearlong adventures, and explain where St. Louis fans can spot the famous vehicle. Rafe, meanwhile, wants to know why a 27-foot hot dog doesn't come equipped with an actual hot dog cannon.
It's a fair question.
From Nickelback and novelty toys to homemade meat logs, biblical seafood buffets and professional hot dog drivers, this funny podcast has everything you never knew you needed.
Come for the Wienermobile. Stay for Chester Cheeks. Leave before Rafe starts serving cold tacos again.
This is The Rizzuto Show — the funny podcast where we celebrate rock music, questionable life choices, St. Louis nostalgia and the occasional giant wiener.
