The Crosswalk Devotional: A Daily Devotional Chris... - What "Life and Godliness" Really Means

Fear about the future can make us question whether God will provide what we need. Financial uncertainty, unanswered prayers, changing circumstances, and long seasons of waiting can make fear louder than faith. But 2 Peter 1:3 reminds us that God’s divine power has already given us everything we need for life and godliness. That doesn't mean we will always know how our needs will be met or when the answer will come. It means we can trust the God who knows what we need before we do. Jesus points us to the birds of the air as a reminder of God's care and provision. When we focus on fear, we can lose sight of the ways God has already been faithful. But when we intentionally remember His goodness, practice gratitude, and focus our minds on what is true, our perspective begins to change. God may provide through unexpected circumstances, generous people, simple acts of kindness, or opportunities to become an answer to someone else's prayer. Whatever today holds, we can trust that God has equipped us for what He has called us to face. Highlights What 2 Peter 1:3 means when it says God has given us everything we need for “life and godliness” How fear about finances and the future can become louder than our faith Why remembering God's past faithfulness can help quiet anxiety What Jesus teaches about God's provision through the birds of the air How gratitude and focusing on God's truth can change our perspective The unexpected ways God may provide for our practical and spiritual needs How simple acts of obedience and kindness can become part of God's provision for someone else Want more encouragement throughout your week? God-Sized Stories with Patricia Holbrook - Near-Death Experiences: What Do They Reveal About God and the Afterlife?

Send us Fan Mail What if some of the stories people tell about the moments surrounding death are more than stories? In this fascinating episode of God-Sized Stories, Patricia Holbrook sits down with J. Steve Miller, a writer, professor, researcher, and longtime student of questions surrounding faith, death, and the afterlife. Miller describes himself as naturally skeptical. Rather than simply accepting claims about near-death experiences, he began investigating the research behind them—and what he found led him much deeper into questions about consciousness, the supernatural, God, and life after death. Miller teaches courses in religion and death, dying, and the afterlife at Kennesaw State University, and his research has examined decades of studies surrounding near-death and deathbed experiences. His book Near-Death Experiences as Evidence for the Existence of God and Heaven grew out of that research. Perhaps the most important question isn't simply what happens when we die. It's whether we are ready for what comes next. Patricia and Steve close the conversation by turning our attention back to Jesus, Scripture, and the hope of eternal life. A Special Giveaway Patricia will be giving away a copy of Steve Miller's Near-Death Experiences as Evidence for the Existence of God and Heaven to one listener/viewer. Leading The Way Radio Podcast - We Can Be Like Them

The life of faith is not a sprint fueled by pride—it is a marathon sustained by grace. In this powerful series finale, Dr. Michael Youssef turns to Hebrews 12 and calls believers to run with endurance. The saints of Hebrews 11 were not perfect, but they finished strong because they trusted God and kept moving forward. Their witness now challenges us to lay aside every sin, weight, and distraction that slows our spiritual progress. Above all, believers must fix their eyes on Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of faith. He endured the Cross for the joy set before Him, and He now calls His people to follow with the same eternal focus. This episode calls believers to: Repent of sin and spiritual distraction, Cast off anything that weakens devotion to Christ, Run with perseverance when the road is difficult, Intercede faithfully for others, Keep eternity in view, Finish the race with passion and faith. Christ has gone before us. His glory is our goal, His grace is our strength, and His promised reward makes every sacrifice worthwhile. Scripture Focus: Hebrews 12:1–3 If today’s teaching stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don’t have to walk through it alone. Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld - The End of the Beginning: The End of the Beginning

Luke spent two entire chapters on events every listener already knows the ending to — so why go over it again? Dr. John Neufeld opens a new series on the death and resurrection of Jesus by showing what makes Luke's account unique: details found nowhere else, like Jesus's appearance before Herod, his prayer for the soldiers crucifying him, and the astonishing faith of a dying criminal beside him. It's a reminder that the story we think we know still has depths worth returning to for a lifetime. The End of the Beginning: Everyone knows how this story ends — Jesus is crucified, buried, and rises again. But in this 15-part series through Luke 23-24, Dr. John Neufeld shows why these familiar chapters still reward careful study, tracing the trials before Pilate and Herod and the road to the cross. Along the way, he uncovers details unique to Luke's account that reveal what kind of King Jesus truly is.

Encounter the Truth - The Kingdom of Reconciliation and Forgiveness (Part 2 of 2)

It would be nice to imagine that being a Christian would mean we never encountered conflict any more—conflict with one another, conflict within the church. But sadly, the sinful nature within each one of us is such that we fail relationally and need to deal with the fallout. What do we do when others sin against us? Jesus says to pursue reconciliation and extend forgiveness. These are vital lessons for each of us to learn
