Leading The Way Radio Podcast - Seven Letters from the King – Part 2

A church can appear strong and successful while being spiritually weak. In this urgent message, Dr. Michael Youssef shows how Jesus searches the heart and exposes what appearances can hide. Through His words to Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea, Christ warns against moral compromise, dead religion, self-sufficiency, and lukewarm devotion. He also encourages those who remain faithful to hold fast and endure. Jesus Christ alone holds the authority of salvation and judgment. His invitation still stands: open the door and return to fellowship with Him. This episode calls believers to: Repent of compromise and lukewarm faith, Wake up from spiritual deadness, Reject the world’s deception, Hold fast to Biblical Truth, Intercede faithfully for the Church, Live with wholehearted devotion as Christ’s return draws near. The King is still speaking. His Church must hear His warning, receive His correction, and respond without delay. Scripture Focus: Revelation 2:18–29; Revelation 3:1–22 If today’s teaching stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don’t have to walk through it alone. Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld - The End of the Beginning: Understanding All the Prophets

Why couldn't two grieving disciples recognize Jesus walking right beside them on the road to Emmaus? Dr. John traces their conversation with the risen Christ, revealing how their crushed hopes stemmed from a selective reading of Scripture — clinging to the promises they wanted while skipping over the suffering their own prophets had foretold. The End of the Beginning: Everyone knows how this story ends — Jesus is crucified, buried, and rises again. But in this 15-part series through Luke 23-24, Dr. John Neufeld shows why these familiar chapters still reward careful study, tracing the trials before Pilate and Herod and the road to the cross. Along the way, he uncovers details unique to Luke's account that reveal what kind of King Jesus truly is.

The Crosswalk Devotional: A Daily Devotional Chris... - When Life Wears You Down

Even ordinary tasks can feel overwhelming. Stress, grief, mistakes, uncertainty, and ongoing trials can leave you emotionally and spiritually exhausted, wondering how you’ll find the strength to keep going. Psalm 121 reminds us where our help comes from: the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. God does not expect us to pretend we’re okay or power through every difficult season on our own. When you’re too tired to pray, too overwhelmed to see clearly, or simply unsure how to take the next step, you can bring that weakness to Him. Jesus offers rest to those who are weary, and the Holy Spirit intercedes when we don’t have the words. Even in the darkest seasons, God remains near, providing the strength, peace, and help we need for whatever comes next. Highlights: What to do when you feel emotionally, physically, or spiritually worn down How Psalm 121 reminds us to look to God for help when life feels overwhelming Why God does not expect us to pretend we are okay or handle everything alone Finding rest in Jesus during seasons of exhaustion, stress, and hardship How the Holy Spirit helps us when we are too weak or tired to pray Why God’s presence remains with us even when we cannot feel or see Him Encouragement to trust God for the strength needed to take the next step Want more encouragement throughout your week? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” - Psalm 121:1-2 NIV There’s a song by Tenth Avenue North that inspired this devotional. A melancholy melody starts, then the opening lyrics say how tired and worn they feel. They have a heavy heart from all the hard work it takes just to continue breathing. The mistakes they’ve made are creating a dark cloud over their heads, and the weight of the world is crushing their soul. But they know that God can give them rest, so with all they have left, they muster up a cry to Him. The singer says he knows he needs to lift his eyes up to God and remember Him, trusting God to see him through these tough times, but he feels too weak to look up because the trials and storms of life won’t cease. But he knows God can give him what he needs, renew his mind, and restore the brokenness of his soul. So, though they don’t have the will or energy to fight, they have hope because they know God will fight for them. This reminds me of the Bible verse above (Psalm 121). It also reminds me of words by Ellie Mont that she posted to her Instagram page a while ago. Mont

Leading The Way Radio Podcast - Seven Letters from the King – Part 1

Jesus Christ is the divine Head of the Church, and His words to the first three churches in Revelation still speak with urgency today. In this message, Dr. Michael Youssef shows how Christ commends doctrinal faithfulness in Ephesus while warning against losing first love. He encourages suffering believers in Smyrna to remain fearless and faithful, and He confronts Pergamum for allowing compromise and false teaching to gain ground. Sound doctrine matters—but doctrine without love for Christ is spiritually dangerous. Suffering can be endured without fear through His grace, and compromise must never be tolerated where Christ commands repentance. This episode calls believers to: Return to their first love for Christ, Stand firm under persecution and pressure, Reject false teaching and worldly compromise, Repent of hidden sin, Guard Biblical Truth, Intercede faithfully for the Church. The King still speaks to His Church. The question is whether we will hear, repent, and obey. Scripture Focus: Revelation 2:1–17 If today’s teaching stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don’t have to walk through it alone.
