Abiding in Christ means staying connected to Jesus, trusting His guidance, and relying on His strength instead of trying to manage every uncertainty on your own. Sometimes the choices that lead us away from God don’t seem harmful at first. Ignoring spiritual conviction, reacting out of anger, compromising our values, or relying on our own understanding can gradually create patterns we later regret. Judges 3:6-7 reveals how the Israelites drifted from God through a series of compromises until they forgot the Lord and turned to other gods. Their story offers a powerful warning about the consequences of ignoring God’s guidance and underestimating the influence of our everyday decisions.
