They discuss differences between Rwanda/DRC and Uganda gorilla habitats and permit prices, why two treks help guests settle into photographing gorillas, and practical guidance on settings and lens choices. Nelis also presents images from a Mara wildebeest river crossing, an elephant bull among winter thorn trees in Lower Zambezi, and a young chimpanzee in Kibale, with tips for forest light challenges and chimp habituation treks.
