Chattanooga Film Festival 2018 coverage - Films Just Wanna Have Fun (just wanna...they just wanna-a-aa)
Welcome to another episode of The Gargyle Podcast! Continuing our coverage of the Chattanooga Film Festival, tonight Daniel, Tim, and I discuss some of the most "fun" movies of the weekend. All of the movies discussed in tonight's episode were either horror or violent in nature, some of which were very, very bloody...hence the "fun" being in quotes. They were violent and bloody, but they also look like they were a lot of fun to make and they are definitely fun to watch (if you enjoy horror)! Even though these were some of the most fun movies of the weekend (and personally some of my favorites of the weekend!)...just talking about them is nowhere near as much fun in comparison as watching them. Chattanooga Film Festival 2018 Coverage - Not Coming to a Theater Near You
Once again, I was able to return to the Chattanooga Film Festival! I love cinema in all of its forms, so the Chattanooga Film Festival is (without a doubt) one of my favorite times of year because I am able to spend four days being surrounded by movies and fellow film lovers...and Chattanooga Film Festival 2018 was no exception!! If you've been following me for the past couple months, you know that I've been watching nightly horror movies since the start of September (well, mostly nightly movies...on the nights that I didn't have time for a movie, I at least watched an episode or two of shows such as Goosebumps and Tales from the Crypt) with themed weeks all leading up to Halloween. If you’ve listened to just about any of my podcasts, you know that one of the things that I love most about movies is analyzing them, especially when it comes to horror movies. Horror movies reveal so much about humanity that just isn’t found in most other movies. What terrifies us? How do we overcome diversity? Who are we when things are at their worst? To us here at The Monster Pod, Evil Dead is hands down one of our all time favorite horror movies!
