Touch Not My Anointed: That Verse Doesn't Mean What You Think!

What does “Touch not my anointed” actually mean? And does this verse really mean pastors and church leaders are above questioning, correction, or accountability? Spoiler alert: being anointed does not mean being untouchable. Join us tonight, August 31 at 8 PM, on YouTube at @victoryupodcast or Facebook at @dr.davideadie for a powerful episode of The Victory U Podcast: Biblical Misconceptions. We’re going straight to the text and unpacking: • Psalm 105:15 • 1 Chronicles 16:22 • David and Saul • Paul confronting Peter • The Bereans testing teaching against Scripture • The Bible’s standards for pastors and spiritual leaders We’ll separate honoring spiritual authority from idolizing leaders, rejecting gossip from pursuing truth, and respecting pastors from giving them a free pass. Because the Bible does not teach that church leaders are untouchable. Spiritual authority must remain submitted to God’s Word, open to correction, and accountable to biblical standards. Anointed ≠ unaccountable. So bring your Bible, bring your questions, and bring your discernment. Watch, listen, share, and join the conversation. #TheVictoryUPodcast #BiblicalMisconceptions #TouchNotMyAnointed #ChurchAccountability #BiblicalLeadership #ChristianPodcast #BibleStudy #SpiritualAbuse #Discernment #FaithReasonCulture If you are enjoying the content on The Point with David Eadie and would like to provide feedback, share your thoughts, or ask any questions, please don't hesitate to send us a message! Stop Speaking It Into Existence: Does Proverbs 18:21 Really Teach That?

Biblical Misconceptions — Episode 1: Stop “Speaking It Into Existence” | Does Proverbs 18:21 Really Teach That? “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” It’s one of the most quoted verses in the Bible, but is Proverbs 18:21 actually teaching that our words have the power to create reality? In the premiere episode of Biblical Misconceptions, Dr. David Eadie takes Proverbs 18:21 out of the world of slogans and puts it back into its biblical context. We’ll examine the difference between our words having real consequences and possessing divine creative power, unpack the often-misused Romans 4:17, and explore how ideas like positive confession and “speaking things into existence” can begin to sound more like modern manifestation culture than biblical Christianity. The Bible absolutely teaches that your words matter. They can encourage or destroy, heal or wound, communicate wisdom or spread foolishness. But there’s a major difference between saying our words affect reality and claiming our words create reality. Your words are consequential, but they are not sovereign. We don’t put our faith in the power of our confession. We put our faith in the God who has spoken. 🎙️ The Victory U Podcast presents: Biblical Misconceptions 📅 Premieres Monday, August 17 at 8 PM ET Watch on Facebook @dr.davideadie and YouTube @victoryupodcast. Bishop vs Pastor: What Does the Bible Actually Teach

🔥 PASTOR vs. BISHOP… LET’S TALK BIBLE. 📖👀 Is a bishop a promotion from pastor… or have we turned biblical leadership into a ladder Scripture never created? Minister ➡️ Elder ➡️ Pastor ➡️ Bishop ➡️ Apostle? Not so fast. 👀 When we examine the New Testament, elder, overseer/bishop, and pastor/shepherd often overlap in describing the work of spiritual leadership. 🔥 You don’t get a bigger title. You get a heavier towel. Kingdom leadership isn’t about climbing ranks. It’s about serving people, stewarding responsibility, and faithfully shepherding God’s flock. 🎙️ NEW EPISODE: Pastor vs. Bishop — What Does the Bible Actually Teach? 📺 WATCH NOW Facebook ➡️ @dr.davideadie YouTube ➡️ @victoryupodcast #PastorVsBishop #BiblicalLeadership #ChurchLeadership #BibleTeaching #Theology #ChristianPodcast #PastoralMinistry #VictoryUPodcast If you are enjoying the content on The Point with David Eadie and would like to provide feedback, share your thoughts, or ask any questions, please don't hesitate to send us a message! Show Me Your Work

In this powerful episode, Dr. David Eadie Sr. takes a simple childhood memory—those dreaded words, “Show me your work”—and exposes how it reveals one of the most urgent issues facing today’s believers. Too many Christians can confidently tell you what they believe… but fall silent when asked why they believe it. Through a mix of humor, honesty, theological depth, and a touch of pastoral savagery, Dr. Eadie challenges the Church to grow beyond borrowed answers and into biblical understanding. God is not raising up parrots who can repeat truth; He is raising up disciples who can explain it, defend it, and live it out. This episode dives deep into: Why biblical literacy is essential for spiritual confidence How surface-level answers collapse under real pressure The difference between inspirational faith and formed faith The process every Christian must walk: Head → Heart → Habit How to trace your beliefs back to Scripture and articulate them with clarity Why understanding the process behind your faith strengthens your witness, your worldview, and your walk with God Whether you’re a new believer hungry to grow, a seasoned Christian seeking depth, or a leader passionate about discipleship, this episode will equip you to think critically, live faithfully, and build a faith that actually lasts. If you’re ready to move from reciting conclusions to understanding convictions… this episode is your moment. It’s not enough to have the answer. It’s time to show your work. #VictoryUPodcast #DrDaveSpeaks #ShowYourWork #SpiritualFormation #BiblicalLiteracy #DiscipleshipJourney #ThinkCriticallyLiveFaithfullyImpactCulture #CulturalApologetics #FaithThatLasts #ChristianPodcast #VictoryPointMA #TheWordLab #WhyIBelieve #DeepFaith #KingdomTeaching #PodcastDescription If you are enjoying the content on The Point with David Eadie and would like to provide feedback, share your thoughts, or ask any questions, please don't hesitate to send us a message! Egaging With Entitled Culture

Entitlement is everywhere — and trust me, this one is necessary. From relationships where people expect loyalty they don’t offer… To workplaces where folks want promotion without preparation… To families where some keep taking but never pour back… And yes, even in the church, where access is demanded without accountability. Planted to Produce

🎙️ Episode Title: Planted to Produce 📖 Scripture Reference: Luke 13:6–9 In this thought-provoking episode of The Victory U Podcast, Dr. David Eadie dives deep into the parable of the barren fig tree to reveal a powerful truth: sometimes, what looks like unfruitfulness in our lives isn’t a problem with the tree—it’s a problem with the soil. 🌿 Drawing from Luke 13:6–9, Dr. Eadie explains how Jesus used this parable to challenge us to look beyond surface-level results and examine the environment we’re rooted in. Just as a tree can’t thrive in depleted soil, people can’t grow spiritually, emotionally, or purposefully when planted in unhealthy surroundings. Whether it’s toxic relationships, lack of spiritual nourishment, or misplaced priorities, the wrong soil can stunt even the strongest roots. Through practical wisdom and biblical insight, this episode explores how God—like the patient gardener—doesn’t give up on us when we’re not producing fruit. Instead, He digs around us, fertilizes us, and gives us another chance to grow. It’s a reminder that divine cultivation takes time, and transformation often begins beneath the surface. If you’ve ever felt stuck, stagnant, or overlooked, this conversation will help you see that you’re not finished—you’re being refined. 🌱 🎧 Tune in and discover how to let God prepare your soil for the fruit He’s called you to produce. #VictoryUPodcast #PlantedToProduce #Luke139 #FaithThatGrows #PurposeDriven #SpiritualGrowth #RootedInChrist #GodsTiming #Transformation #FruitfulLiving If you are enjoying the content on The Point with David Eadie and would like to provide feedback, share your thoughts, or ask any questions, please don't hesitate to send us a message!
