The Story Behind The Players' Plate | A Thoughtful & Impactful Discussion With Author Emily Cole

-THE PLAYERS' PLATE: https://www.amazon.com/Players-Plate-Unorthodox-Sports-Nutrition-ebook/dp/B0BGJNGKTW Back for her second appearance on the podcast, is the one and only Emily Cole. Emily recently published her first book, The Players' Plate! She has worked endlessly over the past few years to make this dream come true. Today's conversation on the podcast is a celebration of Emily's hard work, dedication, resilience, and heart. Emily challenged the status quo when she set out to make this book a reality as she has with everything else in her life. Emily is constantly defying the odds, and she did so with this book. Only 3% of people who start writing a book finish it. Only 1-2% of manuscripts end up being published. The average non-fiction book sells about 250 copies in the first year; Emily sold over 1,000 just in the first few weeks. The average age of a first-time author is 36, and Emily is 21. In this conversation, I ask Emily questions surrounding the book, its process, the lessons she's learned from it, who made it possible, and so much more! I hope you all take time to listen to our conversation, and consider buying a copy of The Players' Plate if you haven't already. This could be a life-changing piece book that impacts their lives significantly. This book can change someone's destructive beliefs surrounding nutrition and turn them into solid scientific evidence about what nutrition should look like. The Story Of Tori Gerlach: The First Woman On Tinman Elite

Today's podcast is a very fun one! I have the privilege of having a conversation with the one and only Tori Gerlach. Tori is the first-ever woman member of Tinman Elite. Before this, Tori had an extremely successful career at Penn State and in the state of Pennysalvia in high school! In this episode, Tori takes us through her story and so much more. We discuss many meaningful subjects that help you the listener get to know Tori better and walk away inspired to tackle your goals. Tori and I also talk about some fun subjects like the best Halloween candy, 10k Steeple vs Marathon, and cooking for Gordan Ramsay.
