Encounter the Truth - The Son of Heavenly Glory (Part 1 of 2)

It’s always exciting to take a backstage tour in a grand venue—to see where the stars prepare—perhaps to see them behind the scenes and to know them as they really are. On the Mount of Transfiguration, we are given a backstage pass to see a glimpse of Jesus in his heavenly splendour and to hear the voice of the Father above. Seeing Jesus in this light, we learn to listen all the more closely to his word, and to trust him entirely as the glorious Son of heaven.

Conner Bible Reading: “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.” - Rom. 8:28-30 (NLT) Have you ever wondered if God has a plan and a purpose for you? Or does it seem like your life has aimlessly evolved over time? Do you believe the circumstances you are in now are the result of fate or predestination? Or do you think your journey on this earth has simply been happenstance, a completely random assortment of events with no rhyme or reason behind each occurrence? These are tough questions that many of us tend to wrestle with internally. Whether we shar

Leading The Way Radio Podcast - The Walk of Faith

Enoch did more than believe in God—he walked with God. In this uncompromising message, Dr. Michael Youssef explains that Biblical faith is not a momentary profession but a daily life of obedience and fellowship with the Living God. That kind of walk begins with repentance and new birth through Jesus Christ alone. It is not forced surrender, but joyful submission to God’s authority, His Word, and His will. In a corrupt and fearful world, Enoch’s example calls believers to live differently: as citizens of Heaven whose lives reflect the character of Christ. This episode calls believers to: Repent and walk closely with God, Submit joyfully to the authority of Scripture, Depend on Christ alone for new life, Live as citizens of Heaven, Intercede through faithful obedience, Bear a testimony that glorifies Christ. Enoch’s life still speaks: walking with God is the evidence of true faith—and the hope of eternal life belongs to those who are His. Scripture Focus: Hebrews 11:5–6 If today’s teaching stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don’t have to walk through it alone. Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld - Amazing Promises to Dysfunctional People: Why We Fear God

Rachel steals her father's household idols, Laban chases Jacob down with murder on his mind, and God shows up to terrify him into silence. Dr. John Neufeld unpacks this dramatic showdown to ask a question many Christians avoid: what does it actually mean to fear God, and why does Scripture call it the beginning of wisdom? Along the way, he takes a hard look at the idols we still cling to today. Amazing Promises to Dysfunctional People: In this 20-message series, Dr. John Neufeld walks through the dysfunctional family of Abraham found in Genesis 25-36, uncovering the relational brokenness at its core. Sin leaves human relationships fractured—we long for connection, yet find ourselves divided in so many ways. Listen in, and be challenged to live with integrity even when the world around you feels like it's falling apart.

Encounter the Truth - The Christ of the Cross (Part 2 of 2)

We are so naturally worldly in our thinking, both about Jesus and his mission, and about ourselves and our discipleship. While we would like to imagine that being a Christian will lead to worldly glory and comfort, Jesus calls us to see the centrality of the cross to his mission – and to understand the call of discipleship, to deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow him.

The Crosswalk Devotional: A Daily Devotional Chris... - The Promise That Teaches Us to Forgive

When someone breaks a promise or betrays your trust, forgiveness can feel far more difficult than simply saying, “I forgive you.” Laura Bailey shares how a broken confidence left her wrestling with hurt and resentment—and how a rainbow after a summer storm reminded her of God’s faithfulness, forgiveness, and promises. God remained faithful even when His people were not. Through the rainbow given to Noah and the ultimate promise fulfilled through Jesus Christ, Scripture reminds us that God is faithful to forgive and restore. Remembering how much God has forgiven us can change the way we respond when others hurt or disappoint us, helping us release resentment and pursue peace while still recognizing that forgiveness does not always require reconciliation. Highlights Why broken promises and betrayed trust can make forgiveness difficult How a rainbow became a reminder of God's faithfulness What Noah's covenant teaches us about God's promises How remembering God's forgiveness can help us forgive others Why forgiveness doesn't always mean reconciliation How healthy boundaries can coexist with forgiveness What Romans 12:18 teaches us about pursuing peace with others Want more encouragement throughout your week? Full Transcript Below: The Promise That Teaches Us to Forgive By: Laura Bailey Bible Reading: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. - Genesis 9:13 ( NIV) I’ll never forget one of the first times I experienced the heartache of someone breaking their promise. As I think back to the day my friend gave away the seat at the lunch table that had been promised to me, it seems so trivial. While I’ve moved on from past adolescent hurt, the reality is that the painful feelings of broken promises and unmet expectations are present in adulthood. Unfortunately, the stakes are much higher than eating lunch alone. A breach of confidence can lead to family tensions, severed relationships, and future mistrust of people. As an adult, I long for the simplicity of recess drama, where misplaced trust held little consequence. Recently, a close friend I confided in let slip some details of our conversation to a group of ladies. I’
