Every time I read behavior passages in the New Testament, I start to feel guilty for everything I've done. What can I do? My mom and I debate the role of women in the New Testament church. What are they allowed to do?

Leading The Way Radio Podcast - The Warring Faith

Courageous faith does not avoid hardship—it stands firm in the middle of it. In this urgent message, Dr. Michael Youssef points to the men and women of Hebrews 11 who faced enemies, persecution, impossible circumstances, and suffering without abandoning their trust in God. Their confidence was not in themselves, but in the Living God who keeps His promises. Whether walls were falling, enemies were advancing, or persecution was intensifying, faith moved God’s people to obey, endure, and act with courage. This episode calls believers to: Repent of fear and spiritual passivity, Stand boldly for Jesus Christ, Trust God in the middle of opposition, Rely on His Word instead of circumstances, Intercede for a lost world, Answer God’s call with willing obedience. God still uses surrendered people who trust Him fully and say, “Here I am, Lord—send me.” Scripture Focus: Hebrews 11:30–40 If today’s teaching stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don’t have to walk through it alone. The Crosswalk Devotional: A Daily Devotional Chris... - When God, the Author, Rewrites Your Plans

When a dream falls apart or a door you prayed would open suddenly closes, it can leave you wondering what God is doing. Maybe you've worked toward a particular career, relationship, opportunity, or ministry, only to hear “no,” “wait,” or nothing at all. Closed doors can feel like rejection, but what if God is using them as redirection? Proverbs 16:9 reminds us that while we make plans, the Lord ultimately establishes our steps. Surrendering our plans to God isn't always easy, especially when we genuinely believe we've found the path we were meant to take. But God's “no” doesn't mean He has abandoned us. Sometimes He is protecting us, sometimes He is preparing us for something different, and sometimes we may never know why a particular door closed. The invitation is to trust the Author of our story, release our grip on the outcome, and pray, “Your will be done.” Highlights Why God's closed doors don't necessarily mean rejection Learning to trust God when your plans don't unfold as expected How a “no” from God can become a redirection or protection The challenge of wanting God's will more than our own plans Finding peace when you're facing a “not yet” or a season of waiting How to surrender specific outcomes and remain open to God's leading Three questions to help you discern where God may be leading next Want more encouragement throughout your week? Full Transcript Below: When God, the Author, Rewrites Your Plans By Hannah Benson Bible Reading: “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps” (Proverbs 16:9 ESV). I just returned from living in the beautiful state of Tennessee for over 4 weeks, working on a feature film project. As I’ve been processing all the Lord has done, I’ve reflected on this verse in Proverbs in particular. When I was a little girl, it was my dream to serve the Lord through media missions. As a young woman, how is that dream now a reality? Only God. The truth is, we all have dreams, hopes, and plans. There is nothing wrong with making plans and hoping for some

Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld - Amazing Promises to Dysfunctional People: The Broad Mercy of God

A chapter full of forgotten names and Edomite genealogies doesn't sound like it has much to offer — until Dr. John Neufeld shows what it reveals about the cost of walking away from God's covenant, and the far greater hope hidden within it. Tracing Esau's descendants all the way to the book of Acts, he uncovers a stunning wordplay that turns a prophecy about Edom into a promise for all of humanity. Amazing Promises to Dysfunctional People: In this 20-message series, Dr. John Neufeld walks through the dysfunctional family of Abraham found in Genesis 25-36, uncovering the relational brokenness at its core. Sin leaves human relationships fractured—we long for connection, yet find ourselves divided in so many ways. Listen in, and be challenged to live with integrity even when the world around you feels like it's falling apart.

Encounter the Truth - The Kingdom of Reconciliation and Forgiveness (Part 1 of 2)

It would be nice to imagine that being a Christian would mean we never encountered conflict any more—conflict with one another, conflict within the church. But sadly, the sinful nature within each one of us is such that we fail relationally and need to deal with the fallout. What do we do when others sin against us? Jesus says to pursue reconciliation and extend forgiveness. These are vital lessons for each of us to learn.
