    Bday Trip and Substances

Recapping Bre's Bday trip this past weekend to Mammoth Lakes, traveling with a toddler, back on our travel buddy scoring system, and Bre's got some beef with her travel companions apparently... Kylee's new relationship with a certain substance gets us curious about the harsh jolt to our bodies from common things like caffeine and smoking. What beauty could come from honing our bodies ability to sense subtle shifts instead- through herbs and even what we eat? And happy birthday to Autuuuumn another Leo gem of our lives <3

What do we do with the latent frustration & anxiety?

This conversation is sparked by the uncomfortable yet common reality of many in the modern world, that all these comforts are silently crushing, and in a time of such freedom we still feel powerless in many ways. So what do you do? Not feeding the things you resent is a good place to start. Clarity, intention and action must follow if you're to design your life, not just with the options presented, but from your own blank canvas.

    Money Talk with Jay

We are elated to have Jay joining us for a conversation today! Come along as we get into how our beliefs around money shape our lives, finding our priorities and competing commitments, the nitty gritty on budgeting, and sharing stories about our own financial paths. We are all responsible for our own success, and defining what that even means to us is the first step. Our own wisdom and insight is earned through accountability.

Situationships, Lies & Trusting Your Gut

In light of some recent life events, we're wondering- how big of a lie is okay (if at all), when do you let yourself truly trust your gut instinct, and what are these 'situationships' here to teach us? Remind yourself that people choose their own place in your life by their behaviour and actions. You have standards and boundaries guiding you towards whats right for you. And as always, reflecting on our capacity to be honest ourselves, and vulnerable in relationship even when we want to point the blame at others. Its All Love, Baby.

    Truths, Judements & Existential Angst

We're a bit all over today, in our usual style, dancing between casual chit chat and the plight of our human condition. Top tier luteal phase content in a nutshell! Catch up with us before we get into the concept from our previous episode with Amber Carsten- keeping your Truths on a leash! Attempting to tame the judgement within us, the mystery of (some) mens' egos, being your own parent... like I said, a bit all over but it makes sense (mostly) I swear LOL.

    Trad Wife Life

Lets talk Trad Wives! Trendy term these days, but what even is a Trad Wife? Interesting that its trending nowadays, so many people leaning into these old lifestyles, and so much debate on 'whats right'. But at this point, we should all know there is no such thing as right LOL.

The 48 Laws of Power- Intention & Influence + A Deep Dive into Law #3 (Conceal Your Intentions)

Today is a bit of a book club moment, we're talking about the book The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene. The concepts of power he outlines in this book can be a bit unsettling at first- imagining that it is innate in human nature to vie for power (sometimes quite manipulatively or aggressively), is not completely unreasonable, but hard to wrap your head around how this can serve for the good of all. A lot of us seem to think of power and something inherantley 'bad' or wrong to seek out (same with money), but how might this be an illusion we cast over others (and ourselves) as a method we're using inside the game of power? Why does it matter to try and understand the game of power? Is it moral to seek it out? Lets get into it ;) Favorite quote so far- "What cannot be seized and consumed creates power."

Therapy: Why We Need It & Discovering the Different Modalities

Starting today off with some new notes on cycle tracking (that follicular phase goes crazyyyy LOL). But our main topic today is therapy! Thinking about getting into it, maybe you already are... so let's learn about some different styles of therapy together. And watch out for those red flags you might see in a therapist.. indeed, not even the trained humans are perfect 0_0 Seems like a good idea to have an understanding of the many different modalities and perspectives that therapists support from, to help you find the right person or just know what they're guiding you through!
