Come and See | John 1:29–42
“Taste and see that the Lord is good.” — Psalm 34:8 What if the best way to introduce someone to Jesus isn’t simply to tell them about Him, but to invite them to experience His goodness for themselves? In John 1, Jesus gives a simple invitation: “Come and see.” Andrew accepts that invitation, spends time with Jesus, and walks away so changed that he immediately goes looking for his brother Peter. Then, when Jesus meets Peter, He doesn’t just see who Peter is in that moment—He sees who Peter is becoming. In this message, Pastor Mike explores what happens when we truly encounter Jesus: we discover His goodness, discover our identity in Him, and begin becoming more like our Heavenly Father. And as His sons and daughters, our lives become a “sample” of His goodness to the people around us. Taste and see. Come and see. Then go and invite somebody else. 📖 John 1:29–42 | Psalm 34:8 ⛪ Solid Rock Worship Center — A Church That Walks in Love
