Love One Another | One Another — Part 1

Jesus didn’t die simply to create a weekly gathering. He created a people. He brought us into a family. And He said that family would be recognized by one defining characteristic: the way we love one another. In Part 1 of our four-part One Another series, Pastor Mike walks through Jesus’ words in John 13:34–35: “As I have loved you, that you also love one another.” Jesus doesn’t leave us to decide what love looks like—He gives us Himself as the example. He picks up the towel and washes His disciples’ feet, including the feet of those who would deny, abandon, and betray Him. Then, only hours later, He lays down His life on the cross. That same love is meant to become visible through His church. Our love doesn’t save us, but it should reveal that we’ve been changed by the One who does. When we serve without recognition, forgive when we’ve been hurt, speak truth with grace, remain united through disagreements, and love people who aren’t always easy to love, we give the world a picture of Jesus. The world doesn’t need a perfect church. It needs a church where the transforming love of Christ can actually be seen. So the question is simple: Who is God calling you to love differently this week? Let’s be the kind of church where people don’t just hear about the love of Jesus—they see it. 📖 John 13:34–35 🎙️ One Another — Part 1 of 4 ⛪ Solid Rock Worship Center — A Church That Walks in Love

Jesus didn’t die simply to create a weekly gathering. He created a people. He brought us into a family. And He said that family would be recognized by one defining characteristic: the way we love one another.

In Part 1 of our four-part One Another series, Pastor Mike walks through Jesus’ words in John 13:34–35: “As I have loved you, that you also love one another.”

Jesus doesn’t leave us to decide what love looks like—He gives us Himself as the example.

So the question is simple:

Who is God calling you to love differently this week?

Let’s be the kind of church where people don’t just hear about the love of Jesus—they see it.
