Lyme Disease and Peptides. My Personal Story and What the Research Actually Says.

This is one of the most personal episodes I have done. I have Lyme disease. I was diagnosed in my late 40s completely by accident through a routine eye exam with a new doctor who noticed something previous exams had missed. Specialists. A CT scan. Comprehensive blood tests. And buried in those results was Lyme disease, something nobody had even been looking for. The eye and the Lyme turned out to be completely unrelated. My infectious disease doctor confirmed that. And I was told I had probably had Lyme since childhood, living with it dormant for decades. In this episode I share the whole story including the fact that I never saw a tick and never had a bullseye rash and the research on why that is more common than most people realize. I talk about how conventional medicine did not have much to offer and how finding an integrative provider changed things before peptides even entered the picture. And I share my personal experience using peptides under doctor supervision, GLP-1 including tirzepatide which I am still on today for inflammation, stubborn weight gain, and flare control including the published research on why GLP-1 helps with reward seeking behavior around food and alcohol. Thymosin Alpha-1 for immune regulation and my asthma that is now almost completely gone with measurable breathing test results. NAD plus for brain fog and mental clarity. I also acknowledge that Lyme affects people very differently and my experience has been more manageable than many. This is not a cure story. It is an honest conversation. If you have been sick and dismissed for years this episode is for you. Semax. Why This Brain Peptide Is Not an Injection.

In this episode I break down Semax, a peptide that has been used clinically in Russia for decades and is now being talked about seriously in the longevity and cognitive health space. And yes it is a nasal spray. I explain exactly why in plain language and the science behind it is genuinely fascinating. The nose to brain delivery pathway is real and it is the reason this specific compound works the way it does. I cover what the research actually shows for focus, memory, mental endurance, mood, motivation, and neuroprotection. I am also honest that most of the human clinical research comes from Russia with more limited Western replication because that is what you deserve to know. If you have been curious about Semax and wanted someone to explain it properly this episode is for you. PT-141. The Peptide That Works on Desire Itself. And Why the Research Behind It Is Serious.

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down PT-141 and why it is one of the most legitimately researched peptides I have ever covered on this podcast. It has full FDA approval under the brand name Vyleesi, the first non-hormonal treatment ever approved for female sexual desire disorder, backed by two Phase 3 clinical trials in over 1,200 women. I explain exactly how it works in plain language, why it is completely different from anything else in this space because it works on the brain’s desire pathway rather than physical response, what the research shows for both women and men, and what to know going in. If this is something you have been quietly curious about you are not alone and the research behind it is worth understanding. FDA Advisory Committee Just Voted on Peptides. What Happened Today and Why It Matters.

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. Today something happened that I have never seen before in this space. I watched live as a formal FDA advisory committee voted in favor of four of the most researched peptides in the wellness and longevity world for inclusion on the official list that creates a clear legal compounding pathway through licensed pharmacies and real doctor prescriptions. BPC-157. KPV. TB-500. And MOTS-c. These peptides are currently available through licensed telehealth providers with real doctor supervision. Today’s vote is about creating an even more formally recognized pathway going forward. Nothing changes for people currently on a protocol. Today is a validation of what has already been happening not a starting point. . I also share something that happened during today’s hearing that stopped me cold. A physician on the committee who voted in favor of these peptides shared a story about a patient whose research grade peptide was later tested and found to be laced with MDMA. That story alone is worth the listen. Want to learn how I personally access peptides through a licensed telehealth provider with real doctor supervision? What I Look For Before I Trust Anyone With My Health.

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. This podcast has always been about education. But the question I get asked more than almost anything else is where do I actually get my peptides and who do I trust. So today I am finally doing a full episode on it. I walk through what I looked for before I trusted anyone with my health, why the difference between research grade and pharmaceutical grade matters so much, what 503A certified compounding pharmacies actually means, why real doctor oversight is non negotiable, and what a real educational community in this space looks like. I also share what you get when you come through me. A real person who has been on these protocols, worked with hundreds of people, and is always happy to schedule a call and just talk. Methylene Blue. The 130 Year Old Compound Researchers Cannot Stop Talking About.

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down Methylene Blue, a pharmaceutical grade compound that has been used in medicine since the 1890s and is now one of the most interesting things being studied in the longevity and brain health space. Yes it was originally a textile dye. Yes it is now being studied in real published human trials for cognitive function, cellular energy, oxidative stress, and neuroprotection including Alzheimer’s research. I break down exactly what it does inside your cellular power plants in plain language, answer why it comes as a capsule instead of an injection, and tell you exactly where the research stands honestly. If you have been hearing about Methylene Blue and wanted someone to just explain, this episode is for you. Why Your Body Stops Responding After 40. And What Is Actually Going On.

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down something every single woman in midlife has experienced. Why your body just stops responding the way it used to. You are doing everything right and nothing is working the way it did in your thirties. Today I explain exactly why. I walk through what is actually happening inside your body after 40, the simultaneous decline of estrogen, progesterone, growth hormone, your cellular cleanup crew, and your cellular energy, and why all of it happening at once is what researchers are now calling inflammaging. No specific peptide today. Just the foundation that explains why everything I cover on this podcast exists. This is not a willpower problem. This is biology. And once you understand it everything starts to make a whole lot more sense. Want to stay in the loop on all things peptides? Microdosing GLP-1s. What It Is and Why Everyone Is Talking About It.

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I go deeper on GLP-1s, specifically the conversation everyone is having right now about microdosing tirzepatide and semaglutide. Not for dramatic weight loss. For metabolic health, inflammation, cardiovascular protection, and brain health. And yes, people do lose weight on it too, which makes it a real option for women who want to lose 15 or 20 pounds but do not qualify for a standard weight loss protocol. I share what the research actually says, why the longevity conversation around GLP-1s is getting serious, what the difference is between tirzepatide and semaglutide, and my personal experience having been on both a standard dose and a microdose protocol. I am also being upfront that the microdosing research is still early because that is what you deserve to know. If you have been hearing about microdosing and want someone to actually explain it honestly, this episode is for you. You will want to listen to my earlier GLP-1 episodes, if you have not already. Sermorelin. The Peptide That Tells Your Body to Do Its Own Job.

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down sermorelin, the peptide that does not do the job itself, it tells your body to do the job. Specifically it signals your pituitary gland to release its own growth hormone the natural way. Growth hormone declines roughly 14 percent every decade after your 30s and that decline is connected to so much of what midlife women feel, the sleep that is not restorative anymore, the stubborn belly fat, slower recovery, thinning skin, low energy, and brain fog. I break it all down like you are in 5th grade. If you have been wondering why you feel so different than you did ten years ago and want to understand what the research actually says, this episode is for you. KLOW. Four Peptides. The Science Behind the Blend.

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down KLOW, a four peptide blend combining BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and KPV into one single formula. If you have heard my episodes on GHK-Cu and BPC-157 plus TB-500 and wondered what it would look like to bring it all together, this episode is for you. I cover what each ingredient does in plain language, introduce KPV for the first time and what the published research says about it, and break down the science behind why these four peptides work better together than they do alone. Recovery, gut health, inflammation, and skin all in one blend. Explained like you are in 5th grade the way I always do it. Melanotan II: What It Actually Is and Why Researchers Got Surprised

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down Melanotan II, a man-made peptide designed to copy a signal your body already knows how to receive, that activates a whole network of switches throughout your body and your brain. I’m explaining it like you’re in 5th grade. What it actually is, where the real research lives, and why I’m being upfront that some of it is human data and some of it is still early stage. We cover the pigmentation science, the desire and arousal research (yes that’s documented and the story behind it is wild), appetite and energy, and inflammation. Plus what to watch for and why doctor supervision is non-negotiable. If you’ve been curious about this one and wanted someone to just explain it honestly, this episode is for you. This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down glutathione, the tiny peptide researchers call the “master antioxidant” that your body has been making on its own your entire life. Today I’m covering what it actually is, why levels drop as we get older, and what the research says, explained like you’re in 5th grade. We get into how glutathione works like a cleanup crew inside every single cell in your body, why modern midlife life is the exact recipe for lower levels, what the research shows about antioxidant support, liver detoxification, immune function, skin, and cellular energy, and why doctor supervision matters when you’re doing this. This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down DSIP, also known as Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide, the tiny peptide everyone is asking me about for sleep. Today I’m covering what it actually is, why people are so curious about it, and what the research says, explained like you’re in 5th grade. We get into how DSIP works as a natural “sleep signal” your body already makes, why it’s different than a sleep aid or sedative, what the research shows about deep sleep, stress, and recovery, and why doctor supervision matters when you’re doing this. NAD+ (And Why It’s Not Technically a Peptide)

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down NAD+, the tiny helper molecule inside every single one of your cells that makes energy possible, and the one your body loses nearly half of by the time you’re 50. Plot twist: NAD+ is not technically a peptide. I’m explaining what it actually is, why it gets grouped in with peptides anyway, why your cells literally can’t make energy without it, and why the injection is the form that actually changes the game (versus the pills you see all over Instagram and the IV drips popping up everywhere). All explained like you’re in 5th grade. If you’ve tried the pills and felt nothing, this episode is going to make you feel a lot less crazy. BPC-157 + TB-500: The Recovery Power Couple

This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down BPC-157 and TB-500. The two peptides that people talk about together so often they’ve earned the nickname “the recovery power couple.” Explained like you’re in 5th grade. We get into what each peptide actually does (one’s the construction crew, one’s the traffic director), why people stack them together, and what the research has looked at. From tendon and ligament healing to gut health, post-surgical recovery, chronic inflammation, and athletic performance. I also keep it honest about what’s well-studied, what’s still developing, and why doctor supervision matters more than ever with these two. If you’ve been curious about peptides for healing, recovery, or gut issues, this episode is for you. This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down GHK-Cu, the tiny three-amino-acid peptide everyone is talking about. Mine was just delivered, so today I’m covering what it actually is, why people are so obsessed, and what the research says, explained like you’re in 5th grade. We get into how GHK-Cu works as a “repair signal” your body naturally makes (and loses with age), why injection works differently than topical, what it does for skin, hair, healing, inflammation, and even gene expression, and why doctor supervision matters when you’re doing this. If you’ve heard the buzz and want to actually understand GHK-Cu before you try it, this episode is for you. This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. I am not a doctor. Always consult your physician before starting any new health regimen. In this episode I break down Thymosin Alpha-1, one of the most studied peptides in existence and the one I personally swear by. I share my own experience after almost four months on it, including a breathing test result that shocked my allergist of 25 years. I cover how it works as an immune modulator, why it is different from just an immune booster, what the research says about autoimmune conditions, fighting infections, healthy aging, and why I believe this one is a game changer. If you deal with allergies, asthma, autoimmune issues, or just feel like your immune system needs some real support, this episode is for you.
