Matthew Everhard is a pastor, writer, adjunct professor, and Jonathan Edwards scholar. He is the senior pastor of Gospel Fellowship PCA, a Reformed, Bible-Believing church just North of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also an adjunct professor at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA. His various articles can be read on Modern Reformation, Desiring God, Logos Academic, and more.

Why Hasn't the NKJV Been Updated? In this video we will discuss the origin of the NKJV Bible. This is one of the few evangelical, modern translations which has not had an update. Unlike the RSV, NIV, and ESV -- each of which made some mistakes when trying to roll out a new edition -- the NKJV has avoided some of the controversy when a new edition rolls out. Combined with its excellent reputation and avoidance of major gaffs, the primary audience for the NKJV has simply not demanded an revised edition. I hope it stays that way!
