شربات الفرح
تُعد التمثيلية الإذاعية الاجتماعية الكوميدية «شربات الفرح» (من تأليف وأشعار محمود إسماعيل جاد، وإخراج محمود يوسف) إحدى كلاسيكيات الإذاعة المصرية التي تسلط الضوء على العادات والتقاليد الاجتماعية المرتبطة بتكاليف الزواج والمواسم في الأحياء الشعبية. تدور الأحداث حول الشاب المكافح «محروس» (حسن فرحات) الذي عقد قرانه على «بطة» (عفاف شاكر) ابنة «المعلم زلط» (محمد رضا) وزوجته «فردوس» (ملك الجمل). وتتأزم الأمور بسبب تأخر محروس في إعداد المهر وتحديد موعد الزفاف لأكثر من تسعة أشهر، نتيجة ضغوط أم العروس «فردوس» التي تصر على إرسال الهدايا و«المواسم» الباهظة لتتباهى بها أمام بنات الحارة. ويتضح أن محروس يغرق في الديون ويعمل ورديات مضاعفة فقط ليفيء بتكاليف تلك المواسم والهدايا التي ترهق كاهله. وتصل الدراما إلى ذروتها حين يغضب المعلم زلط ويقرر فسخ الخطبة، لولا تدخل رجل الشارع الحكيم «الحاج متولي» (مرسي الحطاب) الذي يوضح الحقيقة للجميع، وينصح محروس بالتوقف عن شراء المواسم والتركيز على جمع المهر خلال مهلة ثلاثة أشهر. وفي نهاية المهلة، يعود محروس حاملاً المهر كاملاً ليثبت جدعنته، وتُختتم التمثيلية بزغاريد الدار وتقديم «شربات الفرح».
