True Crime Reality

iHeartPodcasts

Truth is stranger than fiction...and reality tv stars know this better than anyone. They are personally intertwined with the world’s most extraordinary happenings, mysterious people and bizarre crimes than anyone else.

The truth is, while being a reality star and putting their lives out there does have its perks, it also makes them an easy target and more susceptible to criminal behavior.

That’s why so many reality stars have a story…it happened to them, their friend, their family…a house break-in, a hostage situation, adultery, kidnapping, armed robbery, financial scams, paternity fraud, identity theft and even murder.

Each week on the ‘True Crime - Reality’ Caelynn Miller-Keyes (Bachelor) will be joined by a reality star as they dive deep into the details of a crime they have a direct connection to. The who, the what, the why and the what ‘were they thinking?!’

True Crime and all it’s darkest secrets, are about to get a taste of reality.

NEW: Meghan Markle “Deeply Distressed”; Issues Statement Over Allegations Her Father Possessed Boxes Of Child Sexual Abuse Images

The Duchess of Sussex wasted no time releasing a statement following news that her estranged father, 82-year-old Thomas Markle, Sr. was in possession of hundreds, if not thousands, of photos and videos of young girls being sexually abused. In her statement, Meghan Markle says she was informed by police of “disturbing allegations” against him in 2018 and that explains why she kept her distance from her father as well as her choice to not allow him to have contact with her children. Markle claims she was given assurances that authorities were investigating the allegations. It was Meghan’s half brother, Thomas Markle Jr. who alerted authorities, after he says he found the images while looking for innocent family mementos. Three Men Claim Late Republican Senator Lindsay Graham Paid Them For Sex In Newly Released Video

With less than two weeks before the midterm elections, a left wing online group has released a 30 minute video that features three men who claim the late Senator Lindsay Graham paid them for sex; one of them says he was just 17 at the time. Graham suddenly passed away over the summer and his sister, Darline, is in a very tight race to retain her brother’s senate seat. Some conservatives have dismissed the video as an “open secret” and an attempt to distract South Carolina voters. One former lawmaker says it highlights something more serious, saying the secrets our leaders keep “comprise them in the most dangerous ways for the security, safety, and prosperity of our nation.” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Veteran NFL Player Kicked Off Team For Bringing Gun To Practice

This is a bizarre story that needs more context to fully understand. 7 year pro and defensive lineman Jordan Elliot is off the Tennessee Titans after the team says he went to his car in the player parking lot to retrieve a gun after an altercation with a teammate. Those who know Elliot say this is completely out of character for the husband and father of four, and “was a call for help more than a criminal act." However, the NFL has a strict firearm policy; personnel are not allowed to bring guns anywhere at league facilities. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Prosecutors Seek Death Penalty Against Idaho Mom Accused Of Murdering Twin Toddlers

An Idaho prosecutor is seeking the death penalty against a 23-year-old woman charged with murdering her twin toddlers in 2025. Andrea Shaw has pleaded not guilty, claiming her 18-month-old twins got sick and died after receiving flu shots and their scheduled vaccinations. Prosecutors maintain that an autopsy revealed symptoms consistent with smothering and said suffocation "is the only conceivable explanation" for their deaths. UPDATE: Surprise Ruling Leads To Major Setback For Lindsay Clancy

The judge in the Lindsay Clancy case issued a surprise ruling Wednesday, dismissing an attempt by Clancy’s attorney to investigate the lone holdout juror in her murder trial. Kevin Reddington had filed a motion requesting access to the juror’s initial questionnaire, an examination of his cellphone and for him to be questioned in court, but the judge refused to move forward with any investigation into Michael Desronvil. Clancy’s team still has a motion to dismiss murder charges against Clancy in play, citing double jeopardy. That will be decided at the next hearing in early November, where both sides are expected to agree on a potential new trial date. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Travel Blogger Posts Woman Crying For 3 Hours After She Wouldn’t Switch To Middle Seat

Would you give up your aisle seat - for a middle seat - on a 10 hour international flight so a couple could sit together? Tomiko Harvey just posted round two on her social media after receiving racist backlash for refusing to do just that. While the vast majority of the tens of thousands of people who have weighed in support Harvey’s decision to stay put, several have pointed out that posting a video of her seat mate crying and the mention of “white tears” lacked empathy and kindness. Alabama Governor Spares Death Row Inmate’s Life; Now A Growing Push For His Freedom

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey made the rare decision to commute the death sentence of a 53-year-old man convicted in the 1995 killing of a sheriff’s deputy. Ivey said there was “not enough direct evidence to carry out the most serious punishment.” The current district attorney has taken it a step further, publicly voicing concerns about prosecutorial misconduct, asking the courts to overturn Toforest Johnson’s conviction and grant him a new trial. Johnson has maintained his innocence from the beginning, with at least 10 witnesses who corroborate Johnson was nowhere near the scene of the murder and zero physical evidence tying him to the crime. Trump REALLY Wants You To Know That He Is A Frickin’ Genius.  Take His Cognitive Test With Us!

The President has been on another bizarre bragging tour over the results of three cognitive tests that are used for early detection of dementia. The point is, this is NOT a test that measures intelligence whatsoever. Instead, it measures for mild cognitive impairment, which only means he isn’t suffering from dementia. His perfect score may signal he has a great memory - there’s one tricky question that you’ll hear along with us for the first time - but it does not reveal his “extreme intelligence.” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Trump Insists New Mexico Should IMMEDIATELY Change Its Name to “New America”

Why is our president so obsessed with changing names? His latest target is the state of New Mexico: Trump writing on his social media that a name change would increase home values and incomes, but made sure to insult the state by saying it’s known for its “crooked elections.” Of note, Trump lost New Mexico in the 2016, 2020 and 2024 presidential elections. There has been strong reaction from New Mexico officials, but not a lot of fear about what may happen next. While the president can change bodies of water and other geographic features, he cannot technically rename a state. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

He will become Florida’s eighth prisoner over the age of 70 to be executed this year, but more than 100 military veterans sent a moving letter to Governor DeSantis on Monday, urging him to commute Reaves’ sentence to life given his PTSD from the battlefield. Meantime, Officer Raczkowski’s family and former coworkers say they’ve waited long enough for justice and plan to be at tonight’s execution. One deputy saying he wants the last thing Reaves to see is an Indian River County sheriff's uniform. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Mississippi Officer “Justified” In Shooting One Year Old Boy

After a four month investigation, Mississippi’s Attorney General announced that a white officer was justified when he shot at a moving vehicle, killing a 1-year-old black boy and critically injuring the driver. Little Kohen Wiley’s mom and her friend were accused of shoplifting a box of diapers from Walmart, when 5 officers surrounded their vehicle as they were leaving the parking lot. Both women deny stealing anything and have never been charged. The officer who fired the shots, 33-year-old Hunter Foster, has had two accusations of using racial expletives towards his black co-workers and the police chief who chose not to discipline him, was just fired last month for using racial expletives in texts with colleagues.
