Dr. Nigel Biggar is the Emeritus Regius Professor of Moral Theology at the University of Oxford and Distinguished Scholar in Residence at Pusey House, Oxford. He received his Ph.D in Christian Theology & Ethics from the University of Chicago and his baccalaureate degree in Modern History from Oxford University. Professor Biggar was also appointed a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for services to Higher Education, in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours list. He’s the author of more than 5 books and numerous articles which have appeared in publications such as The Financial Times, The Times of London, The Daily Telegraph, and The Spectator.
