House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 5 Spoiler Review | A Feast for Traitors

Episode 5, "Unbowed and Unbent," just turned House of the Dragon into a horror movie, and Justin and Greg are still processing the blood on that wall. This is the one where the Blacks' paranoia gets fully justified — and the body count says the worst is still ahead. 🐉 This Episode: "Unbowed and Unbent" (Season 3, Episode 5) Daemon defies Rhaenyra in front of the entire small council, choosing to hunt Gold Cloak killers over reining in Vhagar. Criston Cole marches his starving men into a trap of his own making, delivering a death-seeking speech before Gwayne deserts him. Aemond wakes at Harrenhal, fully alive and unraveling, as Alys Rivers tightens her grip on his fractured mind. Alicent tries to force an abortion potion on a defiant Helaena, who refuses to give up her child. Alicent and Helaena's escape attempt through a hidden passage dead-ends in total darkness. Aegon murders Janos in cold blood just as a presumed-dead Tyland Lannister reappears out of nowhere. And the episode ends with Daemon discovering Ser Luthor and the entire City Watch slaughtered and staged at a table, "A feast for traitors" written in blood on the wall — the clearest sign yet that Rhaenyra's enemies inside King's Landing are more organized than anyone realized. 🛑 Full spoilers for Episode 5, "Unbowed and Unbent."

House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 4 Spoiler Review | Ormund's Real Plan Is Terrifying

Ormund Hightower finally shows his hand, and it's worse than anyone at Dragonstone imagined. In this clip from our Episode 4 watchalong, Justin breaks down the quiet, unnerving hour that turns House of the Dragon's newest villain loose. 🐉 This Episode: "Tumbleton" (Season 3, Episode 4) Ormund Hightower reveals himself as a true zealot, occupying Tumbleton and grooming Daeron Targaryen to reject his own Targaryen blood. Daemon tracks down Sheepstealer's real rider in the Vale — and chooses to lie to Rhaenyra to protect his own family. Rhaena confesses Jace's death was her fault and resolves to live out her exile rather than return to court. Corlys storms off the council after Rhaenyra refuses to legitimize his sons, handing his seat to Alyn. Ormund forces a devastating loyalty test on Daeron, ending the episode with the boy carrying out an execution he'll never recover from. And at Harrenhal, Criston Cole and Gwayne Hightower find Alys Rivers alone — with Aemond nowhere in sight. 🛑 Full spoilers for Episode 4, "Tumbleton," Daeron Targaryen's forced execution, and exactly what Ormund Hightower is really building at Tumbleton.
