Yolanda is an ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and holds certifications in Christian Leadership and Christian Marriage and Family Counseling. The invisible Girl: Breaking the Silence of Trauma - Vivian Moyo
In this wonderfully, blessed episode, our beautiful young sister, Vivian Moyo shares her life's journey with us. Her story is truly amazing, and we believe the Lord will touch the hearts of many women through this episode! She addresses these questions: Do you have stored trauma in your body that is affecting your nervous system? Are there generational curses and addictions in your life that come as a result of unhealed trauma? Vivian Moyo was born and raised in Zimbabwe, Africa. She is the youngest child. She has five sisters and five brothers. Her mother passed away when Vivian was three years old. She never really knew her father. She was raised by her grandmother. Her grandmother was a Christian. She remembers singing hymns and praying with her grandmother. They attended a Methodist church. At the age of eleven, they moved to the United Kingdom. At the church in the United Kingdom, she served as an usher. Also, she sang in the choir and served in the media and children departments. After Vivian’s second miscarriage, she wanted to end her life. She was 25 years old. It was at that time she felt the presence and love of the Holy Spirit. The Lord assured her that it would get better. Vivian Moyo is a trauma-informed coach, speaker, author, and founder of Moyo Wellness Therapy. Moyo Wellness Therapy is a safe and compassionate space where women can begin their own recovery from childhood trauma. Through trauma-informed coaching, nervous system education, emotional healing, and identity rebuilding, Vivian supports women in moving beyond survival mode and building lives rooted in safety, confidence, hope, and purpose. Alongside her coaching, she is the author of The Invisible Girl: Breaking the Silence of Trauma, where she shares her personal story to help others feel seen, understood, and less alone. She is also the host of the Moyo Wellness Therapy Podcast, where she explores topics including childhood trauma, nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, healing, relationships, and personal growth. As someone with lived experience, she understands what it feels like to carry invisible wounds while trying to appear strong on the outside. Betrayal Trauma - Mr. Jay - Certified Betrayal Trauma Practitioner
In this truly touching and powerful episode, Mr. Jay shares his heart and years of professional training for anyone struggling with betrayal trauma. He answers the questions: Why is betrayal trauma so different from any other trauma? How do we deal with internal and external emotional triggers after betrayal? How do we deal with our demons and stop running from the pain? Mr. Jay was raised with a faith background; however, Mr. Jay’s childhood was not fun or easy. His environment was full of toxicity and abuse. Mr. Jay quit school in the sixth grade, and as a 12-year-old, he was hospitalized for acute stress. He moved out of his parents’ home at 14 years of age and started working two jobs as a grocery sacker. Mr. Jay loved his dad and was close to him. But when he died suddenly, he began to experience panic attacks. The panic attacks sent him on a mission. His healing process began after he attended a betrayal trauma group. As he sought help for himself, the director encouraged him to start helping others struggling with trauma from betrayal. After a decade of teaching, and another decade as a full-time stay-at-home dad, Mr. Jay was called into the mental health field. He now works as a Certified Betrayal Trauma Practitioner and Intrapersonal Relationship Coach. To serve his clients, Mr. Jay helps and supports each individual and/or couple move through the stages from betrayal to breakthrough. Mr. Jay helps his clients recognize that “with hard work, determination, and willingness, you can still have your happily EVEN after.” Mr. Jay is the author of a betrayal trauma healing journal, “From Tears to Transformation.” He is a proud veteran of the United States military and an even more proud adoptive parent. During his downtime, Mr. Jay enjoys roller skating, listening to music, officiating weddings, singing at local charities/events, public speaking, and watching an occasional guilty pleasure crime show. There Is Hope - Part 2

There is Hope - Part I

David Lashley was born Columbus, Ohio and raised in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He is the oldest of three children. He was not raised in a Christian home. However, when his brother was in middle school, he got into trouble. His parents would send his brother to church with the neighbors. David watched his brother. He saw the changes, and he noticed his brother was a little different. The neighbors that David’s brother went to church with were his wife’s family. He had known his wife all his life. They started dating when they were around 14 years old. He then started going to church with her. He got saved. They have been married for 35 years. David started working as a court bailiff early in the marriage. His faith has been strengthened after seeing so many felony and divorce cases. He decided he wanted his life to be an example for Christ in his profession. David is a judicial protection professional, martial arts instructor, and founder of Lashley Training Center. With more than two decades of experience operating in high-pressure courtroom environments, he has spent his career studying human behavior, conflict, and decision-making under stress. Today, David teaches leadership under pressure, situational awareness, and practical self-protection for everyday people. The Marriage Covenant - Minister Scheharyl Calyen

Pastor Tonyia's mission is to tell her story and minister to others about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At the age of 5, Pastor Tonyia was struck by a car, suffering head injuries, a broken right leg in three places, a ruptured spleen, and a ruptured left kidney. Despite the trauma and having only one kidney, she survived with a 50/50 chance. She gives thanks for her praying grandmother and God's divine intervention. Psalm 46:5: "God is within her; she will not be moved. God will help her when morning dawns." This verse beautifully encapsulates the strength and assurance that comes from faith. Renece Ann Weathersby was born in Kansas City, Kansas. Her parents relocated to Chicago, Illinois where she and her brother were raised on the westside of Chicago. Rev. Renece was eight years old when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was about sixteen years old when she really understood what salvation was all about. As a youth and teenager, Rev. Renece was actively involved in the choir, Sunday school, and missionary ministry. She always had a deep desire to seek the Lord and to know Jesus for herself. Rev. Renece got married in 1987 to Howard Eric Weathersby, Sr. They were married for 23 years before the Lord called him home. Before Howard’s passing, they both faithfully served in children’s church. She eventually became the church director and served in that capacity for many years. Rev. Renece was called to preach the gospel in 2002. She was licensed on December 25, 2003, and received her Certificate of Ordination on January 25, 2009, at the Christ Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church of Austin in Chicago, Illinois. Her scripture of blessed assurance to the call of ministry rests in II Timothy 1:9, "I am so glad that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit hath saved me and called me with a holy calling, not according to my work, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given in Christ Jesus before the world began.” Rev. Renece is a mother and grandmother. She has two sons, Howard Eric, II and Samuel Hayes Weathersby. She also has five beautiful heartbeats that call her Grandma; Drayden, Anaiya, Raylan, VanessaRose and Lucas. Reverend Renece moved to Houston, Texas July, 2022 and made her membership at The Church Without Walls public, January 8, 2023. She is one of the campus leads for Firm Foundation, member of Kerygma ministry and serves monthly at one of the assisted living homes. Rev. Renece earned an Associate degree from Malcolm X Junior College in pre-pharmacy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Elementary Education from Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois. To Know Christ

From the Streets to the Sanctuary: A Sequel to Pimp, Player, Preacher - Reverend Ralph Hawthorne
In this wonderful and exciting episode, Reverend Ralph Hawthorne candidly shares his powerful testimony with us. Rev. Ralph is a great man of God and a tremendous blessing to the body of Christ and humanity as a whole. What do you do when you believe the lies of the enemy, after receiving a psychiatric diagnosis of a chronic drug addict, an alcoholic, and having an anti-social disorder? Jesus, Jesus, Jesus , But God! Rev. Ralph Hawthorne was born in Louisville, Mississippi. He was raised in a single parent home in Rockford, Illinois. He was the middle child of eight siblings. As a child, he remembers his mother sending them all to an AME church. They went to Sunday school occasionally. Three of Rev. Ralph’s older brothers got involved in negative, risky, and illegal behavior. They eventually became gang members. Rev. Ralph’s family lived next door to a bootlegging house. At an early age, he saw alcoholics, pimps, and hustlers. He soon picked up on all these things in his environment. At the age of nine, he started participating in illegal activity. He became a product of his environment. He defined success as living off the fat of the land and getting your hustle on. His first arrest, at the age of nine, was for stealing a lady’s purse at the laundromat. He was sent to a juvenile detention center. After being released he started stealing cars and burglarizing people. He learned how to drive from stealing cars. He had several stays at the juvenile detention center from the ages of 9-15. During one of his stays, he was placed in solitary confinement. He smuggled matches and set his mattress on fire. He was charged with arson. He was marched from juvenile detention to the county jail. After being in a holding cell for a few months, his mother, with the help of an attorney, got him released. His next encounter with law enforcement was for violating his parole. He was sent to the Illinois Youth Commission (IYC). This facility was considered a prison for young people. However, he took driving courses and obtained a driver’s license. At this facility, he met some men from Chicago belonging to organized street gangs. He learned the rules and the literature of the gangs. He dropped out of school at the age of 16 and resorted to old hustling behavior. Several years later, Rev. Ralph had multiple burglary cases. Rev. Ralph finally gained employment at the City of Rockford. However, he met a group of Italians, got a pound of weed, and left his job. At this point, he has his own apartment and now is operating a gambling house. He eventually gets into a serious relationship with someone and shuts the gambling house down. He is now employed as a store manager at a men’s clothing store. He is introduced to the controlled substance, cocaine, and now is entrenched even deeper in the life of drugs, gangs, partying, and prostitution. Rev. There is Hope for the Marginalized - Rachel Gallien, LPN
In this beautiful, touching episode, our beautiful sister in Christ, Rachel shares her heart's desire to reach just one person living in the margins of life. She shares her experiences with HIV+ patients, IV drug users, sex workers, the hungry, and the homeless. Rachel spreads the word of awareness, hope, dignity, and grace. She answers these questions: What are some of the systemic barriers for women of color diagnosed with HIV+ and/or sexually transmitted infections (STIs)? What are the preventative measures for high-risk groups, sex workers, from getting HIV+? Do female condoms exist? Can gay women get infected with sexually transmitted diseases? What are fentanyl test strips? How are they used to test for the presence of fentanyl in recreational drugs like marijuana? Rachel Gallien was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, the second child of six children. She was the one to keep the family in order. Therefore, she considers herself to be the sheriff of the family. Her family is very close-knit. They hold family meetings, and everything they do is in line with each other. She remembers growing up as a Catholic. She completed her First Communion and Confirmation. At the age of 25, Rachel learned a different way of religion. She started attending a Baptist church. She was in search of finding herself. She did not know who she was or what direction she was going. She was hurt and lost. She was also in an unhealthy relationship. When Rachel approached her 30s, she felt the Lord pull on her heartstrings. While at home, she started praying to the Lord to have a relationship with Him and to hear His voice clearly. Rachel remembers driving to her parents’ home and witnessing a terrible accident. While she was driving, she put her head down to change a radio station. No sooner than she looked up, she witnessed a man being hit by a car right in front of her eyes. The guy was hit so hard that his prosthesis landed in the front seat of the car that hit him. The driver of the car passed out. She had never seen anything like it before. The gentleman that was hit died. It was at that time she felt the Lord was calling her to be a nurse. Rachel then had a friend to sign her up for LPN school. She felt like that was her purpose for living and the best thing that had happened to her. Rachel has worked with hospice and people, as they enter the end of life stages. Her desire has always been to help families maintain their dignity in their latter years. Rachel is a dedicated health care professional with over two decades of experience in the nursing field. Throughout her career, she has served in various areas of nursing, developing a strong foundation in patient advocacy, community outreach, and preventative health education. Rachel currently serves as the HIV and STI Testing Coordinator for the Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center Harm Reduction Program. Thank you, Rachel. Out of the Storm- Chaplain Sy Alli
In this heart-stirring episode, Chaplain Sy candidly shares his life's journey with us. It a powerful testimony that will encourage and bless those struggling with mental health, depression, PTSD, and suicidal ideations. What causes a man to spiral emotionally and mentally? What happens when a man wants to be alone in a closed dark room with holes in the floor? Why are so many men told and taught not to show their emotions? Do men know how to grieve properly? Chaplain Sy Alli was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania. He was brought up in a Christian home and attended Catholic schools. His family attended mass regularly. Chaplain Sy comes from a family of ministers. Chaplain Sy has a degree in criminal justice. He is also degreed in religious studies and chaplaincy. He has led many lives, including United States Air Force, being declared a European Powerlifting Champ, actor, working as a professional wrestler, employed as a university lecturer and hired as a dignitary protection specialist. Sy currently resides in Carmel, California where he is a site success manager with Elevo Learning. He is a youth coach and mentor and works with at-risk youths. He also ministers to several personal care homes in Monterey. Sy served in the Air Force on two military stints. One lasted seven years and the other one lasted four years. He was a professional wrestler for 15 years. He suffered many concussions and trauma. After the passing of his father, the passing of his father-in-law, and a divorce after 20 year of marriage, Sy struggled personally. Sy battled depression and life-threatening PTSD. He also attempted suicide. Sy surrendered his life to the Lord in 2020, after being pulled over and arrested for a DUI. Chaplain Sy is a father of three adult kids; Tasha Nycole, Samaria Hope and Sy Alli IV. He also has one granddaughter, Joiee Wray Kenny. Chaplain Sy is the author of the book, Out of the Storm. Sy’s story is of interest to all as mental health has been thrust to the forefront of our society! The Exalted Christ - Part 2
In this inspirational and motivational lesson, we learn from God’s Holy Word, Philippians 2:10-11, that God gave Jesus Christ supreme authority and recognition! We exalt the name of JESUS! The Old Testament scripture, Isaiah 45:22-23, speaks to the powerful message of Yahweh’s supremacy. It is the same supremacy conferred upon Jesus Christ in the New Testament scriptures in Philippians 2:10-11. It is to Jesus Christ all knees will bow, and tongues will confess Jesus Christ is Lord. In Hebrew, in Greek, in English and every other language all means all! Jesus Christ is Lord! Jesus is God! Jesus is Yahweh! The Word of God is absolute truth. It is infallible and irrefutable! We believe the Word of God! God cannot lie. He said it, we believe His Word, and that settles it! So then, this is a no brainer. Is anyone in this world exempt from bowing to the Lordship of Jesus Christ? When we die, can we alter what we believe while we were alive? After death, is it too late for salvation for a non-believer? Will those who have died and rejected Christ bend their knee in honor and respect to Jesus Christ? Will they open up their eyes in hell, and shout that Jesus Christ is Lord? What is the most relevant, important subject we can talk about today? What is the main purpose in life for every believer? Tomorrow is not promised to us. We pray for salvation for the lost on this day. We pray that you do not put it off in Jesus' Name, Amen. The Sister I Never Knew - Donna Harris
In this truly touching and emotional episode, Donna shares the recent shocking news she discovered of her blood relatives. Donna candidly talks about painful family secrets and a most recent encounter that the Lord used to lift the heavy burdens from her heart. As a strong believer in Christ, Donna is grateful to the Lord for the relational blessings in her life as a result of her discovery. Donna Kay Harris was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was the third oldest child. She had one older sister, an older brother, and one younger brother. Donna grew up in a non-Christian home. Although her mother was a single parent, nevertheless, Donna did have a relationship with her father. As a young child, Donna remembers her grandmother taking care of them. Later in life, due to a job transfer, Donna moved to Houston, Texas. She was working as a branch manager in a financial institution. Donna began attending a local church in Houston and made some great friends. In 2014, Donna had a major turn in her life. She was involved in a serious accident. It happened around the same time her mom passed. After enduring three hospitalizations, several surgeries for blood clots in the heart and brain, by God’s great grace, Donna continued to fully recover. However, the financial strain of it all got the best of her. Donna was later evicted and began sleeping in her car. Eventually, the Lord made a way for Donna to get back on her feet. She secured a new apartment and a new position at a swim school. Donna was never really close to her family and had minimal communication with them. She really only spoke to her Auntie Vickie periodically. However, one day in 2017, her Auntie Vickie told her to join the ancestry website, 23andMe. She told her a lot of family members had joined it. At that time, Donna was the only one on her mom’s biological side. Years passed, Donna did not receive any matches until around 2023.
