Jack Hanson starts noticing the pattern. The blackouts aren’t random. They follow a rhythm. One tied to something outside of him… and something inside him trying to keep pace. As the gaps in his memory grow wider, the pieces he does remember begin to take on new weight. The lake. The dreams. The feeling that whatever’s happening to him isn’t just happening inside him. The memories that remain don’t bring clarity. They bring repetition. The same place. The same feeling. The same sense that he’s not alone in any of it. So he gives it a name. “Moonlight” is where Jack stops asking if something is wrong, and instead, starts wondering how long it’s been there.
