    Cycle Cinema: On Any Sunday

Send us Fan Mail Binge Moto Bonus Episode: Cycle Cinema #3 – On Any Sunday (1971) We're bringing you a special bonus episode of the Binge Moto Podcast! Recorded on location at the Motorcycle Inn in Kodak, Tennessee, during the 2026 Motorcyclist Map Fall Rally, this episode features Bryan Pullara and Brannen Butts of Action Motorcycles for the third installment of Cycle Cinema, where we revisit classic motorcycle movies and find out how well they hold up today. After tackling Easy Rider and The Wild One in our first two episodes, we're turning our attention to Bruce Brown's legendary 1971 documentary, On Any Sunday. From Steve McQueen and Malcolm Smith to desert racing, motocross, flat track, and the wild world of motorcycling in the early 1970s, we break down what made this film iconic and what it's like watching it more than 50 years later. We discuss the incredible riding talent, the questionable safety gear, the surprisingly impressive camera work, and how much motorcycle culture has changed since 1971. Does On Any Sunday still capture the spirit of motorcycling better than today's slick, high-definition productions? This bonus episode is available in audio on Binge Moto, while the video version of Cycle Cinema #3 will be available on Brannen's Action Motorcycles YouTube channel. If you love motorcycles, classic films, or just listening to two riders debate the good, the bad, and the occasionally ridiculous, this one's for you. Binge Moto Podcast — Ride. Talk. Episode 33: Adventure Riding with Jose and Brannen

Send us Fan Mail Episode 33 | Motorcyclist Map Fall Rally – Adventure, Expectations & Reality We're coming to you from the 2026 Motorcyclist Map Fall Rally at the Motorcycle Inn in Kodak, Tennessee! In this episode of the Binge Moto Podcast, Bryan is joined by Brannen Butts of Action Motorcycles and Jose Peralta to recap a weekend of adventure riding, great conversations, unpredictable weather, and a few unexpected detours. We kick things off with our experiences on Friday's Adventure Test Ride, discussing the different levels of ADV riding, the challenges we encountered, and how expectations don't always match reality once the pavement ends. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for Saturday. Extreme weather forced us to cancel our planned ride, but it gave us plenty of time to talk motorcycles. Topics include: Friday's Adventure Test Ride: The good, the bad, and the challenging. Different levels of adventure riding and knowing your limits. ADV expectations vs. reality: Are we buying into the marketing hype? Our disappointment over Saturday's weather-related cancellation. Trading a $30,000 Ducati Multistrada for a 500cc Honda: What do you gain, and what do you give up? A sneak peek at our upcoming Cycle Cinema episode, where Bryan and Brannen revisit Bruce Brown's legendary 1971 motorcycle documentary On Any Sunday. And because we can't talk motorcycles all the time, our thoughts on HBO's Lanterns heading into the season finale. Whether you're an experienced adventure rider, just getting started, or simply enjoy talking motorcycles with friends, there's something here for everyone. Subscribe to Binge Moto Podcast for more motorcycle adventures, rider interviews, reviews, and conversations about life on two wheels. Episode 32: From Iron Butt to ADV Cannonball — 7,600 Miles in 10 Days with Brian Hunnicutt

Send us Fan Mail In Episode 32 of the Binge Moto Podcast, I sit down with California rider Brian Hunnicut to talk about his recent run in the ADV Cannonball — an eight-day, mixed-surface rally from Plymouth, Massachusetts, to Monterey, California. Brian finished 11th overall in points, but there’s another stat that really stands out: he was the first rider to reach the finish in Monterey — arriving roughly 10 hours ahead of everyone else. And getting to the starting line was an adventure of its own. Rather than shipping his BMW GS from his home in the San Francisco area to Massachusetts, Brian rode it across the country, completing an Iron Butt Coast to Coast ride of roughly 3,000 miles in under 40 hours — then turned around and tackled the ADV Cannonball back across America. We talk about his strategy for extreme long-distance riding, managing fatigue, his motorcycle setup, navigating the Cannonball’s checkpoint and points system, and what it was like riding and socializing with the other competitors along the way. We also get into something that doesn’t always get talked about: the importance of having support from your spouse, family, and loved ones when your hobbies involve this much time, travel, risk, and commitment. From San Francisco to Massachusetts and then back across the country to Monterey, this is one serious motorcycle adventure. Ride. Talk. Repeat. Send us Fan Mail Brett and Tonya Morrison from Morrison’s Enroute are back on the Binge Moto Podcast! When we last talked with them in November, Brett and Tonya had made their way from Alaska to Baja, Mexico, riding mostly unpaved back roads on motorcycles they had purchased just weeks before starting the trip—with virtually no previous motorcycle experience. Now they’ve made it all the way to Panama. Brannen Butts from Action Motorcycles joins me as we catch up with Brett and Tonya and hear about everything that’s happened since their last visit. We talk about their experiences riding through the U.S., Mexico, and Central America, the incredible places they’ve seen, the challenges they’ve faced, what they’ve learned after months of living and traveling by motorcycle, and what comes next as they prepare to continue into South America. From complete motorcycle beginners to riding their way across the Americas, Brett and Tonya’s adventure continues—and they have plenty of stories to tell. 🏍️ Ride. Talk. Repeat. Send us Fan Mail Brannen Butts of Action Motorcycles is back on the Binge Moto Podcast, and he's got a lot of miles — and stories — to catch us up on. We start with Brannen's recent motorcycle adventure through Kyrgyzstan, riding through some incredible and remote terrain. He breaks down what the trip was really like, the roads, the scenery, the challenges, and what makes riding in Kyrgyzstan so different from a typical motorcycle trip. We also catch up on his travels through London and France, before heading back to the U.S. for a scouting trip through Tennessee for the upcoming Motorcyclist Map Fall Rally. That Tennessee trip took an unexpected turn when Brannen's dad, Bradley Butts, crashed and broke his leg. We talk about what happened, how Bradley handled it, and why he's one tough dude. Then it's my turn. After nearly three months without my Indian Challenger, I finally got it back with a rebuilt engine. The long repair saga was finally over... except the story has a twist ending I don't think anyone saw coming. We talk about the repair experience, what happened when I finally got the Indian back, and where things went from there. It's motorcycles, international travel, crashes, questionable decisions, new bikes and plenty of stories from the road. Ride. Talk. Thompson, Gonzo Roots & the Hell’s Angels Myth In Episode 18, Bryan sits down with friend of the show Jennifer “Sundance” Ringelsbaugh for a deep dive into Hell’s Angels: A Strange and Terrible Saga and the wild world of Hunter S. Thompson. Together they unpack the life of the man who essentially invented Gonzo Journalism—a chaotic blend of reporting, immersion, and personal narrative that changed nonfiction forever. Sundance and Bryan explore Hunter’s year embedded with the Angels, how he earned their trust, and how riding with them turned into one of the most unfiltered portraits of outlaw motorcycle culture ever written. They break down the media-driven panic of the 1960s, the headlines that built the Hell’s Angels legend, and how Thompson exposed the gap between who the club actually was and the monstrous mythology America projected onto them. From culture-shifting influence to raw, uncomfortable truth, the episode digs into the Angels' real lifestyle vs. the mythos, the contradictions that defined the era, and how Hunter’s relationship with the club ultimately spiraled into violence, betrayal, and one of the most infamous endings in literary journalism. If you love Hunter S. Thompson, biker history, media hysteria, or the murky place where journalism meets chaos, this is one of our most in-the-weeds deep-dives yet. Ride. Talk. Repeat.
