The Danger of Staying Where You Are | Giving It All You've Got by Ps. Nigel Brown

What happens when fear, failure, or disappointment causes you to stop moving forward? Some people spend years waiting for their circumstances to change. Others attempt something difficult, experience failure, and quietly decide never to try again. But what if the greatest danger isn't failing? What if it's remaining exactly where you are? Preaching on the opening Monday night of the Waltham Forest UK Bible Conference, Pastor Nigel Brown delivers a powerful challenge from 1 Timothy 4:15–16 about spiritual growth, hidden preparation, and giving everything you've got to God's purpose for your life. God is often developing something in us long before anyone can see the results. David spent years in obscurity before facing Goliath. The disciples struggled with insecurity and comparison before becoming pillars of the early church. Yet hidden growth was never meant to remain hidden forever. Through unforgettable illustrations from history, ministry, and everyday life, Pastor Brown challenges believers to confront the fear that keeps them from growing. In this message, discover: Why seasons of obscurity don't mean God has forgotten you. How past failures can quietly become excuses for staying stuck. Why visible spiritual progress matters more than perfection. How fear can keep you from fulfilling God's calling. Why giving your best to God requires intentional growth and personal responsibility. A powerful challenge from the message: "You have to fear being a non-event more than the fear of the unknown." Your life is moving forward whether you realize it or not. The question is whether you're growing into the person God has called you to become. 00:00 The Purpose of Conferences 03:15 Evaluating Impact: Humanitarianism vs. Humanity 06:33 The Alabaster Box: A Symbol of Sacrifice 09:26 The Spirit of Sacrifice vs. Self-Preservation 12:20 The Power of Generosity and Faith 15:29 Hidden Progress and Growth 18:34 The Call to Action: Breaking the Alabaster Box 20:01 The Journey of Transformation 22:11 Hidden Progress: The Importance of Evidence 25:04 Moments of Revelation and Change 37:27 Overcoming Youthful Challenges in Ministry 41:20 The Importance of Growth and Responsibility 45:58 Giving Your All: The Path to Progress 54:03 Facing Fear and Embracing Growth 01:00:21 The Call to Action: Stepping Out in Faith ## CONNECT Find a CFM Church near you: https://cfmmap.org Enjoying Taking the Land? Your Phone Is Stealing Your Soul.. Here’s How to Take It Back | Ps Packia Raj

Is your phone receiving more of your attention than God, your family, or your calling? In this challenging message from the San Antonio Bible Conference, Pastor Packia Raj exposes how social media can quietly influence our attention, identity, relationships, and spiritual direction. Using 1 Samuel 15:22–23, he shows how repeated distraction can become control—and why obedience, discernment, and the lordship of Jesus are essential in a screen-saturated world. This message will challenge you to examine: - What receives your first attention each day - How comparison creates discontentment - Whether your feed is shaping your faith - The influence of online voices and algorithms - Practical boundaries that can protect your calling - How to put your focus back on Jesus “Views are not validation. Followers are not your fruit. The Hidden Danger of Living in the Past | Idolatry of Past Experiences by Ps. Wayman Mitchell (1976)

Are you living on what God did years ago—or experiencing Him now? In this vintage message from February 11, 1976, Pastor Wayman Mitchell warns that even genuine spiritual victories can become idols when we turn them into monuments and stop moving forward with God. Preaching from Hebrews 2:1–9, Mitchell draws lessons from the bronze serpent, Abraham’s encounter with El Olam—the everlasting God—and Elisha’s cry at the Jordan: “Where is the God of Elijah?” God is not only the God of yesterday. He is the everlasting God who is working today. Why Easy Christianity Leaves You Spiritually Weak | Weight by Ps. Richard Rubi

Easy faith may feel comfortable—but it cannot prepare you to carry real responsibility. Opening the San Antonio Bible Conference, Pastor Richard Rubi explains what Paul meant by an “eternal weight of glory.” God’s glory is more than a powerful emotion or an extraordinary church service. It is God working through ordinary people whose faith has been strengthened by affliction, devotion, discipleship, and obedience. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 4:16–18, Pastor Rubi challenges Christians and church leaders to reject lightweight Christianity, embrace the responsibility God has placed upon them, and become people whose lives and words carry spiritual weight. In this message:• Why hardship can produce deeper spiritual strength • The difference between revival and discipleship • Why conversions cannot be manufactured • How conviction, commitment, and responsibility produce spiritual authority • What happens when a church preserves its activity but loses God’s presence • Why “the glory is found in the devotion” Chapters 0:00 Introduction and Acknowledgments 0:33 The Importance of Challenging Education 3:11 Understanding Glory in Ministry 16:31 The Weight of Glory 17:23 Becoming Heavyweights in Ministry 22:51 The Difference Between Revival and Discipleship 28:22 The Call to Witnessing 29:57 The Weight of Responsibility 32:07 The Call to Discipleship 33:10 The Challenge of Cultural Conformity 36:40 Direction in Discipleship 38:23 The House of Glory 41:32 Living with Purpose and Weight 46:19 The Importance of Commitment 47:29 Seeking Glory in Ministry ## CONNECT Find a CFM Church near you: https://cfmmap.org Enjoying Taking the Land? Church Planting is Expensive | Still Sending by Ps. Artie Aragon

Sending someone into the harvest field sounds exciting at conference. But who pays the moving costs? Who helps them find a home? Who supports them when the job doesn’t come through? Who answers the phone when ministry gets difficult? Preaching from Romans 10:14–15, Pastor Artie Aragon delivers a direct challenge to churches and pastors about what it really means to SEND. From decades of ministry in Chinle, Arizona, Pastor Aragon explains that church planting cannot simply be celebrated from the conference platform. Sending people requires sacrifice, financial provision, discipleship, personal involvement, and a willingness to believe God for supernatural resources. One statement captures the seriousness of the message: “We as senders, we have to get the sending part right.” Pastor Aragon shares remarkable stories from Chinle’s church-planting ministry, including sending workers overseas, supporting international works, and watching God provide resources that seemed impossible for a small reservation church. If God can help Chinle reach beyond itself, He can help any church that is willing to see the need, count the cost, and keep sending. You Don’t Have to Be Famous to Make a Difference | Embracing Obscurity (2017) | WAYMAN WEDNESDAY

Does your life feel small because nobody seems to notice what you do? In this 2017 sermon, Pastor Wayman Mitchell explains why unseen faithfulness matters—and why we must not despise small beginnings. Preaching from Zechariah 4:10, Mitchell challenges the idea that size, crowds, and recognition determine the value of God’s work. Through biblical examples and experiences from Wickenburg, Prescott, and Guam, he shows how meaningful ministry often begins in overlooked places. If you’re serving without recognition, discouraged by slow progress, or wondering whether your contribution makes a difference, this message offers a challenge: embrace the work God has placed before you. In this message: Why gathering a crowd is different from building a church What small beginnings can teach us How God works through overlooked people and places Practical ways to serve people who are easily forgotten Why recognition is not the measure of faithfulness Chapters 00:00 Opening praise and Zechariah 4 03:05 The rebuilt temple and the older generation’s grief 04:15 “Do not despise the day of small things” 05:43 Embracing obscurity 06:13 The obsession with church size 08:24 Small churches, mega churches, and proselyting 11:11 What obscurity means 13:11 Jeremiah’s call not to seek great things 15:25 A ministry of tearing down and rebuilding 16:20 Prescott’s rough beginnings 20:05 Jesus, Nazareth, and the overlooked 21:34 John the Baptist and Amos: unlikely messengers 23:31 Wickenburg and faithful work without recognition 25:31 Faithful pastoring in Brazil, Indiana 27:26 Isaiah 58 and rebuilding the old waste places 28:54 The vision for the islands 29:51 Guam, the Marianas, and church planting 33:35 David’s hidden preparation for Goliath 35:56 Creative ministry among the overlooked 37:04 Rehab ministry and the fruit of service 38:30 The value of churches built on broken people 39:01 William Booth’s calling among London’s poor 40:30 A missionary reminder: “We’re not home” 41:09 Final challenge: obscurity may be God’s plan CONNECT Find a CFM Church near you Enjoying Taking the Land? Feel Overlooked? Your Role Matters to God | The Critical Partnership by Ps. Ray Rubi | LAS VEGAS, NM CONF

Does your part matter when someone else gets sent, seen, or celebrated? Pastor Ray Rubi explains why the people who faithfully support the mission are essential to everything God is doing. Preaching Monday night at the 2026 Bible Conference in Las Vegas, New Mexico, Pastor Rubi explores “The Critical Partnership”—the relationship between those committed to stay in the local church and those called to go and preach the gospel. Through David’s example in 1 Samuel 30:17–25, this message shows why those who go into battle and those who stay with the supplies share in the victory. Discover: • Why serving behind the scenes has lasting significance. • How a strong local church makes world evangelism possible. • How sending workers creates opportunities for others to grow. • Why missionaries and their home congregations need each other’s prayers. • How to move from drifting to committed service. Whether you are preparing to go, faithfully serving at home, or returning from a season of ministry, this message will challenge you to embrace your part in God’s purpose. Your Life Is Running Out. What Are You Spending It On? by Ps. John Perry

Your life is being spent whether you realize it or not. The real question is: What are you spending it on? Preaching from 2 Timothy 4:6–8, Pastor John Perry confronts one of the unavoidable realities of life. Our time is limited. Every day takes something out of us. Like the battery in your phone, your life is constantly draining. You cannot choose whether your life will be spent. You can choose what it will be spent on. In this message, Pastor Perry challenges believers to live with eternal purpose, to fight a fight worth fighting, finish a race worth finishing, and keep a faith worth keeping. One line captures the message: “Don't just die old. Die finished.” The tragedy isn't simply that life is short. The tragedy is pouring your life into something that ultimately doesn't matter. Stop Running From What God Called You to Fight by Ps. Dan Stephan | 2026 Sydney Conf.

What if the thing you keep asking God to remove is the very thing He intends you to conquer? Preaching from 2 Samuel 23:20 at the 2026 Sydney Conference, Pastor Dan Stephen looks at Benaiah, one of David's mighty men, who didn't run when he found a lion in a pit. He went after it. This message is a challenge to reject spiritual passivity, confront the battles standing between you and your calling, and recover an aggressive confidence in what God can do. There will always be adversaries when God opens a door. The question is whether we retreat from the lion or chase it. In this sermon: Why difficulty is often connected to destiny The difference between self-confidence and God-confidence How passivity quietly buries calling Why discipleship keeps your spiritual edge What happens when believers attempt something bigger than themselves How a few courageous decisions can completely change your future Scripture: 2 Samuel 23:20 Message: Chase the Lion Speaker: Pastor Dan Stephen Event: 2026 Sydney Bible Conference If this message challenged you, share it with someone who needs to stop retreating and start moving forward. How to Know If Your Faith Is Actually Real | Image Vs. Truth by Ps. Wayman Mitchell

Crowds, influence, and religious knowledge can create a convincing image—but Jesus looks for something deeper: a genuinely changed heart. In this Wayman Wednesday message from John 9:35–41, we examine the difference between appearing religious and truly knowing Jesus Christ. The Pharisees possessed recognition, structure, and knowledge, yet their pride kept them from recognizing the work of God directly in front of them. This sermon challenges us to look beyond numbers, reputation, and outward success and confront the question Jesus asked the man whose sight had been restored: “Do you believe on the Son of God?” You’ll discover: • Why popularity is not proof of spiritual truth • How expectations can prevent us from recognizing God • Why religious knowledge cannot replace a personal encounter with Christ • The true evidence of a changed heart and life • What it means to possess eternal life through the Son of God Key Scriptures: John 9:35–41, Romans 12:1–2, Isaiah 7:14, Micah 5:2, Matthew 16:13–18, John 3:1–3, 1 John 5:10–13, and Matthew 7:21–23. What matters most isn’t the image we present—it’s whether our lives have truly been changed by Jesus Christ. Don’t Give Up on Them Yet | Pastor Garret King

TakingTheLandPodcast.com Someone in your life may look completely uninterested in God. They may have rejected every invitation, ignored every conversation, and shown no outward sign of change. But you don't know what God may already be stirring inside them. In Luke 19, Zacchaeus was known as a corrupt tax collector, a traitor, and a sinner. Everyone in Jericho thought they knew exactly what kind of man he was. What they couldn't see was that something had already begun happening in his heart. He climbed a tree hoping to see Jesus. He had no idea Jesus was looking for him. In this message, “A Tale of a Tree,” Pastor Garret King of Tucson, Arizona examines the conversion of Zacchaeus and the incredible grace of Jesus toward people others have written off. We cannot save anyone. But God can use our friendship, testimony, prayers, invitations, and faithfulness to help someone see Jesus more clearly. Don't give up on them yet. 📖 Scripture: Luke 19:1-10 If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who is praying for a loved one, friend, coworker, or family member who seems far from God. How Faith Dies in One Generation | Ps. Paul Stephens

Israel had seen miracles, deliverance, supernatural provision, and victory. Yet Judges records the tragedy that followed: “another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord, nor the work which He had done for Israel.” How did that happen? This message examines the dangers of partial obedience, silence in the home, cultural influence, fading spiritual leadership, and assuming our children will inherit a relationship with God simply because they grew up around church. Pastor Stephens also challenges young people directly: your parents' relationship with Jesus cannot become your substitute for knowing Him yourself. In this message: • Why spiritual legacies can disappear in a single generation • The responsibility of parents and grandparents • Why children need to hear your testimony • How compromise can multiply in the next generation • The danger of allowing the world to shape your children's appetites • Why church kids need their own encounter with Jesus • How every member of a congregation influences the young people watching them Key Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:4-9 Judges 2:7-12 Deuteronomy 4:9-10 Joshua 4:5-7 Psalm 127:3 Matthew 5:14-16 Ecclesiastes 12:1 Psalm 119:9-10 If we want another generation to know God, we cannot be silent about what God has done. What To Do If You Miss The Rapture | Pastor Lopez

Pastor Lopez preaches an unusual message from Matthew 24 and Revelation designed not only for Christians today, but for the people they fear may one day be left behind. What happened? What happens next? And most importantly, what should you do? From the rise of the Antichrist and the Great Tribulation to the Mark of the Beast, persecution, the return of Jesus Christ, and the urgent need for salvation, Pastor Lopez walks through his understanding of Bible prophecy and delivers one overriding warning: Don't wait until tomorrow to get right with God. This message was originally preached on May 26, 2021, so references to political leaders, international conflicts, technology, UFO reports, inflation, and other current events reflect the world as it existed at that time. Some connections between those events and end-times prophecy represent Pastor Lopez's personal interpretation and speculation. Key Scriptures: Matthew 24:21-22 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 2 Thessalonians 2 Daniel 9:27 Revelation 6-14 Revelation 13:16-18 Revelation 19:11-16 Luke 21:36 If this message makes you think of someone you love, don't just think about them. God Is Going to Finish What He Started in You | The Assurance of Salvation by Ps. Wayman Mitchell

Can you really know that you’re saved? Pastor Wayman Mitchell preaches from Ephesians 1 on the assurance of salvation and one of the most encouraging truths in Scripture: God is committed to finishing what He started in you. New converts and longtime Christians alike can struggle with condemnation. Old habits surface. Wrong thoughts return. The devil accuses you and tells you, “You haven’t really changed. You’ll always be this way.” But God says something different. In this message, Pastor Mitchell explains what it means to be redeemed by the blood of Jesus, accepted in Christ, and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. That seal is more than a religious idea. It speaks of ownership. God has put His mark on those who belong to Him. Philippians 1:6 says: “He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Your confidence is not that you are strong enough to save yourself. Your confidence is in the God who saved you and is working to bring His purposes to completion. Scriptures: Ephesians 1:3-14, Romans 6:23, Isaiah 52:3, Acts 20:28, Colossians 1:12-14, Romans 8:1, Luke 10:20, Philippians 1:6, Jude 24-25 Subscribe for more classic preaching from Pastor Wayman Mitchell every Wayman Wednesday. 00:42 Why Christians Doubt Their Salvation 01:21 Ephesians 1: God Is Dedicated to Your Salvation 03:27 God Had a Plan Before the World Began 04:50 God Is Not Limited by Time 05:27 God Is Going Somewhere 06:53 When God Interrupts Your Plans 07:34 How Prophecy Brought Mary to Bethlehem 09:19 God Has a Purpose for Your Life 10:28 Why We Need Redemption 11:44 Jesus Paid a Debt You Could Never Pay 14:04 Redeemed and Forgiven Through His Blood 15:04 You Can Have Assurance of Salvation 16:26 “You Will Always Be an Addict” Is a Lie 18:10 God Has Put His Mark on You 19:00 Sealed With the Holy Spirit 20:03 What the Seal of God Means 21:25 Your Name Is Written in Heaven 22:19 The Seven Sons of Sceva 23:51 God Will Complete What He Started 25:00 Israel’s Great Mistake 26:17 If God Wanted to Destroy You, He Would Have Left You in Egypt 27:08 God Is Able to Keep You From Falling 27:44 When the Devil Says You Won’t Make It Notes ALL PROCEEDS GO TO WORLD EVANGELISM Locate a CFM Church near you: https://cfmmap.org We need five-star reviews!
