Fourteen Days
Transmission 05 of 10. Two letters this week. The first went out from my solicitor two weeks after that night. Preserve these records. Here is the list. Acknowledge within fourteen days. Nobody acknowledged it. Nobody refused it either. The fourteen days ran out, and then it was summer. The second is the only letter anybody ever sent back to me. Three years later. The firm was merging and my file was going into storage. Read paragraph three. Then read paragraph four, and look at the date. That is why there are ten of these and not forty. I did not pick the number. It is a retention policy.
