    EP#31 - Demolition Man (1993)

    In this month's episode, Charlie and George have had an attitude adjustment and enhanced their calm, ready to take on 1993 sci-fi satirical shoot 'em up, Demolition Man! Revisiting the 1993 action classic, the boys discuss the shiny future tech of 2032, Stallone vs Snipes and some dubious fashion choices. There's the standard production chat, alternative casting in Coulda Woulda Shoulda and (cue trumpets) exciting new feature, Suspicious Spin-Offs! Be warned there are bad Stallone impressions and repeated violations of the verbal morality statute.

    EP#30 - Review of 2018

    In this special podcast, the brothers McGhee look back at the best (and worst) films of 2018. Films like Ready Player One, Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War, Deadpool 2, Mission: Impossible - Fallout, A Quiet Place, Venom and Bohemian Rhapsody all get a mention. The boys also diverge into less blockbustery territory with their favourite indie/arthouse films like 3 Billboards and Bad Times at El Royale. There's also made-up awards, the usual bad impressions and George goes on a mini-rant about a certain sci-fi sequel.     EP#29 - Die Hard (1988)

    In this month's episode, Charlie and George head to Nakatomi Plaza to discuss controversial Christmas film and all around action classic Die Hard. The boys discuss the film's literary roots, the key contributions from Predator (insert link) maestro John McTiernan, the genius of Alan Rickman, classic 1980's douchebags and fond memories of the PS1 game "Die Hard Trilogy".     In this year's Halloween special, Charlie and George get spooky with the Ghost With The Most, Beetlejuice!     EP#27 - JCVD Special - Bloodsport/Hard Target

    In this month's episode, Charlie and George celebrate The Muscles From Brussels that is Jean Claude Van Damme! In a special double bill, first up is JCVD's breakout feature, the brick-breaking cult classic that is Bloodsport, celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year. Next up, they travel to the sweaty bayous of New Orleans, to tackle mullets, muscles and hobo hardmen in John Woo's Hard Target! Along the way, the boys discuss fashion faux pas, frequent flashbacks, detective doves and Lance Henrikson's intense approach to playing the piano.     Episode 26 - RECENT Ramble - Sept 2018

    In this month's Recent Ramble, Charlie and George round up of the remaining summer blockbusters (all sequels) - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Equalizer 2, Incredibles 2 and Mission: Impossible - Fallout. On the smaller screen, George ponders whether the new Netflix show Lost in Space is worth a watch and Charlie bigs up latest series of Better Call Saul, Money Heist and Jack Ryan. In Gaming, Charlie shares his love of web-slinging in the new Spider-man PS4 game and some of the recent beta launches he's taken part in. Too recent for you?     Episode 24 - Mission Impossible - SPECIAL

    In this month's episode, Charlie and George's mission, which they've chosen to accept, is to review Mission: Impossible and Mission: Impossible 2. With the release of the latest instalment, Mission: Impossible – Fallout join the Brothers McGhee as they go back to the beginning, looking at the spy franchise that Tom Cruise built. They discuss the classic espionage, Brian De Palma-drama of the first instalment, as well as the action-packed, multiple-masked insanity of the John Woo sequel.     Episode 23 - Jurassic Park (1993)

    In this months episode, Charlie and George are flown to a secret island off the coast to Costa Rica to rediscover Jurassic Park! In celebrating the films 25th anniversary and the current release of the fifth installment, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the boys evaluate what makes it such a classic blockbuster. They discuss the battle for the rights to the original novel, ground breaking CGI, Standard Spielbergian Suspense and of course, the natural wonder of the world that is Jeff Goldblum.     To coincide with the most recent Star Wars spin off - Solo: A Star Wars Story, Retro Ramble decided it was time to go back to 1981 to check out Harrison Ford's other most famous character - Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark! Join Charlie and George as they embark on a thrilling global adventure to liberate holy antiquities. They discuss the legendary stunts, cool costumes, nasty Nazis all the while trying to avoid saying the word "iconic" too much.     With it being the start of film packed blockbuster season George and Charlie felt it was time for another Recent Ramble to share their thoughts on what's sure to be one of the year's biggest releases, Avengers: Infinity War. Keeping everything SPOILER FREE and resisting the temptation to go full nerd this is a short episode with the other half being dedicated to an update on TV Shows we are streaming, Books we're reading and even a quick word from Charlie on the latest PS4 graphics fest that is God of War. For our dedicated fan base and lovers of all things retro, Retro Ramble will be back very soon with Episode 16 as we head back to 1980 for Raiders of The Lost Ark in a tenuous link to the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story.
