Not Another Healer

Ki Marie

For so long I've looked past myself for healing. For someone to tell me what's wrong and how to fix it - OH - And which way to go. I never looked within. Until now... My name is Ki ("Key"). I have been dreaming of starting a podcast for a long time...

This is storytelling, connection, message, and reflection. We work together on a journey of healing from within. This is a work in progress! No music, no editing, no fabulous production. Just honest words for whomever needs to hear without the glamour and pizazz. Please, allow this process and growth as we embark on this new endeavor.

    Rethinking Resilience

What if resilience isn’t about always being strong? What if the crying, the exhaustion, the doubt, the moments when you wanted to give up, and the times you just needed to stop and breathe are actually part of the story too? In this episode, I’m looking at resilience a little differently. We celebrate people for making it through, but we don’t always talk about what it cost them to get there. Sometimes resilience isn’t some big, powerful moment—it’s simply asking yourself, “Do I have one more step in me?” and finding a way to take it. This is a conversation about being tired, being human, allowing yourself to feel, and realizing that you don’t have to abandon yourself just because life got hard. What's resilience mean to you? ❤️

    Believe, KNOW, See, Receive...

Have you ever caught yourself speaking fear over your own life without even realizing it? I have. In this episode, I share how losing my job sent me into one of the darkest places I'd ever experienced, and how I slowly began changing the conversation I was having with myself. We talk about manifestation, belief, knowing, and the power of becoming intentional about our healing. I'm not here to tell you that thinking positively will make everything work out. Life doesn't work that way. But I do believe we have a role in how we move forward, what we cultivate, and the stories we continue to tell ourselves. So let's talk about what you're planting, what you're speaking, and what healing might look like when you begin participating in your own journey. ❤️

To My Young Ladies, With Love.

Come to the Front, Young Lady — This one is for the young women who are still becoming, still figuring it out, still learning how to love themselves, trust themselves, and navigate this thing called life—and when I say young, I’m talking to the young at heart, too. Come to the front, because look at you… you made it. You have survived things you never thought you would, carried heartbreak, disappointment, confusion, loss, and moments when giving up felt easier than continuing, and yet—you’re still here. This episode is a reminder to pause and honor how far you’ve come, to remember that what you’ve survived does not get to define who you are or who you can become, and to know that you don’t have to have it all figured out, become someone else, or wait for permission to step fully into your life. So, to all my young ladies… come to the front. This is your moment to remember who you are. Take what serves you, and leave the rest. — Ki (Key)

    Survival Was Never the Destination

Survival got me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. It taught me how to endure, adapt, stay vigilant, and keep moving no matter what. But what happens when the danger is gone and you're still living like the emergency never ended? In this episode, I reflect on growing up in survival mode, the ways those skills helped me, and the surprising realization that I had been making decisions based on a life I had already left behind. We talk about hypervigilance, rest, peace, and what it means to stop running from something and finally start moving toward something. Maybe survival isn't the destination. Maybe it's the bridge.

A Reminder For When You Forget...

Some days, we need to be reminded of what we already know. This week, I needed those reminders too. So this episode is a quiet space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with the truths we sometimes forget—that we are worthy, enough, allowed to rest, free to change, and fully capable. These aren't affirmations meant to convince you of something that isn't true. They're reminders of what has always been within you. And if you can't believe it today, borrow my belief in you until you can find your own. Take what serves you. Leave the rest.

The Story Is Bigger Than I Was Told...

I spent years believing faith meant certainty, obedience, and having the right answers. After losing my mother and stepping away from the church, I found myself asking questions I had once been afraid to ask. What followed was a journey through grief, curiosity, spirituality, and a deeper search for truth. In this episode, I share my experience with church hurt, the difference between religion and spirituality, and the realization that the Divine is far bigger than the boxes we often place around it. If you've ever questioned what you were taught, struggled with fear-based beliefs, or wondered if there was more to the story, this conversation is for you. Because maybe faith was never meant to be the absence of questions. Maybe faith is having the courage to keep seeking, even when the answers change.

    Perfect In Your Own Way!

What if perfection was never the assignment? In this episode I’m giving my honest opinion about the ways perfectionism can shape how we see our bodies, our relationships, our healing, and even our spiritual growth. Through personal stories of body image, marriage, self-worth, and learning to give ourselves—and others—grace, I explore what happens when we stop trying to become someone else’s version of perfect and start discovering who we already are. Maybe you don’t need to fix yourself. Maybe you need to know yourself. Because growth was never about becoming flawless—it was about becoming more fully you. Please enjoy!

    Before We Go Further

Before we continue this journey together, I wanted to finally make sure you knew who you were talking to... We've been in this together for a month! Today, I simply want to let you in to my world - the woman behind the mic. This episode isn't just about my struggles and what makes me, me ... and now I'm done. Today I want you to know where these conversations are coming from and why they are so personal to me, Ki. It took me so long to publish this week because I was nervous about how you would take this information. I scrapped so many versions of this! It's not perfect, neither am I...that's what made me stop overthinking and just post. Please grant me grace.

Don't Give Up, The Dream Is Still There!

Have you ever received a vision that felt undeniable, only to find yourself stuck before taking the next step? We often tell ourselves the problem is a lack of discipline or motivation, but what if the real obstacle is fear disguised as perfectionism, procrastination, and self-doubt? In this episode, I share my own journey of wrestling with comparison, questioning my calling, and learning that I never lost the vision—I lost trust in myself. If you've been sitting on a dream, waiting for the "right" moment, this conversation is a reminder that your voice, your gifts, and your purpose are still waiting for you to trust them again.

Have you ever said yes, and really wanted or needed to say no? In this episode, we will explore the weight of saying “yes” and the POWER of saying no. Forgiveness Without Apology

In this episode, we explore the transformative power of forgiveness - not as something we do for those who hurt us, but as a gift we give ourselves. Let's unpack how letting go of resentment creates space for healing, growth and peace, even when an apology never comes. I'll also share a story about my own journey with forgiveness and the lessons it has taught me about breaking the cycles of pain. If you've ever struggled to release hurt, this conversation offers a reminder that healing can come from within, and forgiveness may be the assistance you have been seeking. You don't need another healer...

We've been taught to look outside ourselves for answers—to a voice that is not our own to tell us who we are and what comes next. But what if the wisdom you've been searching for has been within you all along? In this episode, we explore the journey of turning inward, learning to trust your own discernment, and reconnecting with the divine wisdom that already lives inside you. This isn't a rejection of healers or spiritual guidance. It's an invitation to stop outsourcing your intuition and begin cultivating your own relationship with Spirit. The answers you're seeking may not be somewhere else. They may be waiting for you to become still enough to hear them. If You Found Me...

Welcome to the very first episode of Not Another Healer. OMG, I can't believe I'm doing this!! If you found this podcast, I don't believe it was by accident. This is a space for honest conversations about healing, faith, identity, purpose, and what it means to become who you were created to be. There are no performances here, no perfect answers, and no expectation that either of us has it all figured out. In this first episode, I share why I almost didn't start this podcast, what finally changed my mind, and why I'm choosing to step out in faith anyway. You'll also hear why I named this podcast Not Another Healer and what I hope this space becomes—not a place where someone tells you who to be, but one that encourages you to listen more closely to the voice already calling you forward. Whether you're in a season of rebuilding, questioning, grieving, growing, or simply searching for something real, I'm grateful you're here. Welcome to Not Another Healer. I'm honored to walk alongside you.
