Our Source of Power and Help - Ptr. Daniel Yam (3.21.21 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP March 21, 2021 | 9 a.m. "Our Source of Power and Help" by Ptr. Daniel Yam "But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth." ~Acts 1:8 (AMP) For many of us, there is always something that we just, absolutely cannot leave the house without. What is it for you? Isn't it that if you forget to bring it, you'll have this nagging feeling of incompleteness for the rest of your day? The same goes when we conduct discipleship. When we disciple others without this some ONE or some THING, we should also feel this nagging sense of "something is missing or incomplete." Come and listen this Sunday as Ptr. Daniel Yam helps us find out from God's word Who or What "Our Source of Power and Help" is that enables and empowers us in our disciple-making! The Lordship of Christ - Rev. Anthony Techico (3.14.21 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP March 14, 2021 | 9 a.m. "The Lordship of Christ" by Rev. Anthony Techico "And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." ~Philippians 2:11 (KJV) It's easy to call Jesus our Savior - likely 10 out of 10 Christians do so! But how many would sincerely and wholeheartedly call Him LORD? How many would completely submit to Christ's Lordship and authority, and surrender to His will without reservation? Join us this Sunday as Rev. Anthony Techico preaches on and reminds us of "The Lordship of Christ" - for we often forget that Christ is not just our Savior, He is primarily our LORD! He is our Master and our Judge! And as slaves of Christ, we bear - and thus, must exemplify - His identity in our lives! No Turning Back - Rev. Jason Co (3.7.21 NMEC Worship)

COMMUNION SUNDAY WORSHIP March 7, 2021 | 9 a.m. "NO TURNING BACK" by Rev. Jason Co "Jesus responded, 'Why do you keep looking backward to your past and have second thoughts about following me? When you turn back you are useless to God’s kingdom realm.'" ~Luke 9:62 (TPT) When it comes to discipleship, many people think of it as this weekly activity with a group of Christians that they do when they feel like it, and skip when they don't. But actual discipleship is much, much more than that! Discipleship is all about commitment - there's no option to turn back! Following Jesus is all or nothing! What are you willing to commit to become a disciple of Jesus Christ? What are you willing to give up to follow Him completely and unwaveringly? Find out this Sunday as Rev. Jason Co preaches from the story of Elisha on what "NO TURNING BACK" really means and what a truly committed disciple looks like! ***Join us in celebrating Holy Communion after the message!*** YouTube: https://NMEC.Online/YouTube Facebook: https://NMEC.Online/Facebook ----- If you wish to support the Lord’s work through our church: https://NMEC.Online/Giving

Authentic Discipleship - Rev. Eugene Hao (2.28.21 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP February 28, 2021 | 9 a.m. "Authentic Discipleship (Magpakatotoo Ka Otherwise Wala Kang Patotoo)" by Rev. Eugene Hao "You can’t keep your true self hidden forever; before long you’ll be exposed. You can’t hide behind a religious mask forever; sooner or later the mask will slip and your true face will be known." ~Luke 12:2 (MSG) As we aim to make disciples like Jesus did, we must always keep in mind that a "good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit" (Matt. 7:17). No matter how big, strong, and healthy a tree looks like, ultimately bad trees can and will only bear bad fruits! In the same way, no matter how spiritually strong, healthy, and righteous a discipler appears to be, sooner or later any sin that he/she is harboring or living in will be exposed - whether in word or deed, or by the fruits that are produced! This Sunday, let us learn from Rev. Eugene Hao as he preaches about the significance of "Authentic Discipleship", and the immense impact and consequences of the true righteousness and testimony of a discipler towards making authentically spiritual, genuinely committed disciples of Christ! ----- Watch or listen to the online worship at the ff. channels: YouTube: https://NMEC.Online/YouTube Facebook: https://NMEC.Online/Facebook Spotify Podcast: https://NMEC.Online/Spotify Apple Podcast: https://NMEC.Online/ApplePod ----- Connect with us online: https://NMEC.Online/Connect Support the Lord’s work: https://NMEC.Online/Giving

As a Father with a Son - Ptr. Daniel Yam (2.21.21 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP February 21, 2021 | 9 a.m. "As a Father with a Son" by Ptr. Daniel Yam "You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others." ~2 Timothy 2:2 (NLT) As we continue our focus and journey on discipleship in striving to achieve our 2021 theme of "Discipling the Nations, Finishing the Mission", we sometimes encounter and ask ourselves this question: What kind of relationship should we develop with those that God entrusted to us when it comes to discipleship? This Sunday, Ptr. Daniel Yam continues our discipleship sermon series by looking into how we can help others become mature and faithful followers of Jesus. We will observe some of the ways Paul mentored Timothy "As a Father with a Son". As we learn from the Apostle, may we, too, develop the same burden for the people God placed in our lives! ----- Watch or listen to the online worship at the ff. channels: YouTube: https://NMEC.Online/YouTube Facebook: https://NMEC.Online/Facebook Spotify Podcast: https://NMEC.Online/Spotify Apple Podcast: https://NMEC.Online/ApplePod ----- If you wish to support the Lord’s work through our church: https://NMEC.Online/Giving Connect with our church online: https://NMEC.Online/Connect

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP February 14, 2021 | 9 a.m. "Rekindling Our Love for Jesus" by Rev. Julius Manzano "Think about those times of your first love and turn back to me again and work as you did before." ~Revelation 2:5a (TLB) Has 2020 been difficult for you? Have all the sufferings and hardships robbed you of your joy, faith, and most especially LOVE for our Savior? As Valentine's Day approaches, it's really difficult for many to feel and show love for ourselves, our neighbors and even to God, amidst all the loss that we have experienced last year - loss of our security, health, livelihood, and even loved ones. May we be encouraged and uplifted this Sunday, as Rev. Julius Manzano preaches a message reminding us of our ever-loving and ever-faithful God and His never-ending goodness and grace! Don't Talk To Me About Money - Rev. Jason Co (2.7.21 NMEC Worship)

COMMUNION SUNDAY WORSHIP February 7, 2021 | 9 a.m. "Don't Talk To Me About Money" by Rev. Jason Co "Jesus looked straight at him with love and said, 'You need only one thing. Go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; then come and follow me.'" ~Mark 10:21 (GNT) Many Christians desire to be disciples but are unwilling to pay the full cost of discipleship. Discipleship is all about surrendering to God and dying to oneself. What is our greatest hindrance to truly following Jesus? What are the idols in our hearts preventing us from completely submitting to the Lordship of Christ? This Sunday, Rev. Jason Co preaches on the obstacles and stumbling blocks we face in our discipleship journey through the story of Jesus and the rich young man, and shows us how Jesus dealt with the idols in the rich man's heart and how He is dealing with ours today!

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP January 31, 2021 | 9 a.m. "Why Do You Follow Jesus?" by Ptr. Daniel Yam "Then Jesus said to his disciples: If any of you want to be my followers, you must forget about yourself. You must take up your cross and follow me." ~Matthew 16:24 (CEV) Many of us claim to "follow Jesus." But if someone were to ask us, "Why do you follow Jesus?" would we have an answer? How will we answer this question? Come and listen to our Sunday Worship message this week, as Ptr. Daniel Yam talks about the people who wanted to follow Jesus, but had wrong motives and misunderstood Him. What will become of them? Discipleship: WDJD (What Did Jesus Do?) - Rev. Eugene Hao (1.24.21 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP January 24, 2021 | 9 a.m. "Discipleship: WDJD (What Did Jesus Do?)" by Rev. Eugene Hao "If you hear My voice and abide in My word, you are truly My disciples." ~John 8:31 (VOICE) Last week, we learned the complete meaning of the Great Commission, that our disciple-making must not just stop with bringing people to Christ or even helping them grow in spiritual maturity. More than that, fulfilling the Great Commission means making disciples that make even MORE disciples, the same way that Jesus did! This Sunday, Rev. Eugene Hao continues our series on what real disciple-making looks like, by examining the life and character of Jesus Christ, as well as His words and deeds, in determining the purpose and principles behind His ministry towards His disciples in order to answer the question of "Discipleship: WDJD (What Did Jesus Do?)"!

Making Disciples the Jesus Way - Rev. Jason Co (1.17.21 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP January 17, 2021 | 9 a.m. "Making Disciples the Jesus Way" by Rev. Jason Co "'Come, follow Me,' Jesus said, 'and I will make you fishers of men.'" ~Matthew 4:19 (BSB) "Come, follow me!" Jesus extended this invitation to His first disciples nearly two thousand years ago at the beginning of His earthly ministry. Towards the end, He commanded these same men to make disciples of all nations. But who or what really is a "disciple"? And how do we make genuine disciples in the truest sense and not just in name only? Find out this Sunday as Rev. Jason Co shares with us what the scriptures say about "Making Disciples the Jesus Way" - Jesus' definition of a disciple and His method on how to make one! ----- Watch the Sunday Worship video: NMEC YouTube: https://NMEC.Online/YouTube NMEC Facebook: https://NMEC.Online/Facebook Listen online via podcast: https://NMEC.Online/Spotify https://NMEC.Online/ApplePod Video (MP4) and audio (MP3) download links are available upon request. ----- If you wish to support the Lord’s work through our church: https://NMEC.Online/Giving Connect with our church online: https://NMEC.Online/Connect

What is a Disciple? - Rev. Anthony Techico (1.10.21 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP January 10, 2021 | 9 a.m. "What is a Disciple?" by Rev. Anthony Techico "My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." ~Galatians 2:20 (NLT) Many Christians consider and call themselves a "disciple" of Christ simply because they believe in Him. But is that all there is to being a disciple? Can one be a true disciple if one still lives for himself and not for Jesus? Can one be genuinely called a follower of Christ if one's life still exhibits the old self and has not shown evidence of being modeled after Christ and motivated by God's love? Come and listen this Sunday as Rev. Anthony Techico leads us on a careful study of the scriptures to bring clarity and a definitive Biblical answer to the question, "What is a Disciple?" ----- Watch the Sunday Worship video: NMEC YouTube: https://NMEC.Online/YouTube NMEC Facebook: https://NMEC.Online/Facebook Listen online via podcast: https://NMEC.Online/Spotify https://NMEC.Online/ApplePod Video (MP4) and audio (MP3) download links are available upon request. ----- If you wish to support the Lord’s work through our church: https://NMEC.Online/Giving Connect with our church online: https://NMEC.Online/Connect

Are You Sitting On Your "But"? - Rev. Jason Co (1.3.21 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP January 3, 2021 | 9 a.m. "Are You Sitting on Your 'But'?" by Rev. Jason Co "My dear friends, you always obeyed when I was with you. Now that I am away, you should obey even more. So work with fear and trembling to discover what it really means to be saved." ~Philippians 2:12 (CEV) Can you become a Christian and not follow Jesus? Can you be called a Christ-follower without being a disciple? Today, the word "Christian" has lost its meaning as it is no longer descriptive of what it should be. Who really is a Christian? Is he someone who just prayed the prayer of acceptance or is there something more? What are the common hindrances in becoming a true follower of Christ? Find out this Sunday as Rev. My Final Transformation - Rev. Jason Co (12.6.20 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP December 6, 2020 | 9 a.m. "My Final Transformation" by Rev. Jason Co "All of us, then, reflect the glory of the Lord with uncovered faces; and that same glory, coming from the Lord, who is the Spirit, transforms us into his likeness in an ever greater degree of glory." ~2 Corinthians 3:18 (GNT) Why is God is so slow in transforming us? Why didn't He just make us instantly perfect the moment we believed in Jesus Christ? Why do we have to go through all these stages of transformation just like the life cycle of a butterfly? Will there ever come a day when we will be perfect and our transformation will be complete? SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP November 29, 2020 | 9 a.m. "The Love for God Compels Obedience” by Rev. Anthony Techico "But so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me." ~John 14:31 (NASB) We've seen many examples of people do extraordinary things "in the name of love" - going to great lengths to do or get something for the one they love, even to the point of giving up their lives! In the same way, if our love for God is deep and genuine, it would be our priority to please Him by doing whatever it takes to know His will and obey His commandments. Join us this Sunday as Rev. Anthony Techico preaches on Jesus' life and ministry, and how He served as the perfect model for us a love for God that produces obedience and commitment to His commandments - to the point of giving up His life! - all because "The Love for God Compels Obedience!" ***Our church has a Missions Fund for our church-supported missionaries, missions agencies, and parachurch organizations. SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP November 15, 2020 | 9 a.m. "Sana All" by Rev. Jason Co "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." ~Matthew 25:40 (NIV) As the current health crisis rages on, very few have been spared of the suffering and hardship it has caused - physically, emotionally, and most especially materially. And the impact has been especially severe to the impoverished and destitute, as the pandemic has taken away even more - of not all - of the already very little that they have. As we continue with our Missions Festival this month, Rev. Jason Co urges us to remember and have compassion for the least of our brothers and sisters. "Sana All" of the poor, hungry, and lacking in our midst will be blessed and provided for inasmuch as God has cared for and been generous to each one of us. ***Our church has a Missions Fund for our church-supported missionaries, missions agencies, and parachurch organizations. Eugene Hao "I have made you a light for the nation's so that you would save people all over the world." ~Acts 13:47 (GW) Many think that in sharing the gospel to those around us, we are already fulfilling God's commandment of "making disciples of all nations". But there are actually major differences between evangelism and missions, with the latter requiring so much more work, people, resources, and sacrifices - and thus, needing so much more of our prayers and support. This Sunday, Rev. Transformed Ministry: In Action - Ptr. Daniel Yam (10.18.20 NMEC Worship)

SUNDAY ONLINE WORSHIP October 18, 2020 | 9 a.m. "Transformed Ministry: In Action" by Ptr. Daniel Yam "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." ~Romans 12:1 (ESV) How is our service to the Lord? We are now in the last quarter of 2020, and while still amidst a community quarantine, this should not stop us in serving God. A key to a transformed ministry is found in Romans 12, which marks a new section - service. God's gift of salvation should lead us to action, in gratitude for His grace and mercy. After all, each one of us is saved (Romans 1-11) in order to serve (12-16). Come and listen this Sunday as Ptr. Daniel Yam exhorts us to continue to be faithful and steadfast in the race that each of us are called to run, and in the ministries that God has given us the talents and purpose for, in order that we may see "Transformed Ministry: In Action" in our service to the Lord! ----- Watch the Sunday Worship video: NMEC YouTube: https://NMEC.Online/YouTube NMEC Facebook: https://NMEC.Online/Facebook Listen online via podcast: https://NMEC.Online/Spotify https://NMEC.Online/ApplePod Download the video / audio: https://NMEC.Online/Downloads ----- If you wish to support the Lord’s work through our church: https://NMEC.Online/Giving Connect with our church online: https://NMEC.Online/Connect
