    Awaken to Belonging

In episode four of our Awaken series, we’re studying Ephesians 2:14–18 and the peace Jesus creates between us and God, and between us and one another. Because of Christ, we are no longer on the outside looking in. We belong. But that belonging is never meant to stop with us. In this conversation, we’ll talk honestly about sharing our faith, stepping toward people who may feel far from God, and inviting others into the reconciliation and family Jesus has made possible. If you’ve ever felt nervous, unqualified, or unsure how to begin a faith conversation, this episode is a reminder: you don’t have to have all the answers to help someone encounter the One who welcomes them home.

    Awaken to His Power

In episode three of our Awaken series, we open Ephesians 1 and explore what it means to be awakened to the immeasurable power of God at work in us. Paul’s prayer is that the eyes of our hearts would be enlightened, that we would truly know the hope of our calling, the richness of our inheritance, and the greatness of His power for those who believe. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is not distant or unavailable; it is present and active in the lives of God’s people today. Join us as we consider how God awakens us from striving, fear, and spiritual weariness to live with confidence in His strength, not our own.

    Awaken to Prayer

In this episode in our Awakening series, we look at Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21 and discover how intimate prayer can awaken our hearts to the presence and power of God. Though Paul was writing from prison, he did not pray selfishly or remain focused on his circumstances; instead, he knelt before the Father and prayed for others to be strengthened, rooted in love, and filled with all God has for them. Join us as we explore what it looks like to move beyond routine prayer, surrender our hearts, and meet with God in a deeper, more personal way.

    Wake Up Sleeper

This episode launches our new Awaken series in Ephesians, leading us toward Her Night in October. We’re talking about a reality many of us live in but rarely name: we’re saved, yet spiritually exhausted, and small unnoticed choices and distractions slowly cause us to drift from the Father. From his prison cell, Paul calls the Church to wake up; to pay attention, to let the Holy Spirit revive what’s grown weary, and to step back into the closeness with Jesus we were made for.

(Remastered Episode) Laying it At the Foot of the Cross

This week’s episode is a special encore with a fresh update from our host, revisiting one of our most-loved conversations for Gen X women. Gen X; often called the sandwich generation and the responsible generation. Carrying the weight of caring for parents, raising families, and holding everything together can leave little room to remember who you are in Christ. This week we talk about bringing those burdens to Jesus, staying in constant dialogue with Him, and exchanging the pressure to hold it all together for the identity of being a daughter of God.

    Why Am I So Emotional?

Gen Z lives in a world where emotions are always on display, TikToks, stories, comment sections, and viral “hot takes” that often normalize being led by whatever emotion is loudest in the moment. In this episode, we talk honestly about how social media disciples our emotional life, while often overlooking the hope, wisdom, and authority found in God’s Word. Together, we unpack what it looks like to feel our emotions without letting them rule us, to invite professional help without making it our savior, and to consistently compare what we feel with what Scripture says is true. Whether you’re Gen Z yourself or you’re leading and loving the next generation, this conversation will help you move from being emotion-led to Spirit-led, anchoring your heart in the steady truth of Scripture.

The Secret to Becoming Like Jesus

Reflecting Christ isn’t about perfectly performing for God; it’s about allowing the Holy Spirit to shape our inner life so that love, joy, peace, and the rest of the fruit of the Spirit naturally flow out of us. In this episode of In Her Calling, we talk about what it looks like to mirror Jesus in a world that is constantly rushing; learning His pace, His posture, and His presence. Together, we’ll explore how Christ modeled rest, why slowing down is not laziness but holy obedience, and how creating space in our schedules and souls helps us abide in Him more deeply. You’ll be invited to step out of hurry, into rhythms of stillness, and to let the fruit of the Spirit grow in the quiet places of your everyday life so that you can reflect Him wherever you go.

    Becoming a Daughter of God

A Powerful Daughter Mindset is a reminder that your story isn’t defined by your wounds, but by the God who redeems them. This episode explores what it means to live as a daughter who receives her Father’s love, trusts His heart, and finds her identity in who He says she is, not in performance or striving. You’ll be encouraged to let God rewrite the painful chapters of your life into a story that reveals His goodness, and to rest in the truth that you are already chosen, loved, and deeply delighted in.

    Breaking the Orphan Spirit

In this episode of In Her Calling, we talk about what it really means to carry an “orphan spirit” and how it quietly shapes the way we see God, ourselves, and our calling. We unpack how past wounds, rejection, and feelings of abandonment can become spiritual strongholds that keep us stuck in patterns of fear, striving, and insecurity, even when we love Jesus and serve in the church.Together, we walk through practical, biblical steps to break these strongholds: identifying the lies we’ve believed, replacing them with God’s Word, and learning to receive the Father’s love in a deeper way. You’ll be invited into prayers, declarations, and soul work that help you move from spiritual orphanhood into true daughterhood so you can live, lead, and love from a place of freedom, security, and confidence in Christ.

    Why Women Need Godly Mentors

In this episode, we unpack what a Titus 2 mentor-mentee relationship really looks like from both sides. Together we’ll explore how to cultivate trust, grace-filled accountability, and Christ-centered friendship so that both women grow, homes are strengthened, and the beauty of the gospel is displayed in everyday life.

    How to Build Community

Community is one of God’s sweetest gifts. The right people around us can turn ordinary moments into joy, carry us through the hard days, and remind us that we were never meant to do life alone. In this episode of In Her Calling, we’re talking about why we actually need community, what it looks like to move beyond Sunday rows and small group routines, and how to take the risk of showing up on purpose. It might mean sending the text, making the coffee date, and choosing vulnerability even when it feels scary, but it’s in those circles that God often does His deepest work in us.

    Navigating Relational Trauma

Friendship wounds can shape us more than we realize. Betrayal, rejection, distance, or broken trust can make us guarded, isolated, and hesitant to open our hearts again. In this episode of In Her Calling, we’re talking about friendship trauma, how it affects the way we connect with others, and how God can heal the places friendship has hurt us. Healing doesn’t mean pretending it didn’t hurt. It means letting God restore what the wound tried to steal.

    Faith That Doesn't Fold

Resilience isn’t something you muster up on your own; it’s something Christ forms in you along the way. In this episode, we talk about what it really looks like to keep getting back up with Jesus when life knocks you down, and how to walk with Him in the middle of disappointment, detours, and unanswered prayers. Maybe what feels like breaking is actually building. Maybe the pressure isn’t the end of your story, but the place God is making you stronger, softer, and more like Him, all at the same time. Your journey with Christ isn’t about never falling. It’s about who you’re walking with every time you rise again.

Shame Doesn't Get the Final Say

Shame has a way of convincing us that our past defines us, that our mistakes disqualify us, and that we have to hide who we really are. But that’s not the story Jesus tells. In this episode, we look at the woman at the well in Gospel of John and how Jesus met her right in the middle of her story. He saw everything she had done, every label placed on her, every reason she felt unworthy, and still chose to speak life, purpose, and identity over her. This conversation is about breaking the grip of shame and stepping into the freedom Jesus offers. You are not disqualified. You are not too far gone. And just like her, you are invited into something greater.
