Girls Gone Bible - Is Being Rich a Sin? | Girls Gone Bible

hi ggb :) today we're getting into James 1:9–12 and the reminder that our identity is not found in our circumstances, status, success, or what the world says makes us valuable, it's found in Christ. We talk about what it looks like to stay faithful through every season, especially when life feels uncertain or when your faith is being tested. James reminds us that so much of what the world values is temporary, but the person who remains steadfast under trial is blessed. This episode is about enduring the test, keeping your eyes on Jesus, and trusting that God sees your faithfulness even when no one else does. Whether you're in a season of abundance, waiting, pressure, or change, the call is the same: stay rooted in Him. God is doing something in the endurance too. this is such a good episode we love you so much. Jesus loves you more. -Ang & Ari ORDER OUR BOOK! The WallBuilders Show - A Christian Law School, Restored Military Honors, And Policy Shifts That Matter

When a culture can’t define basic words, everything downstream gets weird fast. That’s why this Good News Friday lineup isn’t just a grab bag of headlines. We talk about moments where leaders and institutions start drawing clear lines again, and why that shift matters for the future of law, policy, and everyday life. We start with Grand Canyon University announcing a new law school built to integrate a Christian worldview throughout the curriculum. We dig into why you can’t understand Western civilization or American constitutional ideas without grappling with the Christian and biblical influences that shaped key thinkers and the broader moral framework behind rights, duties, and limits on government. Then we turn to the military and a story tied to the 2021 Abbey Gate bombing, where U.S. Marines who ran toward danger receive upgraded valor awards after earlier recognition was downgraded. We talk about what honor, merit, and leadership look like when they’re taken seriously, and why that matters for morale and trust among active duty troops and veterans. From there, we break down Temporary Protected Status and the administration ending TPS for 15 nations, asking the uncomfortable but necessary question: what does “temporary” actually mean when people have stayed for decades? We also hit big national ambition with a new Space Academy modeled after West Point, plus Artemis program milestones and long-term goals that stretch from the Moon to Mars. We close with Florida welfare reform that blocks benefits from being used on things like tattoos, spa services, pornography, drugs and alcohol, tobacco products, and theme park tickets. The WallBuilders Show - Washington And The Town Destroyer Name

“Town Destroyer.” It sounds like a verdict, and for a lot of people it becomes instant proof that George Washington was a monster. We take that claim head-on and rebuild the story from the ground up, starting with what the Seneca title meant in its own cultural setting and why the nickname is tied to the Washington family before the Revolution even begins. From there, we zoom out to the bigger issue: how modern ideology can turn history into a single, predictable script where one side is always innocent and the other side is always guilty. The American Revolution does not fit that mold. We talk through the Iroquois Confederacy and its internal split, why tribal alliances shifted between Britain and the Americans, and why it matters that many Native nations fought alongside Washington and provided intelligence, troops, and scouting that shaped the war. We also confront the brutal reality of frontier warfare, including raids and massacres that targeted civilians, and we explain why Washington’s 1779 order to General Sullivan is presented as a response aimed at enemy villages involved in repeated attacks. You may still wrestle with the morality of what happened, but you will at least be working with the whole timeline instead of a slogan. Then we switch gears to a question we hear all the time: if the founders were influenced by Christianity, why doesn’t the US Constitution quote the Bible? Our answer is federalism. We compare the federal Constitution’s purpose to the Declaration’s purpose, and we point listeners to state constitutions that openly required belief in God and shaped who got sent to national office. Subscribe, share this with a friend who loves history debates, and leave a review if you want more listener Q&A like this. The WallBuilders Show - When Trials Turn Into Training - with Tom Mullins

A deal that looked like a six-week nightmare turns into a celebration and a long-term mission. We walk you through the moment Patriot Academy closes on 40 cottages that will house students, pastors, veterans, and leaders for years to come, and we talk honestly about what it feels like to stare down a deadline and watch God turn stress into momentum. If you care about Christian leadership, civic education, and building institutions that last, this story will hit home. From there, we pivot into American history you probably didn’t learn in school. Tim shares the jaw-dropping account of Revolutionary War patriot Samuel Whittemore, an 80-year-old veteran who takes on British soldiers alone, survives the impossible, and still tries to reload. It’s more than a wild story. It’s a reminder that courage and conviction are muscles, and a nation forgets who it is when it forgets what it did. Then Pastor Tom Mullins joins us to unpack his new book, Grandpa’s Wisdom: Unlocking the Secrets of a Victorious Life. We talk about “no traffic jams on the second mile,” why excellence matters in every assignment, and how integrity protects you when pressure rises. Along the way we connect biblical principles to practical habits that strengthen families, churches, and communities. If you enjoyed the conversation, subscribe to the podcast, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find these faith-and-culture conversations. What’s one piece of “grandpa wisdom” you wish every young person heard? Support the show
