Live from Dublin! Part 2 of 2

This is part one of a two-part special episode that I recently recorded live in Dublin during our latest Guadalupe Missions…mission in Ireland! Fr. Brett Jamrog and I were hosted by Catholic Mothers Ireland Founder, Sinéad Strong who both came up with the idea and did a lot of great work in organizing the event right in the heart of Dublin. In this episode we discuss Guadalupe Missions’ work to help re-evangelize Ireland, sharing Why we are here Who Our Lady of Guadalupe is Why she is relevant to Ireland’s current Catholic climate It’s a really fun episode and we’d like to send a special thanks to Sinead and John Strong, as well as Eoghan Gannon and his crew for inviting us to use the space and setting up the recording. You can follow Catholic Mothers Ireland's Podcast - Mamcast here: https://youtube.com/@catholicmothersirl?si=1vk_hWp6NgjGqYBP Enjoy!

    Episode 2 - Historical Context

Join Fr. Brett Jamrog and Guadalupe Missions' Founder Scott Watts as they kick off the first full-episode of Guadalupedia! In this episode they discuss why Our Lady appeared where and when she did - December 1531 in the heart of the Aztec Empire. Themes such as human sacrifice and the pagan roots of pre-Columbian Tenochtitlan are explained in some detail so that we can better understand the need for Mary's appearance, message and invitation. Concluding with the person of Juan Diego and the inspiration we can draw from Mary's choice of a humble, 57 year old widower to help bring about the conversion of the Americas.
