Hiiii!! ForFaith is about purpose, presence, and peace in the chaos - hosted by me, Faith. I'm a CA-born, NYC-livin gal navigating life with curiosity, ambition, and heart.

I created this space to process thoughts, explore big questions, and share stories that move us. After years in New York, I've seen how much we all crave honesty and connection. The name ForFaith comes from the belief that everything you do should make you proud of the life you're living, but also that everything you do should be in pursuit of what you love.     Catherine Barnett - award winning poet, NYC professor, enlightener, and my dad's childhood friend

    Catherine Barnett actually knew my dad when they went to Gunn High School together. When my dad suggested I reach out to Catherine, I did some background research and quickly recognized how creative and immersive she is. She is the author of 4 poetry collections and found her calling in teaching. She now teaches at NYU in a competitive graduate program for creative writing, where she challenges aspiring novelists of all different ages to connect to deeper layers of themselves and inspire them to constantly be an observer in life.     I could talk to Eavan (pronounced Evan) forever. My empathetic, Pisces queen! She was diagnosed with a rare disease called Stargardt, which basically causes degeneration of central vision. So while Eavan physically sees the world with a blurry center, the second you hear her, it’s crystal clear how bright, infectious, and genuinely uplifting she is. When she realized how few supportive, positive communities existed for people with different levels of blindness, she started BrightSide, to bring people on the blind spectrum together and form meaningful relationships with people who understand. Beauty Recs: Wave hair salon - I saw Joela Nail salon Michelle (€50 lash lift) Where we ate: First night = La Bruchetta (BEST MEAL OF MY LIFE) Second night = We wanted Vini E Vechi Sapori (suggested to get Peppercorn steak) but couldn’t get in so went to Gustavino Piazza della Signoria (get the chicken parm) Third night = Lo Scudo Panetteria E Stuzzicheria De Neri (better than All’Antico Vinaio) Tours Florence Cathedral Guided Tour with Secret Terraces & Optional Dome Climb Pitti Palace, Palatine Gallery & Boboli Gardens Guided Tour --> We ended uo canceling this bc we didn’t have time but I suggest a guided tour since the gardens and palace are HUGE Ufitzi and Academia Entry and Guided Tour (it was a combo) The Mall Firenze (outlet mall!!)

    ITALY RECAP - Part 1 (Milan, Como, Portofino, Cinque Terre)

I would've combined them, but was shocked to realize it would have been over 2 hours of me BLABBING! anywho, links below...love you! Stores I recommend in Milan: Shopping & try on haul with where I bought everything! Natura La belle époque (where I got the diesel jacket, vintage store) Bivio (where I got the blazer, vintage store) Pull & bear (in America too) Brand on Vintage (pink Chanel) Other vintage handbag stores: ManiaVintage Vintage Room Milano Milan Touristy Things that I Recommend: Milan Duomo Tour (highly recommend!) We couldn’t get Last Supper Tickets, so do that a few months in advance here! - Where we stayed - Milan (Missori Hotel, Piazza Missori Sonder) Lake Como: Como Airbnb in Varenna (one of the towns on the lake) Also home to Villa Monastero (we bought tickets day of at the entrace, very worth it!) Was recommended to go to Castello di Vezio right behind the Villa but we didnt have time Shopping & try on haul (I bought the belts at the store in Varenna!) Boat Tour (pick up in Como Town) 3 hours best of Lake Como Group Tour - Santa Margherita Ligure: Where we stayed - Santa Margherita (Hotel Tigullio) We LOVED Santa Margherita!!! SO charming and highly recommend staying here and day tripping to Portofino. It is a 10-minute bus or 30-minute bike/walk! We dropped our laundry at Lavanderia artigiana da Marie and I can't recommend enough!
