Finding Comfort in Correction

Something God is working out in me is the desire for comfort. He's not telling me that comfort is bad but I want to get more comfortable with discomfort knowing that it's often for my benefit and for my growth. In Psalm 23 David says he is comforted by the "rod and staff" so that sent me in to study mode and I'm getting so much out of it so I wanted to share some.

Grieving the Life I Planned

I don't know about you but in my life I'd had moments where I felt like God was NOWHERE to be found. I didn't feel Him anywhere, I didn't really see Him working or moving, and shame about decisions kept me from finding out where he really was. Turns out He was never as far away as I thought.
