Why Your Marketing Isn’t Working (And What To Do About It)

Today on the Community podcast, Kristina is joined by fellow agency owner, entrepreneur, and marketing expert Chase Fairchild, founder of Bolt Marketing, to talk about what business owners are getting wrong about marketing and how to build a marketing strategy that actually works. Chase shares lessons from more than a decade of entrepreneurship and marketing, including why great marketing starts with a clear plan, strong messaging, and a product or service people actually want. Tune in to hear: Why every business needs a clear marketing strategy before creating more content. How strong messaging, your website, organic marketing, and ads work together. Why spending more money on ads won’t fix a weak marketing foundation. How to choose the right platforms instead of trying to be everywhere. Where AI fits into marketing and why human connection still matters. Why your marketing and sales strategies need to work together. What to reconsider when your marketing isn’t getting results. Kristina and Chase also talk about word-of-mouth marketing, creating a business people want to talk about, and why sometimes the problem isn’t your marketing strategy, it’s the offer itself. If you’re a founder doing all the things with your marketing but not seeing the results you want, this episode will help you simplify your strategy, strengthen your messaging, and focus on what actually moves your business forward. How to Attract High-Ticket Clients With Messaging That Converts

Today on the Community podcast, Kristina is joined by messaging expert Kristina Knapp to talk about how to create messaging that attracts high-ticket clients and positions your business for premium buyers. With 20 years of experience in business and marketing, Kristina shares why attracting luxury buyers isn’t about constantly teaching, giving away more information, or trying to appeal to everyone. Instead, it’s about creating exclusivity, owning your positioning, and speaking directly to the clients you actually want to work with. Tune in to hear: Why educational content can sometimes attract beginner buyers instead of high-ticket clients. How to create a “red velvet rope” around your business that makes the right clients want in. Why exclusivity and strong positioning can help attract luxury buyers. How “inner world thoughts” can make your messaging connect more deeply with your dream clients. Why creating an aspirational brand identity can build greater desire around your business. How being willing to polarize and repel the wrong people can strengthen your brand. Why showing up as the business owner you want to be 10 years from now can transform your messaging today. Kristina also shares why entrepreneurs need to stop editing their messaging to include everyone and start getting incredibly clear about the high-ticket clients they would love to work with again and again. If you’re ready to strengthen your messaging, attract more high-ticket clients, and build a brand that premium and luxury buyers want to be part of, this episode will challenge you to think bigger about how you show up. Puja shares her journey from corporate art director to entrepreneur, the lessons she has learned through ten years in business, and why strategic branding is about so much more than choosing colours, fonts, and a pretty logo. How We Used a Billboard to Celebrate and Build Our Community

Today, Kristina and Maria are sharing the story behind one of their biggest High Vibe Women moments yet: taking over a billboard in Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square and surprising 25 women from their community by putting them on it. What started as one of Kristina’s big ideas quickly became something much more meaningful. Instead of making the billboard about themselves, Kristina and Maria used the milestone to celebrate the women who believed in High Vibe Women, supported the community early on, and helped make it what it is today. Tune in to hear: Why Kristina and Maria chose to make their billboard a celebration of their community. The power of bringing your community along for the ride as your business grows. Why building a culture of gratitude creates deeper relationships and stronger communities. How celebrating business milestones helps you recognize how far you’ve come before chasing the next goal. Why no entrepreneur is truly “self-made” and the importance of recognizing the people who supported you along the way. A behind-the-scenes look at how Kristina convinced Maria to say yes to one of her biggest ideas yet. This episode is a reminder to celebrate your wins, honour your community, and make space for gratitude as your business grows. Britt shares what business owners need to know before investing in Google Ads, Meta Ads, or LinkedIn Ads, and why a strong ad strategy is less about spending more and more about spending strategically. 5 Lessons we've learned from running events

In this episode of Community, IRL with my bestie Maria, we’re sharing five of the biggest lessons we’ve learned from running hundreds of events over the years. From intimate dinners and retreats to 200-person experiences, online events, and most recently our yacht mastermind, we’ve learned a lot about what makes an event truly impactful. Events have always been such an important part of how Maria and I build community, and in this conversation we’re sharing the things that have worked, the lessons we’ve learned the hard way, and what we’re continuing to improve as High Vibe Women grows. Bigger isn’t always better, and we’ve learned that creating different-sized experiences gives our community more opportunities to connect in the way that works best for them. Real-time event content has become a game changer for us because it captures the energy in the room, creates excitement for attendees, and builds FOMO for the people following along from home. Strong partnerships come from creating a true win-win, so we always ask how we can make a collaboration a “slam dunk” for both us and the brand or partner involved. The more information we give attendees before an event, the less confusion and admin there is, which is why we’ve become much more intentional about creating one central place for schedules, FAQs, venue details, resources, and everything else they need. The energy we bring into the room matters, and we’ve seen firsthand that showing up authentically, leading with integrity, and genuinely caring about the people we serve helps attract the kind of community we want to build. After running so many events, one of our biggest takeaways is that there will always be something new to learn. Every event gives us another opportunity to listen to feedback, drop our egos, make changes, and create an even better experience the next time. If you’re hosting events, thinking about creating one, or simply looking for ways to build a stronger community around your business, I hope these lessons help you learn some of these things the easy way instead of the hard way like we did. How we have secured over six figures in event sponsorship

‘How did you get that event sponsor?’ This is something we get asked literally all the time in our High Vibe Women Online community. High Vibe Women has grown so much over the past 3 years and Kristina and Maria have gone from feeling confused and intimidated about event sponsorship to raising over 100K of event sponsorship. This certainly didn’t happen overnight, but they are pulling back the curtain on how they did it and what you need to know in order to level up your event sponsorship for your next event. Tune in to hear: How Kristina and Maria grew from no sponsors to over six figures in sponsorship for a single event. Pitching sponsors with confidence and moving past the fear of rejection. Why proof of concept and social proof make sponsorship easier over time. How to identify the right sponsors for your event and audience. What makes a strong sponsorship pitch and how to tailor it to each brand. Why relationship-building and long-term partnerships are key to sponsorship success. How community building can open doors to aligned sponsors and meaningful business growth. How to build a relationship-based business through community and consistency

Today, Kristina is joined by her business bestie Cher, a Waterloo Region real estate agent and coach for women in real estate, to talk about how she built her business through community, relationships and consistent marketing. Tune in to hear: • Why giving away valuable information can build trust and attract more aligned clients. • How Cher used a simple weekly Instagram series to begin growing her real estate business. • Why consistent marketing matters most when engagement is quiet or business feels slow. • How to use Cher’s “capacity gap” approach to add new marketing strategies without overwhelming yourself. • Why business owners should continue investing in marketing when others are pulling back. • How supporting your local community can create stronger relationships, referrals and future opportunities. • Why experimenting with a strategy and choosing to stop does not mean you failed. • How to decide whether an opportunity supports your own definition of success. This conversation is an encouraging reminder that building a relationship-based business does not require doing everything at once. Through consistent marketing, genuine community building and a willingness to keep showing up, you can create a business that feels aligned with the way you want to work and live.
