If so, it is very possible (if you’re lucky) that most of your childhoods were blessed with a (un)healthy dose of movies and crummy Lord of the Rings/Masters of the Universe fanmoviefics (just us?)…..From some (relative) classics, ultra-actionverse extravaganzas, comedy for your brown pants, all forms of medieval to modern (hur) horrors, and everything else in between (maybe), we will revisit a few of our favorite re-runs and a few new-runs. You all know the story of the classic RomCom setup--Girl Meets Ouiji Board–Demon Finds Rompy Romance, that we all grew up with right? Many a fan wished they too could be “swept” off their feet by the attentions of tall, dark, mysterious, demonic mimes back in their heyday. And with that pallid complexion and twelve-packs-a-day-smokers’ voice, who wouldn’t? CK Presents: The Exorcist 3: aka Get Exorcising In preparation for the new hotness of The Exorcist Beginning, we went through every Exorcist movie to recharge our anticiparection (not a word probably) batteries. Here on E3:Super Jesus Man Returns 2, we are given a plethora of big-name talent (Patrick Ewing as Death, Anyone?) and something, something, crazy-ass possession….is that Fabio? Little known fact, apparently the olds are weak to possession, so if you don’t want to get possessed by an evil entity, just don’t get old. Eazy peazy problem solved. As a direct continuation of the first Exorcist movie (spoilers!), we’re given the spunky sequel we never asked for, but probably deserved (after part 2).
