Steve Williams is a leader, visionary, and business developer in the agricultural industry who is continuing to develop innovative changes in farming and ranching, including big developments happening right now. Going back through the years, he ran his own 600+ acre certified organic farm for decades which included both beef & dairy cattle. He co-founded an organic processing and marketing company called Naturally Iowa, now known as Totally Green, Inc., and helped build the first dairy in the world to develop and use a completely compostable corn-plastic bottle for its products. This company has grown into a multi-million dollar publicly traded company. Having earned his Bachelor's in Management from Iowa State University, he's been the Governor of Iowa’s Food Policy Council, worked with the Iowa Dept of Agriculture on the Organic Standards Board, and was a founding board member of the Iowa Organic Association He's since been running A1 Microbes LLC since 2012, helping farmers and ranchers develop healthy soil, as well as working with Texas Slim and others at The Beef Initiative. He recently went to the King Ranch to look at a selection of cattle for the beef project in El Salvador which I am very interested to hear about.
