Bazookaaah

Gavin Webster

UK politics satirised from a house in North Tyneside with your host Gavin Webster. Ranting about the latest commons vote, to the latest whip resigning to the latest Trump tweets, Gav weaves his way through it in an articulate poetical way with a musical background. Bazookaaah Number 82

Send us Fan Mail Number 82 and it starts with a bit of classic anti Royalism followed by a bit of pop music! Yes it's a bit of a trivial start but of course it was big news in the corporate pop world this week when the most famous ginger in East Anglia (well he used to be but Harry's back now isn't he) Ed Sheeran caused a storm by firing his support act for his own act of support of some middle easterns. John Constable (evening all), George Orwell and several other famous Ipswich famous sons get a mention and Macklemore, the Irish support group and several other pop types as well as the head of the tour Mr Kraft (Gillette) get a good bazookering. There's a bit of Trump but more importantly Carney of Canada gets a dressing down and to close this week's pod we get stuck into the sticky subject of AI and what we're going to do about it. Some Facebook shouts in there as well. Get it listened to and tell your friends!! Bazookaaah Number 81

Send us Fan Mail We're on 81 now and this one starts with letter friendly tongue twister headlines. Sometimes there's only one show in town but there's three this week. Who to choose from, is it Nigel? Nah, believe it or not he's been thrown off the front page by two even more right wing people. Tommo has come from nowhere and he emerges with the army of balaclava boys coming out of vans like fly by night Dinorod bog unblockers, Patriot Platform are very mobile, one minute they're in Portsmouth then hey presto they're outside the Daily Mail London offices, suited and booted and still in their balaclavas. Surely though the week belongs to Tommy though, Tommo is the pretender to the crown of risible right wingers but Tommy is still the supreme leader after another week of exposed bullying, threatening and pleas for money from his army of followers. They all get a bazookering. Get stuck into it!! Support the show Get in touch with Bazookaaah by passing stories or funny news pieces or even personal anecdotes to gav@bazookaaah.co.uk

    Bazookaaah Number 80

Send us Fan Mail Here we are, the BIG EIGHT O. A new prime minister batting off Baddy Badenoch and of course Baron Tice who gets Bazookered more than once on this episode due to his embarrassing Dad act in the commons and on TV political programmes with his anger and ire at net stupid zero and solar blummin power. Yes Starmer, after his announcement of his planned 'running away' gets the treatment as well, I'm going to miss doing his impression when he's a nobody next year. A by election has been called, Jack Polanski will get a bazookaaah next week as he's thrown his Green hat into the ring for the upcoming campaign. Driverless cabs in London, the dinghies and the gangs and undercover reporters at garden parties, it's all here. Great to be back!! Bazookaaah Number 79

Send us Fan Mail Robert Bush, no not the presidential dynasty but the funeral director gets a respectful funeral type hammering at the end but the main news is the Spanish Cueto which sounds like a dance or a form of the runs but no it's an island near Morocco so it's like Spain's Guernsey. Not much Trump or Burnham this week but we do cover the T shirt-gate event of the year with a leader's friend and a photo and a reaction from a leader but for the moment not a politician, you know what I'm talking about. I aint gonna play Sun City, Radovan Karadzic, Denis Lilley and many others they all get a bazookering. Do get stuck in and of course become a supporter of Bazookaaah Support the show Get in touch with Bazookaaah by passing stories or funny news pieces or even personal anecdotes to gav@bazookaaah.co.uk

    Bazookaaah Number 78

Send us Fan Mail We're at 78 and it's turned into very much an economic Bazookaaah! But of course we had to talk about the relaxing of taxes on household fuel bills and business rates for licence premises. Oh how they complain though, who does? Celebrity bloody chefs. Cue a bazookering of Tom Kerridge and Nick Beardsmore. Yes I've no idea either. Mind you it got me to name check Tony Barber and Bobby Crush! Very much stars of yesteryear. Some great Northern Ireland bomb stuff as well, also the number 10 North unveling. Oh I wish I'd been there, it sounds great. We got a few references in like Frank N Furter, Mae West and Martin Scorcese's mother. Gary Lineker gets a free pass but there's a bit of a bazookering for old Thatch supporters and the Northumbrian town of Haltwhistle!! Get stuck in and tell your friends. Bazookaaah Number 77

Send us Fan Mail Bazookaaah 77, yes it's a punk reference. Isn't it, it's my favourite number. I don't think 26 is Starmer's favourite number. Good riddance you turncoat twat. The end of the Keir show had the usual lack of gigs and incisive conviction. Trump bombing Iran again, obviously the Dartmoor death last week and Andy's coronation along with many other Bazookerings dominate this week's effort. Golda Maier, the charge of the light brigade, Thomas Tuchel, Jacob Rees Mogg and Paul McCartney, Argentina FC as well as the wonderful Mariella Frostrup all get a grilling. Do please like and share. Bazookaaah Number 76 A Farage Special

Send us Fan Mail Yes we couldn't ignore it, we couldn't just push it to the back pages or human interest section. We had to not only make it headlines but we had to devote the whole pod to it this week!! Can you blame us, it's box office and we must give the Bazookaaah public what they want. A bit of hot weather and the World Cup at the beginning but then we had to go in balls deep for Farage. Anyway it's us against the establishment so bring it on!!! Bazookaaah Number 75

Send us Fan Mail Here we are the 75th, lots of World Cup and bazookering the twats who spray beer everywhere when Ingurlund score. Great reference to domestic violence Djed Spence and the UK Subs. Burnham hasn't had his feet under the table at number 10 yet, that's number 10 London, no the one in Wigan that he's planning, but he gets the treatment here. Rupert Lowe, disabled racists and the Straights of Hormuz as well as Cape Horn and Cape Verde are all covered as well as the Stone Roses and Harry and Paul's Gone Fishing. Entebbe, the Grunwick picket line, even Aberdeen FC get more than a mention. This one is a stormer, get on to it!! Bazookaaah Number 74

Send us Fan Mail If Carlsberg did resignation speeches. Yes special K got his final Corbyn jabs in after 6 years of rewriting history with an Ode To Joy backing track. It was pure theatre, well not exactly Harold Pinter but rather Anyone For Dennis or Run For your Wife. Anyway I make no apology for playing all six minutes of it with my 'remarks' in the background. Anyway he's finally gone and did a typical summer season swan song performance from an Opportunity Knocks failure at PMQ's where he defended the equally shit Brigitte Philipson with vigour after Bad Badenoch put the pair of them on the canvas. Nigel gets bazookered on here and it's regretted a bit from me as it seems he got savaged by every journalist, left right and indeed centre all this week with his staggered press conference for fascist June or whatever it is. Do please enjoy and tell your dreadful friends about it as well. Bazookaaah Number 73 By Elections Special

Send us Fan Mail Here we are, the good people of Aberdeen but only in the South part, Broughty Ferry and Arbroath (same place) and of course Makerfield have spoken and it brought about three winners but none of them from the people's Reform UK party. The story of the night was of course Andy burned the bridges Burnham had to win otherwise Jess Phillips and that Steve Reed ponse would have sent the grim reaper to his door dressed as a pantomime horse or something. However Burnham won and everyone in the Labour Party are sucking up to him to death like it was snake poison inside their child. I'm not good at similies. Anyway Starmer, Farage, Tice, Dorries, Pochin and many others get a special by election bazookering. Kemi gets spared due to an unexpectedly good night from the golf club bores in the Conservative Party. I'll let Dorries off because she's such a risible woman that in a different life would have been an active member of the Manson family. Yes world news and we do a bit of Trump and really mutually advantageous Iranian (he says ironically) deals but it's mainly by election satire on a great Bazookaaah day!! Bazookaaah Number 72

Send us Fan Mail It's the first day of the World Cup and we're in a Wendys on Boston High Street getting the Irish American view on the greatest sporting show on earth. Anyway elsewhere Starmer gets a deserved grilling and of course Healey and his AI Carns as well as the new soldier Jarvis, Keir is running out of military men to defend the high court judge cum amateur politician and his equally talent free, humourless, charisma bypass friends on the front bench. Trump and his friends get a grilling with this promise of Iran action, is anyone listening to him anymore. But he won a landslide at the previous election despite the fact that the Democrats rigged it, anyway this all happened because the president himself said so. Let's hope he lasts as long as an Iranian sports visa. Right listen in and pass it on folks Support the show Get in touch with Bazookaaah by passing stories or funny news pieces or even personal anecdotes to gav@bazookaaah.co.uk

    Bazookaaah Number 71

Send us Fan Mail We start with a World Cup observation 1966 of course and when it'll get mentioned next week during the first game. My car crash gets a mention, well I'll rephrase that, the car crash I didn't have but nearly had, I hope that's not prophetic, well if it is I'll not know anything about it. Trump does David Bowie, of course Peter Murrell, Sturgeon and of course 'bald' humour. Of course Farage gets a bazookering and there's nods to Fabricant, Ferigno and Bixby from Hulk fame. Gibbons and Kenyan from Reform, Phillipson from Friends of Isreal and a supply teacher woman from The Greens and of course Robinson from very good Friends of Israel get a mockings and Ovett and Coe, Batman alongside Mel and Sue and Vorderman are all part of this week's plot. Have a listen and tell your terrible friends to as well. Support the show Get in touch with Bazookaaah by passing stories or funny news pieces or even personal anecdotes to gav@bazookaaah.co.uk

    Bazookaaah Number 70

Send us Fan Mail Our last show of May in the spring sunshine. A brief nod to the weather then we get stuck into Sturgeon and her grandfather, sorry husband Peter Murrell who lets face it will never get the part of Baron Hardup in the lucrative Glasgow pantomimes. Anyway they get a good bazookering!! JD Vance gets a shoeing due to his 'nearly there' stance on the Iran crisis. The Tories are getting shot at but frankly the words fish in a barrel spring to mind these days, it's like trying to empty the blind box hitting those arrogant golf club bores these days. Of course there's increasing satire when it comes to the Makerfield by election. more of that next week and the week after. Kenyon who gets bazzokered is very much comedy gold, the daft Rugby League loving, women hating, obsessed with driving directions buffoon. He's been sent from heaven. Unfortunately he'll be back in oblivion next month! Crack on, have a listen, there's loads of swearing in it and there's mentions of Les Dawson, Don Revie and The Hillman Imp!! Bazookaaah Number 69

Send us Fan Mail Yes we start with Irish oppression which might appeal to some and some dreadful Cork and Dublin accents, weird place to start but it's very topical. Spygate, the SFA and RAF Lakenheath get a hammering at the explosive beginning as do The Beezer and Middlesbrough. More traditional bastards get the Bazoookah treatment like Tice, Lowe and of course Farage get a couple of other folk from that part of the spectrum including Grimes who inspired me to tell one of my favourite jokes where someone rings ball to ball to ball to ball ball bearings, do you know it? Trooping the Raise Of The Colours and of course this ludicrous government that genuinely think they're popular, someone really needs to tell them!! Alton Towers, Christy Moore, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, Maya Fortstata and Basingstoke Railway station all get nods. This ones a classic you must like and share and you must get in touch!! Bazookaaah Number 68 Local Election Special

Send us Fan Mail Grimes, Tice, Farage and the bloke who called it UKIP instead of Reform take a bow you've had a great night. The PM faced the music and 'got the message' as did Steve Reed who said that it's clear that the electorate wants us to carry change out quicker. Get owa yourself son!! Lammy talked about musical chairs and Green have disappeared somewhat since the smears however Hackney Marshes is now Green thanks to victory from a Oxfam looking woman called Zoe. Don't worry it's Trump free this week due to the council shenanigans. Counting has just started in the Scotland and Welsh elections and Labour are expected to get their arse handed to them on a Wetherspoons plate there too. Plaid and SNP are helping to heap the pain on the metropolitan twats. Enjoy!! Bazookaaah Number 67

Send us Fan Mail Starmer still hanging on and that's our front page headlines. It ebbs and flows and the front bench get a Bazookering. Story number 2 though is a big diatribe when it comes to Daily Express and their misleading headlines and they didn't disappoint this week with their 'Staggering 7 Million Immigrants Coming To Britain'. Time for a famous Northern Ireland Hong Kong story, you can hear it about 15 minutes in. Trump and Charles met up and the highlights of the dinner are Bazookered. Some roast, ours was more of a barbecue of the pair of them. Finally though it's our big story and it's Malcolm Offord and his Jungle Book party piece saying that everyone in Scotland wishing they were him. This is a real good one. Pass it on!! Bazookaaah Number 66 St George's Day Special

Send us Fan Mail Yes for blood and honour and every man and woman doing their duty on the NHS wards or whatever Shakespeare said. Anyway it's a St George's Day special and we're having a review of today's chaos but with a national day slant. Starmer surviving till the Maypoles is still on the cards but will he survive the when the fat Morris dancers sing? Yes commons select committees, Morgan invisible man McSweeney and of course come on ducky light my fire Wes Streeting all get a bazookering in the first story as does Zarah Sultana and unlikely banned bedfellow Lee 30 pence inflammable flag Anderson. Part two is a big long diatribe about the modern reaction to St George's Day, I'm very proud of it nearly as much as Reform UK are proud of the Red White and Blue, which funnily enough is the colours of the flag of Russia, not that that's got to do with anything. Right get on to it, have a listen and tell your friends. I'm not a Sikh so God save the Singh. Bazookaaah Number 65

Send us Fan Mail We're back with the previous pension episode and we give a nod to Bismark and Prussia as a result. Of course Boomers get a bazzokering as does Heinrich Himmler (similar politics) and later in the show we give brickbats to the front bench and of course Starmer as well as his likely successor Streeting. Orban is referenced with a few jokes and of course Trump and hisHormuz Straights brilliance is cross referenced as well. Some lovely stuff on the Matt Goodwin continuing shenanigans and his best selling book fantasy too. Get on to it, tell your friends and save a bit of spare time to listen to Bazookaaah!! Bazookaaah Number 64

Send us Fan Mail Yes Easter is done and thankfully there was no nuclear war on Monday, small victories eh?!! The Straight of Hormuz was closed then open, then restricted then it seems it's closed again. It's like the Blackwall Tunnel! Speaking of subtreanea The Russians have been seen in British waters looking at our undersea cables, just a look though apparently, there was no fear of them cutting them with seafaring scissors. Anyway we're not taking much notice because Starmer is too busy huddling with the Arabs, obviously Yvette Cooper is not allowed to because it's not haram. So Melania Trump, Sinnitta, John Healey the defence secretary and of course Trumpy get a good grilling this week as do other ancient orders and institutions. Lots of jokes and send ups, you can't beat a bit of Bazook!! Support the show Get in touch with Bazookaaah by passing stories or funny news pieces or even personal anecdotes to gav@bazookaaah.co.uk

    Bazookaaah Number 63

Send us Fan Mail Is Trump wobbling? Difficult to tell but he says obliterated a bit too much for me and eliminated...and decimated and of course the US defence budget has been, well it's been urinated. Anyway poor Leavitt is getting the blame and Bondi is gone, Hegseth his drunken retail manager is choking on his own vomit but they all get the treatment as do Scott Mills and Jesse Birdsall. It does come back to Trump but goes the way via Yvette Cooper, Marks and Spencer and Norman Schwarzkopf. But we're not dealing with Churchill here and Trump gets proper bazookered this month. Also the youth of today and the met police who will deal with them 'decisively'. It wouldn't be Bazookaaah without a crack at the government and of course the risible Reform and their here today gone tomorrow stars Offord and Dudley. And if that isn't enough, the Easter space travel to the far side of the moon gets out treatment. Like and share and tell your friends.
