One Calgary soccer team excels while another capitulates

We review both Cavalry FC and the Calgary Wild's matches from this weekend. Both matches featured blowouts. Cavalry FC were the victors in their 5-0 demolition of Inter Toronto. Meanwhile, the Wild sunk to a new low with a 6-0 loss at the hands of AFC Toronto. We also preview the Wild's Wednesday match in the Canadian Championship where they host CS Mont-Royal Outremont at Spruce Meadows. This would be the first time a non-Cavalry team played a soccer match at Spruce Meadows. The Alberta Premier League had one double header on Friday and we review that one. We also have a date for the final matches of the season, where BTB will take on Callies United. Subscribe to our Substack or follow us on Twitter/X or on Instagram or Bluesky.
