She Was Finally Leaving Her Pastor Husband.. Two Days Later, MICA MILLER Was De*d
The death of Mica Miller, the 30-year-old wife of Myrtle Beach pastor John-Paul “JP” Miller, has returned to the spotlight following Netflix's 2026 documentary Death of the Pastor's Wife. Mica was found dead at North Carolina's Lumber River State Park on April 27, 2024, just two days after JP was served with separation papers. Authorities ruled her death a suicide, and JP has never been charged with causing her death. However, Mica's family and friends have described allegations of abuse, surveillance and coercive control during their marriage. In December 2025, federal prosecutors separately indicted JP Miller for cyberstalking Mica and making false statements to investigators, alleging unwanted communications, tracking devices, financial interference, an intimate image posted without consent and damage to her vehicle. JP has pleaded not guilty, with his federal case currently expected to proceed in October 2026.

The Suitcase M*rder That Shocks Thailand & Australia.. CAKE TUNCHANOK
In June 2026, 17-year-old Thai teenager Tunchanok “Cake” Donhomla travelled from Kalasin to Pattaya after telling her family she wanted to see the sea. On June 25, CCTV captured Cake entering a condominium with 45-year-old Australian Simon Peter Carman. Hours later, cameras allegedly showed Carman transporting a large suitcase toward nearby railway tracks. Cake was reported missing the following day, and police arrested Carman at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport as he prepared to fly to Australia. Her body was subsequently discovered inside a suitcase near the railway line. Thai police say an autopsy found Cake died from suffocation and suffered a brain injury, while Carman's DNA allegedly matched evidence recovered from her body. Carman denies murder and says he acted in self-defense following a dispute over money. He remains in custody awaiting further legal proceedings.

Britain's “Canal K*ller” Just Died in Prison With His Dark Secrets.. JOHN SWEENEY
British convicted murderer John Sweeney, known as the “Canal Killer” and “Scalp Hunter,” died at HMP Whitemoor in August 2026 while serving a whole-life sentence. Sweeney was convicted in 2011 of murdering former girlfriends Melissa Halstead and Paula Fields, whose remains were discovered in canals in Rotterdam and London a decade apart. Halstead remained unidentified for 18 years until a Dutch cold-case investigation and DNA testing finally connected her death to Sweeney. Journalist's Car Exploded After Exposing Malta's Most Powerful Men.. DAPHNE CARUANA GALIZIA
Maltese investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia was assassinated by a car bomb near her home in October 2017 after years of exposing alleged corruption involving Malta's political and business elite. Investigators eventually uncovered a murder plot involving convicted hitmen, bomb suppliers, middleman Melvin Theuma, and wealthy businessman Yorgen Fenech, who prosecutors accuse of commissioning the killing for €150,000. Fenech denies ordering the assassination and claims former government chief of staff Keith Schembri was actually behind the plot, an allegation Schembri denies. In July 2026, nearly nine years after Daphne's death, Fenech finally went on trial. In Part 2 of the Lindsay Clancy case, we examine the final weeks of her 2026 Massachusetts murder trial and the central question now facing the jury: was Clancy criminally responsible when she killed her three children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, in January 2023? Sunday Dinner Turned Into a Family Massacre.. 8 Dead in Montana
Eight members of one family, including four children, were killed during a horrific shooting and house fire at 315 White Star Circle near Billings, Montana, on August 23, 2026. Authorities identified the suspected gunman as 44-year-old Alan Smith, who allegedly attacked his parents, grandmother, sister and four children during a Sunday family dinner before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Relatives say Smith had recently been asked to move out of his parents' home, though investigators have not officially established a motive. Among the victims was 12-year-old Charlotte Ghekiere, whose family says she courageously called 911 while the attack was unfolding. In the final episode of our Family Tragedy series, we examine the Billings shooting timeline, the Smith family, the devastating fire and the questions investigators are still trying to answer. Because this story is developing quickly, I checked reporting published through August 27, 2026 rather than relying on the earlier version alone. The most important new information is the identification of Alan and the victims, the 5:49 p.m. arrival timeline, the family's account that Charlotte called 911, and the revelation that Alan had been asked to move out weeks earlier.

298 Missing Person Cases Are Being Reopened.. What Is Happening on JEJU ISLAND??
A major Jeju Island missing-person scandal is unfolding in South Korea after 37-year-old Jang Mi-ran was found dead 104 days after disappearing in May 2026. Police allege an officer at Jeju Western Police Station prematurely closed her case after falsely claiming he had spoken with Jang and confirmed she was safe. Another missing man in his 60s, whose family says it received a similar explanation, was later found dead after 51 days. Authorities are now reviewing all 298 missing-person cases handled by the officer during roughly 17 months in the unit. A dedicated task force has been established, supervisory approval will now be required before missing-person cases can be closed, and President Lee Jae Myung has ordered a thorough investigation into the failures that allowed the cases to be terminated.

Five Family Members Dead.. 41 Years Later, But JEREMY BAMBER is Apparently Innocent??
In the final episode of our Family Tragedy Series, we revisit the 1985 White House Farm murders, where Jeremy Bamber was convicted of killing his parents, Nevill and June Bamber, his sister Sheila Caffell, and her six-year-old twins Daniel and Nicholas. Bamber has maintained his innocence for more than 40 years, arguing that Sheila killed the family before taking her own life. His conviction still stands, but major questions remain around the original forensic case. Recent scrutiny has focused on whether a rifle silencer central to the prosecution case was actually used, whether scratch marks beneath a kitchen mantel appeared only after the murders, and a newly surfaced witness account suggesting a phone call came from inside White House Farm that morning. Bamber remains imprisoned while his legal team continues pushing for another review.

Japan's Mystery Solved by a Dead Man's Camera.. The M*rder of MIYAKO HIRAOKA
In October 2009, 19-year-old University of Shimane student Miyako Hiraoka vanished after leaving her part-time job in Hamada, Japan. Eleven days later, her remains were discovered around Mount Garyu in neighboring Hiroshima Prefecture, launching a massive murder investigation that remained unsolved for seven years. In 2016, police finally identified 33-year-old Tomiharu Yano, a man with previous convictions involving attacks on women, as the suspected killer. The breakthrough came after investigators connected Yano's vehicle movements to the case and recovered deleted data from a digital camera and USB drive containing 57 photographs, including images of Miyako taken after her disappearance. But Yano could never face trial: he and his mother had died in a car crash on November 8, 2009, just two days after Miyako's remains were first discovered.

Inside South Africa's Family Axe Murders - The HENRI VAN BREDA Case
In Episode 6 of our Family Tragedy Series, we examine the Van Breda family axe murders, one of South Africa's most infamous criminal cases. On January 27, 2015, Martin and Teresa van Breda and their eldest son, Rudi, were killed inside their highly secured Stellenbosch home. Sixteen-year-old Marli survived devastating injuries, while her brother Henri van Breda claimed a masked intruder had attacked the family. Investigators found no forced entry, no missing valuables and extensive forensic evidence that contradicted Henri's account, including blood spatter linking him closely to multiple attack scenes. In 2018, Henri was convicted of three murders, attempted murder and obstructing justice and received three life sentences. His appeals ultimately reached South Africa's Constitutional Court, which rejected his final bid in 2019. Yet his girlfriend and some relatives continued supporting him, while the motive behind the killings remains unresolved.

Another One.. Mexican Influencer Murdered While Livestreaming - CÉSAR GASTÉLUM
Mexican influencer César Daniel Nolasco Gastélum, known as Cesarín and Compasexor, was shot dead during a livestream outside a KFC in Culiacán, Sinaloa, on August 4, 2026. Two helmeted men approached on a motorcycle before one gunman opened fire at close range, killing the young TikTok creator as his camera continued recording. Mexico's Federal Attorney General's Office has since taken over the investigation, with no publicly confirmed arrests or official motive announced. Online theories claim Gastélum's social-media posts suggested shifting sympathies between rival Sinaloa Cartel factions Los Chapitos and La Mayiza, but his family disputes alleged cartel connections and authorities have not confirmed that theory. The Pregnant Wife Who Survived Her Husband's Murder Plot.. The Miracle of WANG NAN
In the next episode of our Family Tragedy Series, we examine the extraordinary survival story of Wang Nan, also known as Wang Nuannuan, a pregnant Chinese businesswoman whose husband, Yu Xiaodong, pushed her from a 34-metre cliff at Thailand's Pha Taem National Park on June 9, 2019. Wang survived the 110-foot fall with 17 fractures, but later lost her unborn child. Thai courts ultimately found that Yu deliberately tried to kill his wife amid gambling debts and financial motives, sentencing him to 33 years and four months in prison. But Wang's story didn't end on that cliff. After years of surgeries and rehabilitation, she rebuilt her life, became a mother through IVF in 2024 and, after a six-year legal struggle, finally obtained a divorce from Yu in October 2025.

She Got One Phone Call.. Minutes Later, Pakistani TikToker SHAMSO BIBI Was Dead
Pakistani TikTok creator Shamso Bibi, known online as Ayesha Gilamana, was shot dead in Taxila near Islamabad on August 14, 2026. The 28-year-old influencer, who had more than 1.3 million TikTok followers, was traveling with her brother and 15-year-old sister after allegedly receiving a phone call asking her to leave her home. Two men on a motorcycle then approached the vehicle and opened fire, fatally striking Shamso in the neck and leaving her sister seriously injured after the car crashed. Her family believes the killing may be connected to threats arising from a financial or property dispute. Police have detained several suspected facilitators and arrested Kashif alias Kashi, one of the men named in the murder complaint. JOHN LIST - America's Most Wanted.. The Father Who Erased His Family
In November 1971, accountant and Sunday school teacher John List murdered his wife Helen, mother Alma, and three children inside their 19-room Westfield, New Jersey mansion, Breeze Knoll. He left behind a five-page letter claiming financial ruin and fears for his family's souls drove his decision, then vanished before the bodies were discovered nearly a month later. For almost 18 years, List lived under the name Robert Peter Clark, rebuilding his life as an accountant, churchgoer and eventually husband to another woman. His disappearance ended after America's Most Wanted aired his case in May 1989 using forensic artist Frank Bender's remarkably accurate age-progressed sculpture. A viewer's tip led investigators to Virginia, where fingerprints finally exposed Bob Clark as John List.

Part 2 of Ohio's "House of Horrors" case examines major new developments involving Gary and Elizabeth Siders and the 16 children rescued from their Hamden, Ohio home in June 2026. Her Own Mother Handed Her Over for $200.. The M*rder of SHANIYA DAVIS
Five-year-old Shaniya Davis was reported missing from Fayetteville, North Carolina, on November 10, 2009. Investigators soon discovered hotel surveillance showing her with Mario McNeill, a man prosecutors said her mother, Antoinette Davis, had given access to Shaniya in connection with a $200 debt. Six days later, Shaniya's body was found near the Lee-Harnett County line. Authorities determined she had been sexually assaulted and killed by asphyxiation the same day she disappeared. McNeill was convicted in 2013 of first-degree murder, kidnapping, human trafficking and related offenses and sentenced to death, a sentence upheld in 2018. Antoinette entered Alford pleas including second-degree murder and received roughly 17½ to 21¾ years. Three Sons M*rdered by Their Father.. The CHAD DOERMAN Family Tragedy
On June 15, 2023, Chad Doerman killed his three young sons, Clayton, 7, Hunter, 4, and Chase, 3, at their family home in Monroe Township, Ohio. Prosecutors later reconstructed the hours before the murders, revealing cryptic comments, an aborted visit to a health clinic, disturbing behavior around the family's gun safe, and the desperate attempts of Doerman's wife and teenage stepdaughter to save the children. He was indicted on 21 charges and initially faced the death penalty.
