Psychology and composition
Send us Fan Mail I've been interested in psychology for a long time and I'm especially interested in how it relates to photography. In this case it's composition and why certain compositional elements are very effective. In this short podcast I'll do my best to explain my understanding of seven elements: Proximity Similarity Continuity Closure Figure-ground Symmetry and Order Common fate While I don't expect these insights to revolutionise your photography, it might give you pause for thought about which elements are around you and how you can use them in your photographs. Enjoy the podcast! It's time for another podcast... ... And... just before I go... How would you like to improve your photography today? If you would, I have a free PDF that takes you through 10 tips that you can apply immediately and, I hope, will create a positive change in your photography.
