Why Won't You Watch: Corrie is a weekly podcast. Emily started watching Coronation Street because of the Corrie/Emmerdale crossover, stayed for Swarla, and quickly became obsessed. Vic doesn't watch Corrie... yet!

A little note before we start: This episode was recorded a couple of weeks ago and has taken the scenic route to your podcast feed! After an unexpected break since mid-July, we’ve decided to extend our summer break a little longer — but we wanted to get this episode out to you before we disappear for a while. ❤️ This week on Why Won’t You Watch: Corrie?, things are a little different. Vic isn’t with us, so Legacy Lauren is stepping up to the mic as we catch up on what’s been happening on the cobbles. And seeing as we’re heading into an extended summer break, we’re making this one a bit of a Series One send-off. We’re looking back at the Stats Report in numbers, handing out our Series One Corrie Awards, catching up on the stories we’ve missed and even taking a little look at some classic Corrie holiday chaos. So consider this our slightly unexpected Series One finale — and definitely not the end of the Corrie Conversion Project.
