S2E14 - To Be or Not to Be... (aka a spitty teacher and a poem)
Everyone loses their mind over a poem Jack wrote. They all make the rumor of Jack's sexuality about them. Andie kind of sucks. Dawson thinks he should be involved for some reason. Joey lacks any tact on how to broach this rumor with Jack. Meanwhile, Pacey escalates things by spitting in the teacher's face for making Jack read his poem in front of the class. This results in the threat of suspension for Pacey if he does not apologize (which he doesn't). And Jack is taking everyone's self-centeredness like a champ. Oh. And Jen is finding the problematic Ty to be full of surprises (aka drinking and liking jazz).

The whole gang (plus pretentious college thespian Devon) work together to make Dawson's movie about his breakup with Joey. For some reason, Joey and Jack agree to help. Meanwhile, Andie and Pacey are at odds because Pacey thinks he can single-handedly cure generalized anxiety disorder. And Jen finally gets her grandmother's respect (sort of)!

All the squabbles the teens have get put to bed, which is safely away from the edge of the dock.
