By the following morning, her phone, car and belongings had been left behind. Then three items were found near the beach. Vanished West Q&A: Cases, Snakes & Rabbit Holes

Something a little different from Vanished West today. I'm stepping away from the usual case format to answer six questions about the podcast, the cases that stay with me, what happens behind the scenes, the strange messages and tips that sometimes find their way to me... and, somehow, snakes. We talk research rabbit holes, the realities of making Vanished West, the emotional weight of telling these stories, what I'd be doing if I wasn't making a missing-person podcast, and one case I'm currently working on that has well and truly pulled me in. A little less formal, a little more personal, and possibly the first Vanished West episode to involve questionable baking decisions.
